NAC: Question for the mods. This is something I've always wondered about, but has reading and making any of the confessions ever intrigued your interest in certain tv shows, movies, or any other type of media? Or have there been any confessions that turned you away from certain media?

Cool question! The answer is YEAHH

The most clear example is RWBY. I learnt about the show from here, and Confession about RWBY made me so curious I watched it! I'm currently on season 4 I think, I'm REALLY enjoying it so far :D feel like the animation has somehow just gotten better and better, and the new outfits are STUNNING, i absolutely adore the shows focus on fashion and creative, iconic character designs. The story is also super interesting and i love the overly quirky, edgy, OC passion project vibes and characters, and how overy cool and edgy it is at times, while other times being overly silly and awkward and quirky. It's so fun!!!! And emotional!!

I've also been much more intrested in someday watching The Owl House, Star trek, Amphibia, She-Ra, Voltron, and to read Percy Jackson.

Media I've been turned away from is definitely Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, all that asoiaf stuff, GOD it just seems so lame and convoluted! And full of uncomfortable awful situations! I'm also even more completely unintrested in Young Sheldon and literally every sitcom ever

It was Valentine’s evening and Lance had invited, you, his fiance to dinner with him to celebrate your third year together. Lance really loved you because ever since he got back from space you didn’t make a big deal about it. Voltron was a barely touched upon topic and when it was, it was usually around the other Paladins.

Lance picked up a quarter to seven, and you opened the door wearing a slimming black (dress/suit). Lance stared at you unabashedly and smiled widely. “Sheldon, you look… great!” he responded slowly, still drinking you in.

“Thank me-- you-- us?” you replied, stumbling over your words already and making you blush intensely at your mistake.

“No need to be nervous, babe. We’ve been together now, for what? Three years,” he grinned, taking you around his arm and leading you down to his car. He pecked your cheek before opening the car door for you.

“Thank you,” you whispered, looking up at him through your lashes.

“Your welcome.”

Lance drove smoothly, turning on the radio softly as he took your hand in his own and smiled over to your. You pulled up to a fancy restaurant and he turned to you.

“So, I know I don’t have much money. Even with all this Voltron stuff but I was finally able to,” he started, pulling out a box and giving your the most delicate ring.

“Oh, Lance,” you replied, tearing up as he slipped the ring onto your finger. When Lance had first proposed it was a ring pop and for a second he was joking but how he said it, how he made you feel, you could never have been mistaken.

They then slipped into the restaurant, Lance calling for the McClain table and the two were escorted to a table in the middle and Lance quickly ordered a bottle of wine for the two. He smiled Sheldon’s way and she smiled back, light conversation taking over the quiet air.

“Merlot,” the waiter presented, firstly pouring it into your glasses before setting it down on the table for the two of you to refill your drinks.

“To us,” Lance raised his glass.

“To us.”

You clinked glasses, a little too hard making the wine and glass spill everywhere. Everyone turned to your table and you sheepishly looked at everyone else. Lance fiddled with his napkin and reached over to help clean Sheldon off but ended up spilling the rest of the wine.

The waiter who had served the two turned to them with an ugly glare, and stomped over to the table. “We’re going to have to ask you to leave, monsieur,” he snootily stated and Lance looked offended he said anything.

“It was an accident!” Lance shouted, the other patrons flinching at his loud voice.

“Does not matter, monsieur. Please leave,” the waiter stated with no room for argument.

“Come on, sweetheart. Let’s go,” you whispered, taking Lance’s arm and started to leave the restaurant. The waiter than cleared his throat and you both turned back to see him holding his hand out. Lance grumbled pulling out a bill and putting it into the man’s hand.

“Run!” Lance shouted, having only put five in his hand.

The two of you ended up at home, laying in a bundle of blankets in only your underwear watching one of the latest movies. You removed your head from where it laid on Lance’s shoulder and smiled at him.

“Now, this is what Valentine’s day should be about.”
