Thinking about Shigaraki with a bat/ vampire quirk s/o. He’s thinks your like typical vampire hating garlic and a stake through the heart. He genuinely finds you interesting especially when you start getting more comfortable with him. The way sit in his lap and admire him nuzzling up to him while you watch him play a game. But what his was interested in was your fangs. Those pretty fangs that glint in the light when you smile or when you yawn. It made him shiver thinking about how he wanted you to bite him. God those fangs thinking about sinking them into his neck while he was in a meeting just so you could quench your thirst. Or just biting him to mark him up your warm tongue lapping at his puncture wounds it made him hard just thinking about it. He always made you bite his fingers to see how strong your bite was his hands on your jaw as he admired your fangs as you look up at hum with confusion as he stared in awe.

Heyo! As of writing this- the event is closed, but I got this before the last hour so you're in the clear, anon! I hope you don't mind I hijacked your headcanon for some DustBunny- I've been thinking about them alot lately. I hope you like it!

“You like this, don’t you?” Rumi’s soft voice sent tingles up his spine, her hand up his shirt and dragging random patterns along his skin. “Don’t you, dusty?”

“Mmmph! N-No-Yes? Maybe- I don’t know-” Shigaraki would have given a clearer answer if he weren’t currently fighting for his life, tensing in her arms as the tickles spread across his belly. A part of him wanted to push her away- make some sort of claim he hated it and never wanted her to touch him again.

The other- far more honest part of him wanted to melt into her chest and tell her to never stop. Ticklish as it was, it was so comforting- a feeling he long forgot about since forming the LOV.

“Can’t make up your mind, love?” Oh that teasing tone! He felt heat creep up his neck, coloring his near-lifeless skin. “You’re blushing, so I’ll take that as a yes.”

“D-Dohohohn’t assume you know mehehhehe!” He tried for tough but broke near immediately when her tracing turned into skitters- light enough to keep him there but firmer enough to silence any protest. “Ahehehehe! Hehahahhahaha!”

“Aww, you’re cute when you laugh.” She pulled him closer so he was on his back, looming over him as her hand continued dragging across his belly. “And you’re not even fighting me. You really do love this, don’t you?”

“Ehehehahahhaaha! Huhuuhuhush! I’d duhuuhuhuuhst you if I fohohoohought bahahahc- eheheheheheeh!” He arched some when she pinched. “Dohoohohn’t doohohoho thahhhat!”

“Not a fan? Alright- how about this then?” She kissed his smiling lips before ducking down, her ears brushing his cheeks along the way. For a second, his mind went to unsightly places.

Then her mouth found the center of his belly and Shigaraki realized his priorities were jacked.

“AH! Ahehahahahahhahaha, nohohohohoohoohohhoo! Buhuuuhuuhhuny, stahahahhap thahahahhahahhahat!” He squeaked when she blew a massive raspberry against his skin, then another. On the third one he reached down, pulling her back up by the shirt. “Dohohoohhn’t! Tohooohohoho muhuhuhuhuch!”

“Pfft- you’re so sensitive!” She laughed, kissing him once more before bringing them back to their original positions, her arms coming back around his waist but staying above his shirt. At first he was satisfied with it.

Then…

“Hey um…you could er…do what you were doing earlier.” He mumbled, face burning. “I don’t mind the erm…”

“This?” Her fingers slipped past his shirt, returning to gentle tracing. Shigaraki squirmed back into her, a small but pleased smile on his lips.

“Yehahahah…I guehehehess this is fiihihine.”

I think if AFO is related to Midoriya, he would have to be his grandfather or great grandfather or even further down the line.

That would even be more of a reflection of him and Tomura.

Their grandparents happen to be holders of All For One and One For All? But the irony is that the villain's grandmother was a holder of OFA and the hero's grandfather is the holder of AFO?

That, if AFO was related to Midoriya, is what I want.

The timeline would even make a little more sense in my opinion.

MORE DABI HEADCANONS…

i’ve quite literally got nothing better to post…

≫ He’s REALLY claustrophobic, I’m talking comical breathing exercises when he thinks no one is watching. For that reason he’s always the big spoon, no questions about it.

≫ Definitely dabbles in weed.

≫ In the same manner he smokes, he and Twice like the same brand so they share pretty often when it’s relevant.

≫ He curiously tried quirk enhancing drugs once, NEVER AGAIN.

≫ When Dabi was still Touya, he did ballroom dancing, he still retained the info, it’s kinda forever in there. That’s just one of those weird facts that Dabi never talks about until the league pulls it out of him.

≫ Dabi talks in his sleep, he also sleep walks. It’s the usual cryptic stuff. Dabi once woke up staring into the window of some random 24 hour gas station/convenience store about 10 minutes from the Gunga Villa base, he was yapping about candles the whole time. The clerk behind the counter was REAL close to calling the cops.

≫ Dabi has stupid nicknames he uses sometimes for some of the league members. The names in brackets he uses more often.

he used to call him “lizard” until spinner gave him an earful, he let him settle on the other names begrudgingly.

SHIGARAKI - hands, [boss]

≫ Dabi used to be severely underweight, he didn’t have time to eat before the LOV — he was squatting in houses and living in the streets, eating out of the garbage, and it was a hassle to find something that wasn’t practically biohazard. When he was fully integrated and gained a place to stay at the bar, where everyone hung out at almost too often and ordered takeout regularly around noon, he got some meat on his bones. still on the tall and lanky side because that’s just how he’s built — just more filled out. Same went for the MLA and PLF arcs. Communal dining and the general surplus of food (at least in the PLF formation) allowed him to actually eat.

≫ You know, his whole cold immunity actually helped a lot when he was homeless, he didn’t really need to do anything extra to get warm, didn’t need to worry about freezing to death, especially since sleeping under the snow was warmest during cold nights. It’s summers that are hell for him, he has to worry about losing his sanity burning up.

Hello, all! We're here at last with prompts and dates for the fourth Spinaraki Week! It will be held in the very last week of August, from Sunday the 25th to Saturday the 31st!

As with last time, you can find a text version of the prompts and the full rules beneath the cut below, but first, a few general upkeep notes!

Re: event week tags: Following previous patterns, the tags for the week will be #spinarakiweek, #spinarakiweek2024, #spinarakiweek4, and #spinarakiweeknsfw.

Re: spoiler tags: Going by the results of the poll we ran about spoilers we ran, the vast majority of respondents are up on current events/don't care about spoilers. However, there are a small number of people who are avoiding spoilers. In recognition of that breakdown, and the fact that the manga will be over by the time the event is held, we will not be asking participants to spoiler tag their work on their own blogs, but will make our best efforts to tag for manga spoilers (#bnha manga spoilers) as we reblog to the main blog.

We have no current plans to tag for anime spoilers, as none of the mods follow the anime particularly closely, but please do contact us if you would like us to tag for spoilers for the anime episodes that will be airing immediately around the event (barring any breaks in the airing schedule, these should be Episodes 15 and 16 of the current season, Episodes 153 and 154 overall).

Re: AU fills: We got a number of requests on the survey for AU-type prompts: mermaids, supernatural creatures, heroes, pro-gamers, and so on. While we've dabbled with fanfic tropes as prompts in past years, this year we wanted to keep things relatively open. Just as a reminder, though, we heartily welcome AU content, so anyone is welcome to do AUs at any time and for any prompt they can make fit for it! You could do Mermaid AU fills for every day of the week and we'll happily reblog it, so long as they fit some aspect of one of the prompts of the day. Please, go absolutely nuts!

Re: our tumblr subpages: Firstly, our rules are the same as always, and can be found in the Rules section at the top of the page if that's visible to you, or beneath the cut below if not. The (new!) Rules & Policies

1)  We will accept and reblog any fan-made work—fanfiction, fanart, meta, playlists, etc.—so long as it focuses primarily on Shigaraki and Spinner’s relationship and fits an appropriate daily prompt.  The work must be newly published for the week, though if you wish to also use it as a fill for some other concurrent event, you’re welcome to do so.           You can work with any of the daily prompts you like, singly or in combination.  We try to keep them fairly broad, so feel free to get as creative as you like!  We welcome any fill that satisfies some aspect of the chosen prompt(s). 

2)  We’re celebrating the relationship between Shigaraki and Spinner as it’s been, as it may be, and even as it could have been.  Shippy-fic or gen-fic, canon-compliant or AU, romantic or platonic or any complicated place in between; we’re good with all of it.  Polyshipping/OT3s are allowed, but the focus must remain on Shigaraki and Spinner.

3)  Regarding content, we’re not placing hard limits on what we’re accepting.  Shigaraki and Spinner are villains in a canon that goes to some shockingly dark places, so we consider exploration of that darkness fair game for fanwork.  Likewise, given that this is a week focused on a relationship, we welcome NSFW content.  We do, however, ask that all content be responsibly and appropriately tagged for any content you have reason to expect could be upsetting to others. 

4)  We’ll be checking the tags for spinarakiweek2024, spinarakiweek4, spinarakiweek, and spinarakiweeknsfw.  As stated above, please tag also for any work that requires content warnings.  We’re only operating on tumblr, so if your work is hosted elsewhere, feel free to post a link to it and use one of our tags, though if you do so, you may also wish to message us about it, given tumblr’s notorious grouchiness about off-platform links.           Feel free to message us if it seems like we’ve missed a fill of yours!  Late entries are allowed and enthusiastically welcome.  

5)  No hating on other ships or characters—we’re here to celebrate and enjoy Spinaraki, so if there’s a character you can’t include without bashing them disproportionately to the canon, just don’t include them.  Likewise, please be respectful of other participants and their work, whether or not it’s to your particular taste.

Project Update/Survey of Interest: The AFO Retcon Essay

Having cleared out the inbox, I thought I'd let everyone know where I am on one of the big projects I've been alluding to for a long while now, the big meta post/essay arguing that the possession plot (and therefore AFO as primary endgame villain) is, in so many words, a big stupid retcon. That essay is - for reasons I'll get into shortly - on the brink of a major change in focus, so I'd also like to gauge how much interest people have in its potential new form. Because it would be another huge one, make no mistake.

So, I recently started dabbling with a new word processor program and thought I'd try learning the ropes with the retcon essay; I then spent the better part of two weeks combing through chatlogs and my blog archive trying to compile all the evidence I'd want to consider to make that argument. Two nights ago, I looked at the list I had - almost fifty bullet points! - and had the horribly demoralizing realization that...

...You guys, I just don't think I believe it anymore.

Now, that's not to say I've come around on the possession plot, because I definitely haven't! Rather, my trust in Horikoshi as a writer has been so badly eroded by the state of the writing in the endgame that I no longer think even the earlier material is reliable evidence for where the story was going.

To pick the most prominent example, I always regarded AFO telling Best Jeanist at Kamino that his quirk "wouldn't suit Tomura" as one of my strongest pieces of evidence that the possession plot had not been in the cards at that time. After all, who in hell cares what quirks would or would not suit Tomura if AFO's plan, as stated in Chapter 380, was that he would wholly subsume Tomura's will?

Now, however - and Chapter 380 is a big part of this, too! - I look back on that moment and just think, wearily, "Was that ever true, or was Horikoshi just lying to us already, and the only difference between then and now is that back then the lies could hold for hundreds of chapters, whereas now they're revealed within a matter of pages?"

A chat friend letting me vent suggested that perhaps the line was just intended to foreshadow Shigaraki getting All For One (and therefore all the quirks held within it) and Horikoshi just didn't think through all the implications AFO's phrasing had on how that plot was going to go. That may be true, and it's a more generous read than I could muster at the time, but the end result is the same: If I can't trust that the writing was ever an accurate reflection of the characters and their intentions, I can't in good faith construct an argument relying on that writing.

What I think I can do, however, if people are interested, is broaden the overall thrust to something much bigger than just AFO.

I'm currently toying with the idea of a treatise-in-four-parts about the problems in the endgame. Each part would cover one major branch of related issues - they might need to be broken down into sub-parts themselves, if they run long enough! The whole thing would likely be much longer and more involved than my chapter posts; think something more like the PLF mass arrest essay. Following are my current ideas for how those four parts would fall out, as well as some example talking points for each:

Part 1: Shigaraki and the PLF. Would cover Shigaraki as a villain and what he and the forces he'd amassed circa the end of My Villain Academia stood to bring to the endgame, both ideologically and tactically. Would also cover where they actually wound up and some considerations as to why.           Example Subpoints: Demanding accountability from Hero Society rather than just focusing blame on singular evils; Shigaraki as representative of all previous Villains; the MLA's shift in portrayal between MVA and the endgame; the ludicrous string of nerfs Toga was subjected to; whether the MLA was only ever intended to be a mass of numbers to whittle down the equally massive numbers of the Heroes or whether they were reduced to that after poor reader reception.

Part 2: All For One's Impact. Would focus on the sharp drop in moral complexity AFO both suffered himself compared to his pre-Tartarus characterization and inflicted on the endgame both himself and with the caliber of minions he brought to the story.           Example Subpoints: AFO's inconsistent characterization; the moral reductiveness of the Demon Lord as endgame Villain; AFO and Yoichi's personal history; Vestige mechanics; the impact of AFO's inconsistency on Ujiko's portrayal; the Sekoto Peak Problem; the characterization and handling of the Tartarus escapees.

Part 3: Team Hero Is The Fucking Worst. Would focus on the multitudinous problems with the presentation and methodologies of the Heroes in the endgame. Might be two parts if it gets long enough that I decide to split it up into, like, one part on the adults/Pro Heroes and one on the kids or something.           Example Subpoints: The story's bad faith attempts to portray agents of government authority as scrappy, determined underdogs; why it's impossible to believe that the current heroic cast will be able to enact a satisfying resolution to all the structural problems the story has raised; That Stupid Fucking Mech Fight; the constant refusal to let consequences stick to the Heroes; the way the story both undercuts and oversells Deku as a protagonist, and the impact that has on the broader narrative; One For All and more Vestige Mechanics; The Problem of Hawks; the hospital riot; the Todoroki family's inaction.

Part 4: Other Issues. A catch-all area for anything else I trip over that doesn't fit in any of the categories above, or problems of a more meta-narrative sort.           Very Preliminary Example Subpoints: The lazy portrayal of civilian characters; meta-narrative examples of the unreliability of BNHA's late-stage writing, from simple errors overlooked in the highly demanding grind of Shonen Jump serialization to the much more damning abuse of the reader's expectations of the comic medium; idk probably lots of other stuff, I Have Many Problems.

That said, I now have to ask, how interested are you all in a project like that? A fair amount of it would be recycled from my chapter posts, but obviously it would cover stuff I never got to in those, and would be able to be written with more hindsight (especially if it's written mostly or entirely after the series ends!), as opposed to the constant problem of reacting to the story week-to-week.

I basically stopped writing the chapter posts for reasons of incessant negativity, and obviously, this would be more of that, but I mind the negativity a lot less when it's A) able to be more comprehensive and focused than meandering and piecemeal and B) in the form of a large project I can work on as I have the energy for it rather than a brand new project every single week. And, as I trust stuff like MVA In Memoriam and On Heteromorphobia make clear, I do like the idea of putting together a good, comprehensive, easy-to-reference tract on all those problems, as opposed to just letting my issues remain scattered across multiple years of chapter thoughts and bnha critical tags!

That said, it's a big project, and I do vent about these issues pretty constantly with chat and irl friends, so if there's not much interest from followers here, I would not find it hard to just let the whole thing go and turn my eyes to less intimidating fare instead.

(Current other projects include the usual roster of BNHA fic, another mid-length meta piece in the mode of the BNHA vs. Helck comparison from a while back, this time on Mamoru Hosoda's Belle, and a horrible temptation to try and write something thoughtful and even-handed about demons in Frieren: Beyond Journey's End to combat the reductive-ass takes on both sides of the argument I've been seeing all over the internet since its anime started. Also, every week I go without seeing a single damn MachtxGluck fanfic on AO3 is a week I get closer to trying to figure out a way into writing it myself.)

“Fight me!” Spinner held out a Joy-Con like it was a sword, pointing it at Shigaraki. “And no cheating either!”

“You're just saying that because you’re a sore loser.” The league leader snorted, taking the controller in hand as Spinner set up their game. “Don’t come crying to me when I win again, dino-sore.”

“I’ll get you for that.” Spinner’s eyes danced.

Turns out- Spinner keeps his word.

“Ha! I win!” Shigaraki cheered, raising his arms in victory as his little butterfly character landed her final attack on the massive Shinobi. He was just about to brag when a hand shot out squeezing the base of his ribs. “AH! W-What the hehehehell?”

“Oh? Is someone ticklish?!” Spinner laughed, his clawed hand still squeezing Shigaraki’s side. “Should have considered that before calling me a “Dino-sore”, huh?”

“Yohoohohohu’re stihiihihhll mahhahhad about thahahahht? Cohooohohme ohoohohon, Spihihihihinner! Ahehahhahhaha!” Shigaraki curled into himself, clawing at the hand cemented against him. “Iihiihiihihit’s nohohohohot lihiihhke you dohohohoohn’t cahahhall mehhehehe dry bohohohohohnes!”

“Oh, you heard that? My bad.” Spinner blinked in surprise, hand still tickling. “Well- I’m not mad! I never was- I just wanted a reason to tickle you.” He added his other hand, gently massaging circles into Shigiraki’s hip and making him scream. “Hehe, you’re so ticklish, boss!”

“SPIHIHIHIIHIHIHINER! AHEHAHHAHAHAHA! STHAHAHAHP IHIHIIHIIHT!” Shigaraki cried, thrashing beneath his friend. He was grateful for his gloves- though he knew he’d never intentionally dust Spinner. He’d since gained control of his quirk. “I TAHAHHAKE IT BAAHHAHCK! I TAHAHAHAHAKE IT BHAHAHHACK PLEAHHAHAHSE!”

“Am I a ‘dino-sore’?” Spinner asked, giggling when Shigaraki rapidly shook his head. “Am I better at video games than you?” Reluctant, but a rapid nod. “...Are you sure?”

“SPHIHIHIIHIHINNER!” Shigaraki cackled, face red and voice breaking.

“Hehe, okay okay.” Spinner released him, watching the younger man curl into himself. “Such a kid.”

“Yohoohohu’re ohoohnly a yhheear ohoholder…” Shigaraki reminded him, reaching out and squeezing Spinner’s knee. The lizard villain all but squawked, grabbing his boss’ hand with a mild glare. “Hehe, yohoohu’re ticklish too..”

“Oh, so you’re asking for round two?” Spinner wasted no time grabbing Shigaraki’s arm, shooting it up and going right for his armpit. “Okay, Dry Bones! If that’s what you want!”

Omg, it's been a hot minute since I dabbled in MHA… But let me crack open the vault real quick.

So first off, and this should be obvious…

Dabi! The reason I started the show in the first place!! This boy's Frankenstein aesthetic had me swooning from the moment I saw a GIF of him!! And unconventional colored flames that probably symbolize a deep-seated trauma!! YES!! I honestly think we would make a good couple, kinda like Frankenstein and his bride (in a romanticized way), we'd have the Goth BF x Lolita GF vibes which are a bonus. I also get the inkling we'd share the same taste in music (Chase Atlantic, Neighborhood, Mr.Kitty)

Shigaraki is next and tbh I don't really know when I feel for him. Just that at one point he was all I could think about. I think it's something about his twisted legacy and conflicting nature that has rendered him into a decaying amalgamation of hate and misplaced ambitions, that really gets a girl's heart beating out of her chest, you know? Now that I'm revisiting my tween crushes, I got a fun little au for Bakugo.

Imagine being Pro-Hero Bakugo's mistress. Just his girl on the side. For whatever reason you can't be together in public, you'd ruin each other's images. I think the reader kinda wants to ruin Bakugo's life just because she hated him in middle/high school. But Bakugo becomes too infatuated with her to let her leave him. “Fine. I was checking on you, but you don’t want me.”

You turn away quickly from him Keigo, leaving him behind and keeping in a cry when you hear him drag the girl he was with into the bathroom. Touya was already cruel enough to point out that Keigo had gone out of sight for quite a while. You’re not stupid; they’re both giving you payback.

I didn’t even fuck anyone! You loudly scream in your head.

But now you were wanting to.

It’s a horrible cycle that you are participating in but it’s just not fair that they can do this to you. You can’t stand the fact that they had to take it a step further to make you feel bad. You never even wanted Shigaraki for more than just a plug! It was mostly about drugs!

All you wanted was more drugs so that you would stop feeling so bad over them!

Why wasn’t you crying and apologizing enough for them?

Fuck returning to Touya and fuck Keigo for being the same cheating piece of shit.

It’s almost reminiscent of the very first party Touya took you to. You’re upset as you snag a bottle off the liquor table and disappear to the upstairs of this stupid house. On the way with the bottle, you spot a lonely young man nursing a red cup in his hand; he looks meek. You think he’ll do.

“Hey,” you approach him and don’t really care the way he jerks in surprise, “do you think I’m cute?”

You’re given a once over and his face flushes before answering, “Yeah. I think you’re-“

“Okay, come with me.” you’re pulling him with your free hand to a room at the end of the hallway. He’s sputtering behind you but you don’t really have a care as you take charge of pushing him into the bedroom. The door locks and you take off the cap off the bottle to drink straight from the lip.

Ugh, whiskey.

Just like the first time too.

The young man still holds his red cup and you don’t even bother to ask if he’d like any. Whiskey pours into the plastic, mixing with whatever alcohol he was nursing. Being a little drunk will be necessary to go through with this. Maybe also a little sniff too.

You sit close to a bedside table and lay your phone face up, pulling the cocaine from your pocket. It doesn’t occur to you that you do it without having a second thought at this point. To be able to get through your hard moments and when you need to collect yourself, coke had always done a better job of comforting you these days. You cut a line neatly before looking over to your company and offering him one as well, “You want? It’s good.”

He politely declines and he’s wary as you make a second one anyway. You inhale both of them and now you’re a little more sure of yourself. The numbness from when you gummed earlier in the bathroom is starting to wear off so you collect coke off your phone screen to numb the inside of your lip again.

“Drink.” You tell the young man as you raise the whiskey bottle to your lips. He obeys and you realize that this is the first time in a while you’ve had a guy ever listen to you. No questions or anything, just immediate obedience.

It felt… different.

Actually not different. Maybe a little familiar…

The whiskey burns down your throat and it’s not a pleasant taste with the drip at the back of your throat.

You pat the edge of the bed in indication for him to join you. Again, with no question or complaint, he does as told and sits right next to you. “I’m really mad,” you say out loud, “and I wanna do something about it.”

“Oh um… I’m sorry you’re mad.” he tells you with uncertainty of what his part is.

Already the alcohol makes you a little loose in your mind and you think this is a good idea to follow through with. You take another shot for courage before settling the bottle down on the floor and taking his cup from your hands. “You ever go down on a girl?” You ask him as you swirl the liquid in the red cup. He face flushes but he nods his head.

Silently you open your legs, your eyes flicking down to the space in between.

“You know, I think you’re drunk-“

You raise a finger to his lips to hush him, “I won’t ask a second time.”

There is something very different about ordering someone else around and being given what you want. It’s satisfying when he does as told, going on his knees before you and kissing along the inside of your thighs first. You lean back slightly, letting one hand to support your weight while you sip at the red cup. “Tell me I’m pretty.”

Your eyes flutter and you feel the coke in your brain now. It swims in your veins along with the whiskey. Your panties are pulled to the side and despite him being so shy initially, you gasp as you’re eaten out so sloppily.

He’s flustered too and he looks sorry, as if he thinks he had done something wrong.

Looks like you can’t give them a taste of their own medicine and a part of you is very upset over this fact. But you’re also too considerate to drag anyone innocent into your fucked up relationship with boyfriends.

Honestly, it is irritating that they don’t give the same courtesy to you. You’re upset because you feel guilty for attempting to cheat back and equally upset that you just can’t go through with it.

“Did I do something wrong? Did I not do it right?” He starts to ask.

“No! No, you’re actually good. Really good, truthfully.” you give him a genuine compliment over his performance, “I just can’t. My boyfriends would kill me.”

“Boyfriends? Plural?” He asks but the door knocks, and the both of you jerk in surprise.

“(Name)! Are you in there?”

Oh fuck! Oh fuck! It’s Touya!

You try to think quickly, looking around the room for any hiding spot. Whether for himself or you, you’re not sure yet. All there is a closet so you take the red cup and shove it in the guy’s hand, aggressively pointing to the closet for him to hide in, and again, he listens with no argument. Touya pounds on the door a few times and the lock starts to jiggle.

You take the whiskey bottle for one last big swig before placing the cap back on it.

The door swings open, a dent in the middle of the wood from Touya’s boot, and your boyfriends enter the room.

“Fucking hell! You had us worried and searching every goddamn room in this house!” Touya barks at you but you see that he’s more relieved than angry. His eyes naturally draw to your phone and the cocaine out on the table and he sighs to himself. “What did I say about-“

You burst into tears, audibly sobbing and holding the whiskey bottle close to your chest. Now the whiskey hits you and the guilt hits you even harder. Maybe you’re not really cut out for being a cheater. You want to hurt them back in the same way they hurt you but you just can’t.

It makes you feel so pathetic.

“Hey, hey… don’t cry dove. Is this about downstairs?” Keigo asks as he kneels down in front of you, “Look, nothing happened. I didn’t do anything-“

“Don’t lie to me! I already know you did!” You cry in between hiccups, “Just go away!”

He attempts to soothe you again but with no real apology attached to his words, “Hey, we won’t do that shit again as long as you don’t hide anything from us anymore. We only did because you lied to us first and it really hurt us.”

Touya pries the bottle out of your hands and pushes off your arms when you try to reach for it. “You’re drunk and you reek of whiskey. I can smell it all over you. We’re taking you home.”

A part of you wants to put up a fight just to be stubborn but the smarter part knows that you should leave right away. That poor guy is still in the closet and you’re embarrassed that you even tried to cheat back in revenge in the first place.

So you stay quiet as you’re led out of the bedroom and choose to not look back. You walk behind Touya and Keigo, quickly adjusting your panties underneath your dress and trying to keep your head down as you walk out the party.

You shower alone and inspect your body as you clean yourself. There’s a small hickey on the inside of your thigh from your attempt in the bedroom. You wish that more had happened, that you had gotten more guts to go through with it. You’re also grateful that nothing happened more than that.

Still though, they got to hurt you in the way they wanted and you…

You just have to take it.

So, about the mythical forest AU that dabbles into Deity territory, I imagine that all the villains in MHA are neutral/grey.

They are highly respected yet feared.

They would carry traits they have from canon. Like, Overhaul’s penchant for cleanliness, Shigaraki’s sadistic/destructive tendencies, Dabi’s apathy towards those he doesn’t care about, etc.

I love this little spin on The Mythical Forest au.
