It's been an eternity since I last posted art, and this specific piece is (partially) the reason why: It took me FOREVER to finish which on top of VetTech school plus a sudden illness means it was delayed even more.

Anyway, explanations aside, here's MHA's Shie Hassaikai as Pokemon. Yes, they're all birds because I decides it'd be fun to lean into that angle due to their plague doctor masks making them all birdlike. I still tried to pick bird Pokemon that were at least somewhat consistent with their respective powers.

I think rappa would be more.... the safest/ eris favorite bc yeah, he's big n scary and wants to fight everything in sight, but he'd probably just encourage her to get strong "so he can fight her when she's ready"

Tokoyami and dark shadow are great with kids, especially little Eri! Eri was introduced to tokoyami specifically because they were worried his beak would startle her, but after playing some games together she adores them! Dark Shadow is VERY overprotective of her (and kids in general, they are a total momma hen) and loves to do dress up and play pretend with her. They showed her my little pony and stay up with her if she has nightmares. Tokoyami takes a bit more work because his wordy-speaking is hard for kids to understand but eri loves when he reads her stories or teaches her new things. Tokoyami also has good advice on how to control her quirk, he sees himself in her a little bit I think. I don’t know if it’s possible to give spoilers for my own hcs but I definitely think tokoyami killed someone when he was younger, he might be the only one eri can really relate to when it comes to having a dangerous quirk.
