the scene where anthony tells kate that he wants to go to India so that their child knows their history and that he does too is so important especially for brown girls who are so often told to focus on integrating into their new households and forget their family once they get married. it really shows how much he values all parts of kate’s identity and who she is beyond just being viscountess, a wife, a future mother, etc. and then kate’s reaction of being fully and completely overwhelmed because she could never have imagined that he would be the one to bring it up, let alone being there for the birth makes me so emotional 😭

Yeah, it's nice you could join us! We all got to Anistar a while ago and have already challenged the gym here once, though Trevor and I need another go at it.

In any case, what I wanted to talk with you all about: the Anistar sundial! This mysterious crystal has towered over the city for as long as anyone has recorded, even to the time of the ancient kings. Every day at sunset, when the light shines just right, the rings begin to turn and the sunlight is transformed into a glittering haze across the town. A light which is remarkably similar to the energy released when a pokemon evolves!

What does that mean?

Excellent question, Trevor! It means there could be a connection – after all, no one knows quite where the Anistar sundial came from. Some even claim it's from space! Now, Fluttershy, if you would... touch your mega ring to the crystal.

[Fluttershy is not wearing the mega ring, and has to dig through her saddlebags to find it.]

First, actually, this reminds me of something I've meant to do for a while now. Calem, at the tower in Shalour City, we had a battle to see who would get this mega ring from the guru there. The battle went in my favor, but... I've never really made use of it. I haven't needed mega evolution – there's only one battle I can recall where it really would have made a difference, an unofficial dark-type gym in Lumiose, and I completely forgot I had the ring on me and it ended with a draw.

What I mean is, I think you should have this. I know you wanted it, and it's not fair of me to keep the ring when I'm not using it.

[Fluttershy crosses the plaza and gives the mega ring to a somewhat stunned Calem.]

Oh, and this mega stone too. Absolite, I think it was called?

I... if you're sure? You really–

I mean it. The ring is yours. Now, let's see if the Professor is onto something here!

[Fluttershy returns to where she'd been standing, as Calem reaches over to touch the mega ring to the Anistar sundial. The gem set into the ring glows and is briefly surrounded by a cloud of pinkish sparkles, and in Calem's other hand the absolite stone also begins to faintly emit a pulsing light.]

Incredible... there is a connection! I suspect the mega ring has absorbed some kind of power from the sundial, something which this crystal shares with mega stones. It will take further study, of course, but in the meantime... look! That glow could be used to locate and identify other mega stones. Though perhaps only while the sundial is active in the sunset...? Much testing to do, eh, Calem?

I can't wait to hear all about how you use mega evolution in your battles from now on!

You bet I will! Just don't expect me to hold back the next time we have a spar, okay?

Of course! I'd suggest we have a friendly match right now, but there's actually some things I'd like to talk to the Professor about, while we're here face to face again.

[Calem nods, and he and the other kids head down the stairs together back into Anistar City. Fluttershy and the Professor remain behind, both looking out over the river behind the sundial crystal.]

xavier is her neighbor.

she was trained to use various weapons; guns, blade, claymore, bow, wand (and possibly more.)

zayne gave her snow seal he made to sure her up when she was young but she thought they were just snow balls for years. she got a new one decade later.

she got the easter egg plushie that xavier thought was a bomb.

she got the swimming fish from rafayel.

she got good reflexes, if not excellent due to her condition.

she is rafayel's bodyguard when he needs someone to bother lol.

she likes going to destiny cafe to enjoy some quality time.
