People are saying things like "oh going to the boiling isles traumatized Luz" which yeah it did, but also Luz had a HUGE amount of trauma before she even stepped foot through the portal in s1e1 and people keep minimizing and ignoring that.

#she watched her father die! she had to watch her mother grieve! she was bullied and alienated her entire life! she was completely alone!#all of that before the age of 14 is incredibly traumatic #she wasnt an innocent sunshine and rainbows baby character before shit got real in the boiling isles #she was hurting and struggling from her loneliness and self worth issues and grief and feeling rejected by her mom #she was just good at hiding it #and denying it #something she does again and again throughout the series #toh #the owl house
