Oh man... Reading Sweetkit's naming comic strip just makes my mind run to different places. I wonder just how much Honeyspring's spirit remembers Sweetkit when they first interact with her - in fact, I wonder how much of Sweetkit's first meeting with Honeyspring was accidental and how much was Honeyspring *seeking* Sweetie out. Actually, if she thought Sweetkit was so lovely, then wouldn't it be just soooo sweet to have the kits play with her? Come on, Honeyspring, come out while mean Tanglefern and the rest aren't looking! After all, it seems little Palekit has just awakened and wants to play! Honeyspring stares blankly ahead, into the great expanse of the field beyond, scraping their claws against the dirt, and slowly scrambling free. With great effort, and the noisy cracking of bones, she pushes herself from the dirt.

It does not hurt. Their nerves had frayed a long time ago, stuffed with poison, and their bones were soft as moss, riddled with rot. All that plagues her is the deep, uncomfortable gnaw of emptiness; empty where her kits would be, empty where her heart would be, empty, empty, empty.

For a moment, they look to the sky and see the evening sun, the only star that dared witness them. She does not feel the warmth on her face, or the cool breeze blowing through her fur, only the empty nothing. So, with limp legs, she stumbles into the field, towards the distant tree line, and thinks of home.

i am sick and tired of seeing the rare time that bertholdt is mention on tiktok being just “oh ahahahaha annie didn’t like him and armin stole his girl omg so sad :( he must be heartbroken” there is more to his character than being obsessed with annie (which he wasn’t…he just cared about her. he got angry when the scouts said they were torturing her bc…he cares. and yeah he technically does have a crush but yk), in fact that’s such a small part of his character it’s ridiculous how that’s the only thing people care about.

he was such a kind soul, he never judged, he knew that the world was cruel and he knew that no one was truly the monsters. he could have been friends with the scouts because he wasn’t rude. he didn’t hold a grudge. like. guys. please

also realistically he wouldn’t gaf about aruani. if u really do think he loved annie then he might be a bit sad but that’s it. he’s probably just hanging in the afterlife with his dad guys cmon.

I feel like it absolutely would change my thoughts about Thor 1 and 2 but hear me out because the gender change in the context of what I understand of Asgardian society would mean Loki starts out as a younger sister thanklessly expected to mediate Thor’s violent tendencies and by the end of the movie she’s turned into what is basically Hela

absolutely devoured Thunder and Shadow in a reread and God they really could have made the first 3 AVoS books into a whole arc. SO much happens and theres such huge time skips - TaA skips the entire leafbare they'd been discussing and fearing- and the pacing is so janky. They skim over what could be really good moments. ShadowClan's illness. WindClan's paranoia. Going on massive quests every couple chapters. Even in Shattered Sky they bring back fucking SkyClan while RiverClan is being occupied, and then Darktail is defeated and we all kinda agree the arc goes to shit. Soooo much happens in 1-3 they just skip over!!!!
