Okay I need to write something abt Ivy's brain overheating n starting to cook her head bc it overworks and there's no way there's enough space in her super computer brain for an efficient cooling system combined with Tim involuntarily salivating and feeling hungry when he smells burning flesh as a hold over from eating corpses during the Moon War. This is no longer a want it is a need.
#Been thinking about this for DAYS but every time I open a word doc I get so frozen with emotions abt them so I end up writing nothing#ivy alexandria#gunpowder tim#the mechanisms#I can't stop thinking about it#picturing something like Tim just chilling in Ivy's library/archives. like he's got a bad migraine and wants to take refuge in the quiet#but he's leafing through a random shelf- not really looking at the titles- as an excuse to be there.#when he smells it#a harsh scent undercuttng the stale and dusty atmosphere and rising until it is as loud and pounding as his thundering heart#logically he knows it isn't actually that strong. but it's been long since they were planetside and even longer since he had to smell that#it's all consuming. and for a long moment he stands frozen.#Stomach sunk in his chest only for Tim to be filled with horror when he realizes he's salivating.#and then all he feels filled with is disgust.#he stumbles through the shelves. Fully aware that it could only be coming from Ivy.#He's not quite sure if it's the scent that draws him or a bastardized version of concern.#Either way she's researching in the exact same spot she was when he came in. He wants to leave but she's right by the door and his own brai#is screaming at him to check for a pulse and bring her back to the microwave victim pile for harvest.#Nevermind he knows they cannot die and knows they have food and even (logically) knows he's no longer in thise lunar tunnels#nvgtdtfhvhdgchvjcv ahhhhh no thoughts head empty just this scenario

how dare stores not sell the exact kind of products I'm looking for
#soooo as i have little to do these days i've started organising various places in my apartment#started with the bathroom cabinets. then the wardrobe#for the past days i've been organising this in-built closet in my bedroom#which i've used to store off-season clothes but also just all sorts of crap (lots of it is different kinds of papers)#however i've been wanting to make it just a closet for off-season clothes (and suitcases etc.)#because i fear all the paper i've been keeping there have been making the air in the closet sort of...musty ugh#but as i've taken out all the random crap and left just the off-season clothes i realise most of the stuff i've been keeping there...#...was all the random crap 🙃 which i have no place to put now 🙃#i mean i have one large cupboard in the kitchen above the fridge that's mostly empty but like that's not very convenient is it lol#some of this stuff i want to keep at hand so i managed to cram something into the tv stand drawers in the living room#but there's still soooooo much stuff that would require a whole another fucking closet#which i don't have!! and while i do have the space for one i want to keep my apartment kinda spacey#so i thought of buying a bench to put in the bedroom and store something in nice-looking boxes under it#and i could put idk a casual throw on the bench to hide the boxes under it and to make it look like a bit more ✨interior design✨ u know lol#but i just absolutely can't find a bench that's 1) the right colour & style 2) has one shelf underneath so the boxes won't be on the floor#i've been so close to having a sexy little meltdown about all this numerous times btw but i've been brave!! believe it or not#sooooooo i don't know what to doooooooooooo i have too much crap with no place to put them in#(and mind you I already got rid of SO MUCH crap)#also does anyone have any tips on where to store rolls of gift wrapping paper 🥱 length 70 cm#the only places out of sight where they fit are this off-season closet and the wardrobe but i don't!! want to!! put them there!!#but i also absolutely do want them out of sight as i use them about 1-3 times a year#i hate owning stuff so much ugh

Y'know sometimes I look on my shelf in my room and see this Bionicle Amalgamate from when I was a kid and I just wonder what the hell I was doing. I can't bring myself to get rid of it though, it just feels wrong.
I probably still have Bionicle pieces somewhere. I know for a fact I don't have the instructions to any of them.
So uhhhh if any Bionicle superfans see this and want to take a crack at identifying some standout pieces, have fun. The only one I can identify is a singular Ben 10 Spidermonkey hand.

the dollar store did not have much for felt or fabric but i managed to scrounge everything i needed except for guz.ma's skin colour :(
i CAN make the janitor since they had a peach colour but I'll have to look around the house again to see if i can find anything that might work for guz's skin tone
#mannn dhfjfl unfortunately mother just did an amazon order the other day too#I could've added a bolt of the right colour felt to her order but i thought the store would have their big selection of felt sheets still 😭#they just had like... a big pile of felt and fabric all mixed together ?? idk what happened to their nice organized shelf :(#and they only had a little bit of felt fjdkdl it was mostly random patterned fabric#which would be fine and fun IF i had the skin bases done already bc then I'd just make silly little clothes for them#but unfortunately i need... the skin bases first fjfkfl to fit the clothing to#i dont have a good yarn colour for him either bc then I'd just crochet a base fhfkdl but AUGHH#I have ... acrylic paint thats the right colour or a little darker i think. and pillows that im going to use for stuffing#so maybe if i take the stuffing out of one of the pillows then i can dye the fabric with acrylic paint ...#I've done that before when i couldnt find the right colour fabric for a project a couple yrs ago#so i know it works decently well 🤔 depends on how sturdy the pillow material is i guess hmmm#i think i might have a spare white pillowcase if the pillow fabric itself isnt sturdy enough ... HMMM this might still be doable#theres nothing like having very little access to supplies bc of money and small town to inspire creativity LMAO#u learn how to do a lot of weird shit dbdhfkfl necessity inspires ingenuity or whatever the saying is#(with all that said - if anyone ever has a craft project theyre stuck on and want help figuring out how to do smth i may be of use LMAO)#dandy.cmd
