not my mom using sarcasm and then later being literal but with the same phrasing so I thought she's being sarcastic again sighhhhh

#she said firstly “oh theres carpet tho” and i said “on the floor?” and she said “no on the ceiling and the walls 🙄”#i meant if it was carpet floors or just like a normal carpet !!!!!!!!!#she doesnt like carpeted floors #then she goes “it costs 700 per square feet to get it removed” and i go “the carpet” and she goes “the roof”#but she was genuine about it being the roof #???????#stop this madness
