happy twewy anniversary unfortunatley i dont have anything other than this comic i made like a month ago

The reason I love Neku and Shiki's dynamic (both platonically and romantically) is that Shiki was the first person to begin to help Neku break out of his shell. She noticed he was a kind person underneath his non-caring mask he puts on to protect himself.

Shiki has her own struggles but she became attached and empathised with Neku. She has identity issues and latches onto the 'mask' which is Eri which parallels the way Neku hid his kind and caring self under the 'asshole' persona he puts on due to a fear of never being accepted.

Once Shiki began to accept herself she got seperated from Neku because he got sent to Shinjuku. She had 3 years to come to terms with herself from what she learned during The Reapers Game. Vice Versa, Neku matures and grows during the 3 years he was in Shinjuku to a point where he's able to a be mentor figure to Rindo by the time Neo TWEWY begins. Shiki and Neku are direct parallels and their bond explored through the game is realistic and personal to me.

By the time they reunite at the end of Neo TWEWY they've both matured and grew to accept their real selves. Whether this means they'll end up becoming closer or remaining friends is to be seen but their bond is developed to a degree you can see they've become equals.

What's The Reason For This, Cause He Almost Looks offended that someone <NOT SORA> is into him

He is like

"Knight!?!"

In this tone that was like how could I be a knight nor am I into you.

He clearly into Sora and this entire game legit has so many implications of him being into his best friend.

Also yes, what I like about these two is that despite everything they are still best friends with each other even if Riku feels how he does.

It's funny how the localization changed this scene to be more offended. In the original he says,

"not that kind of knight."

It still has the same idea and he probably still thinks she is hitting on him, but that's when she realizes when she says,

"I was totally just kidding",

that he is gay
