In June 2024 for ILD we had a picnic. Revolutionary!

I had planned for a lovely garden full of flowers, but it was cold, windy, and raining. So we went to my backup, which was an indoor "garden" at a mall. After we ate we danced like mad people for a music video. I'm certain we traumatised the locals.

In March 2023 we went to a really cute cafe that had a bunch of floral-flavored beverages and desserts. I had a bunch of rose-flavoured items from their menu.

In Feburary 2023 I had planned a Valentine’s themed meetup for my comm. Unfortunately I came down with c*vid and could not attend. This is what I would have worn if I had gone. 

I love my Sheryl Lacy JSKs and will wear them as often as I can for all eternity. I didn’t have the money to buy one of the re-release JSKs in pink since I spent it all on the black and sax colourways, but I desperately want one as its a different shade of pink from the 2015 Sheryl Lacy JSK II that I have.

In August 2022 we played an Alice in Wonderland themed game of Cluedupp. It's basically a game of clue (or cluedo I guess) but outdoors, using GPS and walking all over several kilometers of downtown city instead of using a game board and game pieces. It's very fun, I've done it 3 times and I do recommend it! I wore a shiro coord, this was my 30°C+ attempt at the white queen.

Oh yeah and I cut all my hair off.

I went to a small Japanese culture convention in a nearby city on October 1. Some friends were hosting a Lolita 101 panel and I wanted to visit them finally instead of them making the drive to visit us. Their panel was lovely, the con was small but very cute, and I bought a lot of mothman merchandise. I wore my absolute unit of a petticoat, which BtSSB Sheryl handles well.

June 2022 we had our yearly rainbow meetup. It happened to fall on ILD this year. I hosted at the classroom at my workplace, and my friend made a rainbow meal for everybody, including a Rainbow Swiss roll. Everything was beautiful.

I wore red (and yellow) for this years meetup. I think red is my favourite colour to wear.

I feel like I have dead eyes in these photos, and I blame the fluorescent lighting.

In February 2022 pastrami restrictions lifted enough to allow us to have an outdoor meetup. We had hot-chocolate and froze our ruffly butts off. I guess it was vaguely valentines themed.

In January 2021 I did a remote twinning with a friend. I used the waist ties to make a criss-cross effect, and also used some ribbon to mimic a harness. My friend wears a lot of gothic and metal/punky looks (harnesses, asymmetric hems, etc) so it was a fun challenge to try to mimic that look with my primarily sweet items.

May 2022, I hosted an Easter-Egg Hunt event. I hand-painted 48 eggs, hid them outside, and gave prizes when they were brought back!

I made a fairly OTT and ridiculous coord for the event. I hand sewed the trims onto the garland sash, which took ages, but turned out great!
