@she-she88 said: How about answering L and G. Thank you.
L: Which of your fanfics was the most emotionally challenging to write?
Within Star Wars, it's not a Han/Leia fic (sorry!) but my Leia-centric Leia/Evaan fic Hold me tight 'cause I'm just holding on for tonight, because it was my first ever sapphic writing, I'd recently come to terms with bisexuality, and it's also about Leia grieving Alderaan.
Within Han/Leia specifically... I'm not sure if it's the most, but Under starless skies we are lost is one I remember from relatively not too long ago. I'd been trying to write about that missing moment for literal years and I finally felt like I got it the way I wanted!
G: If you wrote a sequel to [insert fic], what would it be about?
I have a follow-up wip to Night at the Grand Regent Hotel about the aftermath - Han and Leia basically reckoning with what happened and finding a way to tell each other "so what if we had a date first this time?"
Also, I think it'd be funny to add a third chapter to Hair but it's Leia the one who has a hairstyle disaster or gets it cut or... something.
Thank you!!

@she-she88 asked: Can you please answer #7 and #30? Thank you.
7. What character(s) captured your heart?
Well, I'm only writing Han/Leia fic at the moment and hardly ever include other POVs, so in terms of fic I can't say any character captured my heart - Han and Leia kept a tight hold of it :)
30. What’s something that you want to write in 2024?
I want to finish my wips 😩 The vampire AU is the closest to being finished, even if it took me a long time and a year wasn't enough to finish it, I think I did a good job of committing to it. So I'd really like to tackle The Proposal AU next year in terms of long fic, and then work on a few of the other shorter wips. But of course new ideas will make themselves known...
Thanks!!

@she-she88 wip #12 - Space Tinder is based on this text post I posted last year for fun! People seemed to like it, and before I knew it I already had more ideas for a fic 😄
So yeah, it'd be a fic set in the GFFA, Leia is still a princess and rebel agent, Han is still a smuggler, they get on Space Tinder for *reasons*, match, and chat for a while or even meet (haven't decided yet) but they DON'T hit it off. And then they meet again, in different circumstances...
Also Leia has a girl gang because friends are important.
So far I've only written about 400 words and some notes 😬 So I hope I can make this happen lol. And here's the opening sentence:
To no one’s surprise, eyeblasters and skyfaring was a terrible combination.
Thanks for asking!

@she-she88 replied to your post “Fanfiction Work-In-Progress Guessing Game”:
Sweetheart
From the vampire AU:
‘You’re okay, sweetheart, it’s gonna be okay,’ he muttered, and Leia realized that it was— ‘SOLO! What are you doing now with the lights out, man?’ The dam broke and brightness streamed in again, so fast and sudden that the bands holding her head snapped, and Leia went under.
Thank you!
Send me a word and if it’s in my wip(s) I’ll answer your ask with the sentence that it appears in

Unpopular opinion Han and Leia split because Ben turned to the “dark side” ?
Agreed!! I think it was clear in TFA, and all the supplemental content only confirmed it, that their separation had been recent and motivated by the massive grief that any good parent must feel after learning that their child just up and burnt down his school, murdered fellow students, and then joined a terrorist organization that goes against everything you devoted your life to building. Like I think they could have stuck together through that, and that would have been a better scenario, but I also think it's not unreasonable for that plus the guilt plus poor coping strategies to to fuck you up and drive you apart from your spouse no matter how much you still love them.

@she-she88 replied to your post “Hey guys, I want to try to do a very silly, random...”:
16&13&36
14 Days of Scoundress 2024 ♥ February 2nd
Terribly corny crap
She agreed to this statue, this tribute erected on the main plaza of Hanna City. She agreed to standing here, in person, as speakers and performers parade by. She has been seeing a therapist for a while, even. She’s dealt with this.
So why the fuck can she not get it together?
Leia hasn’t broken, not yet. But she has achieved that by fixing her unblinking eyes on the statue of her parents, with all of two billion names etched on it, until their features blurred, as she tries to trick her brain into thinking she’s staring at nothing but a shapeless mass of ore. Which means that, sooner or later, she’s going to tear up anyway. Exactly what she’s been trying to avoid.
She cannot break in public. Will not. She hasn’t learned how to do it gracefully, for public consumption, and she’s not interested in doing so. Grief is one of the few things that remains hers.
Maybe if her bantha-brain of a husband were actually there to hold her hand like he promised he would be—
Leia grits her teeth, frustrated at herself. No, this isn’t on Han. This is on her, for forgetting what it was like to get by without him. How did she do it before?
By numbing yourself to everything but rage, she reminds herself, and burning the candle at both ends. Tucking it all away until it was safe to crash down.
As if she’s somehow summoned him through the Force, she finally spots Han, pushing through the throng of onlookers at the plaza until he’s at the front. He waves at her and grins when he catches her eye. Even at a distance in her official pod, Leia sees his gaze soften with concern—probably as Han clocks in her expression. Leia doesn’t even want to think what she must look like, her features sitting like a too-tight mask on her face, but it’s all she can do to keep the emotion at bay.
Then he’s waving at her again, making sure she’s looking at him, and brings one hand to his mouth… and blows into it, in her direction.
Leia blinks in confusion. Han brings his hand to his lips a second time—kissing it, she realizes, and flings it exaggeratedly to where she stands, drawing baffled and mildly annoyed looks from his neighbours, most of whom probably don’t recognize him. He does that once more, ending with a sweeping gesture instead. The muscles on her face, which felt locked beyond her help, finally relax, like a trap that’s been disarmed, and she even manages an eyeroll at her husband, who smirks at his success.
What a goof.
Later, he makes his way to her, and the people around her definitely recognize him, giving them a moment of privacy.
Han steps forward, his arms half-raised to embrace her, but she holds her hands up and looks over his shoulder.
‘Wh—?’
‘I’m looking for security,’ she deadpans. ‘I’m calling the cops on you for that terribly corny crap you just pulled.’
‘Ha,’ he says, then huffs a little as Leia throws herself at him, burying her face into his chest, arms tightening around him just for a moment, just to let him know how she’s feeling, the grief that snuck up on her and still demands release, but also the gratitude for him, and his terribly corny crap.
‘It worked. You were supposed to catch it, though.’
‘Was I?’
He presses a kiss into the crown of her head before she steps back. ‘Sorry I couldn’t make it sooner, sweetheart.’
‘That’s alright,’ Leia says, grabbing his hand as they begin to make their way back home. ‘You were right on time.’
******* Prompts:
16: in grief
13: “I’m calling the cops on you for that terrible shit you put me through.”
36: [blowing] a kiss in the air and send of the gesture towards the partner

I know this a dumb question, but how do I get to the Scoundess Saturday fiction?I have tried everyway I can think of and can not read it.Help,please.Thank you.
Hi! It’s not a dumb question, don’t worry :) You mean how can you find all the fic that has been posted for Scoundress Saturday, right?
Since I host it on my blog instead of having a separate blog for it, I’m afraid there isn’t a place where you can see only the fics. You can either check the scoundressaturdays tag and see everything that has been posted to it, or you can go to this tag in my blog that shows you all the masterlists. At the bottom of each of these posts you’ll see all the works labelled by type so it’s easier to pick out the fic from there (they all have links!):

@she-she88 thank you, there you go! I don’t know why all of these are coming out RotJ-angst-flavoured.
22. things you said after it was over
‘Who’s gonna clean up?’
Leia half-raised a heavy head from Han’s shoulder.
‘Hm?’
They sat on a slope overlooking their camp, sharing a moment of respite after the battle, the tending of injuries, the death counts, the capture of prisoners, had been over. Leia felt bone-tired and aching, her shoulder pulsing through the dulling effects of the analgesic, enough to distract her from focusing on any one of the many emotions swirling inside of her.
‘The woods. All the litter from the battle,’ Han answered, pointing his chin down below. ‘We’re not gonna leave them with that, right?’
Giving in to the conversation, Leia straightened up and looked at him. ‘Of course not. You’ve been assigned to the task.’
‘What?’
Leia grinned. ‘Just kidding. I’m surprised you care---I thought you hated the Ewoks.’
‘Well, ‘m not a fan of them after they tried to eat us,’ Han told her grumpily. ‘But they did help. A lot. Lost a lot of their kind. Wouldn’t be fair to leave them with this mess, too.’
Maybe it was a side-effect of her physical and mental state, but Leia suddenly felt like crying. How she had missed her grumpy on the outside, softie on the inside smuggler these past months! And now that she’d gotten him back---
No. Leia hadn’t told him yet about Vader. She needed to talk to Luke first, to make sure he hadn’t been lying, or confused---she had a very strong feeling he hadn’t. But she refused to let herself think of that right now.
‘No, of course not. We’ll help. I’ll make sure of it.’
Han nodded. ‘You okay?’
‘Fine. But I think I’ll need to sleep for several days.’
Han tipped her chin up with a finger and kissed her softly.
‘I’ll make sure of that,’ he told her with a smirk, echoing her words. Smiling, Leia tucked herself against his side and closed her eyes. Everything else could wait for a little while longer.

@she-she88 said: G and Y. Thank you.I love your fictions.
G. A fistfight +  Y. Tears
Han had been in enough fights to be familiar with the way time seemed to slow down to a crawl from the moment someone said the wrong thing and someone else decided they’d had enough, to then speed up into a frenzy as the first blow landed. The surprise element came from who had been the one to start this fight.
Aw, kriff, he thought, staring in disbelief as Leia’s nose flared furiously, her brown eyes blazing, her fists balled tightly at her sides.
It had been a solid punch, he’d give her that, but the other woman didn’t seem to be a stranger to getting in trouble---that much was clear, since she’d gone and poked the hornet’s nest---and after making a quick recovery, she charged.
He had to get them out of there fast. His eyes followed the women’s movements for an opening---he’d seen Leia fighting without a blaster before, but it had always been about survival, trying to find the quickest way to take down the enemy and get out. There was something else now, something Han knew too well.
Still, he couldn’t wait for her to get it out of her system. In a split second, he whipped out his blaster and stunned the quarrelsome patron, lunged at Leia and threw her over his shoulder, and fled through a back exit as outraged yelling rose in the cantina. People accusing them of a dirty fight were the least of his problems, though: for one, after her initial shock, Leia had begun pounding at his back. After a couple of blocks of having his back used as a punching bag, he understood what Leia was actually yelling at him.
‘WE’RE BEING CHASED, HAN, PUT ME DOWN OR GIVE ME MY BLASTER NOW!’
Han didn’t have a chance to check on Leia until after they had outran their pursuers and gotten an emergency lift from Chewie. If word had not gotten out yet that Princess Leia was picking rows in a seedy cantina of a backwater planet, it would very soon---or Han was the lost King of Corellia.
Now that adrenaline had worn off, Leia looked as if she had been the one to get a stun bolt as she sat in the main hold. She had a cut near one of her eyebrows, a bruise on her cheek, and the pale skin of her neck sported a couple of finger-shaped bruises, too. Without a word, he rummaged through the medkit and grabbed an ice pack and some small bactapads.
‘Here, you’re lookin’ a bit banged up, Your Worship,’ he said, throwing the stuff lightly on the Dejarik table.
Leia winced, but looked up at him and tried to smirk.
‘You should have seen the other guy.’
‘I did,’ Han said dryly, although his mouth twitched. He was pretty sure Leia had broken the other woman’s nose. ‘You hurt anywhere else? Want the scanner?’
‘Just bruised. We didn’t have enough time to do much damage.’
‘You’re welcome,’ he said, making her snort lightly. Suddenly, she blinked, and Han noticed her eyes were watery as she stared at her hands, spread out on the table.
‘I’d never done that before,’ she whispered, blinking; a tear rolled down her cheek. ‘I don’t know what came over me. Punching a stranger in a bar just because she---’
Han thought back to the loud-mouthed woman from the cantina telling everyone who would listen (and those who wouldn’t) about how Alderaan got what they deserved. As much anger as he knew Leia could possess, he would have never imagined she would react.
‘Hey, I get it,’ Han told her, sitting down next to her. ‘Hard not to punch, that one.’
‘It’s not that. I’m not that kind of person, Han,’ she said, looking at him.
You shoot people and plant bombs and steal ships of cargo, but you draw the line at fistfights? Han wanted to ask. Instead, he shrugged and said, ‘I thought that was badass.’
‘Of course you would,’ Leia said with an eye roll, but he also got a glimpse of a smile before she grabbed the ice pack and pressed it against her cheekbone.

Send me a letter from this list and I’ll write you a short fic!
