Thoughts on wuk lamat

as i said, i have not actually played dawntrail yet, so i haven't met her. on principle i try not to make strong judgements on characters i haven't personally encountered in media, especially if they've gotten as much fandom backlash as wuk lamat has. it's always better to come to conclusions yourself rather than follow a (possibly arbitrary and, dare i say it, stupid) crowd.

that being said... she's neat. i like her, and i like what i've seen from fanart and clips so far. from what i've gathered online, most of the hate towards her seems REALLY overblown and perhaps to do with the fact she's a prominent female character a-la lyse, who is also overhated, but i digress

#and yes i know she shows up in the endwalker patches as well.#however. i have also... not actually finished endwalker yet?#(i Will. eventually. once im done with my break from the game)#so. lol. lmao even.#ask #ffxiv #everytime a fandom starts a massive hatedom for a female character i especially give it a sideeye by default #bc a lot of the time it's just like. thinly veiled misogyny lmao #wuk lamat seems neat. like i said i havent met her but from what i HAVE seen she seems harmless enough #she's just a catwoman that goes :D. i respect her hustle. also i want her to top me. who said that
