#oh hey i was literally just in the game that both of these are from#flapwoods (the one on the right) is a neat design and i voted for it#but i have also been seeing it a *lot* more#on account of the other one (charlequin) being a DLC mon#the game is cassette beasts and it is currently on sale#essentially its core gimmick is that (1) type advantages give *status effects* rather than just being a flat damage modifier#and (2) you're always in a double battle and you can fuse with your partner mid-fight to get better stats but a reduced action economy#another thing unique about it is that any monster can appear in any type (though they usually have different learnsets)#it's pretty fun go check it out

I love how Hibiki handles her symphogear so roughly. Straight up breaking off the heels to get a better stance. Punching with her armed gear energy instead of summoning it. And now in ep9 pulling back the thing on her gauntlet to punch even harder. She's forcing it to fit her fighting style. And I think that's very fitting for a character who's meant to be unwavering with her ideals.

it does still make me insane specifically how many queer people lovingly embrace astrology. I went to a poetry workshop yesterday that was genuinely quite good but also included an option to disclose astrology designations during introductions and so many people broke out some variation of "I'm a [x] sum but I have a [y] placement and it SHOWS" girl no it doesn't. that's meaningless correlation you completely invented the causation
