One of my lucky followers who happens to be both a frog lover and another big animal guy enthusiast has been into the whole Shima Spain Village kick recently, so I had the secret pleasure of surprising him with a Rana cosplay in my red eyed tree frog form. That's how I plan to start summer off right with that! :)

There will be a part3 within the next 3-5 weeks! My estimate is that we’ll get answers from Kaji and Tsugeura first after this? Hopefully Tsubaki soon as well!♡
Official Q&A hosted here!
1.) What would you spend 500 yen on?
Umemiya: “I think I’ll restock on candy!”
Kiryu: “My eyes are tired from playing games too much, so I think I'll buy a hot eye mask~.”
Choji: “I’d buy lots of sweets!”
Togame: “Maybe I should put it in my piggy bank.” (I was definitely expecting him to say a bottle of ramune lol)
Sako: “Save it for school food.”
2.) If you were to travel in Japan, where would you like to go?
Umemiya: “I want to go to all the places I’ve never been before!”
Kiryu: “Shima Spain Village. That’s where I’d want to go~.”
Choji: “Mount Fuji! Climb the highest mountain!”
Togame: “I’d like to visit somewhere famous for their hot springs.”
Sako: “I went on a tour in Kyoto.”
3.) What is your favorite seasoning?
Umemiya: “I prefer sauce with my fried eggs!” (what sauce though…?)
Kiryu: “I love the refined taste of wasanbon~.”
Choji: “Ketchup! Because it’s sweet and salty!”
Togame: “Vinegar and pepper. That’s how I like to eat my gyoza.”
Sako: “Sugar.”

Umemiya: “I’m a little worried about the fields, so I’m thinking about tomorrow’s weather!”
Kiryu: “I’m playing games until I crash, so I don’t know.” (Me too friend—)
Choji: “Huh? Thinking? Im asleep, so I wouldn’t know!”
Togame: “You can go to bed early if you count numbers, right?”
Sako: “It's different every day, but yesterday I imagined myself with various hair colors.”

Daily questions 11 - Kiryuu Mitsuki
For all other translations, see this post!
Kiryuu's answers:
If you have 500 yen, how would you use it? - My eyes get tired from playing too many games, I'd probably get a hot eye mask~
If you could travel to somewhere in Japan for a holiday, where would you go? - I wanna try going to Shima Spain Village~ (t/n: this place)
What's your favourite condiment? - Wasanbon, I like its exquisite taste~ (t/n: wasanbon is an expensive refined sugar used for making Japanese-style sweets. Kiryu really be showing his background wwww) (edit 21 Oct 2024: I was fortunate enough to try out wasanbon during my recent trip to Japan. It's like icing sugar (it has that slightly cooling feeling when it first touches your tongue), while having a more complex flavour profile that tastes like a less intense version of brown sugar and caramel)
What do you think about before you sleep? - I play games until I fall asleep, so I dunno~
What would you eat for your last meal? - I'll probably have one of the cup ramen I like~
Recently, was there something that made you a little happy? - I pulled an SSR character I wanted~ (t/n: I feel this gentleman on a spiritual level)
If someone of the opposite gender asks you for your contact number, what would you do? - Here it is, you can reach me anytime~ (t/n: WHAT A GENTLEMAN)

With that being said, there are certain themed restaurants and amusement parks (both existing and not-so) and things related that actually remind me of the "Welcome to Dreamworld" analog horror webseries that @rainbott created.
Here's the list of these things:
Themed Restaurants:
Ichiraku Ramen - Colombia's anime-themed restaurant.
Kawaii Monster Cafe - The name of the well-known restaurant of Harajuku, Tokyo in Japan says it all.
Sushi Delic - New York City's kawaii sushi experience.
Robot Restaurant - Shinjuku, Tokyo of Japan's over-the-top dinner and show.
Amusement Parks:
Tokyo DisneySea - Japan's very enjoyable Disney Park that was aimed at adult fans.
Huis Ten Bosch - Japan's theme park based on the country of Holland.
Shima Spain Village - Japan's theme park based on the country of Spain.
Ghibli Park - Studio Ghibli's very own theme park, just as Disney has theirs. (The best areas in that park are both the Grand Warehouse and the Valley of Witches.)
Disney's America - Disney Parks' (abandoned idea of) Americana-theme park in Virginia.
Related:
Meow Wolf's Omega Mart - An interactive art installation in the form of a surreal grocery store with a story within secret areas.
Jungle Jim's: International Grocery Store - Cincinnati's giant grocery store with international goods and weird, over-the-top decorations (including animatronic characters).
Skyway & Peoplemover - Disneyland's retired modes of transportation.
Horror Make-Up Show - It is what it is at Universal Orlando.
Monsato Hall of Chemistry & Kaiser Aluminum Hall of Fame - Disneyland's former attractions.
Videopolis - Disneyland's former teen nightclub.
There's YouTube videos on the history of the abandoned project on Disney's America, along with Disneyland's two discontinued modes of transportation and the two former attractions there. Also, if you want to see what the themed restaurants and still standing amusement parks (along with both Jungle Jim's and Omega Mart) look like, search NOT JUST on YouTube but also Instagram and Google's Images section of these places to get an idea how they bring in their excitement and such to guests and visitors.
While I wait for an "analog horror webseries" analysis video to be released on YouTube with the focus being "Welcome to Dreamworld" created by @rainbott (and the video especially being created by @nick-nocturne himself), I looked back on one of Rainbott's discussion videos (the one about designs and creations) talking about how she created the setting of the webseries (Dreamworld Entertainment), and it was the opening of the video where she said that her favorite YouTube videos she's watched are videos discussing random things, but two notable topics includes both "themed restaurants" and "obscure amusement park history". With that being said, did Rainbott watch videos on both those two topics to get ideas for Dreamworld Entertainment itself?

Apparently, on September 22, 2022, Japan and Spain signed a memorandum for mutual tourism cooperation and strengthening ties.
Spain is a highly-regarded tourism destination in Japan, and in return, the number of Spanish visitors to Japan reached a record high in 2018.
There's much to look forward to from here on. I want to go to Spain!! (Himaruya)

New upload to my YouTube channel!
In 1997 I took a research trip to Parque España / Shima Spain Village, a Spanish-themed amusement park in Osaka, Japan.
It contained the single worst/best dark ride I've ever seen in my life, "Donkey's Sherry". I present to you now an extremely rare (and possibly the *only*) video of this now-closed ride. Keep in mind that the source video was only SVHS quality, and it's VERY dark; be sure to watch it on a bright monitor, and even then you may only be able to make out bits and pieces.
Basically, the ride is a "donkey-ized" ripoff of the "Pirates of the Carribean" -- but it's a "dry" ride where you ride in sherry barrels on a motorized track instead of boats. The ride opens on the grounds of a Spanish vineyard, where an anthropomorphic donkey crew in authentic Spanish costume is busy making sherry.
Drinking some of their libation, the donkeys get drunk and party and throw up. Then there's a brief spooky interlude suggesting the inquisition, with axe-wielding donkeys, ghosts and bats (which in turn rips off "Haunted Mansion" with some pepper's ghost effects). Suddenly the drunken donkeys begin to terrorize, pillage and burn the village, all the while dressed as conquistadors.
Keep an eye out for the incredible deus-ex-donkey denouement: an 18-foot-tall donkey conquistador warrior with laser beams for eyes! Just after that, there's a trippy sequence involving over-sized donkey-head wine bottle stoppers and walls of sherry barrels bursting at the seams, overflowing with wine.
At the end, a boat filled with drunken donkey musicians sails into the nighttime horizon, singing and dancing with inebriated glee. As the sun rises, riders return to the vineyard, and a lone farm donkey stands on all fours (sans anthropomorphic clothing) just outside the main house -- making it seem as though the entire thing was all a booze-induced donkey dream.
Sadly, the attraction closed in late 2003, and the building has been repurposed as numerous other offerings. Currently, it's a ride based on the Nutcracker: https://youtu.be/n53_UpWlRuk

Global Exchange- A regional cryptocurrency is being issued by the Mitsubishi Research Institute (MRI) and an Osaka-based rail company for the popular tourist zone in the jurisdiction of Mie, in Japan. Local cryptocurrency usage rollout for tourists in popular Japanese destination.
MRI was formed in 1970 by the Mitsubishi Consortium. It said on Wednesday that the blockchain-based coin, known as Kintetsu Shimakaze Coin, would only run from November 11, 2019 – January 31, 2020.
This is the fourth initiative from the two organizations to upgrade technology and develop related systems, practices, and facilities.
Two years of partnership for local coins have taken place between Kintetsu and MRI. The first Kintetsu Harukas Coin Social Experiment to study a payment system using blockchain technology was conducted in September and October 2017.
The Kintetsu and MRI collaboration conducted their second Kintetsu Harukas Coin Social Experiment in Osaka to study the QR code mechanism and launch person-to-person transfers between October and December 2018, wherein Mitsubishi UFJ, the banking group and Omron Corporation also took part. Prior to the current experiment, the two companies came together in February 2019, to experiment with a local coin around the Osaka Uehommachi Station- Globalexchange.
The upcoming experiment would be conducted in Ise-Shima, a peninsular belt known for its coasts, seafood, pearl cultivation, and national park, nevertheless, this experiment is a restricted trial run. The coin would be accepted by a mere 15 business units from the region, and some of the business units are the Shima Spain Village, Miyako Resort Shima Bayside Terrace, Kashikojima Espana Cruise, and Makonde Art Museum.
As per the news report published in Nikkei, since the token is limited only to the trial, the operator, Kintetsu expects to eventually launch a permanent cryptocurrency for use on its railway network.
Users are required to download and install the Kintetsu Shimakaze Coin application for initial registration and for using the cryptocurrency, the Stablecoin linked to the Japanese yen.
Customers could add up to 1,000 yen block for a premium of 10%, up to a total of 100,000 yen. Coin transactions between participants would be easily possible. Additionally, the coin would be withdrawn and usage would be stopped at the end of the trial phase.
The Kintetsu Group is the local MRI partner company and is listed on the Stock Exchange of Tokyo. It possesses transport assets including the transport network in the designated region for the trial program. In addition, the tokens will be issued and managed by MRI.

My spring plan
I plan to go to camp and Fukuoka in my spring holidays. I am going to go to camp in Shizuoka. There are beautiful sky and stars in winter vacation. However, February is very cool. I want to put many cloths not to be cold. February 3rd I plan to try Kanji second graded test. It is very hard schedule. In February 16th I am going to go to Hoshino Gen's concert. My aunt is a big fan of him and she won tikets. I'm looking forward to seeing it. In March, I may go to Fukuoka. The plan do not confirm, I perhaps will go to Shima Spain village, or Gero Onsen. In spring holidays, we have a lot of time and money. Therefore I want to try going out of home. In March, university entrance exam finishes, I want to play with my friend Ronin (student between schools) and my high school junior. I want to find my new hobby in spring holidays.
