HELL YEAH 8 YEARS OF WRITING AISLING AND I FINALLY GET TO TALK ABT HER TEA PREFERENCES!!!

okay so !! she has a very specific brand of tea when it comes to her daily normal cup, and that is lyons' original blend. she takes two tea bags and steeps them in a scalded teapot (it's one that i like to think victor made in a pottery class and got drayden to paint like a sunset!) for seven minutes (not several, seven; she's v v precise about this)

then she pours it, usually there's two handy-sized mugs of tea in the pot, bc she only takes a little splash of milk, no sugar. she always drinks the first cup while sitting with the kids as they eat breakfast together, and the second cup is enjoyed downstairs with the squad as they prepare for the day shift.

she has been known to enjoy chamomile! but it's more of a red flag that signals when she's particularly frantic or stressed or anxious. she also has started to drink a lot of masala chai with ajay (in ireland) and advik (in new york), and tina and sam have also gotten in on the masala chai too.
