I'm once again thinking about the missed opportunities to have Klaus and Kol bond more. Part of Klaus' whole motivation as a vampire is to get his werewolf part back and to finally be stronger than Mikael (sort of, I'm simplifying) both of which can be obtained by breaking his curse. But Kol? Kol is the only other original that can relate to having a fundamental part of themself ripped away from them. Klaus might not have known he was a werewolf until he killed, but he likely still had a connection he couldn't explain, as evident by him going to watch the wolves transform. And something he'd never been able to explain was now gone. He might only be able to realise the connection afterwards through its absence.
Kol though. Kol had grown up with magic, a connection to nature and the world around him in a way the rest of his siblings supposedly didn't have. And then he gets turned. And not only has his baby brother died, his father has just murdered him and the rest of his siblings after forcing them to drink human blood, which he'll later learn. Now, not only does he have to deal with the grief of Henrik's death and also his own but also the loss of his magic. A loss that's likely only worsened by Kol being a self-proclaimed child prodigy.
Kol is pretty much the only one who could understand what Klaus is going through with the binding of his wolf. We know Kol searched for ways to get his magic back/carry on practicing magic in the same way that Klaus was looking for ways to break his curse. While Klaus likely could still feel his wolf there despite being bound, Kol has no access to his magic anymore. I just think they should've been able to bond or connect over their shared loss of an intrinsic aspect of their selves at the hands of their parents

more btvs toh au stuff
their relationship goes very smoothly and well, yep absolutely (in denial about the lore I myself wrote… also still a bit unsure about it)
willows human disguise was really fun for me, cause like yeah she has to use a hat for her ears cause they are both pretty big and just hard to blame on a syndrome or something. Luckily her wings are small enough to fit under a small cardigan, tho it isn’t too comfortable. She also always has to wear pretty large pants so that she can hide her tail.
also about willows hair if anyones wondered why I draw it like I do, just simply cause like so many of the women in this show has just long straight hair, I needed someone to stick out, and I definitely couldn’t have the 2 mcs have the same hair so I decided on that based on just an extreme version of her hair in s4. She probably had it longer in s1, then chopped it off in s2 just like amity dyed hers.
and yes I am aware buffy has also has short hair, well she’s gonna cut it short during the time skip between 2 and 3. Cause luz in s3 of toh parallels pretty nicely to buffy in s6 of btvs

I actually have the same headcanon about Alcina's blood disease being hemophilia as well actually, it also ties into my headcanon about why she couldn't have biological children, with the limited medical technology in the 30s-40s, it probably would've been a lot harder for her to survive as much blood loss as she would've during childbirth if what made her disease deadly was her bleeding out, while it MIGHT'VE been possible for her to survive, the chances probably would've been very low, one of the things I headcanon about her is she didn't just want a child period, she wanted to be able to raise it, if she knew there was a risk of her dying before ever getting to possibly even SEE her child, I don't think she'd take it, especially knowing it's probably either just gonna wind up probably traumatized from the foster system, or wind up with the bio dad and probably raised with sexist views from the time, I don't think she'd want to bring a child into the world if she wasn't able to raise it the way she wanted it to be raised herself.
This is actually a very good point.
It would also actually give her a decent reason for agreeing to Mother Miranda's idea of the Cadou. If we assume Miranda presented it as a type of "cure all", that it would "Fix" Alcina's problem and allow her to have children or do whatever she please, especially in a time like the 40s, Alcina probably would've taken it in a heartbeat.
And the thing is Miranda didn't necessarily lie. The Cadou did technically "cure" Alcina's blood disease. Or at the very least it stopped it from affecting her in any way that matters, since she can't bleed out or anything anymore. (Other side effects of being infected with potentially dangerous mold aside..) Though I think by that point she'd given up on the idea of biological children. She was in her mid-40s and probably would be seen by most as "too old". (Nevermind she probably didn't want to go through the ordeal of sex with a man anyway)
Plus I feel like mold mutations probably causes some kind of infertility.
Though she does get her daughters in the end. So it all works out.
