Im sooo bad at explaining characters' personalities because I think I'm just like better at showing how they act thru art? (So i neeed to draw him more hehe) But obviously he's a very neurotic person hahaha, though veryyy amplified by The Stuff going on, obviously.

He's super close to his mom and I think she's like the main motivation he just keeps going and 'fighting'. Because he's so so so scared of anything bad happening to her. I imagine his father died when he was very young, like too young to really remember him well, but I think that kinda amplifies this fear of losing his mom too.

He's not much of a fighter, like he just runs and hides or lets Cas and Gabe protect him if he can lol. I don't think he sees himself as like a strong person/someone who stands a chance in a fight. He's also not ashamed of like relying on others to protect him and making himself useful in other ways. But at the same time if you have him cornered or he Has to fight back or protect someone he loves, he goes batshit crazy and fights for his life, just high on adrenaline.

I think David is very much like 'Just do it scared' regarding the book 1 events. Like if you compare him to Ripley, Ripley in a weird way still has some fun doing a lot of the stuff, like breaking into mom's office, spying on the Creator etc. Like in the end she enjoys the thrill, sometimes even forgets what's at stake. Meanwhile David is just Scared shitless the whole time and Cas and Gabe are the ones having to sorta ground him sometimes. Or crack a joke to distract him. And before shit really gets Crazy they try to keep him busy a lot to distract him a bit, which helps, like hanging out with him and showing him cool vampire stuff.

When he's not actively freaking out he's generally a very gentle guy, he's good at talking to people and he does like playfully teasing people and stuff. He's very affectionate even with friends. I think when someone is rude to him he has a surprisingly sharp tongue and he can kinda impulsively bite back. Afterwards thinking like 'oh my god why did I say that??'

Also while being terrified of vampires, at the same time he still has that curiosity that canon ID mc has and feels drawn to it all. Like I imagine he definitely keeps a little journal where he notes down everything he learns. Still a bit fear driven though, because it'll be useful when he has to protect himself, to know their weaknesses.

The act of drinking vampire's blood is rly gross to him and he'll only do it when he really has to. And he's always a bit of a little bitch about it like 'eww ew ew ok.. im gonna do it.... 😖' While Cas is just standing there like pls thats like 10 drops max... But David loveees giving vampires his blood like not even in a way like 'this is hot' but just cause he's a nurturing person and likes taking care of people, especially those he loves.

I only romanced Cas with him, initially he's terrified of him but he also intrigued by him + I think he's very weak to this whole idea of like. Ok u have this guy who tends to just be a cunt to Everyone but ur special and he likes u cuz ur his special boy... I think he really is weak to that whole 'ur not like the other humans' thing 💀. Cas enjoys startling and teasing him, or just in general putting David into situations where he'll get spooked. Especially because David's the type of person to grab onto him for comfort or straight up jump in his arms 😭😭. Other times he turns around and slaps him in the chest like 'STOPP IT!! YOU MENACE!!!' (Also funny reaction he enjoys getting out of him) I think initially he thinks he's cute and it's funny to tease him + he enjoys seeing Gabriel freak out when he's around David, but then for real starts falling for him quickly ughhh. Like I think initially Cas thinks David is a bit of a lame pissbaby but then he starts liking him like That For Real and it becomes endearing and he just want to protect him 🤢 embarassing. David doesn't like the whole hunting and eating humans thing, but he's more like 'I can fix him' about it LMAO. And has a weird sense of denial over it all because the one time he saw it happen with his own eyes, Cas killed that girl to cover for Seth.

David and Gabriel are just more like really really close friends. I think for a bit he has a bit of a crush on Gabriel because of the whole protective act, which makes David twirl his hair and kick his legs lol 😭 but I don't think they ever went beyond just playfully flirting with each other. I think they were Meant To Be but like as friends? Friend Soulmates?? A lot of people probably still think they're a couple because they walk around holding hands and they're always sitting in each others bubble and stuff.

Umm I think where his AU gets most interesting is when he and his mom reunite again. Because they actually wouldn't leave each others side again, he stays with her while evacuating people to the hospital. And after that she accompanies him back to the school. And once the time comes where in canon MC decides to sacrifice themselves, in David's story it's his mom who's like 'I'm your mom, it's My job to protect You, I've lived a whole life already, it's okay, I'll die happy knowing I could save you.' And David would really protest against this, but Cas and Gabe are just like 'Please let her do this for you' and they go through with it while locking David out of the room as they inject the blood n stuff. And hold him back as his mom leaves to go confront the creator. And as she lays dying David would force them both to turn her. Idk yet where it goes from there lol, like if he'll lose his memory along with the other humans or not.

You're slowly roused from sleep by the cold, Jim assumedly hogging the blanket (Though that's not a thing he does, he usually doesn't even care about the blanket) so you sit up turn your head to look down at him; And immediately you wince.

"Oh, no... "

With his good hand clamped over his own mouth and his skin looking pale, its obvious exactly what he's dreaming about. His eyebrows are furrowed in his sleep and the lines in his forehead and the bridge of his nose are deep, his breathing is haggard and you know it has to be a nightmare.

This has happened before, ever since that trip back to Blackwater you wish he hadn't taken, and every time seems even worse then the one before. And they change him; The bags under his eyes haven't ever been deeper then they are these days; at least not as long as you've known him.

The worst part is knowing you cant wake him up, you can just be useless there beside him wondering what he's seeing. What part of him the teeth are ripping apart this time. Whether he's getting out alive, this time.

Taking a deep breath yourself, you carefully peel his fingers off his mouth so he can breath properly, holding it tight in your own hand instead. And then you just sit there, in the dark (The only light in the room being what the moon creates, coming in through the window Jim broke a couple days ago.), squeezing his hand and hoping he'll wake up soon. That he'll wake up.

When finally he lurches up beside you, breathing heavily as he wakes up and crushing your fingers so hard his knuckles go white and so do yours, you just let him calm down on his own. Just hold his hand and try to give him space while not giving him space at all; wanting him to have room, but not wanting him to feel alone. You're right here and you're not going anywhere. You feel absolutely useless, but... you're not going anywhere.

A few heavy moments pass where he just breaths, and you just watch him with worry-filled eyes, until the pulse you can feel in his wrist returns to close-to-normal, and you give his hand one final, hard squeeze before letting it go. Instead you silently enfold enfold him in your arms, him immediately dissolving into you; wrapping his arms around your waist and burying his face into your shoulder, slowly taking some more relaxed breaths.

"Heh... not a fan of those nightmares peanut but I gotta say I like the service I get afterwards."

"... are you okay?... "

"I'm fine." He always says he's fine, but fine would mean no more nightmares. Jim says that he's fine when he has shrapnel in his knuckles, Jim said he was fine the other day after he fell off the roof- you do not trust his fine, at all. "... you're fine?" You ask, an obviously-dubious look on your face as you lean back and tilt your head at him.

He's nuts, but you kinda love him for it. "How about water, and some ice cream?"

Eyes hardening, Jim gives you a 'you cant fix my liver' kind of look. You're very familiar with it; It makes you want to laugh. "How about homebrew and ice cream?- and, also, where the hell are we gettin' this ice cream from missy?? I didn't think we had any more. “she’s my cousin. she’s gonna be staying at my house for a while.” kiara announces to the rest of the pogues as they make their way into the wreck in hopes of finding some food. little did the friends know that y/n, the girl that kiara was talking about had already arrived and was eating at the wreck after a long day of traveling to the obx.

“hey kie.. long time no see yea?” says the girl in the restaurant as she stands up from her table where she is eating with a slight chuckle and smile.

1. Hotch - They put this guy into Hell and have refused to let him climb back out. He was crazy for trying to fist fight a serial killer that one time. Crazy guy. Back to the torment nexus with you.

2. JJ - I USED TO PRAY FOR DAYS LIKE THESE! The development of her character & general use of her job the last two seasons has been so good. every time its a JJ episode i go YAY JJ EPISODE and giggle and kick my feet. She should still get to hit more people I stand by that.

3. Morgan - From last to third good lord what happened. idk. they broke him from his snob meanie chains and let him be a person with emotions and a heart. He cares abt people now and i like watching him care about people.

4. Reid - I dunno if it was intentional writing or not but seeing him start having spirals & struggles specifically after Gideon left is great. Guy with problems and issues and so many fun facts about murder to share. Glad he's here.

5. Penelope - YIPPEEE!!! She got her development! Oh no! It falls into looping tropes and she's barely given a life outside of her room (and when she is its with a guy whos associated with that life...). But i loveee her still i want her carnally i think she should shut down the govt. for fun.

6. Emily - IM TRYING TO LIKE HER i swear im pushing Elle as far out of my mind as I can but god i just cant stand her writing. She's always perfect until she isnt but then when she isnt shes just Whiny. They dropped peak and didnt know what to do in place of Elle so they've just been fumbling Em around for two seasons like a cardboard cutout.

7. Rossi - I want him dead. I want him thrown into a woodchipper. I want him eaten alive by lions. ANYTHING. to make him gone. He keeps doing insane over the line shit and then it gets written like he's the good guy for it who doesnt deserve to be punished. He's had like six lessons in teamwork. That is too many. Grow up. Also stop trying to solve ur coworkers religious trauma what the fuck was that.

Fave episode of s2 was "Lessons Learned". Obviously a very outdated episode but the crime solving was really good. Fave episode of s3 was "Seven Seconds". Lots of twists and turns, very heartbreaking.

so going in i was certainly expecting a PRETTY movie but not expecting anything much from the story……pokemon did an “alternative take on the main characters’ origins” movie too that was fun to watch once but nothing super memorable. PLUS you gotta take everything in ML with massive grains of salt to begin with. BUT!!! I WAS BEYOND PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!!!! WOW !!!!!!! i was NOT expecting them to actually wrap up the love square or the hawk moth conflict in a single film, let alone in a way that actually felt satisfying for every character involved. it felt like a huge callback to season 1 in the best way……everyone’s early-show characterizations are back, the ladynoir dynamic is super tastefully written and fun to watch, and overall it’s just a super sweet unapologetically earnest cornball of a movie. did you know that they are in love? they’re in loveee 😭😭

AND GABRIEL. OH MY GOD. HOLY SHIT. FUUUCCCK!!!!!! HIS EVERYTHING. because like. i love him forever and ever to the end of time in all forms Always. season 5 is insanely funny to me. but this man did NOT start as a heartless megalomaniacal asshole who turns his son into a vtuber and attacks random passerby on the street and buys twitter. he was just an extremely emotionally neglectful weirdguy once. we used to be able to go to his house and beg him to let adrien go to a birthday party and he’d break just a little and say yes. he was SO sad. and blonde. the filmmakers understood this. they brought us back to what we used to have. and then they gave us more by making him SO unbelievably mentally ill. saying he’s busy because he needs to go stand in a corner and brood. having meltdowns on the daily. passing out on the floor. CANONICALLY suicidal. jesus christ. but he’s ALSO still Hawk Moth bitch!!! he’s goofy and campy and a ham without the weight of Being Gabriel on him. being evil is awesome and fun actually. torment and hatred forever <3 and then they do a good job of showing how he falls further into it over time until he’s doing actually outrageous evil shit and attempting murder and going crazy and he’s SCARYY and gets the upper hand super easily and you’re like Good lord he is going to KILL these children. but then the power of love saves him because we do remember that he still has a soul. he takes the L and goes to jail while keeping his Shady Tendencies. that’s what i thought was gonna happen in the show too, once,

also i didn’t know it was a musical going in!! that was a magical surprise!! and then i was like Oh thank god they’re not making Bryce Papenbrook sing. and i was hoping and praying and begging that gabriel would get a song for obvious reasons, and also because i KNEW that if any VA was going to get to stay for that it was going to be Keith Silverstein. and sure enough he completely bodies the villain number and they even gave him a high note to hit!!! ohhh my god. INSANE moments in victor quarterdollar history. it Was weird that they dubbed cristina vee though. she does have a nice voice, i listen to her music. but other than that very good decisions across the board. exploded. died. will be watching again

I don’t actually know. I’m always attracted to characters who kind of just get thrown under the bus, and also as a certified Jan Van Eck hater I really empathize with the betrayal she feels, because I also feel incredibly betrayed by van eck in many ways. Yay!! Also I don’t really have much knowledge about her, and the speculation about her in my head goes crazy.
