I keep forgetting to post this, but a while ago I got some truly gorgeous sculpts by Bulkamancer for a fun (and educational!) painting time. The level of detail on these is mindblowing.

Aylin's got some progress on her, though there's still soooo much work to be done (and I am genuinely looking forward to not having her wings occupy half my desk):

I don't give a fuck where they come from, they could've been French, Italian (though they're fucked too), Russian, Japanese — but they come from Brazil and are fucking delu, rude as shit, and entitled. I cackle every time I see one of them getting zapped for spam in Aliyah's Lives.

What is it? Is it the water? Maybe it's the heat. I feel like the closer to the equator you get, the more fucked in the head you could turn out to be from the heat. It's the same on a smaller scale here in the U.S., as we can see that the heat likes to cook brains into conservatism (while in Brazil I guess it just breeds contempt of manners). Like. I have no idea how I got this date. But what do I do.

Is this when I'm supposed to wear a dress and be feminine and pretty? Or is she into more masculine people and I should be wearing a decent shirt and pants? Should I be covering up all of these scars? I mean, she's already seen them, but maybe she won't like how they look in person, or maybe it's a bad idea to go out to a coffee shop as me, and not just "Vanilla the normal human", but then again, maybe that's what she likes?
