i admire how much she loved the kingdom

she dedicated her life to storing its knowledge. she sacrificed herself to protect it. she gave up her mask, her assistant, everything to insure that the plan wouldn’t fail.

and despite everyone’s efforts, it failed anyway.

but when this happened, she didn’t plant her feet in the ground. she didn’t act out of stubbornness.

while the other two were dead set on upholding the seals, she realized that a world forever unchanging had, in every sense, already died. she embraced change. she was the one to say ‘that’s enough.’

“better an end.”

every action she took was was out of love for the kingdom. it wasn’t out of loyalty to the king, it wasn’t to preserve her legacy, it was for the kingdom as a whole. the kingdom that she loved so much, she welcomed death for it. twice.

that takes an incredible amount of courage and strength
