Sing a Bit of Harmony Trailer

Funimation has released a trailer for its first co-produced original film Sing a Bit of Harmony. J.C. Staff is handling animation production.

Sing a Bit of Harmony hails from Yasuhiro Yoshiura and tells of a transfer student whose song will bring happiness to her classmates. Ichiro Ohkouchi joins Yoshiura as co-screenwriter. Kanna Kii serves as character designer and Hidekazu Shimamura serves as animation director. 

Sing a Bit of Happiness releases in Japan in 2021 and in the U.S. and Canada at a later date.

Ai no Utagoe wo Kikasete Anime Film's Full Trailer Reveals Mysterious Transfer Student Shion's True Identity

    The official website for the upcoming original anime film Ai no Utagoe wo Kikasete (Sing a Bit of Harmony) has posted a 60-second full trailer introducing to announce its release date of October 29, 2021.

  In this new clip, it is revealed that the mysterious transfer student voiced by Tao Tsuchiya, Shion, is an AI under test. Shion, who came for Satomi, who has been all alone, is a little clumsy, but cheerful and innocent, and Satomi and her classmates quickly begin to feel "happiness" with her. One day, however, the company that developed Shion retrieves her, and Satomi and her classmates struggle to see her again.

      Synopsis:

  One day, Shion transfers to Kagebe City High School. On her first day at the new school, she suddenly started to sing like a musical in front of Satomi, who is isolated in class, saying "I'll make you happy!" Shion's excellent grades, athletic ability, and cheerfulness make her a popular girl in the class. Even though Satomi asks her not to sing, Shion sings without hesitation, and her unexpected behavior causes a big commotion among her classmates.

The official website for Bakumatsu, the television anime of its Renai Bakumatsu Kareshi smartphone game, has revealed that the season is titled Bakumatsu Crisis, and that it will premiered on Japanese television on April 5, 2019.

Mitsutoshi Satō is replacing Masaki Watanabe to direct the second season at Studio DEEN. Masahiro Yokotani is again handling series composition, and Hidekazu Shimamura…

Enjoy the Songs of 'Sing a Bit of Harmony' Anime Film in New Long Trailer

  While the Sing a Bit of Harmony anime film is currently in theaters in Japan, and is soon to be released in English-speaking countries in early 2022 from Funimation, the Yasuhiro Yoshiura-directed feature released a brand new "long" trailer today featuring two of the songs sung by Tao Tsuchiya, who voices Shion Ashimori in the film.

    Joining Yasuhiro Yoshiura at J.C. Staff is Ichirou Ohkouchi (Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress) as the co-scriptwriter, Kanna Kii (Étranger de la plage original creator) drawing the original character designs, and Hidekazu Shimamura (Yu Yu Hakusho) as the animation director.

  Funimation is co-producing Sing a Bit of Harmony and will be releasing the film in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand in early 2022. Funimation says the film "follows android student Shion after she transfers to Keibu High School to test her abilities, complete with an open-hearted personality and exceptional athletic skills."

    Sing a Bit of Harmony opened in Japan on October 29.

Ex-Takarazuka Star Miyu Sakihi Voices Moon Princess in Ai no Utagoe wo Kikasete Anime Film

    It is announced today that 30-year-old ex-Takarazuka star Miyu Sakihi makes a guest voice appearance in the upcoming original anime film Ai no Utagoe wo Kikasete (Sing a Bit of Harmony).

  Sakihi entered the Takarazuka Revue as a 96th student in 2010, then became the top musumeyaku (the actresses in female roles) in September 2014. After leaving Takarazuka in 2017, she has expanded her activities to include musicals, recitation plays, TV dramas, movies, and CD releases. This is her first anime voice acting work.

  Sakihi voices Moon in the in-story anime Moon Princess, who has been the protagonist Satomi's idol since she was a child, and is the key character in the story. She also sings an insert song "Feel The Moonlight ~Ai no Utagoe wo Kikasete," which will be included in the film's soundtrack. She says, "I never thought that I would be able to work on an anime film, so I was very happy," and "It was a strange feeling, I was thrilled to hear a voice that sounded like me, even though it was a character with a completely different visual than mine. My impressions clearly tell you that I'm a newcomer (laughs). It gave me a new dream that one day I'd like to speak the dialogue as well!"
