Meet the gang!Donald “Big boss” O’brian Donald O’brian is the head of the gang and is best known for his loan sharking and making deals of all kinds, including the one he made with Thomas Fitzgearld. He carries three guns hidden on his person at all times and is usually a fair boss but can be quite ruthless. He is the father of two, Siofra and Maria and is training Siofra to take over the gang when he dies. He is 58 years old and is a straight, cis-man and is an ally. He was childhood friends with Mathew Davidson since they were both quite young. He values loyalty and his alignment is neutral evil Siofra O’brian Siofra O’brian is the daughter of Donald O’brian and is a renowned daddy’s girl, being able to make him do basically anything she wants. She is known for her cruel streak and most of the gang is dreading her taking power. She is a salad cook in the cafe but basically never works, leaving the others to do everything. She is married to Matty O’brian, and her sister is Maria O’brian. She is a lesbian cis-woman and is 28 years older, making her the older sister. She carries a gun on the inside of her jacket and is great at talking to the police. She is quick to change loyalties and heer alignment is lawful evil Matthew “the bookkeeper” Davidson Matthew Davidson is the consigliere and bookkeeper for the mob, he is close friends and the advisor of Donald O’brian. He is a smart book worm and also manages the cafe and its finances, constantly finding ways to sneak in the costs and rewards of their mafia. He has high functioning autism and always keeps a pen behind his ear, he also carries a small gun in his pocket for emergencies. He is a widowed father of Dalia and Adam Davidson, his wife having been killed in a shootout a few years back. He is only loyal to his friends and his alignment is lawful neutral. Vlad “The muscle” Strongall Vlad Strongall is the chef at the cafe and the muscle for the gang. He is a classic, stoic strong man who doesn’t care anymore. His family lives far off in Vegas, America. He is a cis-man and is aromantic and asexual. He is 36 and carries a gun on his belt. His loyalty can be bought and sold and he is true neutral in alignment. Luke “The distraction” O’malley Luke O’mally, also known as Lucinda is the distraction for the mob. Distracting their opponents when gambling and sings and also helps wait tables sometimes at the cafe. He is a Demi-boy (He/they) pansexual drag queen who is 25 years old. His parents live in an apartment in town and he has to pay their rent for them. He has a switchblade hidden in his dress in case something goes wrong, he also wears a wig when preforming as Lucinda. He is fiercely loyal and is neutral good in alignment. Sean “The gambler” Brady

Sean Brady is an amazing gambler and magician, being very proficient at slight of hand and cheating. He preforms magic shows sometimes when Luke is busy but is mainly a waiter at the cafe. He is proudly banned from every casino in Los Vegas and thinks his cape where he hides his gun and knife is very cool. He is a bisexual transman (He/him) and is 32 years old. He isn’t a very loyal guy and is chaotic neutral in alignment.

Thomas “The drunk” Fitzgerald

Thomas Fitzgerald is an assassin and barista for the cafe, her MO is poisoning Vodka and drinks in general. They are constantly drunk and carry a bottle of vodka, arsenic and a gun in their pockets at all times. They are genderfluid (any/all but prefers he/him usually) and questioning their sexuality. He is dating Luke but they try, badly, to hide their relationship from the others. They aren’t serious what so ever and constantly goofing off, regularly ‘accidently’ poising random coffees they serve, including one they tried to serve Donald, but was caught and made a deal for his life. They are proficient with a sniper but don’t use it that often. He is chaotic evil and is only loyal to Luke

Finding out S/o is like a Mafia boss HC

Riddle Rosehearts

Riddle is a little shocked when he finds out. There are no explicit rules against it, but he just cannot shake the gut feeling that it is not entirely right, the whole concept reminds him a little of Azul, and he does not truly trust the Octavinelle dormleader and his shenanigans.

Then again, he does know Azul is all about hard work, and that also is one of the traits he respects and admires so much in you as well. If anything, your hard work and dedication are some of the things that made him fall for you in the first place, he just didn’t know you were using them for such ends.

Give him some time to get used to the idea. He will come around eventually, because he does learn soon enough that this knowledge does not necessarily change the relationship or the dynamics, which is something he was a little afraid of.

It does also explain why dates usually have to be carefully planned out. Initially, you managed to blame it on his tight schedule set in rules, but it was also partially because you had your own business to go on about. Now that the cat is out of the bag, it becomes a little easier to plan outings, actually improving your relationship a little.

All in all, after some time, things return to your usual routines, and it’s almost as if nothing changed at all, besides some improvements. Riddle helps to keep your moral compass calibrated, and you can use your power to cut him some slack every once in a while. Honestly, a win/win for you both.

Azul Ashengrotto

If this comes as a shock to Azul, he surely doesn’t let it show. Chances are big he already knew, or at the very least had some suspicions. It takes one to know one is very fitting in this context.

From the moment he suspected something was going on, the gears in his head were already grinding: surely there would be a way for the both of you to build a little empire on campus, no? It would be nothing but beneficial for both of you.

This makes you a power couple to be reckoned with, and once you figure out the logistics -none of you want to be the boss of the other or actually lose things of their own territory- it’s over for Crowley and the rest of NRC.

Whenever anyone needs anything done, they know to come to you or to Azul. Whichever territory suits someone’s needs better, is who you’ll send them to.

It doesn’t truly affect your relationship much, besides the fact that you actually spend more time together. It’s split evenly between business time and couple time, although you sometimes have to reign in Azul and remind him to relax and spend some more of the time as a couple, just because that’s the most fun, and he does need to relax every once in a while.

If you need any help, or if any subordinates and lakeys are not doing as they should, fear not: Jade and Floyd become as loyal to you as they are to Azul. You’re basically a set, and they do not want to get on Azul’s bad side by getting you into trouble.

Even after graduation, you keep the traditions up, so the magic world better be looking out for you two.

Malleus Draconia

Malleus always knew something was off, but never truly bothered to ask about it. He wondered why you appeared to be so fearless, why you weren’t scared of him like so many other people were.

When he finds out you have quite a lot of power -and thus quite a lot of people scared or intimidated by you, warranted or not- it all starts making sense to him. You hang out with him, because you know, that just like yourself, power does not dictate character.

He is generally very glad about all this, the boost to your confidence makes you true partners, which is something Malleus very much needs and desires, since most people around him generally put themselves in a more subservient role.

He does have a lot of questions, as he does with many things. He is very interested in knowing how you came to be so influential, and what your end goals might be. Whatever they are, he is more than willing to help you.

Having Malleus for a boyfriend out in the open is also another way to make your business bloom. Nobody wanted to mess with you in the first place, but most of the poor souls that thought they had a chance messing with you, are scared away by the idea that Malleus has your back as well.

Malleus is just generally very supportive, offering help or whatever you need, but just as easily letting you do your own thing. He doesn’t want to impose, or make you feel like he is trying to meddle in your business.

You are a power couple not to be messed with, and if you have ambitions to keep going even after graduation, Malleus will do everything in his power to help you reach that goal.

Love the idea of accidental mafia boss Mari, it's so on point it could be Canon lol, any other interesting headcanons for this au?

i have literally so many, but my biggest one I think is this scene where Ivy and Harley become acquainted with Mari and her hoard of children and become the unintentional ‘super cool/vodka aunts and kinda-but-not-really horrible influences’ to the kids.

It basically goes like: Mari has recently acquired a lot of children.

she now needs to feed all these children. this is kind of a problem because the bakery is doing well but not that well and, of course, Mari has enough money from commissions to keep them going for a while, and Chloe is still loaded, but it’s better not to tempt fate yeah?

so they need a plan. And Mari is good at plans, right?

(Chloe begs to differ most days and calls her suicidal but they don’t really have any other options so...)

Mari (somehow) gets in contact with with two of the three sirens and she (somehow) arranges a meeting. she brings only Chloe, herself, and two flower pots: one filled with soil, and one with an endangered species of plant native to Gotham.

the flower pots catch Ivy’s interest immediately, but what makes Harley curious, is how polite and kind and courteous Mari is. She tells them how thankful she is that they came and calls them both Dr Isley and Dr Quinzel and asks after their days like she truly cares about the answer.

and Harley, because she’s half-insane and still too clever for her own good, grabs both sides of Mari’s face as squishes. ‘Oh, I like you. Red! Ain’t this one just a peach?’

Mari just smiles, Harley’s hands still on either side of her face. ‘thank you. you seem very nice as well Dr Quinzel.’

oh yeah. Harley’s keeping this one. Selina will love her too she sure. 

eventually, they get to the part about why exactly, Mari is even here and the two sirens watch as she straightens and gets a sort of determined look on her face.

Mari knows, of course, that Ivy does not like men. but she’s also been known to protect women and children. and Mari certainly has a lot of children to protect. children that, considering the magic and meta, are very much like Ivy herself.

“I’m here to ask for help. i know you are protective of plants and endangered species particularly. I’m not quite sure what you stance on edible crops are--and I’m sorry if I offend you in some way--but I need help feeding the children in my care. I want your help creating a greenhouse. I’ll make it worth your while, but if you’d rather not, I’ll drop it and never ask again.”

the ‘worth you while’ part, is were things get really interesting.

she sets the full flower pot on the table and the empty one next to it. she has Ivy check that it’s truly empty, and that there isn’t a seed or flower or anything hidden inside.

After having Ivy check she’s not tricking them, Mari focuses and soon, there’s a flower sprouting from the soil, growing growing growing until it stands as tall as the one she’d just brought.

Ivy blinks but the flower doesn’t disappears. she reaches out towards the flower, and the flower reaches back which means it’s real. Ivy can bring a plant from seedling to jungle in no time at all, but she cannot create a flower from nothing.

she stares at this girl who is perhaps half their age but still a women in her own right, and asks, “Why ask for my help at all? Surely you can replicate food just as easily for your children?”

Mari sighs, rubbing at her eyes. “Not on the scale I need. And I’ve been reliably informed that the residual magic left over from such a recent creation would have… strange effects on the children. Perhaps an emergence of mutations or magic powers that would have otherwise laid dormant. I already have plenty of Gifted children to worry about and protect, I have no need to create more. Certainly not in this city.”

Ivy stands for a long moment, thinking it over before Harley whispers something in her ear, making Ivy smile with a fond sort of disapproval. “Yes. I think this partnership will work quite well.”

Part 5 - Basic Concepts of Miraculous Ladybug: Guardians

Helloooo! Did you think I was done? No!

My PhD thesis chapters were approved last week, so have some celebratory meta. I haven't seen the latest Season 4 episodes, so do forgive me for not being up to date.

Welcome to the next part of my analysis of the basic concepts of Miraculous Ladybug. Today we are talking about Master Fu, Order of the Guardians and how little everything here makes sense. I highly recommend reading previous parts to fully understand this one, but I'll try to quote most parts of earlier posts.

Order of the Guardians

Order is an international and ancient organisation (New York Special showed us the guardian from North America and he was dressed like Su Han). Presumably, Miraculous jewels were created by these people. Guardians are responsible for the preservation of jewels and knowledge about them. They also distribute Miraculouses to worthy people around the world to combat mostly magical threats, but sometimes jewels are used against normal threats too. It's implied that Master Fu used Miraculouses during WW2 when he was in Paris. Perhaps he performed some spywork with Marianne, but the magical nature of his interferences was discovered and he was forced to flee, before returning to France many decades later.

Why does the Order need so many people to take care of a 3 Miracle Boxes? If its only purpose is to preserve knowledge, keep magical secrets and distribute Miraculous jewels then wouldn't it be more logical to have Master-Apprentice system? It's much easier to keep magic knowledge a secret and train a few people in martial arts than doing the same in the self-sufficient temple full of people, keeping in mind that a good part of them are teenagers and children, who are bad at keeping secrets. Also a single person can travel around the world much easier to give out Miraculouses. Imagine that we have a few active guardians traveling the world with Boxes. What do other people at the temple do in the meantime? They teach the next generation about the powers of each Miraculous and Mirakung Fu, but besides that?

Master-Apprentice system gives us more personal conflict between Fu and his mentor and makes his relationship with Marinette and Adrien more nuanced. In this scenario Fu accidentally caused the death of his Master at 14 because he wasn't careful. It makes sense for him to take on only 1 or 2 students if this is how things were done with Miraculous Guardians. This Wang Fu is very cautious and protective, he spent the majority of his life afraid of hurting someone else and never took an apprentice as a result. But now he is ready to try again, since he is not getting any younger and he likes these 2 kids. He wants them to succeed. Maybe Master Fu, becomes the father figure for Adrien in this situation and a guide for Marinette. Just think about it. This way writers avoid the need to develop all these extra characters (Su Han) and traditions related to the Order. All inconsistencies I mentioned before and later in this post are gone now! Hell, even memory loss and the changing of the Miracle Box shape could make more sense. We also raise the stakes post-amnesia, if it happens of course (the whole Season 3 finale didn't make sense, so stay tuned for my next meta). Marinette and Adrien are on their own now, there's no one who can give them answers. It's very fun scenario, which has potential to be brilliant. Any thoughts on that?

The existence of Order of the Guardians is not quite a secret, at least it wasn't in XIX century China. Master Fu in "Feast" says that guardianship was considered "a great honor". It implies that people who lived close to the temple of the Order knew about Miraculouses and what exactly guardians did for the greater good.

The existence of other Miracle Boxes around the world makes sense from a real-life perspective. Writers have the ability to create many stories set in the same universe and use them for merchandise and an almost unlimited amount of content. Judging by the unholy amount of specials in production, this is exactly what the creators are going to do. It probably won't go down well, but who knows?

However, it doesn't work in our main story. The main conflict is Paris-centred. Gabriel's motivations revolve around Emilie's resurrection and Season 4 gives us more reasons to suspect that Adrien's mom wasn't as wonderful as everyone says. Hawkmoth still remains the main villain of the show and most likely it's going to stay that way. There's no point in moving the main story to different places for the sake of introducing more Miracle Boxes from around the world. Ladybug and Chat Noir aren't needed to fight something halfway across the world unless Hawkmoth also changes locations.

LB and CN are centrepieces of this franchise. They brought success and money to ZAG. Creators constantly need to remind the audience that this new piece of media with new characters who will never be mentioned again is connected to Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir. Writers have to come up with reasons to include our heroic duo into the story even if makes no sense.

New York Special had to introduce American Heroes whose names rarely come up in the fandom because people stopped caring about them or their stories shortly after the release of the Special. I barely saw any content dedicated to them. In order to bring LB and CN into the story, you have to include Hawkmoth too. Gabriel suddenly needs to get his hands on the Eagle Miraculous and goes to USA. Marinette and Adrien suddenly have a class trip to New York. Unfortunately, their presence in this story is required only to expand the world of Miraculous and attract fans of the show, so that they could keep an eye on new content related to newly introduced characters.

In the end, it's not their story. Events of the special don't affect main story of the show and the development of the love square is merely an illusion, because Adrien and Marinette are no closer than before. In season 4 LB and CN are growing apart and their test of trust in NY Special doesn't matter. Perhaps, some people don't see it that way and it's their right, but I find it hard to see NYS as a valid contribution to canon. I mean, even people in large portion of the fandom state in the tags on AO3 that "specials are not canon", "specials didn't happen" or "ignores both specials". It speaks volumes about continuity and preferences of your fandom.

Shanghai Special didn't give us more information about the Order, which is located in China, history of Miraculous jewels. We still don't know much about how Gabriel and Emilie found Peacock and Butterfly. Maybe, Marinette's family had connections to Miraculous jewels. Maybe, Adrien does some snooping and discovers research his parents made while Gabriel is away. All of these are relevant to the main story. However, we got something much different in the end.

Marinette chases Adrien across the globe and they make new friends. Fey becomes Ladydragon and now has a direct contact with Marinette through her uncle. Gabriel's desire to get his hands on the Prodigious comes out of nowhere. Apparently, he had been planning this trip for years, presumably even before Adrien was born. It probably happened at the same time as Agrestes found 2 Miraculouses. He bought bracelet-key (which is also a Miraculous apparently, but its Kwami is a Guardian of the Prodigious and they existed separately for a very long time - and let us not dwell on this mess) from some shady mafia boss, who can easily find out just who Gabriel really is (fashion designer billionaire) and use this information to blackmail him. This Special didn't answer important questions, but it gave us a new superhero character.

The real question is whether Miraculous as a project will survive long enough for writers to create content for every minor character they introduced in all specials. This is only a beginning after all.

Miraculous is not a global show and it can't be globalised in a way that makes sense, at least with Ladybug and Chat Noir in the centre of action. Case closed.

Mirakung Fu

I liked the idea of Mirakung Fu introduced in "Furious Fu". It makes sense and things rarely do in this show. Miraculous grants its holder superhuman strength, stamina, endurance and ability to fight. This means that essentially transformed heroes are guided by magic in combat. There's nothing personal in the way Miraculous holders fight. You can predict their moves and learn how to fight this magic guidance, which is what Su Han does.

However, if the holder has any special training, skills or knows any martial art in their civilian life then they become more dangerous opponents during transformation because now their fighting is a mix of magical moves and their personal knowledge, tricks and style. Therefore, Adrien and Kagami as skilful fencers have more chances of winning against someone who knows Mirakung Fu than Marinette, for example.

Memory loss

At the end of season 3, we find out several things:

apparently, now Miracle Box can change appearance to suit its guardian;

when Guardian passes down the Miracle Box to someone else, they lose memories not only about everything related to Miraculous, but also about pretty much everything in their life (Fu doesn't recognise Marianne, instead he experiences the love at first sight)

Master Fu trains Marinette to be the proper holder and next Guardian off-screen. He says that her training as the holder is complete in "Feast" and wants her to become the next Guardian. Fu told her lots of things, and yet, he never mentioned the fact that he would lose his memory after relinquishing the box, nor the fact that Marinette would lose her memory afterwards. She finds out about this from Wayzz after the battle with Miracle Queen and the letter that Master Fu gave her. That's not proper training! How on Earth do you forget to mention this memory loss? How?

Master Fu's amnesia is a convenient plot device that removes him from the narrative almost completely. That's mostly all there is to it. Why? Because it doesn't make sense.

Fu was around 7 or 8 when he started his training. The disaster at the temple happened when he was 14. He stated that his training was never complete, which means that he never passed any magical ritual, never swore an oath or was bound by some kind of spell that made him subjected to the rule of memory loss.

Miracle Boxes belonged to the order, not Fu. Their design reflected their country of origin because these Miraculous were made and kept in China. They were just standing there on the shelves not magically bound to anyone in particular. When Feast attacked, monks just tossed Wang Fu the miracle box and grimoire. No one at the temple lost their memory after Fu took the box with him (Su Han is the proof). Su Han not only remembers Fu and his mistake but everything that happened that fateful day as well. In "Furious Fu" Marinette explains Su Han that Master Fu lost his memory in the very first conversation they have. However, after Ladybug and Chat Noir fight Su Han on the roof and escape with the Miracle Box, the latter searches for Fu and attempts to take his staff from him. In this scene, Su Han acts like Fu knows very well what is going on and who he is.

Su Han should be aware of the memory loss rule as the Celestial Guardian. He remarks on the different shape of the Mother Miracle Box and calls her "incorrect", which means that Su Han should have been able to easily tell that previous Guardian lost his memory and the Miracle Box is now bound to someone else. But he doesn't say anything. Moreover, since Su Han is supposed to know about amnesia, he seemed awfully chill about forcing this 14-year-old girl in front of him to give up the box and her memories. Hell, Chat Noir wasn't on board with this. But we get zero reaction from Su Han.

During the first conversation between Marinette and Su Han, he doesn't ignore what she is trying to say, instead he actively comments on every word. Even if Su Han didn't listen when Marinette told him about Fu's memory loss, than he still should be able to understand that Fu doesn't recognise him, because of common sense and the "incorrect" shape of the box. But nothing of the sort happens. Because writers apparently forgot that "memory loss" is supposed to be known to everyone in the Order. On-screen it looks like Su Han is not aware of the "amnesia rule".

"Furious Fu" makes the concept of memory loss a plothole no matter how you look at it. Just like "Timetagger" and "Chat Blanc", as well as "Kwamibuster" this episode is not consistent within itself. It does not surprise me, however.

Grimoire and Guardian Staffs

Let's talk about the Miraculous Grimoire. Good things first.

There are no illustrations of Miraculouses in camouflage. Kwami can't read its contents, only guardians can. Certain elements are written in riddles as an additional precaution. The book contains only the information people have learned so far, which means that Miraculouses have more unexplored potential ("Mr. Pigeon 72"). It describes powers of each Miraculous, provides information about weapons, has instructions for potions that don't make sense (see previous parts).

Unfortunately, everything is about to go downhill from here.

Guardians are taught how to read the writing in this book. They can read it just like people learn to read texts in a different language. This means that one can read Grimoire like any other book (you don't need to consult some guide to decode each letter or word). Master Fu proclaimed Marinette an almost fully trained Guardian. He should have taught her how to read the Grimoire then (he doesn't know the code very well, but he knew enough to understand the general meaning and content of the book according to "Collector"). He didn't. We don't know why. He shows her powers of every Miraculous but doesn't teach her the code.

Master Fu knows that Grimoire now belongs to Gabriel Agreste. He knows that it's dangerous for someone else to have it. If they knew how to read the Grimoire, they could discover all secrets of Miraculouses and harm Ladybug, Chat Noir and other heroes. It's very important to keep the information about the code top secret because Fu is not the only one with the source material.

What does he do then? Master Fu proceeds to write a French translation of Grimoire for Marinette, a translation that he doesn't even need. He carries it with him at all times on a tablet (without any precautions) just like the Miracle box after "Feast". Naturally, it means that in "Miracle Queen", Gabriel and Nathalie easily managed to get their hands on the tablet and Miracle Box. It allows the plot to happen, sure. But it doesn't make any sense.

"Furious Fu" created another curious plot hole. It will probably be ignored, of course. Su Han has a staff with a magical compass that allows him to find any Miracle box, but not the Miraculous jewels for some reason. How does the staff work? Can it locate the box without the Miraculous? If yes, then it seems useless. What's the point in the ability to locate an empty box? If it can locate the box only with the Miraculous jewels inside, it implies that the staff can track the location of every Miraculous too. So, Su Han could just locate the Butterfly and Peacock without any problem. But he talks about reassigning Ladybug and Black Cat to adults and defeating Hawkmoth like locating the Butterfly is not possible. This situation makes the Guardian Staff a simple plot device that creates plot holes and its only purpose is to explain how Su Han found Marinette.

Also, I have a few more words to say about this. Master Fu had a Guardian Staff that was never mentioned before. I wonder why? That's because the staff didn't exist before "Furious Fu" was written. Writers just went: "Do you know what would be cool? If Fu's cane was really a secret Guardian Staff with a compass all along that he decided to keep even after he lost his memory? It would make people wonder whether Master Fu is faking amnesia, and everyone will definitely call him an awful mentor after this even though we kind of tried to make him a good and responsible person."

Fu didn't give it to Marinette and didn't mention it to her. Why? When he gave up his memory, he should have written about this in his letter at least. Why did he decide to keep it? He can't use it anyway now.

Please note how in the flashbacks Fu didn't take any staff with him when he escaped the temple. Su Han seemed to know how Fu's staff looked like. It means that Master Fu didn't make this staff himself, because it belonged to the Order.

Su Han wasn't even surprised that Marinette didn't have the staff as the current Guardian. Was she not supposed to have it? He never questioned the fact that the former Guardian without memories has the staff. Su Han actually returns this staff to Fu after he is deakumatized and Fu acts like they have never met before. Why did Su Han gave the staff back when he knows what it is and to whom it should belong (to him or to Marinette as the current Guardian)? The staff is useless in the hands of the civilian. Does Marianne know about its secret? We'll probably never find out, unfortunately.

Guardian Staff of Master Fu has a compass too and therefore this also makes it a plot device, just like Su Han's staff.

TTF is hard to summarize because it has 10 story arcs and they all lead into the other, but the plot begins with ‘A wizard terrorist attacks the king of Hou’lu sending two girls on a quest to stop him’ which sounds so simple doesn’t it -sobs-

 Very adventure, political intrigue, slice of life elements

They basically travel all over the world, and I’ll quickly summarize what that’s like by listing each countries major influences

Hou’lu: Italian Renaissance, China

Sunobor: Medieval Germany, Japan, Inuit

Haldon: Folk Mexican, Folk Italian

Lavynna; Byzantine, some inspo from India to structure of things?

TTF of them all gets the most complicated but very incrementally, so it’s the hardest to express much on. But they get a cool hard magic system based on 10 elements so

The plot here is a bit simpler

What happens when the one who pulls the blade only those Chosen by God can touch is among the race of people thought to be destined to serve?

This focuses largely on the Sha’li of East Hou’lu. As a race they have very distinct white hair, pale skin, and red eyes. At this time in history, monster taming was very common as well, so most the characters have a family or personal monster. Sha’li also have an ability to become “invisible” but in actuality they are lowering their ‘presence’ or ‘noticibility’ to all non-Sha’li

This story draws largely from Tibet for its aesthetics

I have uprooted a lot about this story and not yet relayed it, but so far

A girl who wanted to become a soldier but was refused strikes out on adventure to do what she can for her country on her own- but to her chagrin gets a tag along

This story likely will have a soft magic system, and is definitely still based on Victorian and Japanese aesthetics. It’s actually a specific era of Japanese history but I can’t remember which. Possibly 16th c?

Despite this, it’s a low tech world.

Most fantasy type creatures/races do show up in Kingdoms, unlike my other stories

Dragons exist in Kingdoms but are universally evil and nobody has ever killed one

Magic and Cannons (MnC)

A wip name still

Cusick, Agathe, Romana, Kordell, Levi, Maureen, Ames, Sung-jin

I’m still figuring put the plot to this honestly, but the first bit is definitely

‘A narcissistic man is captured as a PoW and must find a way to escape’

There’s just three countries of any importance to this world, and it’s much less whimsical in nature than the others, being closer to reality in some ways, and having a lot more tech. Though it vibes as subtly cartoony in how characters have slightly exaggerated aspects to their personalities and behaviors.

Delemar is the country Cusick is from and is based on Wild West in many ways, they’re a very independent people which can be good and bad, they also give no hecks about safety and are pretty wild in general

Choson is where Romana is from and they are much more interested in normalcy and order, which can be both good and bad. They prefer reptiles and fish as pets to mammals actually, which feels important to mention. If you know much about history, I suppose it’s clear they draw a lot from Korea for aesthetics.

Choson is also a very mixed population in terms of race, which Delemar is very much not.

Kievan is where Agathe hails from and is based on Russia. In each case I tried sticking to 1850s-1900s ish for my influences of these countries, though socially they are very diff.

Kievan has an affinity for wine and is the only country that appreciates using electricity for power. They have harsh winters, especially compared to the other two countries which tend to be more tropical in climates. Kievan is less developed so far, but they tend towards legalism there, and while that can be bad, they are also the one not involved in a pointless war, so

MnC is what I call glasspunk, Delemar and Choson rely on ‘reactions’ for their energy sources, which I can only explain as ‘you know how if you mix two volatile liquids, they could explode? They harness the energy from such things’

This is possible because their magic system is a type of alchemy which has allowed them a lot of reactions not available to us, and with this they’ve been able to get treated glass which is nearly indestructible, great for containing anything they need.

Magic is still something within the individual, but in MnC the extent of what it does is change the properties of whatever you’re touching with your hands. If you specialize in using this and inventing things based off of things with changed properties, you’re called a mage.

MnC has a lot of strange tech this way, including trains, vehicles, customizeable guns, staves that through weird tech stuff can have sort of elemental effects, etc.

Electricity is not compatible with reactions btw, because it can cause them to explode outside of when they’re meant to, kinda like smoking by a bunch of canisters of gasoline, it might be a lil risky. So societies that use reactions do not use electricity and have things in place to get rid of it, and societies that use electricity don’t use reactions. Combining them can get cool tech, but is inherently risky.

oh whoops I went off there, huh. Oh well it’s not seen as often as the other types of societies/magics I listed so

Dragons in MnC are animals (technically wyverns?) and have been domesticated to be work animals. No fire breath but they do have a strong venom, I think a neurotoxin type?? And the insides of their mouths are orange 👀 oh and the domesticated ones are reflective like mirrors ish

Children of the Little Mine (CotLM)

This is the only one I plan to make a novel, because it’s set in 1950′s-1960′s New York City and I don’t care about those aesthetics at all

I don’t have it planned out very far for plot, but basically a gremlin thief boy of 17 has a strange ability to manipulate how gravity effects him, and seemingly nobody else in the world has this. But one day during a break and entering situation, Geno finds another boy with an ability, and from there they decide to try sticking together a bit to figure out why, and maybe put together a heist against a mafia boss in the mean time (two stealy boys)

This is very close to being historical fiction aside from abilities, which are /extremely/ rare in this world. I’m very inspired by Artemis Fowl and A Separate Peace for tone, and plan to have middleschool boys as my target audience. Though I love fantasy and such, this one’s still a bit close to my heart anyways

Anyways literally nobody asked for this I just do this to myself. I seriously wanna start practicing comic making skills, but I can’t do that too much for a daily thing when I can usually put in an hour at best. I’m trying to find a sweet spot for it all, but it may yet be awhile before I can post literally anything that sheds light on who the heck any of the chars I post are.

I want to though, and I’ve been running this blog for years now, so best to assume it’ll get there someday. I have still written a lot and planned out things, so progress still happens behind the scenes. Aside from the last few months but that’s not uncommon for this time of year. If you actually read this, thanks euchjsd I don’t think many will, but having it here makes me feel a bit better

Top 5 Anime

1. Black Clover (Episode count 157 - ongoing)

Okay if you want something action packed + fighting the system made up by asshole royals this is for you. 

Basically to give you a summary in this world magic is everything, everyone can use it except for Asta. Asta and his brother Yuno want to become magic knights and travel to the capital and participate in the magick knight exame, Asta gets picked for the worst squad and Yuno the best one, their adventure starts from there. 

Animation very good, story, in my humble opinion, good. So yeah go watch it before this too gets to like a 900 episodes xD   

2. Toilet Bound Hanako-kun! (Episode Count 12 one season but there probably will be more) 

I just watched this and fell in love with it enough to start the manga because I can’t wait for season 2 to come out :’D The animation is very pretty and you just want to learn more about the characters, highly recommend! so here’s what 9anime’s summary about it: 

“The famous "Seven Wonders" that every school seems to have are a staple of Japanese urban legends. One of the most well-known of these tales is that of Hanako-san: the ghost of a young girl who haunts the school's bathrooms. Kamome Academy has its own version of Hanako-san's legend. 3. Haikyuu! (There’s four seasons but I don’t know how many episodes and I’m too lazy to count sorry :’D) 

I’m sure you’ve heard of Haikyuu, basically it’s a sports anime about volleyball. I was one of those skeptics saying that I wouldn’t enjoy sports anime but here we are. 

The animation and learning about each individual characters story really gets you hooked so if you haven’t check this out yet you totally should! 

4. Jujutsu Kaisen (Episode Count 12 - Ongoing)

Ah yes the ever famous Jujutsu Kaisen, there’s a reason why everyone’s talking about it, it’s because it’s very very good. If you like your hero stuff with angst and interesting worldview philosophies I highly recommend! Here’s what 9anime says: 

“Idly indulging in baseless paranormal activities with the Occult Club, high schooler Yuuji Itadori spends his days at either the clubroom or the hospital, where he visits his bedridden grandfather. However, this leisurely lifestyle soon takes a turn for the strange when he unknowingly encounters a cursed item. 5. Banana Fish (Episode count 24 - Complete) 

I’m not gonna say much about this other then I still think about it, also this has mature themes and again I won’t say much but it’s angst but it also has its cute moments! highly recommend! Also if you do start watching do not look up ANYTHING about it!

Now on to my Selfship! 

Okay I won’t keep this super long (I do want to post some selfship stuff but honestly I’m not sure anyone would want to read those xD) I ship myself in a poly relationship with both Dazai and Chuuya.

 In canon world I also joined the port mafia pretty much at the same time as Dazai, we already had somewhat of a relationship but Dazai, as we all know, was a bit too intense back then but when Chuuya joined I realized that I like them both and slowly out relationship starts to bloom. Chuuya is quicky to realize he might have a bit of feelings for Dazai too and even if he never told him, in order to understand himself better he rolls with it. 

But when Dazai decides he’s going to leave I try to stop him but then end up going with him, leaving Chuuya a letter before we go. 

So that’s pretty much the gist of it xD I didn’t write much of the relationship dynamics because I just thought it would be too long of a post buuuuut if anyone is interested feel free to ask!

I'm definitely not new, but I'm newish.

My name is Shyann, but I go by Shy or Lexie. I've been into whump for a while now, but just recently gotten into the community. I'm 21 years old and I love cats. I also love gaming and anime!

Let's see my favorite whump dynamics are: injuries, pet whump, hidden injuries, sick whumpees having to be taken care of, intimate whumpers, drugged whumpees, sensory deprivation, isolation, I could probably go on for a while.

I do tend to write some and i have tons of OCs! I saw someone else post their OC's so I'm going to do mine. Most of my OCs are fantasy medieval but can be placed in any time.

• Zoe is a half elf/half demon. She is an assassin with darkness manipulation who lost her whole family do to a deal gone by between her home kingdom Zariya and another kingdom. Sweet personality that's changes in an instant once she gets the trust of her enemies before she kills them. She can be happy, bubbly, will kill for anyone that hurts her friend once she let's people see the real her. Mostly puts off a serious persona. She has a partner named Deatrick and they have a daughter named Elyssa.

• Evie is a high elf. She is princess to the fallen Zariya. She lost her family in the same bad deal. She is typically soft and sweet, but can sometimes snobby. She traveled a lot growing up and spent most of her time in bars beating men at any card game she could. She has the powers to read minds and take the potential energy stored in an object and convert it to kinetic energy thus “charging” that item with explosive results. (basically like Gambit). She finally found a lone wonderer named Shiroku and reclaimed her kingdom. Her partner is Shiroku and their son is Shinji.

• Elyssa is a half elf/half demon like her mother. She takes after her mother and uses darkness manipulation. She is happy go lucky girl, tho she is definitely a thief (so she can definitely be sneaky) and HUGE flirt like her father. She was born and raised in Zariya after it was reclaimed. Secretly loves Shinji.

• Kai is a full demon and Zoe's biological father. Summoned to protect Zariya by the Evie's past relatives, Kai was ordered to always been locked away to keep him contained and keep the kingdom "powered". Kai almost always has the best intentions while protecting the kingdom, but he comes off the wrong way most of the time. He has a deep compassion for what he considers "his children", despite his compassion to his children, he is very ruthless when he needs to be. Kai for the most part resents Evie and Zoe's parents for locking him away, but he doesn't blame the girls. He will do anything to protect them. Was locked away due to Zoe's stepfather finding out that Kai got Zoe's mother pregnant, which resulted in Zoe.

• Hapi is a human. She is very soft and super compassionate. She loves taking care of others, she has always put others before herself. Hapi comes from a very unloving family. Her mother and father would constantly argue no matter what the topic was, they just weren't truly meant to be, but stayed together for her sake. She would constantly hide in herself from the world to avoid the conflict, until she met her best friend who was going through a much tougher life then herself. She decided from there on that she would dedicate her life to helping others then focus on her home life.

• Remi is a human. From a young age, she was raised by just her father (her mother left when she was young.) who was the mafia boss. She used to be very friendly, but when she got into her teen years, her father passed down the role of being the mafia boss to her. She soon let the power she had go to her head and turned into completely different person. She is super sadistic and very possessive of what belongs to her. She is very controlling as well. She doesn't deal well with people trying to take or succeeding and taking her pet. She very rarely shows her softer side, but when she does people tend to worry about what comes next.

• Zori is a human. She has learned to be a very polite and very patient person when dealing with royalty or people of any sort. She was born to an artist for a royal family. She was born and raised around art. Art is her passion. She travels between kingdoms and paints portraits for the families. She gets paid decently well for what she does, but when the customer acts rudely to her she leaves them a nice note and exits the kindgom before it could be traced back to her. When she was dealing with one of her ruder customers, she lost an eye due to an incident that was out of their control. What she draws can come to life if she allows it, but she normally doesn't.

• Addison/Adi is a human. She doesn't have a voice, she lost it due to dealing heavily in the wrong type of magic. She will occasionally hum when she feels the need to talk, get someone's attention, or is just super happy. She likes to pull pranks on others and loves writing. She can see to a certain point in the future.

• Lia is a human. She has a twin sister named Katherine that she has never met due to issues between her mother and father. Head up in the clouds. Soft and pure bean. Lived with just her mother traveling from place to place learning how to be a perfect healer just like her mother was. Loves with her whole heart. She tries her best to make everyone happy. When she heals she can also see into some recent memories.

• Katherine is a human. She is the exact opposite of her twin sister. She is cold and selfish. She doesn't deal well with others due to trust issues. She never knew her mother or sister, but wants revenge on them for giving her up due to her taking after her father.

• Rosie is a human. She is very timid around men. She was kidnapped and tested on by a group of men which lead her to getting her powers, but at some point the testing went wrong and lead to a large lab fire. They were in the middle of testing on her when the fire broke out and they left her to die. She barely escaped death when she managed to get out of the test tube.

• Eira is a half elf. She is Zoe's half sister. She is super spunky and can be very sneaky when she wants to be, she is very well disciplined and loyal to her cause. She has no true memory of her past or family, but she has pieces of it based on the information she's found out from someone in the underground. She is also married to Faye and has an adopted daughter with her named Hana.

• Faye is a high elf. She is Evie's younger sister. She was locked away in a cell since she was young. She is super skittish at first and not very approachable, but when she finally is able to know and trust everyone she is super soft spoken and can be very spunky at times. She often flinches at the slightest movement or raised voice. She never lets anyone know how she is truly feeling, due to past trauma. She is married to Eira and has an adopted daughter with her named Hana.

• Shinji is half elf/half human. He is very calm and reserved like his father, Shiroku. He is also very sweet and loves helping people like is mother, Evie. He is only three months younger than Elyssa. Elyssa and him are the best of friends and always cause some sort of mischievous together. He is never the instigator, always Elyssa. Secretly loves Elyssa.

• Hana is a human. She was four years old when she was adopted by Faye and Eira. She loves her mother's very much and loves being around Elyssa, Shinji, Rowan, and Kiara. She is most definitely the leader of the pack.

• Rowan and Kiara are half human/half demon. They are the twins of Remi and Kai. They are a true mixture of both of their parents personalities and cause so much chaos for the other children.

• Haru/Miki is human. She started out as a famous singer and loved her fans. They treated her better than her own friends and family. She did everything for her fans from helping them out during hard times to just hanging out with them. Until a time when she came across the wrong type of fan, Remi, who captured her and did things to her that broke her out of her bubbly caring self. The world missed her, but she was no longer, she was now known as Miki.

Iron Fist Rewatch: 1x03: Rolling Thunder Cannon Punch

That's so terrifying. You look an entitled asshole in the eyes and say "no" when he tries to pressure you into doing something morally corrupt that would actively hurt another person - one who has specifically asked you for help - and then armed home invaders break in in the middle of the night. Ward is basically the mafia boss that Colleen has just pissed off, from her POV. No wonder she hates him.

Wow, now I want the fanfic where Colleen keeps calling Ward a mafia boss to his face. "Just because I'm under your mafia family's protection NOW doesn't make that time you put out a hit on me any better, mobster." "'Mob-' I never put out any 'hit'. I'm not the mafia." "You don't need to bother with pretence here, mob guy." (Danny helpfully does not point out that Ward definitely put out a hit on him, but the entire room is still painfully aware.)

Danny: Sorry the people trying to kill me broke your lock.

Colleen doesn't for one second find it out of the question that the cops might be in on the whole "corrupt rich white man is doing shady illegal things and trying to have a 'problem' 'fixed'" thing. Danny does, ("I haven't broken any law?") because Danny spent ten years as a rich white boy and then the next 15 in a culture completely separated from the rest of the world's reality. Or: Danny, a rich white boy, trusts the police. Colleen, who tries to make her dojo a safe space for a bunch of underprivileged majority bipoc kids living in the "bad part of town", does not.

Possibly the reason they speedrun us through Ward going up to the penthouse again is to remind the viewers how obnoxious it is to get up there before we see Danny climb the building later?

I forgot about this freaky tube thing. What is that? High tech coffin? lol. There's an implied "you should be unsettled by this" vibe to Harold's whole "it's so peaceful in here, I can't help but doze off" but when I don't know what the tube is the context is kind of lost on me.

Again with Ward calmly asking for an explanation about such a seemingly insane business choice, especially one that he's going to have to explain to people, and Harold brushing him off. Infuriating. And let's just toss in a sprinkling of "Joy has always been and always will be better than you, who can't do anything."

Harold: "Doesn't it occur to you that I'm doing this all for you?" Me: "SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP I HATE YOU." He doesn't even just say "I'm doing this for you." No, he has to say "Doesn't it occur to you that I'm doing this for you?" Rather than simply lying, he just has to back Ward into that corner. Ugh. UGH.

Ward: closes his eyes, long huff of breath. I should start a count of how many times he does this.

MY SKIN IS CRAWLING. Freaking Harold. Ugh ugh ugh he's the worst.

Danny you realize you're both disrespecting Colleen AND talking about pretty sensitive subject matter right in front of her student?

Joy: "We need to do the right thing." Me: "You keep telling yourself you're a person who cares about that, Joy."

Joy talking about clinging to her dreams of Harold meeting her after school and holding her hand and smiling at her in her grief after he died is making me so miserable. To Joy, Harold means comfort.

Danny: *Starts talking about ghosts* Joy: Oh right, he's crazy.

Colleen: "You dishonor yourself when you fight for money."

Jeri, who has literally been mind-controlled, almost got murdered slowly and painfully, and brought a killer to her wife,

Young intern Jeri Hogarth calling the boss's secretary a "hatchet faced bitch" and then bribing said boss's 10yrs or younger kid not to tell is. Well. It sure is a thing.

I still want Danny inviting Jeri to Defenders friend group hangouts and Foggy and Marci both blanching. Jessica and Jeri can snark at each other and Danny can be like "You're friends too! I didn't know!! :D"

Honestly, I would have watched a whole show on the intricacies of classism issues, with the Elite like Jeri and the Meachums teaching Danny how to live and maneuver in that world and Colleen and the dojo and Big Al teaching Danny about the reality of life for the lower class, and our golden-hearted Danny in the center of it, consistently determined to do what's Right,

Joy: lol, isn't this such a fun, teasing, sibling-banter thing we do, me joking about how I'm going to close this deal and you would only endanger it?

Harold: punches trainer full in the face, then casually suggests weapons next time while the guy is still groaning on the ground

Is Gao terrorizing Harold and making him kneel on glass supposed to make me feel for Harold? No one deserves this but that doesn't make Harold magically not a monster.

Danny.... just taking over lecturing the class is not respectful to Darryl or Colleen either.

Danny: "What kind of soldier training is this? They're acting like kids!" Colleen: "That's the POINT! I am not training them to be soldiers, I am creating a safe space for them to be kids when they usually can't be in the rest of their lives." Danny's warped K'un Lun upbringing really shows here. It's heartbreaking to remember that Colleen isn't just some good samaritan either - that she was raised in a cult too and has her own warped upbringing viewpoints.

A line I need to appear in a Ward/Misty/Claire pov fic: "Colleen tends to seem normal because most of the time she's next to Danny. It's easy to forget that actually, she's completely batshit."

Colleen keeps throwing Danny out for bringing trouble to her doorstep and then not really fighting it when he sticks around anyway (Which: Danny. Danny, this is problematic behavior, Danny.) - it's when he becomes a danger to her students that she gets serious about it. Even if Danny wouldn't physically harm them again, he is now a drain on their mental health: he represents a potential danger, a reason to be constantly on guard, and a removal of their safe space.

Ward clearly has no idea what the heck Joy is doing. It's all very troubling and this family is so messed up.

The way Ward ever so slightly shakes his head at Joy as she bribes Patel with his nephew's actual life.

Joy feels like Ward refuses to tell her things the same way Harold refuses to tell Ward things! But Ward doesn't actually have the ability to tell Joy anything because he doesn't know anything! Ugh!!

On Joy's desk: a photo of her and Ward toasting at some party. She also has a copy on her shelf at home.

Joy poured her blood sweat and tears into Rand. She's proud of it. To Ward, it's a prison.

Wait so their plan is that there's no record that Danny Rand ever existed? Like, besides. The city's collective memory? People know about Danny Rand, guys. You need to delete the ability to connect this adult man to Danny Rand, not young Danny's entire paper trail. I mean, anything linking them would be included in literally everything about Danny but still. Seems unnecessary and suspicious?? I know nothing about crime.

Jeri casually constantly reminding Danny that the Meachums are the corrupt villains of this story must be really messing with Danny's head. Not that she's wrong. Poor boy.

I am very curious about Jeri and the Meachums' history. Jeri and Ward snark at each other so much in this meeting. And they definitely seem amused while doing so. Also Joy was like "Hogarth" at Ward earlier, and Jeri described their relationship as "complicated" to Danny.

Ward slumps down in his seat so he's lower than anyone else in the room, despite probably being the tallest. This is probably meant as a show of dismissiveness: Danny's case is so insignificant that he doesn't need to respect them by sitting up straight - but it IS interesting, from a power dynamics in staging perspective.

Ward, who has a constant escape plan of stealing from his employees and running away with Joy, plus was literally talking about leaving and starting over with nothing earlier in this same episode: "It could have been easy. You could have taken the money and had a great life."

So, a hat in time, I recently started playing again and immediately made lots of aus, I'm only talking about one today because I made art for it and I wanna show it off! Big thanks to @bigbrainboyest for listening to me ramble about this au and the others I have made!

Anyway this one is about hat kid! Kind of, it's basically what of hat kid really was a goop monster like that one mafia thought she was? I also added the transcendent paint dye thingy because space! In the lore though she looks spacey because it's an evolved defense mechanism her alien blob species made to hide better from predators in space! Anyway she accidentally gets knocked down to earth and the first thing she sees(?)/senses is mustache girl! Hat kid, still being a young alien, imprints onto mustache kid and shapeshifts to look like a goopy version of hat kid because the young aliens she is usually copy what their parents/guardians turn into, though it's not perfect with hat kid because she's still young so she looks very goopy. Mustache girl is confused mostly because who is this melty space child and why are they weirdly hugging her? After mustache girl trying to run away and failing because hat kid keeps catching up to her she gives up and tries to find out where hat kids home is not knowing she's an alien, they need a boat though so after mischief with the Mafia mustache girl begrudgingly asks the leader for a boat, this goes horribly wrong as said mafia boss immediately tries to start killing hat kid because a much older member of hat kids species kind of destroyed their old home and they were pretty big. Hat kid doesn't fight back until mustache girl gets hurt from trying to protect her and then it's revealed she's also got magic powers to boot! These powers are the hat abilities, commonly used to protect themselves with incase a threat shows up. So they get the boat but when hat kid touches it they get sucked into a purple time rift, turns out when she touches things that have lots of memories/history attached to it she can enter the purple time rifts and see those events. This is a surprise to both of them because normally her species isn't near old objects so it's a mystery to both

The art I've made is of hat kid halfway melted because when she's tired she kinda melts because it's hard to keep up her kid form when tired, speaking of that art here it is!

I'm very proud of myself for making this, I found this new line tool on ibis paint X that I didn't know was there and it helped greatly! Anyway sorry for the long post, I'm doing this on mobile so I can't add a read more bit. Sorry about that!

im sleeby and i cant write my essay and have 0 brain cells i wanna ramble on abt Untitled Villains Project and i fuckign will i dont care if it makes 0 sense !!!

aall of it is a Big Fucken ... Morality Play i guess asdfghj ive never poasted about it before so the run-down is it’s a comedy cartoon-show im workin on thatll prolly be for teens/young aduts/etc basically it’s not really a kids show cause it has some dark themes but by god id rather die than fall into the trap of Ugly Adult Show so young adults it is! the plot centers around two teams of villains who just happen to be vying for the same goal (in a sense). the comedy comes from them butting heads and the general banter shenanigans 

there are like three and a half main characters asdfghj the fourth main character is more of a nebulous figure not involved i nthe action. closest analogy is hordak in that new she-ra ? that character is named Boss and she’s a feral scientist because i dont like the connotations of “mad” scientist and since she’s a maned wolf .. puns! shes also the oldest main character, clockin in at 30-soemthing by her words. she refuses to be specific but she is Adult For Sure 

her assistant, Toxic Porcupine, the gremlin in my icon atm, is also her guinea pig. they can teleport! due to some sorta horrifying shit Boss tried on them! they were of course a willing participant. theyre extremely reckless, the youngest member of the show (19), so theyre like “im young! im invincible! yahoo!” theyre an absolute thorn i nthe side of the other two main characters who both think Toxic is like. 10 at the oldest. theyre small and have a very Young Lad sort of voice and they SCREAM so very much 

the other two are Vex and Unknown ! theyre genetic experiments who are tyring to hide that fact, with Unknown passing themself off as a weirdly pointy raccoon and Vex just pretending to be a normal cat. Vex is a lot less weird-looking and can pass for a tabby cat despite being part fox. Unknown is an amnesiac who lost their memories at 24 under mysterious circumstances that Toxic, somehow, knows something about but refuses to say much of anything on. now at 26 they’re still re-learning a Lot about life and the world and they still have little lapses of memory sometimes that can be kinda scary. but overall theyre coping well! they have some mysterious powers they can’t identify or access, only remember in dreams. Vex is unaware they remember at all.

Vex (27) is the leader of the duo. she’s a sociopath (not hyperbolic; i’m researching sociopathy as best i can and aim for her to be a positive portrayal). she has the ability to sort of temporarily mind-control people verbally, as in, she can say “hey, go do this” and the person will do it with no recollection of doing so. it works best on one person at a time (no, it doesnt stack, she can’t address multiple people one-by-one it diminishes the more people she Manipulates) and can work minimally on up to four. by the time it’s four she can only compel them to like, turn around, or take a step or two, or drop something, etc. small stuff. she does this mostly to keep her and Unknown’s missions nonviolent, as a body count would be Pretty Not Good to deal with. she has no qualms abt killing people but logically understands it’s frowned-upon and would likely cause problems. 

so anyhow the main conflict rises from the fact that Boss wants to study ancient magical artifacts to figure out what the Fuck magic really is, believing there to be a tie between magic and technology. Unknown and Vex work for a mafia-type organization that often wants the same artifacts purely for money-laundering purposes. shenanigans ensue when Toxic and Unknown&Vex are sent after the same thing ! this also is entirely because im a huge art history nerd asdfghjkl

After the fight with the Hollow, Renji and myself went back to where those other guys were, we went back into our Gigai bodies, I walked out of my room same with Renji, we were in the sight of Kai and Xiumin, we are starting to get concerned on if they found out about on what we do. Xiumin asked, "What would you guys do if we gave you jobs?" "Jobs? What kind of jobs?" asked Renji. I did a side glance at Renji, then looked at them while saying, "Just as long as Renji and myself stick together no matter what." "That's a problem, we know on how strong your friendship is with each other, but we thought it would be best if we separated you both," said Kai. Renji shouted, "Are you guys insane? I made a promise to her brother that I will always be by her side no matter what you do, we will always find a way to stick together!" Xiumin looked at him with a certain look, I elbowed Renji lightly letting him know that these guys are no pushover, we are so use to Soul Society's squad captain and everything else. It's gonna be hard to adjust for the both of us, I said, "Sorry, he did not mean that though it is true, we always stick together no matter what." "What we meant was, we have a situation and we need all the help that we can get," said Kai, "We are not recruiting you guys just yet." "Don't recruit us, allow us to be back up," said Renji, "Because we are a part of something that we are not telling you unless it is needed." I grabbed Shadow Phoenix again, Kai said, "You won't need that with you." "I only bring her when needed," I said, "Besides this sword is my good luck charm." "Alright," said Kai. Why do I get the feeling that he is starting to wonder that Renji and myself are not from this world? I thought, I went to Renji, he looked at me, "Looks like they weren't going to split us apart only during their missions." "Hey, what do you guys call yourselves anyways?" I asked Kai. He answered, "We are the EXO Mafia." That triggered both me and Renji, we looked at each other, Kris, Luhan, and Tao always mention people that they called EXO, these were the guys those 3 were talking about and I took their lives away from this life. Then again, they did thank me for doing that, Renji and myself sat right next to each other. Renji quietly asked me, "Do you think they know on what happened to those 3?" "I hope not, that would put them on the alert thinking that we are the bad guys but we are not," I whispered to him, "Until further notice, we are not saying a word about where we came from." "Just know that it's only a matter of time before they suspect that we have been only going to our rooms for not only napping but also fight Hollows to protect the innocent lives," said Renji. I looked at one of them, Chen, he was directly looking at us, oh no, does he know? I hope not. I looked behind me, there was Ichigo, just smiling like a creep, I punched him in the face for that. Renji asked, "Where did you come from, Ichigo?" "I thought it was only the 2 of us," I said. Ichigo said, "I thought I might help these guys as well, might thought they need some extra hands." "Oh, good, the more the merrier," I said. When we got to our destination, I felt vibes of Hollow activity all around, the 3 of us looked at each other, I asked, "What should we do?" "I know, there's no room to go Soul Reaper to find those Hollows," said Ichigo. I somehow ended up teamed up with Ichigo and Kai along with Xiumin, Renji went with Baekhyun, Chen, and Chanyeol, we followed Kai and Xiumin, us 3 can only see on where the Hollows are. We are on the alert, I'm hoping help is on the way, then a Hollow came and pinned me down. "Akari!!" Ichigo shouted, "Renji! Akari has been attacked!" This was when we lost sight of Kai and Xiumin, then we heard, "Roar! Zabimaru!!" Renji came to my rescue, Ichigo helped me up, I asked, "How did you manage to get out of your Gigai?" "I lost sight of those 3," said Renji, "So, you 2 come on, I called for back up, Hitsugaya and some others are coming their way." So, well Ichigo did, I almost did when Kai and Xiumin came to me, Kai asked, "Where is your friend?" "He told me to meet up with you guys while he made sure Renji was alright after I was attacked by small pebble," I said, "You see, I have a sensitive head." "Oh," said Xiumin. I can't transform now, Kai and Xiumin made sure that I was in their sight, I sighed, Xiumin and Kai suddenly stopped, something was blocking our path, I know what's blocking our path, it's a Hollow, I took out Shadow Phoenix and pointed her towards the Hollow, Kai and Xiumin looked at me like I was crazy, then I shouted, "Burst! Shadow Phoenix!" Then the sword magically turned into my Scythe, now they were looking at me like a mad woman, I told them, "I'll explain later but right now you need to trust me on this, I need to kill this creature before it kills you, you can't see it, but it can see you and only I and some of my friends can see these creatures." They nodded, then out I came. I took out that sucker with no problem whatsoever, I went back to my body, I woke up noticing that Xiumin was holding me, I told him, "You can let go now, I'm back in this body." "Oh alright," he said, "So, wait you can actually go in and out of this body?" "That's right but like I said I'll explain later for right now you 2 need to wear these," I said, giving them invisible glasses, "They are called invisible glasses, they were made by me, and they allow you to see things you can't actually see." "Alright," said Kai. They took them and they saw Renji, Ichigo, Toshiro, and Rukia, I asked Toshiro, "Where's Rangiku?" "She's on her way," said Toshiro. Kai said, "Whoa, this is very trippy." "We can actually see on who you are looking at," said Xiumin, "This is amazing." "Yeah but sadly they are just a prototype," I said, "I only made them because I want people on who I can trust to see on the people I'm around and not to mention a certain job I have." "Job?" Kai asked. I said, "My life job is a Soul Reaper that's basically everyone you can see and where I am from and that's all I'm going to tell for now." Since we took care of all the Hollows in the area, we went back to headquarters, I know that I'm going to be explaining a lot to Kai and Xiumin about the Soul Society, Renji said, "You told them didn't you?" "Like I had any choice," I said, pouting, "Neither you or Ichigo were near by so I thought what was the best thing." "She has a point, Renji," said Ichigo. Though I looked at Xiumin and Kai again, it looked like their memories were erased because they told each other that I had collapsed, I looked at Rukia and gave her a thumbs up because I thought I had to tell them on what we, Soul Reapers, do in order to protect the world of the living it is way too soon to explain on who we are and what we do, so Kai asked me, "So, what were you going to say?" "What do you mean?" I asked back. Xiumin said, "You said that you were going to explain something and you have us curious." "Now is not the time, I need to know that I can trust you guys with my life," I said, "I need to know that you guys won't turn your backs on me and Renji." "Just as long as you continue to doing on what you do then it won't matter," said Kai. "She's not yet ready," said Renji, "She'll tell when she's ready to." "We understand," said Xiumin, "Though our boss, Suho, might pressure her." "Not just him, also Chanyeol, Sehun, and Jongdae," said Kai. I have a feeling that I was never meant to be here in the first place, I never chosen this place, I've been wanting to stay with Ichigo so he can make me understand the world of the living more than what these guys are doing. Renji sees the look on my face, this was when Kai and Xiumin had left us alone, he kneels down and asks, "Are you feeling like you want to leave this place?" "I keep on feeling that we are not welcomed   here, Ichigo will welcome me with open arms without a problem," I said to him, "It's just these guys only sees us as nothing but toys to play in their eyes." "Which is why you wanted Rukia to erase on what those 2 saw," said Renji, "That was very clever." "Yeah, I think I want to stay with Ichigo for the time being," I said, "But I'll think about it." "Yeah, you should let that body rest and head over to the Soul Society so you can vent to someone that you always turn to," said Renji. I made my way to my barracks when I bumped into Shuhei, I freaked, "Oh, Shuhei, I didn't see you there I was kind of lost in my thoughts." "It's alright, I was told on what you are going through and my advice is to never show that you are afraid, that's how Zaraki always gets you to do everything he needs to do," said Shuhei, "Thankfully those guys have no idea on who you are." Lia is an incredibly strong ghoul, since she’s a one eyed ghoul, but no one would be able to tell. She lives her life as a human like Eto does, hiding her ghoulish nature. She’s also a member of the CGG, and an excellent one at that.

Judy Mental: I had to look her up, as I’ve never played the Serious Sam games but i do love using the weapons from that series in GMOD. Since neither her or her father are apparently seen (? its unclear from the wiki), I’d have to use some liberties to figure out what she looks like but I’d probably go with a super stacked energy lady. Possibly giant, too? She may be a fit for either her own group doing thier own thing and posing as antagonists (destroying all life because she figures its on the agenda) or they are part of bigger faction of warlords and conquerers I got a post queued up about fairly soon.

Nega-Suu: Ooh I like this! Perhaps the monsters, who are mainly masses of magic in physical form here, have periodically interacted with the magical realms and the same negative forces that produce the evil kaiju I’ve mentioned before can created inverted, evil equivalents of them. In this case, this Nega-Suu (perhaps I might use a different name for her, like Phagu, as when cells eat another in phagocytosis) wants to be powerful and has fixated on Suu, her unknowing creator, and they are fighting to devour one another and dominate each other. VERY large, very hungry, and likely to be a kaiju-class monster in the service of whatever group can satisfy her hungers/lust until she inevitably ocnsumes them too.

Fell!Undyne: I’d say that Fell!Undyne wouldn’t be the same as the actual AU (since I don’t wanna infringe on someone else’s AU), but the basic concept can apply; perhaps she is called Siren, as a nod to the similarites between undines and sirens in mythology, and has been a long time rival to Undyne. Both dislike humans, but Siren hates them, and non-monsters in general, relishing the opportunity to kill and power up from their souls. Unlike Undyne, she doesn’t use mechs or power armor to channel her fighting spirit through, but assembles a projection from magic for the same effect.

Evil!Android 21: REgular 21 (who still looks all Majin Girl, btw) is definitely around on the MILF Fleet side. Evil!21 is literally her voracious and selfish aspect forced out of her body and taking on a life of her own. AS Primus can attest to, this never turns out well. Without any good aspects to guide her at all, she is a rampaging force of hedonistic annihilation that randomly devours everything in her path, and is on par with canon’s Kid Buu in raw power. She probably ATE Kid Buu, in fact. She’s most likely on her own, though some factions might be able to ‘tame’ her with exotic foods or promises of satisfaction. (She still has some affection for Android 16, however.) Constantly trying to absorb her other half, who in turn wants to devour HER to regain her full power.

She might also be a science leader and work for the Cobalts, but as a very mercurial and uncertain ally? LArge swathes of their serfs are fed to her daily, only to pop back up again to be eaten later on. ACTUALLY WAIT, I like that a lot, she’s with the Cobalts. Possibly she grows hungrier the more powerful she gets, so to keep her hunger to a minimum, she has it mainly sealed off.

GlADOS: not just GLaDOS, but thicc, huge, fembot version. I’ve considered a possible faction that is all about technological innovation and discovering the secrets of the previous civilizations and with little concern for the puny peons who get hurt in the process (perhaps the Aether Foundation was once a part of this, until Wicke and Lusamina split off to the MILFs and Cobalts respectively), and if so, GLaDOS is the true leader of that organization. She typically dwells in a control center on their dominant homeworld, but can upload herself into a gigantic 50ft+ curvaceous frame to handle things directly and make spiteful observations in person.

Queen Ghidorah: OH MY HELL YES. OF COURSE, BUT OF COURSE. Remember that militant faction of conquerers I mentioned before? She is DEFINITELY their ace in the hole, and kept contained and controlled until she is needed. THE DEVIL HAS THREE HEADS. Typically she manifests in a massive amazonian body that is as much destructive golden energy as she is a reptilian monster girl, and her size in full kaiju mode can range from ‘wrecks cities on accident’ to ‘you mean that’s NOT a landmass!?’ cold, cruel, and delighted in devastation

Bowsette: I’m tempted to either make her a separate character from Bowser, or either Bowser just is Bowsette here for the heck of it. Possibly a member of the Cobalts and a regional governor in her own right, queen of an interstellar analogue to the Koopa Kingdom that serves as a major base of operations for the Cobalts. Her base size is on par with Bowser’s scale in Super Mario Sunshine, so a little under building sized. Really loves the Koopalings and Bowser Junior. She’s not SO bad, though; she was at one point a member of a fleet of heroes that comprise all the heroic characters of Super Smash Bros, and characters from associated series!

Maven Black-Briar: this is perfect!! because i have an idea for a faction that is an interstellar crime syndicate and guild of criminals, smugglers and illegal mod/power arms dealers between universes and plaens of existence, and Maven is perfect as a leader or major capo in it. In this case, she is the local head of the group our stories mainly focus on, and she’s got an eye on both the MILFs and Cobalts, intend on stealing their technology and mods/power ups to market them at exorbitant prices... and make thme super addictive in the process.

KHR 070: Kufufufufufufufufufufufu

When we last left off, this happened to Birds.

It was beautiful and cathartic. BUT IT’S IN THE PAST NOW.

Today we will be properly introduced to everyone’s favorite leather-clad miniboss, Lancia! Also, Tsuna meets Mukuro for the first time. Only he doesn’t know it’s Mukuro. Shenanigans!!

Anyway, did you know that the twins actually had names? I didn’t. And I’ve read this chapter like six or seven times by this point, so I have no idea why. It’s really weird, too, because they’re actually really cute names.

Like, I would name a pair of goldfish that. But not the monsters from Amnesia: The Dark Descent.

Kyoko is all, “Hey, Doctor Shamal!” while Hana has a more reasonably skeptical look on her face. Meanwhile, neither of them seems to notice that the mummy from The Mummy franchise is lying there twitching on the ground behind them.

Shamal takes this opportunity for some completely nonsensical flirting.

It’s debatable whether he actually says this just to send them running off all the more quickly. I go back and forth an awful lot when it comes to Shamal. I have very strong feelings about him being an extremely half-assed mentor figure to the very young and impressionable Hayato for a short while, before abruptly running off and leaving my poor child sad and hurt and confused, all because he couldn’t be bothered to explain the concept of, “Please be more careful about trying not to die.” And when I say “very strong feelings”, I mean, “This guy can fuck right off.” That plus the incredibly annoying shounen pervert trope really puts me off the guy.

But even so, sometimes he can be useful.

There’s no denying the dude is a badass, on the few occasions he actually decides to be.

…I feel is something Gokudera actively tries to emulate later on during his own badass moments.

For better or worse, he really does look up to Shamal even now. It’s a little frustrating, but what can you do.

Anyway, lest we forget, Lambo and I-Pin were also being badasses.

Lambo’s flirting is way more gentlemanly and respectful than Shamal’s. Nana raised this boy right.

Tsuna then super-belatedly realizes that there were only supposed to be three people and instead the count is up to at least seven so far! Reborn then explains that these guys broke out of prison along with Mukuro.

“There’s no way the rest could have joined Mukuro.” Um, okay. I’ll just let Tsuna take this one.

Hold up. Can we just take a moment to appreciate Reborn’s face:

Tsuna now feels the need to ask if anyone else will be showing up, because for all we know there are like twelve more of these guys, since Reborn apparently likes to sit on this kind of information until it has become laughably irrelevant.

And in fact Bianchi’s spider-senses do detect someone hiding nearby! Who could it be?

Tsuna is incredibly relieved to see him and immediately starts running over! But Fuuta stops him!

Gokudera shouts that it’s dangerous, but before he and Yamamoto can actually do anything, they are suddenly confronted by the one thing no one ever expects: a fucking steel beam being hurled at them by a pair of sentient leather pants.

Man I knew the mafia was weird but damn.

So meanwhile Tsuna is running through the woods getting himself lost and then ALL OF A SUDDEN he runs into THIS FUCKING GUY

Mukuro responds with the most over-the-top show of wide-eyed innocence that you’ve ever seen in your life. Like, if he’d had a teddy bear handy I’m sure he would have been clutching it and staring up at Tsuna with big chibi eyes.

DON’T TRUST HIM TSUNA EVERYTHING HE’S SAYING IS ENDING WITH TILDES

Look at Tsuna just eating this up, as though he’s not actually a thirteen-year-old child with messy hair who barely clears 100 lbs. Let’s not forget how he immediately screamed upon first coming into contact with Mukuro, before proceeding to say “EHHH!?!” like six times. Yeah, you really fit the profile of a rescue guy, Tsuna. It’s only natural that Mukuro would think of you as such, and not suspicious at all.

Yeah that Hyper Intuition is completely out to lunch, huh.

Mukuro asks Tsuna if he’s come with some really strong friends, and I’m struck speechless by his answer.

“Your friends must be so strong!” “Ah no they suck.”

WOW. 

WOW, TSUNA. 

NEVER MIND THAT THEY’RE YOUR TWO BEST FRIENDS, AND THE #2 AND #3 STRONGEST MIDDLE SCHOOLERS (AND THIS BEING NAMIMORI, EVERYONE KNOWS MIDDLE SCHOOLERS ARE THE STRONGEST!!), AND THEY BOTH SACRIFICED THEMSELVES TO SAVE YOUR SORRY ASS MERE HOURS AGO. I GUESS THAT’S STILL JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO QUALIFY THEM AS “REALLY STRONG”, HUH? WHO EVEN NEEDS THOSE GUYS ANYWAY WHEN YOU’RE OUT TALKING TO YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND OVER HERE!!!

Also note how he’s just completely forgotten about Fuuta now, when he was frantically chasing after him not 60 seconds ago. Is Mukuro’s smiley face tilde energy really this powerful. This is scary.

Since Tsuna is just volunteering all kinds of information with barely any prompting, Mukuro continues to cross-examine him, especially about that baby!

Oh now you can’t mention the details, huh.

Finally Tsuna gets tired of telling Mukuro EVERY GOD DAMN THING and asks about Hibari. (Not Fuuta, though. Fuck that kid.) Mukuro is all, “oh yeah I’ve got him locked up in my basement” and Tsuna asks him where but Mukuro suddenly gets VERY VERY CREEPY

So finally Tsuna realizes that he maybe shouldn’t be out here talking to this mysterious smiling boy with an evil red kanji eye who’s apparently fucking obsessed with finding out what Reborn is capable of, and runs off. Despite having brazenly told Mukuro two pages ago that he was here to rescue him.

Basically everything about this encounter is a colossal embarrassment of a failure on Tsuna’s part. I know Bob Ross said mistakes are just happy little accidents but jesus. OH WELL.

On the other hand, Mukuro had Tsuna [gestures with hands] right there and just let him escape, so. I guess one could argue that he wasn’t trying to capture him at the time. But:

[lets the Vongola Tenth escape] “Let’s get the Vongola Tenth Boss.”

Mukuro then points out how Tsuna is a fucking idiot, before letting loose with a kufufu. Then, feeling that wasn’t quite enough, he lets out another ku, followed by eleven fucking fus.

Look at all of those damn fus.

Mukuro then explains he let Tsuna go in order to “allow the Arcobaleno to show his hand first.” Which is astoundingly overconfident considering that he’s a freaking Arcobaleno, and Mukuro is a fifteen year old kid who just got out of prison and whose strongest ability doesn’t even fucking work unless he manages to cut you with his trident first which, GOOD FUCKING LUCK DOING THAT TO REBORN. BUT OKAY, MUKURO. WE’RE ABOUT TO CUT AWAY FROM YOUR SCENE NOW SO I’LL STOP MAKING FUN OF YOUR STUPID EVIL PLAN FOR THE TIME BEING.

Finally we cut back to the attacking leather pants, which actually belong to Lancia, a male stripper currently in the employment of the Kokuyou gang.

However, before I can continue with the stripper jokes, Gokudera interrupts my train of thought by suddenly being struck by a plot-related ailment at the most inconvenient time possible.

“Because I’m about to keel over lol.”

Okay now back to Magic Mike over here. Just imagine that “Low” by Flo Rida and T-Pain is playing in the background. Here, I’ll help:

Okay so Gokudera, Bianchi, and Yamamoto are momentarily freaking out because they think Lancia is the final boss, rather than the miniboss he actually is. Bianchi, apparently the ONLY ONE who remembers Fuuta exists and cares about him at all, asks “Mukuro” what he’s done with him, to which Lancia basically replies, “idk who that is.”

Gokudera than collapses from his plot-related ailment!

This is actually really funny if you still have “Low” cued up in the background though.

So Yamamoto is all, “I’LL BE YOUR OPPONENT.” But Lancia doesn’t even respond to him other than by launching his giant fucking ball and chain again.

Finally a miniboss that doesn’t fuck around! Hey Ken and M.M., you could both learn a thing or two.

AND IT GETS RESULTS

Ouch.

I know this looks bad, but despite that I just have to take this moment to once again say: YOU COULD HAVE DODGED IT IF YOU WEREN’T WEARING FUCKING FLIP FLOPS

Then there’s a panel of Gokudera being concerned about Yamamoto, so you know I’ve gotta put that in here.

And then we cut to Tsuna, who’s still fucking lost somehow.

Literally just follow the sounds of screaming and explosions and crashing trees, dude.

And then Reborn finally decides to actually do something.

And that’s when you know it’s getting fucking serious, folks.

So not a stand-out chapter, but it establishes Mukuro’s character a bit more, and sets up the extra-long fight scene coming up next time! We’ll finally get to see that Dying Will Bullet action! Which, if you think about it, really makes it stripper vs stripper. Just another day in our shounen mafia manga.

isolatioN au- Au based on the song Bacterial Contamination.  N goes to the snobbiest most pretentious school you can imagine only because his ex mafia boss dad wants the best for him.  N hides the fact he’s being relentlessly bullied until a teacher phones Ghetsis up asking why N is in such a state whenever he comes into school (BC bruises and cuts and looking roughed up in general).  N goes to therapy and gets meds but surprise they’re an experimental drug and he’s a bug boy now

- BotW au where Touya is Link, Cheren as Revali, Bianca is Mipha and Touko is Zelda.  Ghetsis (who is kinda like Demise if he hung around to make sure his curse worked) is the king of a neighboring region who’s a bit of a warmongering asshole but his son N is friends with princess Touko and her…ahem, associates, which is the only reason Touko’s dad stays civil with him at all.  He uses this to his advantage and infects N with the Malice and reveals his plan to take over Unova, knowing fine well that N would run away to Touko for help.  The truth is he’d set up N to be a ticking time bomb and eventually he becomes the Calamity.  After the whole ~100 year coma and releasing the divine beasts~ thing Touya only remembers who N is after killing him but dw there’s a blood moon just as Touko is sealing the Malice away and N’s freed spirit is brought back to become a friendly giant fluffy spider boy just because I said so

- Ib au with N as Mary (obv Ghetsis is Guertena) except instead of going crazy and trying to kill everyone and being burned up and dying himself the toutous make him sit in the frame while they drag it out of the portal to the real world: problem solved.  I have all this stuff about the others being able to step into his frame but he can’t leave unless someone else draws him so he can possess the drawing but I won’t go into it here BC this post is gonna be long enough already

-Okay I have two madoka aus because possibilities for N are Ndless but I’ve only really developed the dicksis version whereas I only have a witch design for a possible dadsis version so here’s the dicksis one.  The first: Ghetsis is kinda like Walpurgisnacht and N was originally a familiar that represented Ghetsis’ interest being only in things that directly oppose him who was becoming powerful enough to become a witch of his own.  Not wanting him to have even a fraction of power himself Ghetsis transformed him into a human shape, gave him sentience and intelligence and as close to a pure heart as possible so he would be easier to manipulate and led him to believe that magical girls/boys hunt down innocent witches for fun and have witches trapped in their soul gems and tasks N with stealing people’s soul gems to ‘free the witch inside’.  The problem is that the alteration gave N the mindset of ‘innocents who aren’t involved must be protected at all costs’ rather than Ghetsis’ mindset of ‘don’t give a fuck about anyone unless they’re a problem’.  N is also sent to integrate into human society so that he can find magical peepos easier so he ends up coincidentally going to school with the Nuvema kiddos.  He ends up becoming friends with them until he finds out Cheren and Bianca are magicas (I’m just gonna call them that for simplicity) but even though the toutous arent magicas they still support them which is all very upsetting and conflicting for N but he tries his best to protect the witches and steal more soul gems until the others eventually call him out on it and prove to him that the shit Ghetsis told him is bull.  When he goes to confront him about it it’s too late, Ghetsis has absorbed enough witches to become a Walpurgisnacht-like entity, and finally allows N to become a witch.  I’ll link the drawings I’ve done of him but basically his labyrinth would be like a puppet theater and even tho hes the witch he’d have this fuckin giant messed up ghetsis-lookin puppet master familiar who pulls at his strings and coordinates his attacks.  There’d be an audience of masked figures that look like all the magicas he’s caused the deaths of, tiny animals with scissors to represent his wish for freedom and also his fear of his ‘father’ since they never actually get to cut the strings holding him up, and figures that look a heck of a lot like the nuvema kiddos watching in a balcony.  This is all tied into a theory I came up with that almost all the witches are able to be saved since yknow how Homura had that figure of Madoka locked away and Madoka was able to bring her back, and how Sayaka had the violin guy and Charlotte had that doll that probably represents her dead mother? My guess is that if the people those figures represent are brought to the witch and reach out to them the magical girl inside would be able to be freed.  But yeah since N was never really a human the Nuvema kiddos can only really save a fraction of his conscious and he ends up like Bebe.  They all beat the shit out of Ghetsis and everyone lives happily ever after with their pocket witch bf

- the au where 1) plasma and aether are sort of swapped around and 2) N beats the toutous in the final battle.  This is actually based on nationalharmonica’s courtesaN au which is awesome BTW (but it doesn’t involve actual courtesans or N being a courtesan at all but its Sarah’s au so if you’re interested you should totally ask her about it).  Ghetsis keeps Touko and Touya prisoner and just to rub it in their faces blackmails Cheren and Bianca into joining and doing sciency experiment shit which ends up with Touko and Touya becoming UB fusions/hybrids themselves; Touya with Kartana and Touko with Celesteela.  Ofc in the later stages they are able to destroy their place of confinement and escape with Cheren and Bianca to find N who becomes understandably fucked off and upset that his friends have been put through all this shit but begs them not  to kill Ghetsis so he can ask what’s going on.  When he does Ghetsis stabs him with a syringe full of UB fusion shit because he knows fine well hes gonna die he just wanted a final ‘fuck you’ before he is killed by both fire and paper cuts.  Surprise! It’s a Guzzlord.  N becomes a big squishy boy. I’ve done drawings of N in human Guzzlord fusion/hybrid form but I’ve been afraid of posting it but uh if anyones interested i will

- Simplified fNaf dadsis au - basically N and the Nuvema kiddos are the ones that were killed and stuffed in the animatronics, Ghetsis owns the place but risks going bankrupt pouring money into helping find the culprit and also his son and his friends when they’ve been stuck in the one restaurant he kept open to stay afloat.  Nate is the new nightguard and they decide to fuck with him to get rid of some of the boredom of being alone together in the one building for like…30 years or so.  In the end they fess up and make Nate pizza as an apology and they’re chill again

- sister locatioN dicksis au - I already summarised a thing i wrote of it in response to an anon but I’ll include here too.  Once again Ghetsis owns all the shit with the animatronics.  Anthea and Concordia get killed by one of them when they were young so years later Ghetsis sends N down to ‘free’ them (surprise he only wanted to get rid of N) but since their spirits have been fused into one hideous amalgamation of animatronics they’ve gone a bit loopy and want to leave.  The whole scooping room thing ensues and they accidentally turn their brother into a zombie

- Nombie au bc Z is a sideways N heheh I ahven’t thought up much of the background for it but it involves Plasma being a pharmaceutical company that is sort of accidentally being the cause of it.  N gets separated from his dad who ends up being the leader of a large group of people in a little town sort of thing they were able to reclaim but is Sad bc he thinks his son is dead which ends up being half true bc surprise N is half immune and ends up being a conscious zombie boy who wears a curtain as a cloak so he doesnt immediately frighten people bc he got his eye shot out by hillbilies, his face scratched up, his throat bitten out and his heart impaled on a pole (hes a freak without a human heart geddit) zombie apocalypse stuff happens

- isolatioN au - basically spawned from the thought of ’what if N was kept even more hidden away/locked up/never even left at all’.  Plasma is instead secretly in the Pokemon poaching/hunting/selling business but are disguised as…well you already know about Plasma.  The nuvema kiddos had varying levels of rough childhood and were desperate for money so they all joined up; the toutous as night guards and the dualrival s as researchers.  Hidden deep in the facility is a certain tree haired manchild who has been kept in a cage for pretty much his entire life.  Ghetsis does a mother gothel and makes out its to keep him safe and brings him Pokemon to ask about where they live and what other kinds of Pokemon live there so that Ghetsis can release them safely back into the wild go hunt for more Pokemon in the area if there’s anything good there
