So, I've worked *checks creation date* 9 months on-and-off for making my tumblr banner. I decided to make a post with them (resized) because... I don't know. I'm typically not big on sharing art because it's more of a personal for-me thing. I want to try to be more open to sharing some of it though.

I love the girls so much <3.

My style and general improvements have fluctuated a lot over the last several months so I made a lot of tweaks and finally told myself to just stop and finish it. I don't know how many hours in the end because of this. At least a couple hundred?

Anyway, I'm not necessarily happy with it but I am satisfied.

Yes that's my signature because I've decided to keep it consistent regardless of what blog I'm posting too.

Magi Event week 1: Alma Torran

I came across some cool art for a class project and was thinking of redrawing some of it then yesterday Drawfee posted the video of them redrawing paintings as anime and I LOVED THAT. So i doodled over some (i did it by sketching out the compositions like Karina did and then drawing over them). The Magi one is my favorite and I might color it later but I really liked all of them. I did my best to interpret some of the details to fit the redraw but it’s kinda obvious next to eachother mine aren’t all properly laid out.

Coming of the Apocalypse

Hey. It's been a while since I posted more consistently. Life is stressful though and instead of doing the arguably smart thing, with taking it easy, I've decided the answer to that is posting more (which likely just means once a week instead of once-twice a month). The next thing I needed was to find a focus to keep me motivated. After a little bit of debate (not too much), I said screw it. It's Halloween season. I can be morbid.

The next month then I will be posting with stuff from the Alma Tran arc... because I like to torture myself, apparently.

There are already a couple ideas I've been working with and a WIP. I am eternally wishing for season three but since I don't have it yet, the majority will be manga edits and fan art.

Since the aforementioned s3 hasn't happened yet, I am going to be tagging explicit spoilers with "spoilers" or "magi manga spoilers" or something along those lines. Yeah, I know the manga has been complete for years now. Some people may haven't gotten around to it or have chose not to or unable to read it. It took me a minute to get around to it, and I started Magi a few years after s2 ended myself. If you know the best spoiler tags let me know. I stopped paying attention to the relevant tags at least since the manga came out in full where I lived. I log into tumblr a couple times a week usually, if that, but I promise I'll get around to seeing the advice eventually!

(Only one I have planned so far has explicit spoilers, and that likely won't be the only warning it has. I did say I chose this theme for Halloween specifically.)

In all honesty though, there's equal chance for fluff because I want that in my life. I may post other stuff along the way as well because I've had a few WIPs and am not going to wait a month to avoid posting something off theme.

If this goes well (as in "I can get this done" not "enough notes," sure, I enjoy engagement but I don't worry about that too much), I may start posting more regularly again. It's fun to try to come up with themes or challenges to try and be productive.
