I tried to portray (what I think are) their biggest flaws (Ego, envy, esteem)

Also, I tried to show more about their flaws with their eye levels

Void believes he's better than everyone, looking down upon them.

Andromeda sees Stellar at eye level, seeing her as an equal, or a reflection of what her life could've been if she was saved.

Polarity is looking down at himself, feeling he's worthless when compared to his more able siblings, despite being the one who tries the hardest.

A while ago I ordered a yoshino cherry tree from a dubious online shop and it arrived looking like just a stick in some dirt, and I've just been watering my Dirt Stick for weeks on a wing and a prayer, tenderly caring for my precious Stick, loving and believing in my Stick.

And then on the coldest day of the year so far, she started to bud :)

some Sonic redesigns just for fun! the classic era has never really been my arena, but I like a lot of the characters, so I thought it would be neat to imagine how my favs might look if they were reintroduced in the modern era <3

the way I picture them, Bean and Bark are guns-for-hire who try really hard to come off as scary, competent villains in their own right. however they're really not all that evil and they have an unfortunate habit of turning on their employers mid-scheme because they end up feeling guilty ... they've definitely blown up a couple mob bosses who kicked one too many puppies. their craigslist reviews are woefully in the red 😔

Honey is a former aspiring fashion designer who invested way too much money in a business that never took off. now she's trying to get out of debt by working for Bean and Bark as their agent. she is on her hands and knees begging them to burn down just one little orphanage to prove they're real bad guys so some of the big shot villains will finally call them back, but Bean and Bark keep telling her being mean is Not nice

also they're all old pals with Sonic. they do more good than harm trying and failing to be evil, so he just kind of leaves them alone to do their thing. they're honorary heroes in his mind 👍
