once in 12th grade english class this girl i don’t like was giving a presentation about a poem and she introduced the poem by saying “this poem is by walt whitman, who if you’ve read before you should definitely checkout, i highly recommend” and for reasons i do not understand and will never be addressing this made me so unspeakably annoyed to the point of anger
