You know, the more I think about BingQiu raising Wei Wuxian, the more I think it would be the funniest fucking thing.

Like, Wei Wuxian is extremely shameless, but he… has limits.

Luo Binghe… does not have limits…

And, the extras imply that Shen Qingqiu is not only extremely indulgent, but that he is occasionally even worse than Binghe. Shen Qingqiu looks at every other man and thinks “not as handsome as Binghe” and looks at every woman and thinks “Binghe really deserves someone more beautiful” and wow I just realized that that’s why he shipped Bing-ge x Liu Mingyan so hard, because Liu Mingyan is canonically the most beautiful person ever and Shen Qingqiu thinks that’s what Binghe deserves-

Anyway, technically every scene ever implies that Shen Qingqiu is incredibly indulgent with his disciples and Binghe specifically. I mean, he does let Binghe hug him in front of anyone and he even brags about how great Binghe is at being a wife being head disciple, so…

I just imagine that, if Shen Qingqiu + Luo Binghe raised Wei Wuxian, honestly, his disregard for his own image makes a lot more sense.

Also, I just think it would be funny if Wei Wuxian was absolutely mortified by how sticky his parents are in public, like jeez, show some restraint, you can’t just kiss your husband in the middle of the road like it’s nothing!!!
