Being in your mid twenties is wild. One of my old friends / classmates from elementary to HS is married and having her first kid while I’m over here playing TTRPG biweekly and considering joining to the local climbing gym for a new hobby while living with my mother, hoping for a housing market crash so I can afford my own place.
#just to be clear#I am happy with my life#I like what I got going on#I have no desire to be married or have a kid at this moment#would like more of a social circle#but there’s something amusing about the duality of#us being in two very different positions#she’s contemplating childcare costs and I’m contemplating buying climbing shoes in hopes to meet people
