So, last night, 6 of my UB kids, my cousin @beingflow (who I had the pleasure of spending the evening with as well! - thanks for letting me take Tasha’s place! 😍) and I attended @gabunion book tour event at the @stlouiscountylibrary where Gabrielle Union talked about issues of race, workplace conflict, celebrities, family, trauma and more! . I’m so honored that the students were able to attend. It really was a pleasant event. She was so open and honest about her life, about her ugly truth and that is always appreciated. The whole car ride back the girls were talking about how excited they were to read her book and how approachable she was and whatnot. I’m excited to hear their thoughts on the book.
