A: Of the fanfic you’ve written, which is your favorite and why?

Out of all the Fanfic I've ever written? Definately the ShinMonsterverse. Which was less a 'written' fanfic and more a journey with the Godzilla fandom, exploring weird Kaiju Designs and creating art.

The story was ludicurous, did not make sense in the slightest but it was collective and it ended with a collabration with the closest friends I have in that fandom. I'll always remember it fondly, even of the Godzilla famdom do be kinda wack at times.

As for ttte fanfic, I'd go with either Mallard, the short story or Green with Envy. Green with Envy was were I started to improve in my actual writing. I paid more attention to making the doalogue flow better, stopped using 'said' and generally put more effort into actual writing. I planmed it out more whereas Young Iron (the story) was me makong shit up on the go, never once expecting to turn into a series.

Mallard is just a cute story and I wish I had written it earlier because I probably would have set Mallard up a lot better in the the main story, knowing his actual charcter better.

AKA The Flying Scotsman has enough of these tiny squishy creatures slowing it down and getting in it’s way. So y'know, don't do that and unless you wanna get 'scrapped' by an angry eldritch ghost train. 💖 But otherwise they're a pretty chill engine.

I’m not good at drawing engines or trains 🚂 but I did try.

ゴジラ Legendary Godzilla | Gojira (Infant) [Prince of the Monsters]

"Is that, is that an infant Gojira?"

"Mosura found an egg in a deep cavern, the mother's skeleton curled around it. She gave the cold egg warmth and life and from it hatched the young King, ward of Yoroi Gojira. Yoroi Gojira says that the infant will be strong and fierce, even more so than he."

~~~ In 1995 a young Serizawa first encountered the Titan Mosura and her twin fairies, the Shobijin, on Infant Island. While there he came across an infant Titanus Gojira, one with blueish-grey scales, a crocodilian-like body and a noble regal face. The twins explained that the young Godzilla had been found as an egg, his mother's skeleton curled around him after having died from starvation. Mothra took the egg and resurrected it, the small Godzilla curious and already very intelligent.

Although seemingly of a different species to the current Kaiju King, Yoroi Goji, they both share a common ancestor and the Yoroi Gojira adopted the young titan after some persuading from Mothra. other Kaiju, Anguirus, Mothra and Gamera often help look after him if Yoroi is off defending territory or hunting. Ishiro Serizawa was the first human to ever have contact with the infant and has since shared a deep bond with the young King despite YoroiGoji's apathy towards humans.

Monarch nicknamed the young Titan "Legendary" as he was born millions of years after his species went extinct.

Attributes:

Resilient

Strong will

Intelligent and clever

Regenerative healing

Communicates by activating the glow in his plates

Absorbs radiation like a little scaley sponge making irradiated areas safe and soil fertile.

Tries to do an atomic breath but it doesn't work half the time.

Adorable

Due to his infancy, Godzilla’s scales are soft and he is vulnerable

Personality:

Very inquisitive but not naive

Good at problem-solving, noted to be very clever and a fast learner

Bonded with Mothra, sees her as a motherly figure. This bond transcends to each Mothra generation.

Yoroi Gojira sees him as a successor, he is firm but fair with Legendary, teaching him and acting as a true guardian to him.

Met Serizawa, who was the first human he ever saw and formed a bond with.

Somewhat of a trickster, will harmlessly tease or toy with those close to him.

YoroiGoji's sense of balance has been imprinted upon the young prince.

ジェットジャガー Jet Jaguar | Jetto Jagā [Size Changing Robot with a kickass theme song]

“It appears that Jet will be receiving a baptism of fire. I hope that you’re up to the task my metallic friend. Go and tell Shin Gojira how we say hello on this planet.”

After the events in 2016 of Shin Gojira’s raid on Japan, a coalition of nations including Germany, America, Britain, China, Australia and Japan lent there resources for a contingency plan outside Monarch and the UN’s jurisdiction. In a secret facility located in the unforgiving Australia desert near Uluru, Goro Ibuki’s size changing technology discovered in 2009 was finally put to use in Project Jaguar. Although the project was started in 2018, the project was fast tracked in 2019 after Biollante’s appearance in the Amazon rainforest.

With Monarch’s Antarctic Outpost 32 suddenly overrun with Shin Gojira’s mutant army and Shin Gojira in complete control of the MechaGodzilla Kiryu, all of Monarch’s Outposts went into lockdown as Shin used Kiryu to transmit a global jamming signal, now unable to respond to the threat causing Project Jaguar to be prematurely launched. With Yoroi Godzilla already moving to intercept Shin Gojira, Mothra, Anguirus and Rodan close behind, Jet Jaguar made his way South to assist the Titans against the Mutant King.

Having already engaged Yoroi Godzilla and blasted some his armour plates off and ripped a hole in the opposing King’s neck, severely incapacitating the Titan King, Shin Gojira was ready to kill the downed King near the city of Melbourne. The Stealth Bombers distracted the monstrous ShinGoji Kiryu as Jet Jaguar ambushed the half mech Godzilla from beneath his feet. It allowed Yoroi to heal his neck wounds however with his plates knocked off, Yoroi had become vulnerable and prone to attack from Krystalaks and Shin Gojians.

Jet managed to counter the now literal iron grip of Shin Godzilla however Kiryu's targeting system allowed Shin to target weaknesses in Jet's body and allowed Shin Godzilla to violently attack and pummel the robot mercilessly until it's right arm was ripped off and it's size changing module was destroyed.

This did not stop Jet Jaguar however, as he continued to fight on despite his handicap, somewhat impressing Shin Godzilla with his tenacity.

Attributes:

Can strategize and adapt to situations

Made of a heat resistant alloy, able to withstand Godzilla’s atomic breath and strength

Inbuilt speakers, so he can his theme for a dramatic entrance

Stronger when not in larger forms, the smaller he is the more dense and durable

Unlike most current technology, will not fail in extreme radioactive areas making him useful for nuclear meltdowns.

Can Punch, Punch, Punch!

Some say he eats sushi from a pail but that is blatantly something lost in translation. 

Personality:

Has a can do attitude

Positive and extremely friendly to anyone that isn’t Shin Gojira

Friend to children

Also a friend to Gamera

Yoroi tolerates him however Legendary Godzilla considers the robot a close friend.

Rodan also likes him which is odd considering Rodan doesn’t like anyone except himself.

One of the few robots that Dr Serizawa likes

Basically everyone loves him. Except ShinGoji, but ShinGoji is an asshole.

Megalon isn’t too fond of him either.

シン•モスラ | Shin Mosura

[Divine Guardian Moth]

“Mothra does not wish harm your people, however she wishes to tell you that Gojira intends to wipe this world clean of the one you call Shin Gojira for fear it will overrun this planet. And he will not cease until every atom of its existence is gone!”

Despite the Kiryu Mecha being moved from Japan to a remote Monarch outpost in Antarctica, the Second Godzilla still moved to attack Japan, infuriating the Government. Monarch promptly warned Japan that a second Kaiju was rapidly moving to intercept Gojira. Mothra, in Larva form, confronted Godzilla in an attempt to stop him from doing more damage however he injured her during a brief fight and Godzilla persisted, eventually making his way to a secret bunker which held remains of Shin Godzilla. The remains had regenerated to the point that they had become sentient and was influencing the scientists. It was uncovered that rogue scientists had gotten their hands on the remains and were promptly trying to study them and create biological weapons. Godzilla destroyed the entire bunker, rouge scientists included, before retreating.  The Shobijin relayed that Mothra would be happy to act as a go between for humans and Kaiju as she had for Monarch in the past. Prime Minister Yaguchi accepts the offer. The frequency of the purple auroras become unnatural almost intentional, concerning astronomers as radiation of an unknown kind spikes over the poles. This radiation causes the Kiryu MechaGodzilla in Antarctica to briefly go haywire, it's eyes turning red and killing several workers in the freak accident. Despite growing concerns, Operation Kiryu still continues under the authority of Dr Mafune.

Shield like scales

Telepathy and Telekinesis

Illusion. Her spores can create hallucinations in opponents.

Blinding aura. Emits light to blind and confuse opponents.

Larva form has more powerful shields and can shoot a web like substance which hardens and can freeze attackers.

Air superiority and surprising speed.

Highly intelligent, protector of Earth and all creatures.

Centipede like stingers. These are venomous and can paralyse opponents with nervous systems.

Front four legs are bladed and barbed. can penetrate gaps in armour and deliver painful shocks.

Fluffy.

Personality:

Has a mutual respect with YoroiGoji, knowing he only seeks to protect Earth.

Seeks diplomacy with humans, knowing they are intelligent unlike YoroiGoi who sees them nothing more than insects. Important to the ecosystem but otherwise trivial to him.

A very benevolent creature in most cases, convinced Yoroi Gojira to foster an infant creature that bears a striking similarity to himself. Is protective in nature and despite their differences, treats Godzilla as an equal in authority.

Only really shows anger to those who harm or insult her fairies, the Shobijin, whom reside with her on Infant Island. It was on an expedition to the elusive island, that Dr Serizawa met and gained favour with Mothra after saving the fairies from a creature she called Gorosaurus.

シン•ビオランテ Shin Biollante  [Queen of Thorns]

“It's Shin Gojira! That damn creature is back!”

“No, this is different, this is, it's some kind of plant! But fused with Shin Godzilla's flesh, if we don't stop it, it's going to over run the entire Amazon Rainforest!”

Possibly the most powerful and horrific creation of Shin Gojira, Shin Biollante was the result of Shin Gojira's Crystal-Space form splitting in two. The split left Shin Gojira's body a shadow of its former self, the enormous nuclear reactor in its stomach taken by Biollante along with the vast majority of its mass, leaving him smaller than his fourth form and severally crippled, relying on Krystalak power cores to stabilise his power until adapting. Despite this, Biollante was loyal to her parent and under his orders, blasted open a portal to the Amazon Rainforest to wreak havoc and draw attention away from the Monarch Base in Antarctica so Shin Gojira could enact his plan to take control of the Kiryu MechaGodzilla as a new host for its body.

Biollante was soon confronted by a huge contingency of Monarch and UN forces who desperately attempted to fight her. Attempts were made to burn down the forest however that only made the Bio monster furious due to the intense pain it caused, causing her to lash out and wipe out 90% of the human forces by releasing toxic spores which cocooned them into energy sources for herself or by melting their flesh and bones with her acidic sap. Rodan and Baragon appeared to fight her, causing her to spare the remaining humans including Dr Vivienne Graham and her pilot, Akane Yashiro.

Baragon and Rodan fought against the Bio Monster viciously, however Biollante proved to be an immensely powerful and lethal foe, grievously impaling Baragon before almost killing him by strangling him with her vines. Rodan stepped in and saved the guardian beast before proceeding to attack her nuclear core which he noticed she was protecting. Noticing this, he proceeded to fire a super charged Uranium Heat Ray beam into her core, causing her to implode and threatening to inflict a disaster with the fall out of the explosion. Rodan however caused a massive tornado which allowed the explosion and the fallout to dissipate upwards rather than across the rainforest.

Dr Graham returns to Japan, reporting on the incident and requesting that Project Jaguar is giving full priority. She grows concerned that there is no word from Serizawa. Serizawa tries to communicate with the Shin Gojiran, Adam, whose dorsal plates glow purple and declares: “Do as you will. I am.”

Can generate Black Holes however this drains power

Lacks the psychic powers of her parent

Can assimilate any organic living being and add it to her mass or use it as energy

Biollante cannot control the Gojirans or Krystalaks however Shin Gojira has no issues with her eating her own siblings.

Can plant tentacles to into the ground to mimic trees and plants to trap creature to use as energy sources.

Toxic spores and pollen

Possibly the only life form Shin Gojira saw as family or at least a companion. Shin Gojira is notably distressed after her death acting more erratically and violently.

Biollante is protective of Shin Gojira and has an undying loyalty to her parent. This will not stop her voicing doubts about his plans though.

シン•ラドン SHIN RODAN | Shin Radon [The One Born of Fire]

“The King of Monsters appears to be awakening his ancient allies, Mothra and Anguirus, now Rodan from the bowels of Mt Calbuco. Makes you wonder, is Godzilla is preparing for something big?”

After Godzilla and Anguirus arrived at the foot of Mount Calbuco in Chile, it erupted in an explosive display and an enormous Kaiju, known as Rodan, emerged from the depths of the volcano and seemed to argue with the others before attacking Godzilla who thoroughly beat him after short battle. The enormous winged Kaiju then turned and fled, flying North while Godzilla and Anguirus went back to the ocean, Anguirus heading towards the North Pacific and Gojira heading to Antarctica. Rodan is seen in the Amazon rainforest after Monarch reports a large disturbance of radiation in the area. Natives to the rainforest have described ‘demon plants’ starting to invade the forests. Monarch Sciences sends Vivian Graham to investigate the reports despite her protests to join Dr Serizawa in Antarctica.

Arriving at Monarch Sciences Antarctica Base, Dr Serizawa demands answers regarding the incident with the crystal creatures and Kiryu's premature activation. He is horrified to learn that Shin Gojira's flesh has almost taken over Kiryu's metal body and that Dr Shinji Mufune appears to be under the influence of something and is holding the base hostage. Dr Mufune warns him that Shin Gojira's newest and most powerful child will deal with the scientists in the Amazon before introducing him to the 15 metre tall Gojiran who has been named: Adam.

Uranium Heat Ray

Fast flight, not as fast or maneuverable as Mothra but makes up for it with overpowered offenses.

Can fight on the ground however notably weaker

Lives in a volcano

Can create small storms

Like deserts and sand

Personality:

Impulsive, makes quick decisions he often regrets. Like taking on opponents who are larger, more powerful and will ruin his day.

Angry

Arrogant however Yoroi Goji often puts him in his place.

Can be quite selfish at times.

One of Yoroi Goji's oldest friends along with Anguirus. If they were human, all three  would be drinking buddies.

シン•バラゴン Shin Baragon [Guardian of the Earth]

“He’s one of the few Kaiju that we’ve had reports of actively seeking to protect humans of it’s own accord. If the Hollow Earth theory might be correct, Baragon could be the link between the surface world and the subterranean realm.”

The great Kaiju Rodan flew North from Mount Calbuco towards the Amazon after his brief fight with Godzilla and Anguirus catching sight of Baragon and Monarch scientists nearby investigating strange spores near the edge of the amazon rainforest which had sprouted an invasive plant like species never seen before. Aggressive and acting more like a rabid animal, these rose vine like plants tore up and destroyed a large portion of the native flora and fauna.

Dr Vivienne Graham, leader of the Monarch Sciences team, studied samples of this strange new species of aggressive of plant and was horrified to find an exact match to the genetic code of Shin Gojira in them. Immediately after reporting this, Monarch Sciences alerted the UN which immediately sent in an envoy to eradicate all traces of the plant. Operation Jaguar is given priority at this news.

Although the humans had a good relationship with Baragon, who had been known for centuries to be a benevolent and helpful Kaiju, concerns lay with Rodan's motives as he accompanied Baragon. The envoy proceeded with caution as Baragon and Rodan encountered and fought the huge 75 metre tall Rose Kaiju that had formed from Shin Gojira's cells. The fight, was barely a fight at all, the enormous Rose monster only lashing out at the two other Kaiju with vines and spitting radioactive sap before burrowing its roots into the ground and travelling deeper into the rainforest, Rodan and Baragon immediately following the beasts trail, human forces also in pursuit, all with one common goal.

Height: 25m

Attributes :

Orange Heat Ray

Burrowing. Can dig a mean tunnel.

Armoured. Not as heavily as Anguirus or Godzilla but can take a hit.

Can Jump Good.

One of the smaller Kaiju, but always tries his best.

Useless against flighted enemies. Mothra could easily beat him in a fight. Not that Mothra would ever want to hurt a kind tempered creature.

Personality:

Likes humans. Has been known to defend them in the past.

Will fight anyone to protect the Earth, even if he has no chance of winning.

Kind hearted, but fierce and committed.

One of the few Kaiju that interact positively with humans, unless attacked or provoked by them.

Good friends with Mothra and Anguirus.

Godzilla acknowledges his existence once. Thinks Rodan is a dick.

Does his very best.
