— Wasn’t it the right one? — Quinn’s uncertainty is clear in her tone, a slight hesitation that makes Eddie look at her with even more tenderness.

He takes a deep breath and, in a swift motion, pulls her into his arms. She wasn’t expecting it, but she doesn’t resist the affectionate gesture. Seeing her boyfriend so happy...

— It’s exactly what I needed. It’s always been my passion, I used to collect them, and you made it happen. — Eddie’s voice is thick with gratitude. His face is glowing with happiness, but he still seems unable to fully process what’s in front of him.

Quinn watches, a bit surprised, as he carefully takes the gift and places it away with the utmost care, as if it were too precious to be left out.

— I was going to give it to you on your birthday, but I lost the courage. That time in the dressing room... — Quinn reveals with a sigh.

Looking at her, for a moment, the world seems to fade away, and he feels himself rising from the ashes. He gazes at Quinn with a deep, love-filled look and then speaks sincerely.

— I’ll keep this close, right where I can see it. — He places the gift inside the wardrobe near the dresser.

When he turns back, his eyes remain fixed on Quinn, as if she were the reason for everything. And she was—his everything.

— I love you. Come here? — He opens his arms, inviting her, but the tenderness in his voice shows just how special this moment is for him.

Quinn, with a shy smile, cautiously steps closer.

She still doesn’t quite know how to react to Eddie’s warmth, but he always has a way of making her feel safe, like the rest of the world disappears.

— Hm, Eddie? — she asks, uncertain but also hopeful.

Eddie smiles, and with a soft chuckle, pulls her even closer. His fingers graze her face with a surprising gentleness for someone like him—someone who never melts like butter or turns soft like clay.

— This… this means more than anything. I love you, I love you... — he murmurs, his face close to hers, his lips almost touching Quinn’s skin as he speaks.

My favorite part about being obsessed with something is that you start looking for it everywhere. Especially in media that shares actors with the thing you’re obsessed with.

So thanks to the idea from one feralheartedalien here on tumblr and my current watching of A Quiet Place: Day One, I’m suddenly being roped into the Steddie Alternate Universe with Eric and Keys.

------ Minor "A Quiet Place: Day One" Spoilers after this point ------

Haven’t watched Free Guy in a while, but the dynamic is kinda sticking with me. Struggling, emotionally repressed, desperate, foreign exchange law student Eric, coming to the States for school due to parental pressure (can’t have a Steddie-like ship without some shitty parents). Redeemed bully, people pleaser, hopeless romantic, lonely Keys, trying to make something out of his love for programming and design while under his repressive boss (can’t have a Steddie-like ship without some doomed ambition).

Maybe next floor neighbors, Eric living right above Keys. He comes back to his basically empty apartment after school every day exhausted, collapsing on the carpet in his living room at 2am, lulled to sleep by the soft, muffled music in the place beneath him. Meanwhile, Keys only plays his "falling asleep" music when he's home, in hopes to calm the person above him, who has a habit of frequent pacing, self monologues, and unfortunately, breakdowns.

Maybe Eric just has a shit day at school one day; stressful projects, lack of progress in his studying, sleep deprived, and it’s absolutely fucking pouring on his way back home. Maybe Keys has accidentally memorized his neighbor’s schedule, accidentally began to care, and noticed how late it is. Maybe their floors are different but the rooms are the same, so when Eric pushes the wrong floor on the elevator, he ends up at Keys’s room. Breaks down when his key doesn’t work, falls to his knees in the hallway muffling sobs. Barely reacts when Keys opens his door because he’s so tired and cold and numb. Weakly tries to fight Keys’s attempts at help but nearly faints in this stranger’s arms. Eric finally lets himself be helped, loses himself in Keys’s thick blankets and soft music and well meaning rambling and killer hot chocolate-

Maybe that’s when Eric realizes how much this man has saved his life, and vows to return the favor.

I might be a hellcheer myself, but trust me hellcheers, that does NOT mean you are safe from this either whatsoever.

I dont know about you guys, but I am sick and tired of all the toxicity all of us are spreading. Actually, not all of us. There are people in each of these groups (except those of you who attack grace online, I have a message for you later) who are amazing and kind and genuine pleasures to talk to and be around. I'd like to think that I'm one of them, but I'm not going to make that decision. But back to the earlier topic: there are good people in these fandoms/groups. Which brings us to my first point. We need to stop assuming the worst of each other. There are so many stereotypes of each of us, and usually they are just based off of the actions of a few people in the fandom. Example: one person who ships blahblahblah is racist/homophobic/etc, and now the people who ship lalala think all people who ship blahblahblah are racist/homophobic/etc. Now I'm not saying there arent bad people who just say genuinely terrible things in all of these fandoms. Fellow hellcheers directly, specifically the ones doing these things (you probably know who you are), you make me embarrassed to be in the fandom. Honestly. It doesnt matter who said what first or what someone's opinion is, dont be like that, period. This applies to everyone, I just wanted my fellow hellcheers to know that they arent entirely innocent either. No one is. Unless you are one of those genuinely nice people. If you are, I love you guys, no matter which ship you like. But seriously, we can all be better. We are all probably about 14 and older. We're practically adults, almost. We should act like ones. The way you SHOULD talk about an opinion in ships is with respect for the other person's opinion. It's supposed to be sharing points of view, not telling people they are crazy or weird or homophobic or racist or anything else like that if they like something you dont. If we cant act like adults, I think our best option is to simply ignore each other. Get out of each others tags for good. Stop looking for fights. To sum this first argument up, respect each others opinions, act like adults, dont assume something about someone based on what a minority (or even if it is a majority, it doesnt matter) said or did. If we cant do that, we just ignore each other. Leave each other alone. Thank you.

I'm new-ish to writing (i used to write fanfiction when i was like 13. i'm 19 now and write very rarely) but I really wanna do it again.

So this is a list of characters/fandoms I write for as well as some rules for asks. Some things may be missing from this list so if you dont see something on this list, feel free to ask. :))

Do add as much detail as you want to a request and please ALWAYS have at least some sort of prompt, as i'm really not good with coming up with storys on my own yet.
