The tags/scenario revolving inside my head while I worked on this:

Enemies to Lovers, Persistent!Izuku, Soft!Tenko), Secret Relationship, Very much in love Shigadeku who are also very aware that they're on a time limit, a lot of internal conflicts ofc but they rly don't want to let go unless something big changes -> then things escalate bc screw you AFO -> Tenko makes a big decision that could affect everything and sneaks into Izuku's room [bc he's been doing that for months now. Dont ask how]for one last time to see his love before sht hits the fan just in case -> crying. Lots of crying. Angst city ------->action intensifies---------> HAPPY ENDING. I won't accept anything else. I may have imagined this with Romeo and Juliet vibes but I'm having none of that tragedy part bs.

The house wasn't bad, his room was smaller, but only a little and Izuku wasn't very demanding.

The possibility of hanging some posters of All Might, of some hero and some manga character and he was happy.

In regards to my post about the Izuocha ship and why it doesn't work, with what happened to him in the past, it make sense why he wouldn't be romantically interested. Because in his mind: why would a girl want to get with someone as useless and pathetic as he is?

Anyways, my issue with Hori is how he let his mc think he is useless and dares to say this is all "to humble" him. Look, even if all girls I'm UA wanted Izu's dick and sacrificed bk ...Izu would still think he is less than shit.

In my sgdk fics I tend to make Izu (or Izumi) learns she is better than that and BK was wrong for making his/her life hell. This is not that hard to make...but it is so rare see any fic where Ochako gives any real support for Izu. Sex? Sure but that is not even special (any girl could take that spot, you know, "Momo is saved by Izu to reward him...she takes him to bed" a premise to a smut right there)

Now I want to say.... Shigaraki killing or beating up BK for Izu...is way more to romantic (that's me of course)

Hori refuses in canon to let Izu grow and heal bc BK must be attached to his victim forever.
