Namjoon

I see him either liking face to face cuddles or spooning. If you’re facing each other, he’d love it if you bury your face in his chest (sidenote: shirtless Namjoon happens a lot in this position. Make with this information what you want). If you’re spooning, he’d prefer to be your big spoon because he gets hot easily and like this, he can break away to cool off. He’d hold your hands and caress your waist with gentle kisses to your shoulder blades. 

If he is the small spoon, he’d start acting cute because he secretly likes it when you make him feel physically small. Actually, I changed my mind. I think he prefers being your small spoon because you get to hold him and caress him and he’d just melt in your arms. Not to be sad on main, but if he cries, this is the kind of position he cries in because you make him feel safe and vulnerable like this. 

He is the kind of person who either gives no random hugs throughout the day or lots of hugs. It all depends on how he feels that day and what kind of other people you are around. 

If you aren’t cuddling, but he still wants to be close, he’d trace your skin with his fingertips or rub your back.

Seokjin

He likes to be on his back, so I can see him liking positions where he can lie back and you are on top of him one way or another. Like you between his legs with your head on his chest. Or you cuddled into his side but with your head on his chest. Something where he can wrap his arms around you and feel you relax in his hold. 

Which is why I see him preferring to be your big spoon. He’ll hug you tightly and nuzzle into you. If he is the small spoon, he’d keep kissing your knuckles and telling you jokes so he can feel your laughter against his back.

Also he likes it when you’re on his lap with your face in his neck when he games. He’d keep sneaking his hand under your shirt and giving you innocent rubs or place kisses on your shoulder. 

If you're in private, he’d give you lots of hugs, but if you’re in public, he’d only hold your hand. He likes to keep the cuddles private because they’re very precious to him. 

If you aren’t cuddling and he wants physical connection, he is either shadow boxing with your arm or he is playfully moving your arms as if you were his puppet. He is definitely playful but cute.

Yoongi

Little spoon! Little spoon! Little spoon! He basically wants to live as your little spoon. The smaller he feels, the better. He’d really love it if you held his hand or rubbed his tummy. The warmth and softness of your body against his back is really comforting to him and he’d feel really safe like this. He also loves that you can easily give his neck kisses. 

Alternatively I can also really see him enjoying resting his head on your chest with his body between your legs. He’d like it because he could listen to your heartbeat and have you play with his hair. 

No matter the position though, I see him as the one getting snuggled and being the “tinier” counterpart.

The kind of guy that says that he needs his space before falling asleep, but then you catch him pressing his foot against your leg so he is still connected with you (if you call him out on it, he’d deny it and pull away).

I don’t see him giving you any hugs or cuddles in public because he is shy. He is definitely the type of person to do a whole 180 and turn into the biggest cuddlebug once he’s in the safety of your own home again. 

Hoseok 

I genuinely can’t think of an ultimate fave position because I see him liking all the positions. He’s a cuddlebug BUT he has to initiate it. Obviously he loves it when you cuddle up to him and he’d pull you closer (all I think about is the one Koobi hug in the Canada Run episodes. not shipping them! just how he would react if you initiated) but if he’s the one starting it, you’ll be buried in millions of hugs and kisses and cute sound effects. If it’s cuddles for sleep though, I can see him really liking it when you rest your head on his chest. He loves feeling your weight on him and your slow swirls of breath on his skin. It calms him down a lot.

If you roll away to fall asleep, he’d put his hand on your back (or waist depending on how you’re facing him) so you and he could still stay connected. 

He’s the kind of person to definitely give you little cuddles throughout the day, followed by kisses and an honest compliment. 

Jimin

He is another canditate for all positions are his favourite positions. He is for real such a cuddlebug. On the sofa he’d like it when one of you is on their back and the other is cuddled up to their side. In bed he prefers to spoon. When sitting, he’d love to sit on your lap as much as he loves it when you sit on his’. I think, however, that the one position which really makes his heart flutter is when you are facing each other, holding hands and with your foreheads together. This one really does it for him.

The type of person to hug you from the side throughout the day AND if you’re strong enough the kinda person to jump into your arms. He also likes to hook pinkies when you’re walking through a crowded room OR when you’re falling asleep together. 

There is no such thing as casual connection with him. If you aren’t cuddling and he wants physical touch, he’d simply cuddle up to you. 

Taehyung 

I don’t wanna keep it too short, but I feel like he’d cuddle the way he cuddles pillows or Yeontan. That’s it. No but seriously, he is a human koala and once he is cuddled to you, he is going to stick until either one of you has to leave, a limb has fallen asleep or the toilet is calling. I think any position where he can wrap his limbs around you is preferred. He’d also like to roll on top of you and giggle when you whine about his weight. I can generally see him being a little annoying sometimes like licking your face or biting your cheek, just because he likes it when you play-fight him back and you can laugh together. Also, this goes without saying, but if he can’t hold you as he falls asleep he will not find any sleep. 

Surprisingly enough I don’t see him giving you lots of random hugs throughout the day (unless you ask for them). He’s more into having one big cuddle time where he’ll pour all his affection into it.

Also listen. I feel like he unironically likes it when you hook toes when you aren’t cuddling but still craving some connection.

Jungkook 

Human weighted blanket. He’d love to bury you under him and wrap all his limbs around you. Like this, he feels as if he’s doing a good job at protecting you AND he can give your face a million kisses. It’s also the perfect position to make you laugh by tickling you according to your comfort levels or by nibbling on your neck innocently.

I can also see him loving it when your head rests on one of his arms. Like the big spoon position or him on his back with you cuddled into his side. If he’s your big spoon, he’d have you all wrapped up in his arms. If he’s on his back, he’d play with your hair as best as your hair texture allows it. 

He likes it when he can feel strong and needed and you are so obviously safe in his presence.

100% the type of person to back hug you constantly in private and put an arm around you when you’re around other people (in a “hihi we’re together <3” way not in a “they’re mine, back off” way). Holding hands is mandatory as well and I can see him initiating more cuddles than casual connection because he really likes cuddles.

His love language is definitely physical touch and quality time, so he sees cuddles as the ultimate bonding moment.

and when I dare say Hoseok has more chemistry and potential with ANY members from the maknae line than they have between themselves. Like Koobi ? Cuddles partners, Jk love hs’s scent, regularly went sleeping in hs’s bed during their dorm time. Jk mentioned a loooot of times how precious and unearthly kind hs is « he is angel ». They have the most physically affectionate friendship. Jk cried when hs tried to leave during they trainee days.

vhope, hs always describe Tae as his precious brother who grew up fast. Both supportive of each other’s work, tae flew from another country even tho he had schedules for hs’s enlistment. Tae’s « I think I love you too much » in hobi’s live

Star Wars: Trails of Red Episode 11: The Bloodbath

There were three Star Destroyers in the Koobi System. Thousands of officers and troopers were operating in each destroyer. There were very few planets in the system. All is calm and quiet. The Galactic Empire recently destroyed all homes that belonged to the Techno Union. The Techno Union was one of the Separatists' greatest allies during the Clone War. Now that the Confederacy of Independent Systems has been shattered into tiny pieces, the Union has been wiped out by the Empire. The admiral inside one of the Star Destroyers was sitting on the bed in his room. He had green eyes and light brown hair. He was holding a holo-picture of a woman his age with long blonde hair and blue eyes. He smiled at the picture as he stood up. He sat the picture down on the table next to his bed. The admiral took a deep breath and opened the door, proceeding to head to the bridge of the ship.

Inside the bridge was an Imperial Commander with black hair and brown eyes. He turned around and greeted the admiral of the ship. "Admiral Kanpoll." "Commander Arvo, how is our system?" Kanpoll asked. "Going very well thank you, nothing would please me more than to take down that wretched Techno Union." Arvo said. Commander Arvo used to be a commander for the Republic. Now he is a commander of the Galactic Empire. "All in a week's work." Kanpoll said. There was a bridge officer that approached Arvo and Kanpoll. "Admiral, Commander." he called. Both men turned towards the officer. "Grand Admiral Kougla wants this destroyer to head to the Mytaranor Sector. She says that there is... something she has to discuss with you." the officer reported. "Why Mytaranor?" Arvo asked. "She won't say." the officer replied. "We'll head to that sector now, at ease!" Kanpoll ordered. The Star Destroyer on the right turned around and jumped to hyperspace.

Two hours later, Kanpoll's Star Destroyer went to the Mytaranor Sector and found Kougla's Imperial Shuttle. The shuttle landed in the docking bay and opened the back door. There was a female grand admiral with blonde hair, amber eyes, and medium tan skin. She was escorted by four Death Troopers. Once she got out of the shuttle she was greeted by Kanpoll and Arvo. "Grand Admiral Kougla, I wasn't expecting to see you today." Kanpoll said. "Where is your Star Destroyer?" Arvo questioned. "My Star Destroyer is fine, but there is something I must inform the two of you. I believe it is best if we go to the debriefing room." Kougla said. "Yes, indeed. Come with us." Arvo said. Kougla left her death squadron alone and followed both Kanpoll and Arvo.

When they arrived at the debriefing room, Kougla pulled out a file drive and inserted it in the holo-projector. Both Kanpoll and Arvo were looking at Kougla as she activated the projector. There was an image of the Mytaranor Sector shown to all three authoritarian figures. The map showed five planets that were red. This caught the attention of Admiral Kanpoll and Commander Arvo. "What are we seeing?" Arvo asked. "This is the map of the Mytaranor Sector, the blue planets are either planets that we took over, or the governments who joined us. The red planets are the ones that are against us, two of them are in the Messert System." Kougla explained. "I don't understand, there is nothing in the Messert System." Kanpoll said. "That is what we were led to believe, until I encountered this man." Kougla said as she changed the image. There was a holographic picture of a human in camouflage clothing that has brown hair and green eyes. "This is Birkoll Strett, a former separatist sympathizer. He and his followers bombed two Imperial intelligence headquarters. These bombings happened in a span of three days." Kougla added on. "Where is Strett now?" Kanpoll asked. "He is in Hegarrt, the third planet of the Messert System. If we destroy Strett's followers and kill Strett, the bombings will cease." "I don't know about this, it could be a trap." Arvo said. "Commander Arvo, anything could be a trap. Lucky for us, we have one of the biggest Imperial Squadrons in history. We can easily take down Strett." Kanpoll said. "I am with Kanpoll on this one. Even if it is a trap, it would only affect a few troopers." Kougla said. "This guy bombed two headquarters for Imperial agents. That tells me he is too dangerous for an entire squad, even if they do have death troopers." Arvo said. "I still think we have a shot." Kanpoll disagreed. "So do I." Kougla added. Arvo sighed and just went with the plan. "Alright, how many troopers are we sending?" Arvo asked. "No more than a hundred and ten, plus my death squad." Kougla answered. "Since Hegarrt is a desert planet, it will be easy for us to take down Strett's rebellion and wipe out all of them." Kanpoll explained. "Okay, we'll do this." Arvo said.

Ten imperial transport shuttles headed towards Hegarrt. They arrived at the planet and landed on the ground. Kougla's shuttle followed the transport vessels and landed on the ground in front of the transport shuttles. The death squadron arrived with Horn Company Stormtroopers. There were other stormtrooper variants as well such as incinerator and artillery stormtroopers. A dark skin Strett Rebel Scout saw the Imperial Army and ran away. "Fan out and destroy the rebels." said the Stormtrooper commander. The Stormtroopers marched forward to search for the anti-Imperials.

The Scout went back to his base and encountered Birkoll Strett. "Birkoll, it is the Empire. They're here." the scout said. "A droid must have spotted us. Have the men defend the area. We are going to finish what we have started." Strett said.

There was a Rodian rebel that was followed by three human rebels. They were hiding in the hills of sand as the Stormtrooper Squadrons broke apart to find the rebels on their own. A Bith Sniper aimed his rifle at a Death Trooper and fired away. The Death Trooper was killed, thus alarming the garrison. The Rodian jumped up and shot down two Horn Company Stormtroopers. The lead Death Trooper fired his blaster and killed the Rodian rebel. The remaining rebels fired their blasters which only killed one Stormtrooper. Two Death Troopers killed all three human rebels. The Horn Captain shot down and killed the Bith sniper. "The rebels, they're near!" alerted one of the Stormtroopers. Two more Strett Rebels showed up and killed four Stormtroopers. An artillery Stormtrooper used his Model 201 motar system and killed one Strett Rebel. The lead Death Trooper killed the other rebel. The Imperial Horn Garrison rushed forward and shot down five more rebels. Two Stormtroopers were killed by the well trained Strett Rebels during the blaster fight. An incinerator Stormtrooper fired his flamethrower and killed three Strett Rebels. A rebel scout was shot and killed by a Death Trooper. The Death Troopers looked around only for two of them to be shot and killed by a Twi'lek rebel. The dark skin scout and the Twi'lek rebel fired their blasters and shot down the incinerator Stormtrooper. The Horn Company Stormtrooper Commander shot down and killed the two rebels. The remaining Death Troopers fired their blasters and killed a Tran sniper. Birkoll Strett threw a thermal detonator and blew up eight Stormtroopers. He fired his blaster and killed two artillery Stormtroopers and the lead Death Trooper. The Horn captain fired his blaster but missed Strett. Birkoll Strett fired his blaster and killed the Horn Captain and Commander. Strett threw two thermal detonators and blew up seventeen Stormtroopers. Birkoll Strett shot down and killed the last two Stormtroopers on the sandy grounds.

Imperial reinforcements arrived with a larger squadron of Stormtroopers surrounding the last rebel on Hegarrt. The troopers aimed their blasters as Birkoll as eight of them made way for Grand Admiral Kougla. She was in her sand mission uniform and was guarded by two Death Troopers. Birkoll instantly recognized Kougla and lowered his blaster. "I know who you are, you're the lady who sabotaged a separatist holdout." Strett said. "That I did, my name is Grand Admiral Kougla. And you must be Birkoll Strett." Kougla said. "You did a great job fooling me, Grand Admiral. I bet this was your plan all along. How did you find me?" Birkoll asked. "I have my ways. You are a one interesting man. If you worked for the Empire, I would have admired you." "I won't work for your corrupted government. You imperials took away everything. You destroyed our allies, our home, and our pride. Your Emperor is the reason why the galaxy is doomed in the first place. Your time ends here." Strett said. "I don't think so, whoever you think you're talking to, that woman doesn't exist. I am a new version of me. A version you will no longer see." "Your Empire is doomed! Your visions are flawed. You cannot take over a big galaxy, no one can. The Republic couldn't, the Confederacy of Independent Systems couldn't, even the Trade Federation couldn't take over a single planet. What makes you think your Empire will take over the entire galaxy?" Birkoll said. "We have an emperor, our trusted leader. We have a grand vizier, brilliantly minded grand admirals, we have a large fleet, bigger than both the Separatists and the Republic. Something you cannot handle." Kougla said. "You cannot keep the galaxy in control. The Empire will be gone, all will be lost to you." Birkoll passionately said. "Is that so? Execute him!" Kougla said. "You won-'' All Stormtroopers and Death Troopers fired their blasters at Birkoll Strett. Strett had blaster burns all over his body, which gave him a quick death. After Strett died, Kougla ran away and went back to her shuttle. The battle was over, thus giving the Empire an easy victory.

Ten minutes later, Grand Admiral Kougla went back to the Star Destroyer to report her victory to her friends. She went to the bridge where all the officers were saluting her, including Kanpoll and Arvo. "At ease, men." Kougla said. Everyone stopped saluting and went back to work. "Congratulations on winning the battle, Grand Admiral." Kanpoll said. "Thank you, Admiral Kanpoll. It feels good to have such a victory." Kougla said. The Star Destroyer jumped to hyperspace and headed towards the Coruscant System.

Two days later, Commander Arvo was in his room relaxing. He had nothing to do today since he knew that Strett's rebels were all gone. He was smiling, thinking how powerful the Empire is. To him, the Empire is everything he hoped to accomplish. There was a silver protocol droid with red eyes. Behind the droid was a corpse of a Death Trooper lying on the ground. Arvo moved his head to the left only to see a gray empty wall. The protocol droid entered the room and alerted Arvo. Arvo sat up and looked at the droid in confusion. "Can I help you?" Arvo asked. "Tolta." the droid said. The Imperial Protocol droid drew out a blaster and shot Arvo in the chest. Commander Dellet Arvo fell on his back and died.

HopeKook Dynamics

I absolutely adore this dynamic and these 2! Our Golden Duo, dance line, vocal line, rap line kings! They are amazing and literally can do it all! They are one of the touchiest and cuddliest duos and they love each other so much. Jungkook is absolutely Hobi's baby and Hobi loves to baby him! And at the same time Jungkook is also Hobi's protector. Lmao I do not see anything romantic between them even a little bit. I see a very caring and loving platonic bond between the two of them that creates a safe place for them both to just be. I see chaos and love in everything they do, but not a romantic bond. These 2 might be in my top 5 duos, I don't know. They are so precious together!

Hopekook have minimal physical boundaries too. I say this for every post but it will never stop being true. It's especially true for these two who both express and recieve love often through physical touch. Legit one of our cuddliest duos! We can see their physical bond in moments where JK just wraps Jhope up in the biggest hug, or lays down on top of him, or when they share a bed for the night and the snuggles are adorable. We see it in the way JK loves snuggling into Jhopes hair or neck or snuggling into his arms because he is cozy there and because Hobi smells good and JK is sensitive to smells. The constant ass smacks. From both of them. And how they are totally unfazed every time. Just use each other like a drum, I swear. The piggyback rides JK gives him and how Hobi looks tiny on his back, normally swinging his legs around like a kid. Lol we see it in the way that if they are walking next to each other, they will often end up holding hands super sweetly. We see it in their backhugs and the way JK just uses him as a human pillow if they are sitting next to each other or just drapes himself over his Hobi hyung. We see it in the way Hobi is always dropping kisses all over JK, just whichever body part he can reach. Kissing and hugging aggressively is how Hobi shows love. Hobi's chokehold kisses. You WILL be kissed JK. Lol Jungkook IS Hobi's baby for sure. It's painfully adorable.

We see their bond in the way that Jungkook is Hobi's baby, but he is also his Hobi hyung's protector. Lmao we see it in the way that when Hobi get startled he immediately jumps practically behind Kookie. He knows where he will be safe. Lol the way he curls into JK begging him to get rid of bugs for him, or telling him to go beat Yoongi's high score on games for him after Suga teases him over it. How when they go new places Hobi always asks "you'll protect me right?" And Jungkook's response is always "Of Course, Hyung." He always jumps right up to help. That's his bestie hyung yall, his "best bro." And for Hobi, JK is his "big, heavy doll" 🥰 they love each other alot, okay? Seriously, they are just always snuggling and cuddling and touching each other whenever they get the chance!

Their emotional connection and bond is beautiful too. We see in the way that one can't see the other cry without it making them cry too. We see it in the way they constantly cheer for each other, through rehearsals or during their solo projects. Like how JK stayed home for the most part during their 2019 breaks and so did Hobi, expect for when he was in LA for CNS and so JK video called him while he was there alone so he wouldn't feel lonely and showing up to their MV sets for support when they can! The way they have so many cute little friend dates together too. Picnics, dinner dates, late night jam sessions. The way they just constantly hung out and had so much fun together during ITS no matter what what were doing makes me so soft. Similar to how they often talk about how during breaks and vacations the only members they see are each other and Jimin. How Jungkook often spent a lot of time hanging out in or sleeping in Jhope and Jimins room at the dorm as well too. It's the way they are constantly looking for ways to make the other person laugh. Their sense of humor is very similar and they goof off together endlessly. The way they joke around together is precious. Always hoping in on the joke and never letting the other person act silly alone.

We see their emotional bond in the way they are aware of and even feed off each other's emotions. Like when Hobi said "Jungkook's really happy today. I'm happy just seeing Jungkook smile." And I MELTED. We see it in the way they lean on each other like when practicing new dances or practicing how to say things in a new language. Seeing Hopekook practice French together just to nail it later on stage and smile hugely, was one of the cutest things ever. We see it in the opposite, when everyone acknowledges that if Kookie cries, Hobi will cry and if those 2 are crying, everyone is going to start crying. We see it in the way that JK told Hobi he was falling for him whenever he first saw the CNS music video because he was so amazing in it. Same, JK, SAME. Whew!

And we can't talk about their emotional bond together without all of us crying over how JK helped convince Jhope to stay in the group when he was going to leave. When J-hope decided that he maybe wasn't cut out for all this and it was too hard and he was really truly struggling and came to the hard decision to leave the group, everyone was teary and upset. Everyone was trying to make him stay, but he said he was leaving until JK came running and hugged him. That they sat there hugging and crying together and how JK didn't want him to go. Combined with Namjoon telling him and the company both how much the group needed Hobi to succeed, they convinced him to stay. But where we be if JK hadn't gotten him to stay with them?! I don't even want to consider it. The way he stayed for JK, for all of them, putting his trust and faith and love back into them. It always makes me wanna cry. And that energy is always returned. Hobi is always willing to be there for JK when he is upset, always willing to give advice to him over life and over dance. Always watching out for him and pushing him to take better care of himself too. Helping pick him up when he is down. Always there for each other 🥰

And let's not forget to mention the amount of trust and respect they share for each other as artists, allowing for them to work together in some of the most mind blowing of ways. They harmonize together in the best way, and half the time it's not planned, they just decide on the spot to do it. Like their harmonizing during the Tiny Desk performance, Hope legit asked JK right before they performed to sing it together with him and it was STUNNING??! Not to mention the way they dance together too! Incredible, amazing, powerful, stunning, how many adjectives can I use?! There isn't enough! Seriously. They are THE GOLDEN DUO. Perfect at everything individually and explosive when they perform together. Main Vocal, Lead Dancer, Sub Rapper + Main Dancer, Lead Rapper, Sub Vocal = Legendary. Legit there is nothing these 2 cannot do.

No, I don't see anything romantic here. I see a deep platonic love, a comforting presence and an attachment to someone you care for and feel safe being around and knowing that you are with someone who will have your back no matter what. Someone you can laugh with and tease and lean on and trust to catch you when you fall. Someone who you can trust all your secrets to and also bicker with and tease over all those secrets and inside jokes. Someone you can complain too and someone you can learn from. This dynamic goes both directions for them. I love it so much. There is no romance or anything that even comes close to romance that I see. There is just love, affection, comfort and closeness. It's beautiful to get to see their incredible friendship over the years. I love how J-hope claims JK as his baby 100% but is also comfortable and safe enough to know that his big maknae will protect him from anything, especially bugs. Lmao

Reader notes: This is my favorite hopekook fic ever! I think every hopekook enthusiast has read this but I don’t think it’s talked about as much as it should be. Although this fic does follow the usual trope of dancers Hoseok and Jungkook, I would not consider this boring or stereotypical. The writer seems to have been a profession dancer themselves because the way they use dancer terminology with poise and flavor to create romantic undertones between Hoseok and Jungkook makes me want to know more about dance. The slow burn of hopekook getting to know each other through their dance and their cute bickering makes me want to fall in love slowly like them. Who would ever wish for a slow pining? I think exfatamorgana is an expert at making people desire it. I just think it’s so perfect and their dynamic in the fic is absolutely so endearing. They build their love around their shared passion and create something so beautiful. I really think this fic should be read by everyone, even people who don’t ship hopekook.
