Darcy gritted her teeth as she glanced behind her, Shiloh waving from across the room, a happy grin on her face. She couldn’t very easily kick Narcissa out now. 

“I suppose… I suppose you can stay.” She said finally. 

“...Really?” Narcissa seemed surprised. She quickly recovered though, and waved at Shiloh from her current position. 

“Darcy, it would be nice if—” Narcissa stopped suddenly, looking like she might think better of whatever she was about to say, “Never mind. Thanks for inviting me in.” 

As her sister wandered off towards the rest of the guests, some of Darcy’s friends gave her weird looks and backed away as she walked past.

Darcy stood at the doorway, baffled by her sister’s change in demeanor. Narcissa seemed almost…. Normal, for once.

Jaaaaaaade 💚🌼 Thank you so much for this ask ily 🥺💕 I've been thinking about this all day as usual! It made me feel so warm and fuzzy! For Tighnari's birthday... • I came home to Gandharva Ville all the way from Fontaine. Of course I would overwinter there. It's practically paradise for a vegetarian like me who doesn't like the cold very much! But I came early so I would already be there the morning of his birthday. To look at his pretty face as the sunlight comes in. I want all day with him. • Collei and I prepared gifts and cake for him with little flower decorations. Just like he does for us, we gathered flowers that are in season during his birthday. He loved them -- especially the part where he got to educate us about them! • We gathered fruits and vegetables, and I helped the forest rangers hunt for the sake of them having meat to eat. It gave me a chance to practice with my love's weapon. Hopefully I will be as good as him one day 🌼 • Tighnari and I sat in that place in his birthday picture while I looked over his encyclopedia. His tail gently wrapped around me while I was giving him feedback hehe • After having a wonderful party together with Collei, Cyno, and the forest rangers, we snuggled all night. It was nice and warm. No winter chill when you're home in Gandharva Ville 💚🌼 Thank you again for asking! Your asks are always so much fun and they bring such warmth and happiness all day 💚

HCs of the day:

Xiao loves it when you rest your head in his lap so that he can play with your hair and use crystalflies as pins/clips, he runs his fingers over your cheekbones so gently, traces over the shape of your lips so hesitantly. On the other hand, he also loves resting his head on your shoulder, sometimes napping under the shade of a tree (though he says it's you who needs rest, for he refuses to admit that an adeptus like him needs sleep too). He smushes his cheek hard against your skin, sometimes burying his face in your neck, he hums in comfort. Xiao's lips pucker up in a lil pout when his cheeks are all smushed like that, but please don't point it out or he'll literally grumble like a grumpy cat and either turn away or bite you (yessir he bites, with his very pointy fangs, ofc never hard enough to hurt, it's meant to be a warning in very his embarassed haze, and well, you can't say you dislike it afterall).

Also after gifting you a bunch of crystalflies, Xiao will make you a lil jade butterfly to keep as a pendant, he tries to write it off as an it being an amulet that repels evil spirits but you ofc know better (yes this is very much inspired by the birthday voice line).

Also also (and then I swear im done and ill leave you alone) Xiao who puts make up on you as well, but the sacred and cerimonial kind of make up that he sports as well: he teaches you the meaning of the red lining his eyes, paints a diamond or a flower on your forehead and huffs a semblance of a laugh when you scrunch your nose and say it tickles, brushes his lips over yours instead if putting lipstick of them, it's an action meant to pacify you, coax you to sit still for him, but it only makes him restless instead, and now he can't look away, because he wants to do it again. And again.

Will I ever be done with my Xiao brainrot? Probably not.
