Tomorrow is the day we go to the not-grand Canyon, which means a 4 hour bus trip starting at 4:50 AM.

This I have been looking forward to more than anything else since I can read Flashman, watch Shingetsutan Tsukihime and look out the window, since I don't have to sit being attentive and polite in a conversation I literally cannot understand.

The Tsukihime anime is in fact such a bad adaptation the fans pretend it never happened, which will be my approach for remembrance of the Vegas trip.

False: a long-ass time ago some people I knew put on a watchparty of all the anime adaptations of Type-Moon media and I watched like the first three episodes or so of Shingetsutan with them before falling off because it was the worst thing a Tsukihime anime could be: namely, boring as shit.

me 15 years ago after watching Shingetsutan Tsukihime the anime that doesn't exist and encountering Kara no Kyoukai on MyAnimeList's "related anime" section and learning that the main character is also named Shiki and is a woman:

Kara no Kyoukai works because Nasu wrote it with the understanding that Shiki Ryougi is the coolest woman ever. if there was any doubt or uncertainty in that principle, the entire thing would fall apart
