i’ve noticed that cancer placements tend to rlly like anime and i honestly think it’s because anime girls typically have this soft girl vibe and they may be rlly into that

gemini & scorpio placements together tend to be very curious and good at solving that curiosity

for example: they could wonder (gemini) why someone does something and be able to use their detective skills (scorpio) to find out what they want to know

moon in 4th overlays tend to create a long-lasting crush or that may create feelings of always having a soft spot for that person

similar to my last post, i think cardinal signs in angular houses are very good at achieving or going after what they want in those major life aspects meanwhile fixed signs in angular houses may be a little more fixated and expect certain life stages to go as planned and may not budge or give up when something doesn’t go as planned

these imo are interesting to see play out when different signs fall into different house types (angular, succedent & cadent)

Quick disclaimer ig: this is just my personal interpretation of these placements. If you read the way I describe something and you think to yourself “hang on, I have this placement and this doesn’t sound like me at all” that would be because a) I am an amateur astrologer and I do this for fun, I don’t know everything about every sign/planet, and b) no placement exists in isolation - it’s influenced by the house it’s in as well as any other planets aspecting it - so it’s possible that the placement manifests in a less conventional/standard way due you because of such factors.

EDIT: my first draft of this post was not super beginner friendly so here’s a quick astrology 101 to help people understand wtf I’m talking about. Skip to the next photo if you don’t need a primer.

Everyone has ten main planets in their birth chart, each of those planets will fall under a different sign depending on when and where you were born. The planet governs an area of your personality, the sign shows what that area of your personality is like. Some quick definitions of the relevant planets for this post:

Sun: the one everyone thinks of when asked ‘what’s your star sign’. Your basic personality, your core, your ego.

Moon: symbolises emotion, intuition, your private internal world, and how feelings are expressed.

Mercury: symbolises communication, intellectual reasoning, and how you learn.

Venus: symbolises romance, aesthetics, how you socialize, and pleasure-seeking behaviours like shopping or sightseeing.

Mars: the source of your passion/drive/motivation. Symbolises where and how you expend your energy.

Retrograde: not a planet, just something the planets do sometimes. At some points in the year the planets look like they’re moving ‘backwards’ through the sky, and this alters their influence on the birth chart.

Megumi... I always suspected he had scorpio influence somewhere in his chart and turns out I was right!! Not only scorpio venus but scorpio mars too?? I’m obsessed with this. Scorpio is a water sign (read: big on emotions), the embodiment of the phrase ‘still waters run deep’, and though scorpio placements are not always loud about their affection they tend to bond in a pretty intense way with their chosen people. Those venus and mars placements together really do speak of ride or die devotion - no wonder he’s Like That when it comes to Yuuji people he cares about.

His jupiter and saturn are both in retrograde; I would not have predicted it because I don’t think about natal retrograde all that much, but it actually makes a lot of sense imo. Retrograde jupiter usually indicates someone who is internally very philosophical in the sense that the person will define their own firm moral/ethical code instead of following a familial or societal belief system, which is pretty much megumi ‘I save people according to my own conscience’ fushiguro in a nutshell. While retrograde saturn is basically like. On the outside you’re stoic but on the inside you’re a worrywart, and you take responsibility Super Seriously but you also don’t like people with authority pushing you around needlessly. Which is also megumi in a nutshell lol.

His leo moon was a surprise but I honestly think it works for him because this is definitely where Unhinged Feral Megumi comes from: when he decides to go all out he gets such a flair for the dramatic. capricorn sun and capricorn mercury are pretty intuitive tbh, he really gives off capricorn vibes - practical, reserved, loyal, ambitious and tenacious, possessing a dry wit, capable of putting in steady hard work to get to where he wants to be.

I was already aware of Nobara’s leo sun because we’ve had their birth dates for a while now (birthplace is the new info which lets me draw the whole chart). But her cancer moon is such a lovely placement under that hard outer shell of hers. Nobara seems like she does not have a nurturing bone in her body, but it’s wrong to stereotype cancers as exclusively homebody motherly types - they have deep loyalty for their chosen family/home and they’ll go to the ends of the earth for those people in their own way whatever that may be... she really is a softie deep down 🥰 she really does care 🥰 thinkin about the end of her ch 125 flashback in this context

Nobara’s virgo mercury is actually kind of funny to me because while it indicates a natural gift for intellect and a talent for sorting out the fine details, it also has the potential to make someone a harsh critic who can nitpick and be quite blunt in stating their opinions... this is very Nobara, she does Not spare the feelings of anyone she is talking to lol.

Libra venus!! She has libra venus that’s so perfect!!! this placement is sophisticated and charming and always classy, these people adore that classic chocolates-and-roses romance but they turn love of all kinds into an art form. Traditionally the placement is also associated with people who care about beauty and harmony, who will go out of their way to look good for their companions. Also her leo mars... I love that. It’s really amplifying her bold outspoken flashy self-loving take-charge nature. Queen energy right here.

She has a bunch of natal retrogrades but the one I want to talk about is retrograde uranus... this one is Very fitting and again almost funny in the context of her character. You know how she’s always convinced she’s the only sane person in the room when actually she’s the unhinged one 24/7 and not self aware about that in the slightest? Yeah. That’s big retrograde uranus vibes.

Oh Yuuji... I could talk about your pisces sun all day 🥺 I could get Very technical and meta about the pisces association with the twelfth house and the fact that it’s ruled by neptune and what that says about his character, but I don’t have the room or the time so I’ll save that for another post. For now I’ll just say that the fact that he cares so deeply for others regardless of how well he knows them, the way he feels his feelings so intensely and is very intuituve/sensitive to others needs, him being interested in the occult before he ever found Sukuna’s fist finger, it all just seems more pisces to me than any other sign. And him having pisces mercury + pisces uranus in addition to his sun is also very sweet... our boy really thinks with his heart at all hours of the day doesn’t he?

His libra moon is such a fitting placement, too, because this moon is all about relationships - not just romance but bonds of all kinds, friends and family and companions of any sort. Yuuji as a character is so motivated by the bonds he shares with others and his desire to not be alone, especially on his deathbed. Libra moons are charming and personable and find it very easy to connect with others, they are deeply concerned with justice and will be accepting of everyone except for people who are cruel (exhibit a: just look how he responded to mahito). I think it’s a very apt moon for him to have.

Tbh if I were picking and choosing I might have loaded him up with yet more pisces energy and given him my favourite placement in the whole world, venus in pisces. But he actually has an aquarius venus and I think that’s so interesting! The part of this placement that speaks to his character for me is the way that aquarius venus love is defined by radical acceptance - there is never any judgement (I won’t judge you, Junpei!), because this venus seeks not only to see and understand but to be seen and understood in turn. Some say aquarius venus is an emotionally detached placement. I think that’s a mischaracterisation, but it is true that aquarius placements can be low key scared of intimacy and vulnerability even when they crave it lmao. An aquarius venus will sort through turmoil in their heart by retreating to think it over in isolation, rather than by submitting to the mortifying ordeal of being known and reaching out. All I can say about his capricorn mars is that it definitely embodies that determined protagonist vibe. Thoughts like ‘I want to get stronger, I want to be the best, I’ll put in the work to come out on top’ are very capricorn thoughts to have, and the drive and forward momentum associated with mars really push them to the front of his character. But also, again; an underdeveloped capricorn mars under stress will shut out possibilities for connection with loved ones by dedicating themselves to their job or cause. if you could give a rising sign to some Disney princes and princesses what would they be? i don’t have many i’ve thought of but ariel immediately stands out as pisces to me, and pocahontas immediately stands out as any of the fixed risings, maybe excluding leo. jasmine seems like capricorn. mulan could be cancer? maybe virgo. as for princes, flynn rider seems like he could be leo and naveen seems like sag or maybe just fire. li shang could be a scorpio or aries.

Ohhh what a cute question! I am sadly not too familiar with disney, as in knowing all movies by the heart (I'm not that much of a movie junkie to begin with asdfgh) so this list might be rather short and basic! Plus, I think a lot of times their rising signs need to go hand in hand with their possible Sun signs!

Okay so I think Rapunzel easily has a lot of mutuable energy for me, there's a lot of Gemini/Sagittarius/Virgo to her, but I also see Pisces, Aquarius and Aries. For me, she always has been either a Gemini or Pisces with a Gemini/Sagittarius or Aries rising. And yes she's got bomb hair but it's part of Gothel's magic, so no hair indication for a possible Leo rising <'3 (leo rising do have all prominent and gorgeous hair wow but that's besides the point asdfgh). Rapunzel is just very curious and young at heart, she's eager to be free and her seek of freedom easily beats her fear of her mother, so I think if she'd have a birthchart there's probably prominent Pisces, Gemini, Aquarius, Aries or Sagittarius. Especially with her always keeping her optimism, which sometimes can turn into naivity (btw I love Rapunzel, one of the best disney movies imo).

Tiana (another one of the holy trinity of disney princesses) was always a Capricorn with a Virgo rising, or a Virgo with a Cancer rising for me. I kinda see these signs very prominent in her angles and personal planets. Especially a Cancer rising with an Aries MC (becoming free, autonomous) could be true, a Scorpio rising as well though (dreaming of her restaurant, having a very emotionally open family, but having to work hard and be disciplined and presenting the self as such, Virgo MC). But I could also see her having Capricorn MC with a Cancer IC, so an Aries rising. Tiana definitely has a some strong cardinal and fixed energy to her, she is very rooted in the work ethic of her parents and she hold close to her roots as they are her constant motivation, I mean, her love for cooking and baking started early on in her childhood years. And I think the way she handles Naveen reinforces how much she cares about someone being reliable, honest and trustable, because she needs people and things to be constant and there the most. So for me she has to have prominent earth, fixed energy or Cancer/Scorpio.

Mulan....I mean, I know the whole empathize lies on her stepping up for her father, which of course can lead to family ties, but when it comes down to it Mulan also does what's right on a general ethical level. I think Cancer Rising definitely carry those strong justice energy for those who are in need, but so can Aries, Scorpio, Virgo, Capricorn, Libra and Aquarius rising. I think these really stand out for me, because I also keep that IC-MC axis in mind, which can show where you came from and where you're heading and what you want to become. Mulan's journey always impressed me because she is willing to 'live a lie' and be in the shadows and risk her own well being for what is right in her eyes, thus I'd always associated strong Saturn, Neptune, as well as Scorpio, Aries/Mars, Virgo/6th house, and Aquarius/Cancer/Moon with her. I always thought these planets and signs must have been prominent in her chart.

To be honest I haven't watched the Ariel original in a while, I only have the sequel in mind with her daughter (which is BOMB by the way, I'm sorry but I really like Ariel 2). So my guess here is pretty vague, but I see strong Pisces/Gemini in her as well. For me those two sure can speak for curiosity and adaptability, but also Pisces represents her willingness for sacrifice. If I remember correctly Ariel was also kinda the odd one out among her sister, because she was just in her own world, right? She might have some prominent water with air in her chart, especially Cancer/Pisces with Gemini and Aquarius, possibly Sagittarius/Leo/5th house influence as well.

I also haven't watched Pochahontas in a loooong time, but she always carried Scorpio/Pisces/Virgo/Leo/Sagittarius energy for me. Pisces, Taurus or Virgo Ascendant, but I'm leaning more to Pisces and Virgo. I can't give an in depth explaination because I really can't remember the details of the movie anymore, maybe I'll be able to rewatch it and give an in depth explaination asdfgh

But I can for sure say (okay maybe not for sure but if I remember the film correctly) that John Smith is a Leo with Scorpio rising to me and at best with a fixed/cardinal moon. With Virgo Sun (you) and Capricorn Sun (Taehyung) the initial attraction should be strong enough to propel these two into a relationship if either is willing to make the first move. Once they get started, they will find many common goals and plenty to talk about.  Both are mature, responsible and loyal.  Capricorn can be slow to act even if he is in love and needs to be absolutely sure of someone before he will commit.  Virgo, already prone to worry, may become anxious and wonder if he was ever interested at all.  Once you survive the waiting game, however, Capricorn is loyal to the end. 

The sexual relationship should be easy and exciting due to a natural chemistry between these two Earth signs. A/n: Mars and Lilith are the sex signs, the ones that determine physical compatibility according to the zodiac, so I focused on them with one side note from his Sagittarius rising because it’s thotty and I love it

*Mars in Capricorn plus Lilith in Cancer for Taehyung means that he is almost assuredly someone who highly ties emotions to sexual encounters. I headcanon him as at least partially demisexual and this supports that theory. Sexually, this means the more stable your relationship is and the more he is in love with you the more fire your sex will be. Your Mars in Sagittarius is kind of the opposite - you could take or leave emotions with sex, and that might worry him. Taehyung isn’t normally a jealous or possessive person, but with your chart placements being in flirty and seductive signs like Libra and Leo, he might be a little wary that you will look elsewhere or he isn’t exciting enough for you, so this can cause some strife and salty behavior, IMO.

A/n: This is a drabble that goes along with this chart as commissioned! Some explanation will go afterward as to how I based this drabble on the chart compatibility.

You and Taehyung alternate between talking all night and sitting comfortably in silence for hours, his hand on your knee or alternately, the back of your head against his chest while you’re reclined on the couch.

You don’t even have on background noise like television or music, usually, and you’re comforted by the sounds of his breathing, the brush of his lips against your ear when he speaks softly to you.

It feels like you’ve known him for ages, but something’s missing, a hole right through your stomach, and you can’t bring yourself to ask him if he feels it too.

It takes weeks of this, weeks of being best friends, him bringing you coffee in the mornings, texting you goodnight every night at exactly the same time, but then suddenly coming over at 3am after a concert, wired and wanting to talk to you for hours. He’s predictable in his unpredictability, anyway, and you find comfort in that, too.

Because you hope that one day that’ll manifest in him finally kissing you or asking you out, because you’ve been waiting and hoping since the day you met. Sometimes you feel like it’s close, he’ll smirk a lot more or be extra handsy after a glass of wine, sometimes he’ll make remarks about your clothes or your legs in a skirt, and you’ll think: finally, it’s happening.

Then the next day he comes to your house and barely touches you, just chats for a bit and watches a movie as if you were just old friends.

Reluctantly, after urging from friends and a persistent suitor at work, you decide to go out on a date, and you’re nervous about it while you’re at Taehyung’s for dinner, pushing your food around on the plate instead of eating.

“What’s wrong?” He’s frowning at you, leaned over the table, and you sigh.

“I’m just nervous about this date I’m going on tomorrow.”

He chokes on his food and clears his throat a few times before he speaks, and he won’t look at you.

“A date, huh?” 

He’s got his jaw set, almost looks angry, and you cock your head, feeling your heart race.

“Yeah,” you say, slowly. “A date.”

“So like...we aren’t exclusive?”

You feel like he’s punched you in the throat. Exclusive? What did that mean? You’ve literally never had a conversation about dating ever in the full month you’ve known him and spent almost every day with him.

“Tae, are we dating?”

“What do you mean, are we dating? Of course we’re dating?” He looks at you, head cocked like a confused puppy, hurt in his dark eyes.

You can’t help but chuckle. He looks so adorable.

“Taehyung, you know, traditionally, you are supposed to actually ask someone out before you start being exclusive, you know?”

He’s still frowning, almost pouting now. “I ask you out all the time, petal.” 

You inwardly swoon at that nickname, one he rarely used, usually only when he was teasing you or trying to talk you into something, and with that voice and those big dark eyes, he could probably talk you into walking off a cliff.

“Taehyung, honestly, so you don’t want me to go out on a date tomorrow?”

He grits his teeth. “Definitely not.” 

You want to squeal at his short bark, how he rejects that idea entirely.

“Tae, you want to date me? Like...date me date me?”

“Yes! Of course!” He throws up his hands in exasperation. “I didn’t know I needed to sign a contract or anything.” He’s grumbling now but you can’t stop smiling.

“Really?”

He stands up and walks over to you, leans down, takes your face in his hands while your heart is doing flips in your chest.

His eyes are soft when he looks into your eyes. “Can I kiss you?”

You sigh deep in your chest. “God, Tae, I thought you’d never ask.”

He smirks before he kisses you so soft and slow you think your heart might break.

Explanation for how this drabble relates to the chart

Taehyung’s Capricorn/Sagittarius Cusp sun makes him both predictable and unpredictable, so he’s really confusing reader in that he acts flirty sometimes and then backs off because he’s afraid to rush into anything. His Aries moon also makes him spontaneous, although his Capricorn sun and Mars will dampen that, so he’d really need a push to make a move.

The Capricorn Mars and Cancer Lilith together mean it will take him FOREVER to make a move because the Cancer is afraid of rejection and the Capricorn is afraid of making a wrong decision.

When reader is going out on a date, the possessive Aries moon jumps out and makes a move, FINALLY.
