Alright, because I need to plan out everything before I start conquest I'm putting up my pairings and their reasonings

Corrin/Kaze (I like their support, Kaze bby girl you are deserving of my love and devotion. He's also very attractive)

Jacob/Beruka (I paired up Jacob last and the only remaining women were Elise and Beruka and I'm not pairing up Elise. Hope their support is good because I've never read it)

Azura/Laslow ("You will be my inspiration" "and you my muse" "May our song never end" Sickening, they have replaced the inside of my brain. Also conquest makes this pair a huge ouch, an owie if you will. Also Soleil looks very pretty with light blue hair)

Silas/Charlotte (I don't know why I did this one. Sophie looks fine with blond hair, but her growth rates have very big numbers)

Xander/Peri (Mutuals gave me quality food for these two and giving Sieg the ugliest hair possible is the true goal of fates)

Leo/Felicia (Gives Forrest very pretty hair)

Benny/Mozu (Big guy and small girl. Very cute)

Keton/Camilia (Little red riding hood but she's also a princess with a pretty lavender streak of hair)

Arther/Effie (Cute hair colour for Percy)

Odin/Nyx (Nyx stating plainly that she really likes Odin's theatrics and her envy over Odin's passion for magic. I really like them. Also Odin saying that Nyx's backstory is way more dark and tragic than his when Odin's backstory is *Wildly gesturing at Awakening* all of that, delicious)

Niles/Selena (Bisexuals with abandonment issues, but one also has commitment issues in this specific context. Niles falling in love with Selena because of her girl fail antics and Selena saying "Alright you can hit it but we can only get married after I tell you my big secret post game". Also the Nina, Soleil, Ophelia trio being the awakening trio's kids feel right. Like they're all besties but this just feels right, you know)

my take on where tbhk characters lie on the fujoshi/himejoshi & fudanshi/himedanshi spectrum

nene: fujoshi - i mean come on it's self explanatory. she loves romance, she loves pretty boys, she would love BL. simple as

hanako: he doesn't know what any of that is / fudanshi - he died in the 60s before the true beginning of yaoi & yuri, so i think he just wouldn't be in the loop with any of it at all. he might borrow some BL from nene though, so i'm also placing him in the fudanshi category

kou: Normie™ - he reads neither BL nor GL, and likely not romance in general. just not rlly that interested in those genres i think

mitsuba: himedanshi - too repressed for BL, too heterophobic for straight romance, just right for yuri

tsukasa: same situation as hanako - not familiar with either genre

sakura: vaguely himejoshi - i just think she's a lesbian, honestly. she dabbles in BL & straight romance as well just for the sake of it, but her favorite kind of romance is yuri

natsuhiko: himedanshi - he just gives me those vibes, tbh. he likes cute girls and i think he'd also like reading about them falling in love. if tbhk didn't take place in 2015, he'd love tgswiiwagaa

aoi: himejoshi - i'm honestly not that sure about aoi, but i do know that her scenes with nene are yuri as FUCK so she gets to be a himejoshi on principle

akane: himedanshi - he likes whatever aoi likes

teru: N/A - his ass is too overworked to have time to read either, unfortunately

tiara: himejoshi in the making - her nickname is literally "princess", of COURSE she would be a himejoshi when she's old enough to read

shijima: lesbian fujoshi / himejoshi x2 combo - she draws both, she doesn't discriminate!! same goes for og mei

yako: neither - just not interested in romance as a genre in general

tsuchigomori: neither/nuance - i don't think he would actively read either, considering he's a grown ass man with a job and taxes, but also his whole thing is books so i think he's definitely familiar with BL & GL to some extent

kako & mirai: senior citizen & fujoshi in the making - i don't feel the need to elaborate on this one

hakubo: Normie™ - he doesn't care

sumire: would've been a fujo - she lived before yaoi was invented, but i think if she was a modern girl she would read it

satou & yokoo: the main characters of their own slice of life BL - i don't feel the need to elaborate on this one either

btw on the topic of qmeng being a yaoi artist i thought youd like to know (at least as of 2021 and i am assuming theyre still together) she and vivinos r both queer and in a relationship so theyre basically fujoshi/himejoshi couple goals

i found out while looking her up!! its still funny to me bc i really like her yaoi (there are better ways to phrase this) while not knowing her as qmeng and now im listening to black sorrow an inhuman amount of times. she and vivinos r cute its so sweet that they keep killing off all the gays in alnst i hope they continue

Not Instagram Bandori fandom are in denial that Bandori is not a good lesbian representation and the "ship tease" was only created to satisfy crazy himejoshis (they are basically fujoshis who fetishizing lesbian ships) so they can fetishizes the girls with porn shit but nooo the fandom be like "stfu bandori is a wonderful lesbian representation you are just BASED 😜" like there are lots of hidden yet blatant fetishism (in a bad, gross way) in the series.

Not to mention, Kaoru is literally a butch lesbian bait and her entire character is just for fetish (explain why her stans are so horny and thirsty but in gross way). Same shit like Rei/LAYER and Rui, where both are minors yet has adult-like appearance (especially Rui), so this fandom can justify their gross comment to them with "bUt tHeY LoOk tOo mAtUrE fOr a MiNoRs 🥺"

Good representation does not contain nasty gross fetishes and more than just their sexuality. Like, don't make the representation seen as a nasty fetish object, but make them feel seen as appreciated and get what they have feel validated. Bandori fails to do that.

mmm i think i disagree with a bit of this but while seeing where ur coming from if that makes sense?

i guess first i should say that im bi not a lesbian so its not my place to speak on this as much as others but i think the "representation" is nice? like its subtle in some places (kasuari or mocaran for example) but way more overt in specific cases like pareo and kaoru.

i guess i will say that fans of kaoru, layer, and rui do seem to be more sexual about it? but i think most of the time they are also minors so its not as harmful as if it might be if it was adults. not to suggest there aren't weird horny adults in the bandori fandom of course!! i also think the design of rei (especially how she is almost always posing to show off her ass???) is meant to be more adult but shes 16/17 to keep her in line with the rest of the cast bc she looks exactly like if someone said draw raychell in anime style. rui is worse bc although she looks basically exactly the same as ayasa they said on a stream that morfonica were designed THEN cast. so its either a hell of a coincidence or (more likely imo) rui was designed with ayasa in mine before she even got the role.
