At first, people think Kenpachi is just a bloodthirsty killer who is just itching for a good fight, and while much of that is true, in my opinion Kenpachi had one of the most interesting stories in Bleach.

We all know Kenpachi came from the 80th district of the Rukongai, The Zaraki District, the worst district in Bleach and most of his childhood was filled with violence(mostly from him), death, and only the strongest could survive. He even grew up without a NAME! So he named himself after that hell of of the district.

We can also mention that Zaraki did not formally have a damn sword to start with. He literally finds a dead soul reaper sword and takes it, and eventually imprints his soul into the sword, like who else is doing that in Bleach????? NOBODY!!

ALSO HOW FREAKING STRONG DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO BEAT THE PREVIOUS KENPACHI OF SQUAD WITH SOMEONE ELSES SWORD IN A SINGLE BLOW?? LIKE KENPACHI DIDNT EVEN HEAR THE SPIRIT OF HIS ZANKPUTO AND HE STILL MANAGED TO DEFEAT THAT CAPTAIN. NOT ONLY THAT!! He did not have any formal training in swordsmanship??? He only trained for ONE DAY because Centeral 46 were concerned that Kenpachi would be UNSTOPPABLE if he decided to rebel! Unohana notice even before he became a captain that he was strong and powerful????

Then his relationship with Yachiru, Ikkaku and Yumchikia is OUTSTANDING!!!! Ikkaku decided to hide his bankai because he doesn’t want to leave the 11th division and rather stay in this decision because of Kenpachi! That’s how much Ikkaku respects this man!! Same for Yumchikia! Since his Shikia is Kido type, and that is usually frowned upon in Squad 11, he rarely uses it and when he does it makes sure he is far away from others Soul Reapers! The dedication they put to stay under his command!

And of course Yachiru, he finds her when she is a baby and since she showed no fear towards his sword he named her after the first Kenpachi who was UNOHANA BY THE WAY! Their relationship is so precious, and I could talk about them for hours but someone already did that for me and it is a great read btw, read it here!

Sorry I feel like I was doing a lot of rambling but Kenpachi story line is the most thought out storyline in bleach. I’m pretty sure when someone first sees Kenpachi they do not think much of him, just some crazy strong captain who likes to fight. Kenpachi had an interesting backstory,and development throughout bleach, and seeing his story just unfold until the very end was just /chef kiss.

They're being difficult and I'm trying to cheer them up and it was either wil or shikia but I was like

and all the others were like YEAH :D and now i can't get them to cooperate

basically if Wil trusts you enough to let you play with his hair or you give brae really nice food and help her when she has her downward moments or Shikia starts speaking a language aside from her own around you they are all prepared to kill a man for you
