I keep forgetting to post this, but a while ago I got some truly gorgeous sculpts by Bulkamancer for a fun (and educational!) painting time. The level of detail on these is mindblowing.

Aylin's got some progress on her, though there's still soooo much work to be done (and I am genuinely looking forward to not having her wings occupy half my desk):

After 5.9 hours of prep, thirteen months of planning, and six-plus years of dating, it finally happened

My big sister just got married, I won't share names but please share in our pure joy and happiness for the absolutely stunning bride and groom. Love won years ago but it finally got to celebrate it tonight, at the most beautiful wedding to ever be held.

Hey Rotomblr how do you date.

Like. I have no idea how I got this date. But what do I do.

Is this when I'm supposed to wear a dress and be feminine and pretty? Or is she into more masculine people and I should be wearing a decent shirt and pants? Should I be covering up all of these scars? I mean, she's already seen them, but maybe she won't like how they look in person, or maybe it's a bad idea to go out to a coffee shop as me, and not just "Vanilla the normal human", but then again, maybe that's what she likes?

What was I even like back as a kid that she remembered me so well? I really hope she's not still expecting some cool criminal runaway that breaks into homes... Because I am so the opposite of that now, but then again she's had to have seen more about me, right?

I wonder if she knows about the Galar League, or the Cresses, or me being Champion Rank, or this blog... arc, Cheri, I hope you're not reading this I'm a mess.

And then there's what to do after grabbing coffee, if things go well (miraculous outcome, really)... Do most people just ask for a PKMNSnap, or a Luminstagram? Is it rude to go straight to texting? Should we go somewhere else after if it does go well? ...Is the ferris wheel way too forward? Is hand-holding too much?

I'm sorry. I'm so sorry to anybody reading this absolute breakdown of professionality. Just...

People be like "oh cartoon characters have hardly any outfits" but you know who is really out in the trenches? Characters on the CD covers of 2000s-era audio drama who exist only in their outift from tv show in the 70s with an uber strong colour overlay filter.

continuing my superhero hate train itsv was a marvel movie but it wasn’t a MARVEL movie like atsv which introduces 50 cute characters then abandons them after 25 mins to make 50 repetitive chase scenes and leave it on a cliffhanger to get that sweet sweet sequel

i told lynn about my recent explosion onto the local theatre scene and she goes "WOW! sounds like you started a whole new career! they've co-opted my assistant!!!" and i went "i know!!!!! i left my house for ONE NIGHT and never went back in again lmaoooo"

in other news: charlotte* is in the play i'm stage managing. so ....... that'll be fun. i'll have to hide a goofy smile and try not to stare into her cerulean eyes during rehearsals, but hey it'll be good practice for when [redacted] happens and i'll have three ladies over 65 (four if you count lynn) staring me in the face for a solid week at least. :))))

*charlotte keefe is the board president of taos onstage and apparently a playwright and creator of a one-woman show about frances perkins. she toured with that and got her hands on the script for Ann and debated on doing that one too, but ended up deciding against it. i actually said out loud "so you are to frances perkins what holland taylor is to ann richards" and she nodded with big smile. i know she's proud of that show. and i'm **thrilled** to get to work with her, the director, and the group of actors that have agreed to do this play. i'm strESSED but i'm excited.

my first real grade done! panel lined and (almost) fully decaled with waterslides! i really want the yellow insignias gold so ill likely be looking for alternatives for the shield and skirting armour but once ive found those, a matte coat and shes FINISHED finished. really proud!
