I also read Undertale stuff but for the past like 6months I've been in the throws of a cod hyperfixation. Probably won't post anything about Undertale here, this is mostly a cod blog.

I write a LOT of yandere/obsessive/possesive/unhealthy behavior stuff. Most of my works will contain some amount of obsessive behavior if it's not outright yandere. I will still tag and give tw for that but you've been warned.

I also don't really write x reader, mostly just bc I can't. Nothing against ppl who can, more power to them, especially since x reader is what seems to be the most popular, and I enjoy reading it too but can't get behind writing you/your pronouns so most of my stuff will be fem oc's. I reuse names a lot, like Freya and Vera and Lexi and Mercy and Scarlett.

Unless implied otherwise, most of my characters will be chubby/thick bc I am too! Even if I never directly mention size, it's safe to assume the female main character is packing on a couple extra pounds. I'll commonly refer to characters as being thick, like having thick thighs or soft tummies or big rounded ass's. If thinks like that bother you my writing might not be for you, sorry!

The Woman From the Sea

Here is the previous part. Here is the beginning.

4. Warmth

The Woman From the Sea awakens on a blue couch.

After blinking for a few moments she sits up carefully, her muscles tender and sore. The room is filled with weak afternoon sunlight, refracting off a thousand drifting motes in the air. Her host is very kind, she decides, but isn’t particularly scrupulous about housecleaning.

She looks about. The room is low and warm and comfortable. She thinks she likes it. The wallpaper is a obviously decades old and ridiculously unfashionable. There is a worn-out armchair nearby that does not match the couch, and a low table covered in books in front of her: she can see The Remains of the Day and The Lace Reader and The Cold Dish and a big book of cryptic crosswords. Over the back of her couch she can see a low bookcase crammed with even more titles. The furniture is angled to face a fireplace of white brick that seems to have been converted to gas. It is still on, and this must be why she feels so warm and lethargic.

No. That’s not why. She was in the ocean. She was consumed in black water. She swam. For hours. But that’s not right, even in summer the cold Atlantic should have begun to affect her muscles, promote lethargy, she ought to have drowned, how could…?

“Oh hey! You’re awake. You hungry?” the woman who lives here is standing in the doorway, taking off a long winter coat.  She is tall and brown and handsome, with a head of tangled black hair. Like some Greek Goddess of the Hunt. An attendant to Artemis. “Dottie…?” and the Woman From the Sea realises she has been staring.

“Oh! Yes, sorry. Yes, I am hungry,” and she suddenly realises she is ravenous. “I am so very hungry!” she says, surprised.

The tall woman laughs. It’s a nice laugh. “Okay then. Well, out here almost everything is outta a can but I’ll see what we can throw together. You okay with red beans?” She turns to hang her coat up somewhere out of sight, then comes in and perches on the armchair. Her legs are very long. And her socks don’t match. And she has kept her gloves on.

“Oh, um, yes. Red beans are fine. Sorry, ‘out here’? Where are we?”

“Oh right, yeah. So this is the lighthouse on Grey’s Rock.” Seeing the Woman From the Sea staring uncomprehendingly at her she adds, “Just outside of Massachusetts Bay. Cape Cod is about fifteen miles south of us. Boston’s almost thirty miles west.”

“A lighthouse?” says the Woman From the Sea, looking around her again.

“Yeah. On a tiny rock in the Atlantic. And for three weeks out of every four I’m the lighthouse keeper. Jane.”

“What? No, Dottie,” says the Woman From the Sea quickly.

“I’m Jane,” says Jane.

“Oh! Yes, that makes sense.”

“Does it? Oh good,” says Jane, amused.

“What am I wearing?” wonders the Woman From the Sea, pulling away the blanket — three blankets she now sees, no wonder she’s perspiring.

“Oh, uh, yeah, I had to dress you in some of my stuff last night. Get you warmed up. That dress you had on is hanging in the laundry, but I think it’s kind of ruined, sorry. It must have been lovely.”

“It was a Suzanne Beausoleil,” says the Woman From the Sea absently as she peels off a sweater.

“Yeah. Well, probably not the most practical thing to wear around here anyway.”

The Woman From the Sea laughs. “Probably not. This shirt says ‘BPD’. The Boston police department?”

“Yeah,” says Jane heading back to the door. “Rice and beans coming up. And then we can talk about you. I gotta send in a full report to the coast guard so they can let your people know where you are and arrange to get you picked up.” She disappears further into the house and the Woman From the Sea stares after her blankly.

Okay so I stumbled upon your post of Ghost distracting himself from feelings for Sunshine by sleeping with someone else, and I just. Mwah. You’re amazing.

It made me hurt my own feelings with another thought…Reader with Borderline Personality Disorder who splits on him for betraying her, and she goes into intense blind rages, self destructive episodes, etc. at the prospect of abandonment.

Personally, I have BPD, and basically lose all sense of humanity when I face abandonment and split on someone—and I def feel like I’d scare away any of the COD men (or anyone ever) really fast. Just some tragic, heartbreaking, angsty food for thought 🤭 🤭

Dude that's so wild! I don't know anything about BPD so I can't write about it but that'd be so fucking insane to read and imagine!

Hi, I'm Jean, pronounced like John (almost). My pronouns are they/them, I'm nonbinary, I'm gay, and I'm an adult in my 20's. I'm the host of the system; I once believed I was the core. I front the most and I’m one of the first alters. I'm also French! But I do live in the US now with my wonderful partner and our two children. I'm intersex, but technically speaking I'm amab, but like I said I identify as nonbinary. I do present more feminine though, but please do not use she/her pronouns for me. I experience dysphoria for anybody curious. I'm still learning a lot about systems and DID in general and hoping we can get a diagnosis soon. I do run the majority of the sideblogs but that's because I made most of them before I realized we were a system. Right now I'm diagnosed with C-PTSD, schizophrenia, and BPD. I'm also hypersexual. I've struggled in the past with addiction but lately I've been clean. I do age regress (I have a blog for that) and I do practice witchcraft (got a blog for that too). I love baking, cooking, soft things, minecraft, COD WWII, Halo, Sims 4, reading and writing poetry and fiction, makeup, and much more. My favorite color is orange; but I also like deep sea blue, minty blue, anything glitter, and pinks! I like a lot of different music but lately I've gotten into the band The 1975. If anybody wants to know anything else about me just ask! I'm excited for this blog because I think we'll be able to be very open about everything (yes including trauma) and we can become closer as a system and learn more about DID and ourselves. ^.^
