my friend asked me if i think minkowski likes hallmark movies and i feel like it swung something in my brain wide open. oh my god she totally does.
#she loves terrible christmas movies... oh no...#love the idea that minkowski is a sap about christmas because like#yeah in canon you could say it's about maintaining normalcy or whatever. but she does also seem genuinely invested in it#and it's eiffel's worst nightmare.#he draws a physical line and tells her she can't decorate past it that's his personal war on christmas#wasn't going to tag this but you know what. why not.#wolf 359#w359#renee minkowski#also that one track title about her eating ice cream while watching 50 shades and enjoying it non-ironically. and how emma sherr-ziarko#said that informed her understanding of the character. obsessed with it.

(Go off drama king â¨)

Red: ..sure, I gues-
Dizzy: Great! I've always wanted to go on a double date!
Red & Chloe: ...
Chloe: Dizzy...
(You'll thank her later, Chloe.)
---
Dizzy: I honestly feel like some of our conversations here are almost word-for-word accurate to the generator.
Celia: Yup.
Red: Maybe the generator is watching us.

Steve loves Valentineâs Day.
Itâs a holiday celebrating love and romance; the whole point is to shower someone with affection (and hopefully get laid at the end of the night). Whatâs not to like about that?
With girls, Valentineâs was easy. Big box of chocolates, a dozen red roses, dinner at a fancy restaurant (and maybe a little jewelry or something - depending on how much he likes her). A sweet card, for sure.
Now that heâs dating Eddie, Valentineâs Day presents more of a⌠challenge.Â
âUgh, what am I gonna do Rob? We walked through the greeting card aisle at Melvaldâs and he pretended to puke. He doesnât want flowers or chocolate or anything.â
He knows heâs whining. Heâs slumped dramatically in the single office chair in the Family Video breakroom, spinning slowly (like a pathetic little rotisserie chicken, according to Robin). Heâs probably got about five more minutes before Robin snaps.
âWhy do you have to do anything? You know Valentineâs Day isnât even a real holiday â itâs just an excuse to get people to spend money on crap they donât needâŚâ
âOh my god, stop! You sound just like Eddie. Valentine's isn't about spending money, it's about... showing people that you love them. Making them feel happy and appreciated and special. Itâs about celebrating love.â
Robin tilts her head and her face goes a little soft, the way it does when he says something she wasn't expecting (but in a good way, not like when he says something so dumb that her body collapses and she says he's obliterated her will to live).Â
"Thatâs actually surprisingly sweet Steve. OkayâŚ.â she sighs and looks up at the ceiling as she thinks. âMaybe... you could try making something? He liked those cookies you baked for movie night."Â
âThose cookies were terrible.â Practically inedible. Eddie was the only person that ate more than one. (Which was either a true declaration of love in and of itself, or proof that Eddie will eat literally anything when he's stoned.)Â
"I don't know, Eddie is pretty easy to please. You could give him like... a cool rock, and he would probably love it."Â
Steve sits upright so fast he nearly overturns the chair. "Robin, you're a genius!!"Â
She blinks at him. "Clearly. But also, why exactly?"Â
Eddie is like a crow. He's forever picking up little odds and ends - cool rocks, stickers, shiny bits of paper. At Christmas, he collected the bows off of everyone's presents. Sometimes, he incorporates the stuff he finds into little props and models for his D&D games, but other times he just keeps it. He's got a whole drawer devoted to his little 'hoard', as he calls it.Â
Steve explains all this to Robin, who just shakes her head in bemusement. "He is so weird," she says fondly.Â
"Yeah," Steve agrees. He would have recoiled from that oddity in high school - would have been worried what other people would think. Scared they would judge him for associating with someone like that.Â
He doesnât give a shit, these days. He sees the way Eddie lights up with happiness at the smallest things, so full of excitement and passion, and it just makes him smile. He feels grateful that he gets to bask in that reflected joy, like a flower soaking up the sun.
Valentines is two weeks away, which gives Steve plenty of time to collect a bounty of little treasures. He hits the pawn shop, the thrift store - he even drives out to the weird antique shop about an hour out of town, which looks like a normal house on the outside and is crammed to the rafters with knick-knacks and bric-a-brac when you walk inside.Â
He also trawls the quarry, the lake, and the woods behind his house. It's tough, because usually Eddie's little treasures just look like trash to Steve. He's not a very creative person himself, but he tries hard to see the world the way his boyfriend would.Â
If that means Steve finds himself debating for over half an hour on which rock is more appealing, well â it will all be worth it in the end.
âââ
Steve stays over at Eddie's, the night before Valentines. (At this point, he spends more time at the Munson's house than he does at his own.)Â
He wakes up early, slipping out of bed with slow, careful movements. As usual, Eddie rolls over with a faint grumble, bundling himself into a burrito of blankets to compensate for the void of warmth left by Steve's absence.Â
He moves down the hall, avoiding each creaky board like it's a booby trap in the Temple of Doom, until he reaches the kitchen - which is where Steve breaks routine. He sneaks out the back door and races across the driveway in his boxers, hopping and cursing as the frigid gravel stings his bare feet.Â
His carefully cultivated stash of gifts is in the glove compartment of the BMW. He already has a plan for which one will be first, so he grabs it and closes the door (slowly, slowly - the sound of Steve moving around the house is familiar, but a car door slamming in the driveway at this time of morning would wake Eddie for sure).Â
The first gift is a blue jay feather he found in the woods, perfect and clean with vivid blue and black stripes. He tucks it carefully under the edge of the ash tray that sits on the porch railing, before slipping back inside to start breakfast.
Thirty minutes later Eddie appears, drawn by the warm smell of coffee and the sound of bacon popping in the pan.Â
He drapes himself over Steve's back and murmurs, "G'mornin," sleepily into the shell of his ear, the way he does every morning after Steve spends the night. This time, Steve balances his spatula on the edge of the pan and turns so that he can wrap his arms around his boyfriendâs waist.Â
He presses a cheerful kiss to the corner of Eddie's mouth and says, "Happy Valentineâs Day."Â
Eddie groans dramatically and throws his head back, the rest of his bodyweight following. If Steve didn't have a firm grip around his waist, he would have toppled over backward; the move turns into an awkward backbend instead.Â
"Stevie please, it's too early for that crap. Wait until I've had my coffee at least."Â
Steve grins. He releases his hold just long enough for Eddie to yelp and scrabble for balance before catching him and pulling him close again.Â
"Jesus Christ," Eddie gasps.Â
"Careful," Steve says with a smug grin, laughing when Eddie shoves him in the chest and pulls away.
They eat breakfast together, and then Steve follows Eddie outside for his morning cigarette.Â
"Holy shit, look at this!" Eddie turns to Steve with the blue jay feather pinched between his fingers, grinning with delight. He hasn't brushed his hair yet and he's got a smear of bacon grease on his cheek, but he's so beautiful in that moment - so full of joy it shines out of him, like a lighthouse.
Just because he found a feather. Steve smiles back, helplessly besotted. "Pretty cool."Â
Eddie twirls the feather between his fingers before tucking it behind his ear. âThatâs a sign that today is gonna be a good day.â
Steve presses his mouth to the edge of his coffee cup to hide his expression. âYeah, I think so too.â
âââ
Eddie rolls into the Family Video parking lot around 2 in the afternoon to visit before his band practice. He strolls inside and leans against the counter, plonking a silver wrapped Hershey kiss down in front of Steve.Â
âKiss for a kiss?â he says, with a smarmy grin. Steve rolls his eyes, but he checks to make sure theyâre alone in the store before swooping forward for a quick peck on the lips.
âI got you something too,â he says.
âOh?â Eddie raises one eyebrow, managing to look both curious and skeptical. âPlease tell me itâs not a cheesy greeting card.â
Steve flips him the bird before reaching into his pocket. He pulls the keychain out and lets it dangle from one finger in front of Eddieâs face.
His boyfriendâs immediate reaction is to wrinkle his nose in disgust. The keychain is a garish red plastic heart, definitely the antithesis of Eddieâs usual metalhead vibe.
But itâs also sparkly.Â
Steveâs lips curl into a satisfied smirk as Eddie takes the keychain from him, reluctantly admiring the way light sparks off the flakes of holographic glitter embedded in the plastic. The cheap little thing shimmers like a ruby in the afternoon sun.
âSome kid dropped it. They never came back, so itâs yours if you want it.â (Thatâs technically true, although Steve has been holding on to it for nearly a month now, waiting for today.)
âOh, well then.â Eddie stuffs the keychain into his pocket. âFinders keepers, losers weepers!â He sticks his tongue out, eyes wide and exaggerated â then leans across the counter and licks Steveâs nose.
âGross!â Steve sputters with laughter. He scrubs at his face and looks up just in time to see Eddie wave jauntily on his way out the door, a second Hershey kiss left sitting on the counter in his wake.
âââ
After Steve's shift is over, he runs home for a quick shower and a change of clothes before meeting Eddie at the diner.Â
He did his best to talk his boyfriend into going on a proper date, but the most he could get Eddie to agree to was milkshakes and a movie (my choice Stevie, not some lame romance).
Steve walks into the diner and spots Eddie at the back booth. He saunters over and sets the third present onto the sticky Formica table with a click. It's a small golden gear, nearly paper-thin.Â
"Check it out. Found this in the parking lot."Â
(That's a lie. Steve carefully picked apart a broken old watch from the thrift shop in order to extract a handful of the little gears.)
"Hey, cool! I bet I could use this in the model I'm working on." Eddie pulls the pack of cigarettes out of his coat pocket and drops the gear inside for safe keeping.Â
"What's the model for?" Steve asks.
Eddie launches into an animated explanation of the character he's creating for a new Hellfire campaign - a sun-worshiping priest that intends to trick the party into becoming a ritual sacrifice.Â
"... and that gear thing would look pretty good on the top of his staff."Â
Steve doesn't understand much of what Eddie's saying, but he loves the way his boyfriend talks with his whole body, moving his hands and shoulders and head along with the words. He rests his chin in his hand and lets Eddie ramble until the milkshakes arrive, smiling like a dope the whole time.
Eddie has no concept of time, so Steve is in charge of making sure they finish their milkshakes and leave the diner in time to make it to the movie. As Eddie slides into the passenger seat of the BMW, he says, âHey â you think we have enough time to stop by the Circle K?â
Steve turns in his seat as he reverses out of the parking lot. "What do you need at the Circle K?"Â
"Snacks! You can't go to a movie without provisions Stevie! And don't say we can buy some at the concessions stand, because the prices they charge are ridiculous."
âWell if we stop now, weâll be late â but Iâve got some Milk Duds and trail mixâŚâ Steve doesnât realize whatâs happening until itâs too late. Eddie pops open the glove compartment in his search for snacks, revealing Steveâs little stash of gifts.Â
Eddie frowns in confusion. âWhat the hell?â He rifles through the pile as Steve groans.
âShit. You werenât supposed to see those yet.â
âWhat is all this?â Eddie picks up a ring, turning it over in his hands. It's a bulky silver biker ring, like the ones Eddie wears every day - only this one is shaped like a bat with tiny ruby eyes. Steve is particularly proud of that one, discovered in a box of assorted rings at the pawn shop.
Steve gnaws at his lip and runs a hand through his hair, ruining all his careful styling. "I know you hate Valentines, but I wanted to do something. Just⌠to show you how much I love you. So instead of the cards and flowers and stuff, I tried to find little things you might actually like. For your, you know⌠your 'dragon hoard' or whatever you call it."
"So the keychain and the gear..."
"And the feather."
Eddie's eyebrow twitches. He stares at the contents of the glove compartment; at the water smoothed stone from the lake and the multicolored twist of ribbon, the vivid green marble and the tiny mother of pearl locket. He looks down at the ring still clutched in his hand, and blinks rapidly.Â
Steve glances nervously between Eddie and the road, hands tight on the steering wheel. He's disappointed that the surprise has been ruined, but more concerned about Eddie's reaction. He'd expected the other boy to laugh or tease him, not this... whatever this is.Â
Finally, Eddie clears his throat roughly and speaks. "Actually, can we just head back to my place? I've got something I wanna show you, and I don't think I can wait through the movie."Â
âUh⌠sure.â
Steve's brain is buzzing as he takes a left instead of a right at the intersection. He's worked himself into a bit of a panic by the time they pull into the Munson's driveway. "Eddie, I..."Â
Eddie interrupts him, practically throwing himself across the center console as he drags Steve into a fierce kiss. By the time Eddie lets him go, Steve is panting. "Wha...?"Â
"Wait here," Eddie says with a wild grin. He presses Steve back into the seat for emphasis. "Don't move."Â
He takes the steps up the porch two at a time and fumbles with his key to get inside as Steve watches in a daze. He has no idea what's going on.Â
After a few minutes, Eddie returns to the door. He's pulled on a t-shirt with a faux tuxedo printed on the front, and he's standing straight backed in the doorway with a towel over his arm, like some kind of maĂŽtre dâ. He waves grandly toward Steve, beckoning him toward the house.Â
Steve snorts with laughter as he climbs out of the BMW. âWhat are you doing?âÂ
"This way sir," Eddie replies in a terrible attempt at a posh English accent. Steve shakes his head, thoroughly bewildered and increasingly amused.Â
He walks past Eddie through the doorway and freezes in surprise.
The living room has been transformed. Eddie set up the gaming table in the middle of the room â set with a crisp white tablecloth, the Munsonâs best dishes, and a vase full of red roses sitting in the center of the table, flanked by two candles. More candles twinkle softly from the coffee table, the end tables - even on top of the tv.Â
"Eddie..." Steve whispers in awe. "What is this?"Â
"Well, ah... I kind of jumped the gun a little. Itâs supposed to be a candlelight dinner. If we'd gone to the movie, Wayne would have had time to get all the food set up. But it wonât take long, I already cooked everything. Just gotta heat it up."
Steveâs vision goes watery, smearing the candlelight into one big blur as tears fill his eyes. He blinks hard to clear them. âI thought you hated all this stuff.â
Eddie shrugs and rubs the back of his neck nervously. âWell, yeah I do. But you love it. So I wanted to surprise you.â
Steve grips his boyfriend by the front of his ridiculous t-shirt and pulls him into a bone-cracking hug, before pulling back just far enough to kiss the breath from him.Â
In a pause between kisses, Steve rests his forehead against Eddieâs and laughs a little breathlessly. âWhat made you change your mind about the movie?â
Eddie bites his lips, already swollen from kisses. Steve canât tear his eyes away.
âI donât know. When I saw all that stuff you collected for meâŚâ he clears his throat, staring at Steve with wide dark eyes. âIâm⌠I know Iâm weird. Iâve known that my whole life. I never thought I would find anyone that would tolerate me, let alone⌠celebrate me like that.â
He kisses Steve again, sweet and soft. âI couldnât sit and wait for two hours after that. I had to get you home and show you how much I love you.â
âI love you too.â Steve smiles against Eddieâs mouth. âYou know⌠Iâm not really hungry yet.â
âOh yeah?â
Steve trails his hands down Eddieâs chest, hooking his fingers into the belt loops of his jeans and tugging. âMm-hmm. I think we need to work up an appetite first.â
Eddie laughs in delight. âSounds like a good idea. You know how much I like dessert before dinner.â
A happy Valentineâs Day indeed.

Christmas cheer
When a relationship not known by Chrisâ family is suddenly front and center when he insists on her coming to his family Christmas festivities. Just how insane can she expect it to be? And how bad will it effect her relationship?
ââââââââââââââââââ
âI just need my bathing suit and Iâll have all my clothes ready to be packed.â I tell him as I hold the laundry basket in my arms
He nods as he remains half out of it staring at me
âChris?â
âMmhm?â
âWhatâs on your mind?â
He sighs as he sits up saying âIâm not liking the idea of not being together on Christmas. The best holiday.â
I drop the laundry basket and walk over to him, I sit on the armrest of the chair as he pulls me towards him
His lips press to my shoulder as he says âThe Bahamas are so lame right now. Change your flight. Letâs go there for New Years. Boston is so beautiful right now.â
Sighing I say âMy whole family is there, and they would love to meet you. You know that. I talk about you all the time and my mom already loves you. Why donât you come with me? And then we can celebrate New Years with your family?â
Slowly he considers giving in as my eyes practically melt him and my lips press to his as I smile widely
The corners of his lips curve upwards in response to me and he groans saying âMy mom and sisters would kill me if I missed Christmas. My nieces and nephews are expecting me there.â
Nodding I sigh saying âSo basically we canât spend the holiday together. And weâre back to square one.â
He smiles to me and says âYeah. I guess so.â
But that look on his face for a split second was awfully mischievous and I know heâs up to something.
He pushes my hair out of my face and kisses my collarbones as we draw closer to each other
âItâs snowing in Boston. Have you ever been to Boston when itâs snowing?â
âNo. I havenât.â
âWinter is my second favorite season there. A white Christmas is my favorite. And my family goes all nine yards.â
âOh really? What do they do?â
He smiles and says âWell my whole big family pile into my childhood home and we spend the whole week together. My mom has us baking and cooking all week and we go see a Christmas play on Christmas Eve. And we have a Christmas Eve party after. And Christmas Day is the best, seeing my niece and nephews excitement over the gifts is the best. My mom makes us spiked hot chocolate and we have this massive dinner. Itâs literally heaven.â
The pause sits for awhile as I think on my family, my parents have my sisters and all their friends in the Bahamas with them currently
I paid for the vacation, called it an early Christmas gift.
But⌠Boston doesnât sound too bad
âIf.. I can change my flight, Iâm in.â
His eyes widen suddenly as he looks to me surprised saying âYouâre serious?â
I scoff saying âWas that not a real offer?â
âNo! No it was real. Iâll.. Iâll call my mom telling her youâre coming along.â
I nod and stare at the laundry across the room. I sigh saying âim not going to need that bathing suit am I?â
He laughs whole heartedly and I grumble saying âYou owe me time at the beach. I need ocean and sun time.â
âPromise. New Years with your family in the Bahamas. We can stay a week longer than your family. Just us.â
I sigh into him as I grow relaxed, nodding saying âThat sounds perfect. Just what I need after the shit-show movie I just wrapped.â
âHe was a terrible director.â
âHe made me pull my hair out. I need to strictly rely on Greta and Sofia for work. Theyâre the only tolerable directors Iâve worked with. Besides obviously the marvel projects.â
He nods saying âMaking everyone work on a holiday is crazy.â
âWell you saw how well that worked out for him.â
Chris laughs saying âI donât think Iâve ever seen a movie crew so happy that an actress went full diva for them.â
âThey all deserved to be with their families, regardless if they celebrated the holiday or not.â
âTrust me, I know they were thankful.â
I sigh saying âYeahâŚ. Now tell me what I need to pack for Boston.â
âYou need to start with at least 3-4 coats or jackets.â
I make a winced face and say âYouâre kidding.â
âThat doesnât include winter coats. Do you have a winterââ
He pauses as he looks to me as I produce a pinched expression and shrug saying âI donât own anything like that.â
âWeâve got a lot of work to do then.â
The flight was simple enough, I overpacked and had to check my bag. Chris didnât have to, he had a small enough bag for it to be a carry on
I realized how big of a mistake it was to check my bag the minute I started looking through the carousels for my suitcase
Only to my surprise it never came around. Chris felt terrible as the flight attendant informed me that my suitcase, along with half the passengers were left to fly out on the next plane
I blinked in response to her, feeling anger rise within me âwhat do you mean you left my suitcase?â
âIt will be delivered here in a few hours. We can ship it to the address youââ
âI just want my things! Why couldnât you fit my suitcase on the plane?â
âThere are certain rules and regulations we need to follow, the flight was sold out and we couldnât exceed a certain weightââ
âEverything I need is in my suitcase! Itâs 25 degrees out! I need my things!â
Chris wraps his arm around me attempting to calm me down saying âHoney⌠honey itâs alright. Weâll figure it out.â
I scoff saying âDonât give me that. You carried your suitcase on. You have everything you could possibly need. I have nothing. My scripts were in there. I needed to run those lines.â
He sighs and attempts to comfort me as he looks to the lady saying âHow soon will it be shipped?â
âThe second itâs in our custody. You should get it by tomorrow.â
âThatâs not so bad, youâll have all your things by tomorrow. In the meantime weâll figure something out.â
The Bahamas are sounding a lot better now
âYeah. Okay..â I say unconvinced and on edge
Chris had called his mom a day ago telling her he was bringing his girlfriend and she was surprised to find out so late in advance
Pretty frustrated this is one of the few times sheâd even heard about me.
But before I wasnât even his girlfriend, we were just going on a few dates. He thought it was easier to just say that to his mother instead
We were both so busy, there was no time to share with anyone else but each other
And we used every single minute we could find with the other
Heâd fly to me and leave in the morning. Or Iâd fly in at 9am and have to leave at 12am.
He knows he should have mentioned his girlfriend earlier, to not only his mother but probably his sisters and practically anyone else in his family
I ask as he drives our rental car towards the house âScottâs there already?â
Heâs the one person I really knew from his family, considering how often he visited
âYeah. He just got to the house this morning.â
I swallow hard saying âAnd your mom, Lisa knows Iâm coming to Christmas?â
âShe knows, relax y/n. Thereâs nothing to worry about. My mom will love you and weâll have a great time.â
âSo your older is Carly, and Shanna is your younger sister. Then thereâs your dad and heâs a dentist. And then thereâs miles andââ
âClearly youâve done your research.â
I sigh as I run my hands down my face saying âI wouldnât even need to. You love your family, you talk about them constantly. I canât believe this is the first time Iâve met them. I could probably recite their birthdays at this point⌠oh my god. Donât let me say that to them. Iâm losing my mind. Iâm so nervous, were you this nervous to meet my mom?â
He laughs as I scramble my sentences together quickly, talking way too fast
âYour mother gave me no warning, I met her in my boxers while I was getting the paper. I had no time to be nervous.â
I smile and look to him saying âShe thought you were handsome immediately.â
He shakes his head saying with a chuckle âNo, her first comment was asking why I was so pale.â
Laughing I shake my head saying âI canât believe she said that.â
âShe wasnât wrong.â
He livens up my mood just switching the topic, I feel better already. He squeezes my hand saying âJust donât overthink this and youâll do great. Promise.â
And thatâs when we turned down a street where I saw a suburban neighborhood, it was different than I was used to
There was an inflatable Santa on the large patch of grass in the front yard and lights thrown up onto the gutters, brightly colored
The driveway was full and it made me uneasy. Chris put the car in park and once he turned off the engine he looked to me âyou ready to go in?â
âThe gifts were in my suitcase, Chris. I have nothing for themââ
âYou have your bright smile. Thatâs enough, we can go shopping in the morning or wait for your suitcase. All that matters is the gifts under the tree by Christmas.â
A sigh releases my lips as I look to the sprawl of inflatables across the front yard that I hadnât noticed earlier
Some that are so clearly Boston suburbia that itâs odd to me
âOh. Thatâs Jim. Moms had that inflatable for decades. Itâs older than all the grandkids combined.â
âWhat is⌠it supposed to be?â
âIt used to be an 8foot tall snowman, one of the first to be released. But itâs face wore off so is kids drew a new one on with sharpie and⌠yeah that was the result.â
Scott slowly sneaks around the car, and slams his palms into the glass of my car door
I scream as I jerk my head towards him and heave heavy breaths as my screaming stops
Chris laughs loudly and boisterous as I nearly kick the door open. It hitting Scott as I climb out, pushing his shoulder as his laugher only annoys me
âYouâre an asshole!â
He and Chris just think my reaction is the funniest thing possible
âDid you hit your head when you jumped that high?â
He tumbles to the ground as he falls in the snow and practically cries with laughter
I huff in annoyance saying âWhy would you do that?â
âHe didnât tell you?â Scott struggles to say as he gasps for air as his laughter slows
I look to Scott saying âWe have a whole competition going, scaring each other. We do this basically every time everyoneâs home.â
Chris smiles as he says âShe has an out, itâs her first Christmas with us. She is free of the jump scares.â
âNo way! She needs to experience the evans family Christmas in every way.â
Chris gives Scott a look and I walk away saying âIâm freezing. Can we please go inside.â
Scott nods saying âthat sounds like a great idea.â
Chris nods as he lifts his suitcase through the snow and pulls his jacket off as he drapes it over my shoulders
I look to him thankfully as I tighten it around me. I slow to a stop as I wait for one of the two brothers to lead the way
Chris steps in front of me as he says âYou okay?â
âYeah. Just coldââ but Iâm cut off by Scott running towards us and throwing a snowball into the back of Chrisâ head
Scott laughs as I feel the corners of my smile turning upwards quickly as I laugh quietly as Chris huffs out a breath of annoyance
âoh⌠little brother you so shouldnât have started this.â
âChris.â I plead as his hand digs into the snow
âJust let me reach this little punk a lesson.â
And theyâre already at it with each other. I stand there as Chris creates a snow ball throwing it towards his brother as Scott ducks out of the shot
My sisters and I were never like this. They were 12-15 years older than me. By the time I was 5-6 years old they were out of the house or in college. I was basically an only child with occasional visits from my sisters
But Bree moved to England for a job and Elise lives across the US. Hawaii, with her husband. Her husband is stationed in the navy thereďżź
I wince as both Scott and Chris tumble roughly into the snow but I smile because itâs hilarious
âThey do this often.â
My shoulders jump at the voice, I thought I was alone out here
I look to the woman and say âAnd Iâm sure itâs entertaining every time.â My smile shines towards her and she breathes out a laugh saying âYeah. Most of the time. Iâm Shanna. You must be y/n, his girlfriend. Right?â
Nodding I say âyes, that is me. Iâm sorry to intrude on your Christmas, he insisted I have a Boston Christmas.â
âYou donât have family around here?â
I pause and say âTheyâre in the Bahamas for Christmas.â
âAnd you picked this over that?â She laughs as I shake my head saying âI couldnât leave him. We try to spend any second we can together. Iâm sorry, are you Carly or Shanna? Chris talks about his sisters so much but I canât place your name.â
She smiles saying âShanna. His younger sister.â
âOh okay. Thank you.
She nods saying âHowâd the two of you meet?â
âWork. Of course. Thereâs not really anywhere else I couldâve meet someone.â
âYouâre an actor too?â
I nod and say âYeah.â
âAre you cold? We could go in while they sort this whole thing out?â
I look towards Chris as he has Scott pinned down with knee pressed against his back.
Scottâs face doesnât leave the patch of snow as Chris tells him to tap out
I look to their sister saying âIs this normal?â
Shanna smiles saying âYes. When theyâre around each other they get like this. Theyâre brothers thatâs for sure haha.â
I bite at my lip saying âI really am freezing. We could go in.. Iâm just anxious.â
âWhy donât you head in while I get these idiots into the house?â
She steps away before I can argue the offer
I swallow hard and walk towards the house, I so donât want to go in alone
Scott is pulled up from the snow and pushes his brother as he looks to me as Chris brushes off the snow on his clothes
âBabe, you can head in. You look like youâre about to freeze.â
I nod to Chris and ask âJust walk in?â
âMy ma doesnât care, she has everyone just walk right in.â
I stare at the door as I push it open and enter the house. Shutting it behind me to keep all the warmth in the house
Iâm first hit with voices and I slow to a stop as I attempt not to intrude
But then I quickly realize theyâre talking about me
âNo, this is really the first time heâs ever brought her up. He told me all about her a day ago and that she was coming for Christmas.â
âShanna is laying into her for answers and to find out what kind of person she is. God I hope sheâs not some arrogant brat.â
My eyes widen suddenly as my arms drop to my sides quickly
âGod knows Chris has poor taste in women. Should be interesting to meet her. From what heâs told me sheâs a bit high maintenance.â
My eyebrows shoot up at that and I huff in annoyance
âI can only hope she isnât some privileged obnoxious child. Chris didnât give me much, only that they didnât want to be apart. It sounds like theyâre pretty serious.â
âHow close could they be if he kept her hidden from us? Sheâs got to be the reason he skipped literally everything for thanksgiving but the dinner. He literally rolled in here at 3 and left by 8.â
The pause in conversation leaves me frozen in the entry way as I feel like I just stepped into something I shouldnât hear
âYou think heâs fallen for a girl who will keep him from us for holidays? Thatâs often what happens when a son marries someone.â
âYou think theyâre getting married?! He hardly knows the girl. God bless her but Chris could never commit to something like that. You know the cycle, give it a few more months and theyâll have moved on.â
âHe said she can be difficult, especially under pressure. Like I said super high maintenance.â
âProbably means controlling.â
Excuse me?
âIf this girl is wrong for him Iâll have a conversation with him. Heâs my son, heâll listen to me. Sheâll be just another ex girlfriend if we donât like herââ
I can feel the lump in my throat growing as I reach for the door handle but it opens and I take a step back as Chris steps in
He looks to me confused as I remain hovering by the door like I wanted to bolt, his arms find their way around my sides saying âyou alright?â
My shoulders tighten and wind up as my whole body tightens up, I shrug in response as I slip from his grasp
Scott shouts âMa! Chris and y/n are here!â
Chris huffs in response to his brother
The group of people file towards us as my hands pull at the zipper sides of Chrisâ jacket thatâs tightly wrapped around my body
Tightening it around me
âChris!â
He bounds for his mother, and you could tell how much he loves him mom. Thatâs a strong hug around her. Clearly he missed her
Maybe she was right, I didnât think I was keeping him from his family
Suddenly I feel super out of place as their whole family hugs and speaks to each other
Slowly I slip into the background of the family as my back presses to the door, everything growing overwhelming
âMy sweet boy. Iâm so happy youâre here.â
Controlling.
That word wanders around my head as I feel the weight of it
High maintenance
How could she have all these opinions of me before even meeting me?
Scott pulls away from his older sister saying ây/n, meet my sister Carly⌠y/n?â He looks behind him not finding me
Iâm practically melting through the door as Chris suddenly pulls away from the conversation him and his mother are having
âhoney?â
The people in front of me, serving as I wall suddenly break into two groups and the whole Evans family turns towards me
Chris looks to me with a widening smile and walks forward, grabbing my hand and saying âEveryone, this is my girlfriend y/n. Iâll introduce you to each person in a minute. Firstly, this is my ma.â
The woman looks to me and I feel the nauseous feeling grow as I stare at her nervously
She takes a step towards me as Chrisâ warm hand leaves my back
She smiles and says âIâm Lisa. Itâs so great to meet you.â
My grin slips as she pulls me into a hug and I grow frustrated as she says âChris just adores you.â
I swear thereâs sarcasm coming off her words
âLove, mom. I love her.â Chris confirms as his smile falls from his lips and Iâm released. Iâm basically introduced around and the minute Iâm free from introductions I find Scott
Heâs with Carly but I grab his wrist tightly and give him the crazy eyes. He excused himself from his sister as I pull him out front
âI have to get out of here.â
âWhat? What are you talking about?â
My hands pull down my face as I frown and say âYour mother doesnât know I heard what she and Carly were saying in the kitchen.â
âWhat weâre they saying in the kitchen?â He leans forward, practically begging for the information
âAm I controlling?â
âWhat? Why would youâŚ. Oh.â He pauses as he looks inside the glass panels for a second saying âshe doesnât know you. Donât take what she said to heart. She probably read a bad article about you.â
I shake my head as I sit down on the front steps and he follows shortly after âThey lost my suitcase. I have nothing. Iâm feeling insecure enough already. And I know Chris is loving every minute of this but Iâm just⌠overwhelmed and annoyed.â
Scott nods as he rubs my shoulder, and I continue saying âHe never told his mom or anyone about me. They donât know me. Would he have ever told them about me? He basically worships your mom. But Iâm not important enough to be a topic?â
âIâm sure he has good reason, bee.â
I huff in response and cover my face saying âThis is going to be a long week. You have to promise me you wonât leave my side. If Chris isnât glued to my side you have to be. Please.â
His eyes widen and he says âThatâs a big job.â
I narrow my eyes to him saying âScott.â
He smiles lightly saying âFine deal.â
âThis is going to be a long week.â We both say in sync
âââââââââââ

Propaganda
Barbara Stanwyck (Ball of Fire, The Lady Eve, Double Indemnity)âI hope someone else has submitted better propaganda than I because I don't want my girl's prospects to rest on me just yelling PLEASE VOTE FOR MY TERRIBLE HOT GIRLFRIEND. She is a delight in everything! She is often a sexy jerk! (It's most of the plot of Baby Face!) Even when she plays a "good girl" (as an example, Christmas in Connecticut, which more people should see) she's still kind of a jerk and I love her for it! She won't take men's shit and she sure wouldn't take mine!
Mae Clarke (The Public Enemy, Frankenstein)âshe was in frankenstein. which i think is neat
This is round 1 of the tournament. All other polls in this bracket can be found here. Please reblog with further support of your beloved hot sexy vintage woman.
[additional propaganda submitted under the cut.]
Mae Clarke propaganda:
Barbara Stanwyck propaganda:
"THE queen of screwball comedies. I adore her, I'd kill for her, I will cry if she's not gonna win this poll."
"listen ok she had awful politics she was a mccarthyist right wing wacko BUT she's so incredibly hot that i've deluded myself into believing i could fix her. if you see her onscreen she carries herself in a way that's just so effortlessly sexy AND she has just a stunning face. imo she was at her hottest in the 1940s but even as early as the late 1920s she had a rly captivating screen presence and just a beautiful face, and then post-1950 she was just irresistibly milfy so really she was just always incredibly hot. she was also an incredibly talented actress who was equally stellar in melodrama, film noir, and unhinged screwball comedy. the blonde wig they made her wear in double indemnity is notoriously silly looking but she still looks sexy in it so that's gotta count for something. i've watched so many terrible movies just for a chance at seeing her that i think her estate should be paying me damages."
"Not often thought of for her sultriness, Barbara Stanwyck was incredible in that she could actually choose to be hot if the role called for it, and then have a glow-down to look ordinary for another role. She wasn't the most beautiful or effervescent, but damn did she have rizz. Watch her with Gary Cooper in Ball of Fire teaching him about "yum-yum" or with Henry Fonda in The Lady Eve whispering huskily into his ear."
youtube
"THE leading lady of the golden age of hollywood. One of the only actresses to work independent of a studio, making short-term contracts that enabled her to make movies wherever she wanted. She had so much range, and could act in basically any genre. She's been rumored to be a lesbian literally since she was active in Hollywood; most notable is the rumor that she had a long time on-and-off relationship with famously bi Joan Crawford, her "best friend" for decades (They lived right next door to one another). She also lived with Helen Ferguson, her "live-in publicist" for many years. She was the quintessential femme fatale in Double Indemnity, and really pushed sexual boundaries in her pre-code films like Baby Face, and the famous screwball The Lady Eve, where she plays basically a downlow domme. Allegedly, when a journalist asked her if she was a lesbian, she straight up threw him out of her house. She even played a lesbian in Walk on the Wild Side"
"She is always the smartest woman in the room. Watching her play Henry Fonda like a befuddled fiddle in The Lady Eve was a highlight of my life. Femme fatale in Double Indemnity, comedy queen in Ball of Fire. She can do anything."
"She was part of my gay awakening"
"SHE'S A PRE-CODE QUEEN. She did everything, drama, comedy. The most beautiful woman in the world to watch weep. Beg for to step on you with those legs. Fun Babs story: Ginger Rogers was offered the role in Ball of Fire but said, âOh, I would never play that part, sheâs too common.â So they called Barbara Stanwyck and they said âWe offered this to Ginger Rogers but sheâs turned it down, would you be interested?â And she read the script and she said; âYou bet! I LOVE playing common broads.â (Source: https://misstanwyck.tumblr.com/post/72996544180/barbara-stanwyck-photographed-for-ball-of-fire)"

Full House lll - Eddie Munson
Authors Note: Omg. Me? Staying on schedule? Never.
Word Count: 10112
Warnings: None? Idk.
Part One HERE and Part Two HERE
(Thank you for the gif @psychecreations )
Enjoy!
âWhenâs the first doctors appointment?â Nancy asks, walking up to where you were currently standing at your jobs wait station. You jump, dropping the order pad you had been scribbling in as you turn to find her leaning on the wall.Â
âWhat? Why are you here?âÂ
âI was craving chicken and didnât want to hear Steves kfc imitation. So we decided to come here.â She smiles, rubbing her stomach ever so slightly. âPlus it meant I got to check on you.âÂ
âOh Iâm fine.â You lie, forcing a smile on your face as she narrows her eyes.Â
Itâs been 4 days since the Christmas fiasco, and 4 days since you realized Eddie was leaving. You tried to pick yourself back up the day of Christmas but ended up telling everyone that you were really sick and should shut the party down early. They had all gone to Steves and you were truly embarrassed to think of what they might have been saying about you.Â
God, did you have to ruin everything you touched?Â
âYou never answered my question.âÂ
âOh? I was just sick. Itâs not a serious bug or anything. I just didnât want to get you guys sick on Christmas. That would have been badâ you lie again, feeling a coiling feeling in your gut. âWhy donât you go sit?âÂ
âY/n, girl I love you. But youâre showing.âÂ
âAm not.âÂ
âAre too. Especially in this waitressing uniform.â It was true. Normally the old school 70s uniform fit you like a glove, falling just to your thighs and it made tips so much easier. Right now? It was on the tighter sideâŚâŚ which made tips even easier because your boobs looked great but you felt terrible about everything.Â
âDoes he know?â Nancy asks, and you have to stop yourself from telling her or shove off. After a moment of silence she seems to take that for an answer. âY/nâŚ.. Eddie needs to know.âÂ
âWhy? So I can trap someone else?â You laugh bitterly. âThat poor guy has already put up with enough of my shit. Now if youâll excuse me I have to go grab tables.âÂ
You walk past her, not giving her a chance to argue as you completely avoid looking to their tables direction and move to your own section of the floor to greet a new table.Â
Pam, one of your favorite regulars, sees you and greets you with a smile. âYou never work Friday nights!âÂ
You always spent Friday nights with Eddie and the girls for movie night. But Eddie ran and you needed to make rent so tonight Max was watching them.Â
âStarting now I will be. You want your usual babe?âÂ
âYou know it!.â She giggles.Â
-
Steve tried saying bye before they left and you pretended you didnât see him as you took orders, by the end of the night your feet were killing you and you all but limped inside to where Max was sitting at the table doing college homework with her headphones on.Â
Either she didnât have them loud or she was on edge, your guess being a bit of both, she knows you're there and turns to you when you enter the kitchen.Â
âThank you so much Max.â You mumble, pulling out the tip money you had set aside for her. âIâm sorry I ran late.âÂ
âNo need to pay.â She smiles, pushing the money away. âI like spending time with them.âÂ
That tight feeling in your stomach is back, digging in as you stare at the redhead. She had been part of the reason you chose Hawkins, Billy had (in one of his rare good moments) described the way Max seemed to blend in and find a home here. He told you about the friends she made and how she managed to grow into a brave person and you wanted that for your own. So, assuming she was gone, you moved out here. Little did you know you find her soon enough along with an entire group of people connected to your ex.Â
You had always been told max was dead.Â
Max had always been told Billy was dead.Â
You didnât know how she figured you out until Eddie told you about VECNA and Lucas told you about his girlfriends sight for things.Â
âIâŚ. I saw the tickets.â She admits, blush traveling her cheeks as you move to make a cup of tea. The cupboard was still broken and you couldnât bear to look at it.Â
âWhat tickets?âÂ
âYou left your folder out on the table. I saw that you were figuring out where to go.â Max admits and you canât help but tense.Â
âI justâŚ.. I donât want the girls being surrounded byâŚ..âÂ
âBilly?âÂ
âYesâŚ..â you admit, still keeping your back to her as you boil water. âAnd Eddie. I just donât want them knowing that he left them. They adore him too much.âÂ
Coward. Coward. COWARD.Â
âIâm not a mom, but I can get your urge to protect them.â Max mumbles. âBut what if they end up hating you for taking them away.âÂ
âThen they have someone to blame. Iâd rather them blame me than themselves. It is my fault anyways.â You admit, tears springing into your eyes. âAnyways. Take the money, go have fun.âÂ
âDo you need me again this week? I saw that you work on New Yearâs Eve.âÂ
âNo. You should be going out with your friends.âÂ
âThe boys have a start of the year campaign and El is taking a trip with Hopper. Iâm free.â She laughs, trying to break the tension built up. âIâll be here at 2.âÂ
You canât get the words thank you out because of how tight your throat is, so you just mouth them as she grabs the money and passes.Â
-
Steve could not stop laughing when he saw Eddieâs face the day he brought the car into the shop, leaning over on his knees to catch his breath as he wheezed out.Â
Dylan, the other mechanic, kept looking over to watch the scene unfold as Eddie tried to focus on his friends car.Â
âHarrington.âÂ
âDude I know- itâs just that your face is so purp-hahaha.â Another fit of laughter and Eddie is debating throwing his drill at him. He was in no shape to be dealing with him today.Â
Truth was Eddie had barely gotten a wink of sleep, he couldnât manage to. Not used to not having you beside him, or not having the girls night light and soft lullabies. It had been 5 days since he saw you and he was beginning to lose his mind and resolve.Â
Almost every night he nearly talked himself into going back, then he remembered Motleys broken cries as they carted him off and the way she clung to your hip. The way she screamed for her dad as Eddie attacked him.Â
Monster monster monster.Â
âGotta give it to Hargrove. He knows how to punch.âÂ
âYeah well, hope he had his fun.â Eddie snaps, leaning back to make sure he adjusted the part correctly.Â
âDid you get him back?âÂ
âI got a few licks in.â Eddie mumbles, feeling guilty about the pride that washes over him as he remembers the way he beat Billy's face in. That was motleys dad. As much as he enjoyed hitting him he probably just scarred the Metalhead for life.Â
âOh a few licks.â Steve scoffs, moving to take a seat on the stool at Eddieâs workstation. âI know how strong you are Munson. You got more than a few licks in.âÂ
âI shouldnât have.âÂ
âWhy the hell not?âÂ
âBecause Motley was right there! Sheâs gonna hate me forever.â Eddie scoffs.Â
âOh you mean more than they already do?â This pulls Eddieâs attention, he had been doing so good about not asking but he was dying to know. What had they said? Were they happy heâs gone? Mad that he fought Billy?Â
âWhatâd they say?âÂ
âNot much of anything. Nancy knows something is up but your girl is keeping her lips sealed pretty well. I didnât even know about your fight with jackass until I saw your face.âÂ
âBut you said they were mad.âÂ
âYeah man, you missed Christmas and just dipped. Leaves a bad impression.âÂ
âOh whatever. They are better off, I just ruin everything.âÂ
âOh. My. God.â Steve gasps, looking at Eddie like heâs figured everything out. âYouâre self sabotaging!âÂ
âWhat?!â
âYeah! You think youâre the bad guy and so youâre trying to run away which is just making you even more of a bad guy which means my wife can stop threatening to shave your head.âÂ
âIâŚ.. no man you donât get it.âÂ
âI do get it. I get it more than anyone else and let me be the first to tell you that youâre being a massive idiot.â He sighs, standing up. âMotley was waiting by that window to spot you that entire day.âÂ
âSâŚâŚshe was?âÂ
âYeah Munson. She was.âÂ
âI justâŚ.. I donât want to be the one holding them back. I donât want her to hate me.âÂ
âDid you ever think that maybe Motley chose you? Like you chose Wayne?â Steve asks, watching Eddie deflate before his eyes before turning to the car. âIâm not paying by the way. Consider my advice enough.âÂ
âAss.âÂ
-Â
Eddie spends the day of New Yearâs Eve by the phone, fighting the urge to call.Â
What would he say? How would he explain?Â
No. Donât call. This is for the better.Â
Yes. Call. Just pick the phone just for the chance to hear your voice.Â
God damn when did life get so complicated?
âWhat are you doing?â Wayne asks, watching eddie from his spot on the couch. âQuit wearing down my carpet.âÂ
The carpet has been worn down since Eddie had moved in, but he chooses not to comment instead he sits by the phone, keeping his pinky on the handle of the plastic and glaring at it.Â
âYou expecting a call?âÂ
âNo.â Eddie groans, rubbing his chest to try and relieve some of the pain built up. God he missed you guys. âFuck. Iâm gonna go smoke.âÂ
He rushes to the back porch before Wayne could argue, hearing the old man laugh as he slams the door.Â
There is a dog out there when he exits, chewing on a stick found from the trees and sitting right by the fence. Upon looking a little closer he sees that the dog actually seems caught under the fence, like he was trying to sneak in.Â
âJesus.â He murmurs, keeping the joint between his lips as he walks up, socked feet stepping on sticks and stones making him grunt out and try walking on his tippy toes.Â
He looks back with a smile, expecting a giggle from one of the girls at his weird walk before he realizes heâs alone. Shit.Â
The dog is panting patiently when Eddie comes up, and the man reaches a hand to let him sniff before moving to help. The dog chooses to kiss at his arm, tongue lapping at the skin as Eddie lifts the fence to try and help free him.Â
âWhy you sneaking in pal?â He grunts, bending the fence. âYou hungry?âÂ
Within moments the dog is out, jumping up and kissing at his face for being rescued. âGod. Motley would love you.âÂ
-
âShhhhh Ziggy.â Motley whispers to her baby sister, pulling her closer to the corner. The way daddy eddie set up her room was perfect.Â
He had put her bed in the center which left a small corner by her nightstand hidden from the door.Â
Over the past week she had looked for Daddy Eddieâs number, finding it sprawled under the label emergency numbers where he had written it under Wayne.Â
It was so weird that Daddy Eddie called his dad Uncle Wayne. Adults were so confusing.Â
Before you had left for your shift that night you made sure to wish Motley a happy new year and made her promise to behave. Little did you know that she had crossed her fingers behind her back.Â
The second you were gone she dashed to grab the closest phone, pulling it into her room and hiding it as Max struggled to cook nuggets for dinner.Â
Later that night when Auntie Max was reading on the couch Motley tiptoed to Ziggys room before sneaking her sister out of her crib and tip toeing back as Ziggy giggles happily.Â
âSissyâŚâ She giggles, pulling at Motleys cheeks happily. âZigsy.âÂ
âNo your Ziggy silly. Iâm motley.â She corrects as she shuffles with her sister in an awkward half hold half walk carry until they are in the corner. âOkay Ziggy. Sissy needs your help. You remember the plan?âÂ
âZigzy!âÂ
âOh boyâŚ..â
-
The phone rings late, and Eddie sits up in the couch to lean his upper body to answer it, stressed and annoyed.Â
The stray dog lifts their head, huffing at being woken up and tilting to hear, one ear shooting up. âEasy Zeppelin.âÂ
The dog barks, and Eddie likes to think he enjoyed the name as he picks the phone up. âMunson residence.âÂ
God it felt weird saying that again.
âDADDY!â Motley whispers, sounding scared. Eddie is instantly up, standing on his feet and swiping at his face to wake up a little more.Â
âMotley? Whatâs wrong baby?â
âSomeoneâs trying to get in daddy.âÂ
âGet in where? Where are you?â Heâs already reaching for his keys, heart beating through his ears as his hands shake.Â
âWeâre at home.â She whines.Â
âWhereâs mommy?âÂ
âAt work!â Fuck. âOkay. Okay. Just hide. Just like daddy told you, remember? If anything happens, hide. You know where Ziggy is?âÂ
âSheâs with me.âÂ
âGood girl. Get under your bed or in your closet. Iâll be right there.â He mumbles, calling out to Wayne to grab the phone before booking it out of the trailer.Â
He gives no time for the van to warm up, tearing out of the trailer park so quickly heâs sure he hit someoneâs patio chair, mumbling under his breath a panicked âfuckfuckfuckâÂ
-
The van is uneven as Eddie pulls in quickly, shifting gears to park so hard it makes a grinding sound before he is swinging the door open and tearing out. His feet hit the gravel before the grass as he rushes to the front door, using his shoulder to shove it open harshly.Â
A scream tears out in to the air at his entrance before a book is thrown at him which makes him yell out at whoever is in the house.Â
âEDDIE?!âÂ
âMAXINE?!â He snaps, blinking at her. âWhat the fuck you doing?âÂ
âWhat am I doing?! What are you doing?! You physco!â
âMotley said that someone was trying to break in!âÂ
âI put Motley to bed an hour ago.â Max grunts, confusion lacing her features.Â
âYouâre babysitting?âÂ
âObviously.âÂ
âBut her car is in the front.â Eddie felt like he was going crazy. âAnd since when does she work nights?!âÂ
âHer car wouldnât start so she took the bus today.â Max sighs, rolling her eyes. âAnd she needs extra cash. Probably for the plane tickets to get out of here.â
âTickets out ofâŚ.â Before Eddie can process her words any further there is a small pair of eyes looking around the corner drawing his attention.Â
Ziggy moves quickly, coming around the corner with a very excited giggle, walking to him as fast as her little feet would allow. âDa-Ed-ay!â
âHey there baby girl.â He smiles, picking her up and swooping her into his arms to kiss all over her face. It was odd, just how much he missed this and it seemed like she had gotten so much bigger in the 4 days he missed.Â
âI swear to god I put her to bed. How did she get out of her crib?!â Max glares, right as the culprit behind it all comes rushing out to run at Eddie.Â
âI knew youâd come! I knew it daddy!â She giggles, running at him and throwing her arms around him tightly. âYou came back!âÂ
âMotley?â He starts, brain beginning to process what she was saying. âDid youâŚ. Lie to get me here?âÂ
âI did!â She smiles, peering up at him with big doe eyes. âI lied daddy! And now youâre here and you can take all my Barbieâs!âÂ
âIf you know lying is bad and youâll get punished, why did you do it?â He asks, pulling her off before squatting to her level. âMetal head, that was very dangerous-âÂ
A gust of air leaves him as her arms wrap around his neck tightly, tears springing from her eyes. âI donât want you to be mad at me anymore.âÂ
âMotley Iâm not mad, that was just dangerous and it scare-âÂ
âNo! About Billy. Iâm sorry daddy.â His heart plummets, his brain racking to figure out what she was talking about. Why was she sorry?Â
âNo. No Iâm sorry.â He sighs, turning to see Max staring at them intently. âHey max. Think you can take Ziggy for a moment?âÂ
âSure thing mop head.â The redhead scoops Ziggy up causing the young toddler to scream and kick, reaching chubby fingers out for Eddie. As much as he wanted to take her back he had to focus on Motley.Â
âCome sit.â He nods his head, leading her to the kitchen table sitting in the chair beside hers and angling it so they were facing. âListenâŚ.. Daddy ha- Well I have been feeling really bad about Christmas Eve. I never meant to do that, or to attack your dad in front of you.âÂ
âBut-âÂ
âI owe you a big apology for that Motley. And I donât know what youâre feeling sorry about, pretty girl, but itâs not your fault and you have no reason to be sorry.â He murmurs, swiping the tears that fall from her cheek. âYou have done nothing wrong.âÂ
âI told Billy he couldnât come for Christmas Daddy!â She blurts, her tears hit against his thumb as he keeps swiping her cheek. âIâm sorry!âÂ
âNo no no. You donât be sorry.â He moves to pick her up, sitting her on his lap with her face pressed into his chest as he rubs his palm over her hair to try and soothe her. âLetâs just take a deep breath, okay? Then you can tell me what happened.âÂ
Thereâs something coiling in his gut at her tears. Pain, anger, sadness. He truly could not tell, but he kept her close and rocked her back and forth to let her cry. When she finally calmed down enough to talk she started telling him.Â
âHe was really mean daddy. And he kept t-telling me that y-you weâre gonna replace me-â her body racks with sobs again. âHe said you didnât want me. A-and I was upset! But he w-was mean to you-âÂ
âEasy.â He whispers, wiping her cheek once more. âYou gotta breathe pretty girl.âÂ
âHe was m-mean. Said mean things about you daddy and mean things ab- Iâm sorry! I-â her sobbing gets worse and Eddie shushes her, choosing to rock her back and forth and keep her in his tight embrace. âAnd you w-were ma-you were madatme.âÂ
âNo no. I was never mad.â He sighs. âDaddy was never mad at you.âÂ
âYou were.âÂ
âNo, I was just scared. IâŚ. Daddy didnât want you hating him.â Eddie explains. âI just wanted to give you space. Having 2 dads is confusing. I didnât want to make it worse.âÂ
âHe hit you.âÂ
âDid he ever hit you motley?â Eddie asks sternly, squeezing her a bit in comfort.Â
âHe spanked me.â That feeling in his stomach settled on rage.Â
âThatâs not fair. And you shouldnât have had to go through that.âÂ
âPlease donât leave again.â As much as he wanted to promise her that he wouldn't, that wasnât a promise he could make. You probably hated him, and he would have to talk this out with you first.Â
âLetâs get you to bed yeah? Daddy will tuck you in.âÂ
âI want mama.âÂ
âWell sheâs at work.â He mumbles against her hair.Â
âCan we go get milkshakes?âÂ
âI donât knowâŚ..â it was almost 10. Then again it was New Yearâs Eve and he didnât want you taking the bus home so this would give him an excuse to go pick you up. âOnly if they have chocolate.âÂ
âYou already know they have chocolate!â She giggles, and he canât stop the way his heart seems to light up.Â
-
It was a busy night, and the smell of the jalapeno nachos all your tables were ordering was making you nauseated and angry. You wanted to throw up, maybe cry, maybe throw up then cry.Â
Apparently a town next to Hawkins lost power so a bunch of people were driving to this place to have a good new years which meant you were going to be stuck here forever. You found yourself stressing about the busâ schedule as you dashed to run food.Â
This is what you had been doing when you spotted him. Running a tray of jalapeĂąo nachos to your table, keeping it a safe distance from your nose as you thought about the fact that you might have to walk, and there he was.Â
Standing in the doorway, leather jacket and wide eyes, as you caught him looking for you. And he was holding Ziggy.Â
What the fuck Maxine?!Â
âY/n get a move on!â Your manager calls and you snap out of it, moving to deliver the tray as the host seats Eddie.Â
You hear Motley call out âmommy!â And instantly knew that they would now be sat in your section. Did it make you a bad mother if you admitted you would rather die than face him tonight?Â
âMama!â Your daughter calls, making you look over as she slides in, Eddie sitting right next to her and then you are forced to confront this. You should have learned about birth control. Better yet maybe you should have practiced the art of condoms more. Â
Thinking of all the ways you could have prevented this situation as you gaze at your daughters adorable smiling face. God she was beautifulâŚ.. still should have used a condom.Â
âWhat a surprise. I could have sworn I left you guys with Max.â You try to smile, avoiding looking at Eddie as Ziggy reaches for you. You grab her gently, bouncing her on your hip and she starts playing with your hair clip.Â
âI got daddy!â Motley admits proudly, pointing to Eddie which makes you look at him. Your heart thumping against your chest, adrenaline rushing through you as he stares at you with those god damn brown eyes.Â
âMunson.â You greet, turning back to Motley. âGirls, stay in the booth for a moment. Okay? Iâm gonna talk to him outside.âÂ
You walk off after that, leaving Eddie no choice but to follow as he jumps up and runs to catch up. The winter hair hits you, and you immediately wrap your arms around yourself to keep some of the warmth, the crappy waitress outfit doing nothing for you.Â
The second you hear your name fall from his lips you whirl, slapping him in the chest to push him back. âWhat the fuck is the matter with you munson?!âÂ
âIâŚ. Give me a moment to explain, please.âÂ
âExplain?! EXPLAIN?!â A bitter laugh splits from your lips. âLook. I get it. My life was a bit too messy and fucked up, Iâd run too. But you bringing the girls here is just making it worse. Youâre going to get their hopes and itâs gonna crush them.âÂ
âToo messy? Who said anything about it being too messy?âÂ
âWHY ELSE WOULD YOU RUN?!â Your voice raises louder than you thought it would, but you donât back down. âAnd I donât appreciate you talking to my daughters without me. Now I gotta tell them-âÂ
The words âmy daughtersâ sound wrong, and you canât fight the disgust that coats you as you trail off, eyes widening as he stares back at you with a set jaw. âI just meanâŚ.. I get why you left okay? My life is chaos and you were really nice for staying and pretending like it was fine. But those girlsâŚ. They canât know you left cause of that. I was hoping, as shitty as it sounds, that after a couple years theyâd forget. Yâknow?âÂ
You are swiping at your cheeks as tears stream down your face, trying not to look at him. You catch him moving up, his hands outstretched, but you move backwards so he canât grab you. âEds. Y-you should just go. Okay? Itâll be fine.âÂ
âNo it wonât-âÂ
âIt will. Iâll be fine. I wonât be mad-â then his arms are around you, pulling you in quickly as he shoves your head into his chest and you get to inhale his scent once more. Doing your best not to outright sob.Â
âI was the mess.â He blurts. âI was scared, okay? I was scared that Billy was gonna turn everyone against me, and I was scared that I ruined Motleys Christmas.âÂ
You scoff, trying to pull away, not really believing the excuse. Before you can fully move he wraps an arm around your waist, his other hand moving to your jaw to drag your eyes up to his own. âI was scared. I was a coward.âÂ
âBut-âÂ
âNo buts. I didnât leave cause I thought you were a mess, baby I think youâre perfect and your daughters are so fucking precious to me. IâŚ. You really thought I was running cause I couldnât handle it?âÂ
âI just-âÂ
âY/n!â Your boss calls from the door, looking exasperated. âYou gettin sick again? Need to go? Or you wanna get paid so you can afford maternity leave?âÂ
You tense again under Eddieâs touch, stomach curling as you try and take a step back while Eddieâs brows knit in confusion before he turns to glare at your boss. âSheâs sick.âÂ
âFine. Take her home. Just have to transfer tables.â The man snaps, turning to walk back in before Eddie is whirling on you.Â
âAm I crazy or did he just say maternity leave?âÂ
âEddieâŚ.â You sigh, feeling saliva build up as you panic. He watches you, taking a step back just as you lean forward to puke.Â
-Â
The car ride is silent. Not the serene kind of quiet and more so the anxiety inducing type.Â
You had no clue what to say to him at this point. Suddenly everything just seemed toâŚ.. silly. Youâre reaction and his reaction. You should have just called. Why hadnât you called?Â
No, he should have called.Â
You were being a decent person and giving him space and âmama?âÂ
âYeah?âÂ
âCan I sleep with you and daddy tonight?âÂ
âYa!â Ziggy yells, making Eddie chuckle under his breath as he leans to turn the heater in the car up. It had been forever since you had ridden in this van, since he deemed it unacceptable to drive the girls around in since it lacked seatbelts or a backseat. Even now everytime he braked he means a hand out to block the girls even with Ziggy in your lap.Â
âI donât knowâŚâÂ
âPlease! Please please.âÂ
âWe will talk about it when we get home.âÂ
Only there was no talking about it, the second you got home with the girls Motley ran to throw away her to go milkshake cup then dashed to your bed quickly which turned into a screaming fit when you tried to tell her no.Â
The word condom just kept circling your mind as you finally just told her to lay down, she did so and Ziggy soon made her appearance to crawl onto the bed.Â
Eddie takes off his shoes. Moving to lay with the girls as you turn off one of the lights so the room was dark enough for them to fall asleep, and then you shuffle to the bathroom to shower before bed so you didnât smell like grease and beer.Â
It wasnât even 10 minutes before you heard the door open and shut softly, you turn already knowing he is heading for the shower and watch as the curtain opens lightly.Â
Normally he would jump right in like he belonged there which would make you laugh, tonight he had a questioning gaze, trying not to over step. You give him a small nod and then the curtain is pushed aside and he dives in, still in his shirt and jeans.Â
âEdward-â you warn before his lips are on yours in a searing kiss. He keeps one hand on your jaw to keep your lips connected as his other wraps around your back to keep you close as the water runs over both of you getting his clothes soaked. By the time you pull back heâs already working his way down your neck with kisses as you earn him again âclothes.âÂ
The hand holding your jaw moves to cover your mouth quickly as he peers at you, giving you a fake angry expression that has you laughing. âDo not wake our kids.â He whispers before stepping back to undress.Â
The jeans take a moment to shuck off since they were wet but the second he is free Eddie dives for you again, showing up just how much he missed you.Â
-
You sit with him on the floor of the kitchen by the fridge, using the light above the oven as your only source of light while you both snack, keeping cuddled together in nothing but your robes.Â
Nothing has been said yet, and you were just fine with that, exhausted and happy that he was there. But he has to ruin it, of course he does.Â
âIâm still sorry.â He murmurs, scraping the cream of one side of an Oreo using the empty side.Â
âI am too. I think weâre both incredibly stupid right now.âÂ
âYouâre telling me.â He blushes. âI justâŚ. There was a time in my life when I hated Uncle Wayne. I had this image in my mind that he was trying to tear me away from my dad. Fuck I just wanted to be with my dad, I looked up to him whether he beat me or not and- the way I treated Wayne and the way I hated himâŚ.. my dad didnât help, everytime I went back with him my mom and I just ended right back up at Wayneâs with more bruises than last time. And when she passed I was the only one there to inflict it. Wayne for him arrested and I swore my world was ending, swore I would never talk to Wayne again.âÂ
âYou thought that was what was going on with Motley? That she felt like you were tearing her and her dad apart?âÂ
âYes and no. I just was trying to prevent that from happening, I didnât want her to have to experience that choice.â He whispers, picking at the robe. âI just wanted to protect her.âÂ
âShe wanted to protect you too.â You whisper back. âThatâs love.âÂ
âBilly told her thatâŚ. That I was gonna try and replace her.â He gulps, and you stop smiling instantly. âAnd now that youâre pregnant, and as happy as I am because I am so happy, I need to make sure she knows that Iâm not trying to replace her.âÂ
âWeâll make it work.â You mumble, laying your head on his shoulder. âWe always doâÂ
He hums out, laying his head on top of yours and sitting in the silence for a moment before you break it once more. âWhere are your rings?âÂ
âHavenât worn them since I got arrested.â He answers, holding up his bare hands. âMy fingers were too bruised and swollen at first, then I just couldnât care to put them on.âÂ
âEddie?âÂ
âYeah?âÂ
âLetâs go to bed..âÂ
âGive me five more minutes.â He whispers, turning his head to kiss your own, keeping his nose pressed into your hair.Â
âWhy?â
âI justâŚ. I just want to be near you for a little longer.âÂ
-Â
The sun peaks through the curtains, hitting Eddie right in the face which in return makes him groan out, moving the pillow around to try and block it. Iâm his attempt to move Ziggy wiggles around, giving a displeased noise that her dad woke her up from sleeping before moving to lay right on his chest.Â
Motley does not move an inch, mouth wide open and eyes sealed shut, Eddie has to reach a hand out to poke her and make sure sheâs not dead.Â
She wrinkles her nose, moving closer and shoving her face in your pillow, staying peacefully asleep.Â
Youâre sitting at the edge of the bed, and he can only blink at you trying to straighten his eyesight as he watches you zip up your work boots. (For some reason I imagine go go boots with the 70s look. I donât know guys. IâŚ.. I have no clue).Â
âYou going to work?â He blurts, making you jump.Â
âSorry, yeah. Max will be here soon to watch the girls. We agreed on it last night before I left.â You mumble, moving to grab your apron.Â
âI can watch emâŚ.â He whispers, staring at you. The way the sun from the window hits you makes you look angelic.Â
âOkay.â You smile, moving to kiss Motley and Ziggys heads before you move to walk away. Fully offended Eddie snatches your hand and draws you back, annoyed at the shit eating grin on your face.Â
âBaby,â he whines making you let out a small laugh and lean down to kiss his lips before rushing to leave.Â
He lays with the girls for a little longer making sure the blanket is covering all three of them before the day truly has to start and he forces himself to get up. Setting Ziggy down without waking her up was a difficult task but he managed, shuffling to the bathroom to change into todays clothes, thankful that he no longer has to wear all the shit clothes he left at Wayneâs when he originally moved out.Â
Upon exiting the bathroom he nearly trips over Motley, who had been sitting in front of the door. âWhat are you doing Metalhead?âÂ
âYou took foreverâŚâ she whines, wrapping herself around his calf which makes him smile. âI wanna stay with you.âÂ
âOkay,â he answers, moving down to peel her off his leg and letting her climb up for a piggy back. âYouâre gonna help me make breakfast then.âÂ
âWaffles?âÂ
âWeâll just have to wait and see.â He smirks, walking down the hall as the front door opens to reveal Max.Â
âHey. Sorry Iâm late.â She rushes out, face red from running. âI woke up a little late and-âÂ
âItâs no problem. Iâm here if you had other things to do.â Eddie offers. âOr you can stay and have some breakfast?âÂ
âSounds great. Iâm kinda ignoring the rest of the group right now.â She explains, setting her bag down and following them into the kitchen. Eddie gets Max set up at the table, trying to set Motley with her but the girl wiggles and whines so he allows her to stay.Â
He listens to Max rant about the group as he moves around to make waffles, enjoying the easy feeling he gets being here. God why did he ever leave home?Â
â-And Lucas is just always set out to fight Erica. Youâd think he had a crush on Dustin and wanted to date him. You know? I get it, your baby sister starts dating your closest friend. A little weird. But get over it!âÂ
âI think Uncle Dustin and Auntie Erica are so cute!â Motley adds which makes Eddie chuckle a bit.Â
âLucas is upset because he always thought they were in agreement that Erica was annoying.â He explains, bending down to set Motley down and bring the food to the table. âBut itâs been months. Time to move on.âÂ
âExactly!â Max sighs right as Ziggy comes pounding in with an angry look.
âAloneâŚ.â She whines and Eddie smiles at her. âAweee did you wake up alone? My poor little baby.â He coos, picking her up and bringing her close to kiss before setting her on his lap to help her eat. He already knew she would not be into the high chair based on the way even Motley was clinging to him.Â
Even now, as she used a spoon to shove waffles in her mouth, she kept a hand on his own arm to keep him close.Â
âIâm gonna work on mamas car today.â He explains. âIâll be right outside. So maybe you girls can stay in here and keep Max company.âÂ
âI wanna stay with you.â Motley whines, giving him puppy dog eyes.Â
âNo itâs too cold. You stay in here. Okay?â And then Eddie gave her his puppy dog eyes. Oh yeah, canât beat dads game.Â
She groans and looks at Max who smiles in return. âIâve been practicing my barbie voices just for you.âÂ
âFine! But barbie is married to G.I. Joe! Ken is the villain. Weâre not arguing about it again.âÂ
âBut isnât it Barbie and Ken? Wouldnât Joe be the villain?âÂ
âMaxine.â Motley warns, slamming her tiny hand on the table.Â
âFine. Got it.âÂ
-
It didnât last long.Â
Eddie had put on his mechanic suit, trying to keep warm as he took a look at what was going on with your car. 15 minutes in Motley came out wearing her snowsuit and smiling. âLook daddy! I can help!âÂ
âI thought I said to stay inside-â a laugh breaks out when she takes off the hood of the snow suit to reveal that she tied a bandana over her head like a hat. âThatâs not how you tie it. Come here.âÂ
He helps her tie it like his, telling her to sit a little closer to the grass as he keeps working, making sure the radio is on a station she would like as he does so.Â
By the time you get home she is making snow angels in the snow of the lawn as he curses under his breath.Â
âWhatâs going on?â You ask, making him jump and hit his head on the hood of your car. âOh! Iâm so sorr-âÂ
âItâs good. Iâm good.â He laughs, letting you fuss over him anyways. He takes his chance to kiss at you before you are pulling back.Â
âYou are covered in car nastiness-âÂ
âYou mean grease and oil?â He laughs, keeping you trapped in his arms to rub his cheek on your shoulder. You yell out playfully, still trying to escape as he does so.Â
âDoes this mean you guys are good?â Steve appears, dustin behind him. âAre you done being mad at me Y/n?â
âI was never mad at you!â Eddie keeps his arms around you as you turn to look at Steve, making sure Motley is good.Â
âYes you were. I waved at you the other night and you completely ignored me.âÂ
âI didnât see you wave.â You reply and Eddie canât help but laugh.Â
âI called your name!â
âIt was a busy restaurant, how am I supposed to hear everything.â You scoff, pulling from Eddieâs arms and flipping your hair. âCome on Motley. Letâs go inside.âÂ
âJust admit you saw me wave!â Steve groans, following you to the door before Motley turns to shove him and close the door in his face. âRude!âÂ
âSteve, did you just get beat up by a kid?â Dustin laughs.Â
âItâs Eddieâs kid. Does that count?âÂ
âMy kids are great!âÂ
-Â
Things took a moment to get back to normal, but that was to be expected.Â
Eddie found the folder of all your research on places to go, running his fingers over the math you sprawled across the pages to figure out how you would afford it, he promptly threw it in the trash bins outside.Â
Motley stayed glued to Eddie as much as she could, and in the mornings when he had to get up for work she made sure to wake him up and give him a kiss by the door making sure that he swore to come back before she would dash down the hall and lay with you.Â
Makeup Christmas happened, except it was only Wayne that was invited and instead of a whole feast you guys ordered a crap ton of Chinese food.Â
Wayne came over early, sneaking around the back and coming in through the back door which confused the girls to no end but they were excited to see their grandpa.Â
Ziggy also proved that she learned 2 more words by saying âshit grandpa!â All excited and reaching her hands up for him to grab her.Â
He howls with laughter, scooping her up and throwing her in the air as she screams in excitement.Â
Everyone sits around the tree opening gifts, Wayne on the couch with Ziggy on his lap helping her open the gifts. Eddie sat by the tree, passing them out with Motley right by him and you next to her.Â
He pulls out an envelope that has his name sprawled on it and looks at you.Â
âI had a plan for Christmas. But I kind of had to redo it. I planned on giving you the stick, but figured since you already know Iâd get the ultrasound.â Yoh blush, watching his excitedly tear it open.Â
Itâs quiet for a moment as everyone watches him admire the photo, smiling from ear to ear.Â
âAnything you notice?â You ask, waiting.Â
âWhat do you mean?â He asks, before Wayne snaps his fingers and grabs the photo gently.Â
âThereâs two.â Wayne grunts before his eyes light up. âYouâre having twins!âÂ
âObviouslyâŚ.â Eddie mumbles, âwe already knew that?âÂ
âWhat?âÂ
âThe stick? It had two blue lines? So that means weâre having twin boys? Right?â Eddie mumbles, staring at you like your crazy.Â
Itâs quiet for a moment as you and Wayne process what he said before you burst into laughter, the girls following even though they had no clue what was going on.Â
âNot even close boy!â Wayne cackles as you have to wipe some of the tears from your eyes.Â
âDoes that mean youâre pregnant mommy?â Motley asks, turning to look at you with wide eyes. Your heart stops, going back to what Eddie had told you.Â
âYes. Mommy is pregnant .â You wait to see her reaction and Eddie finds himself reaching for the gift he had added two days ago. âMotty. I have something for you.âÂ
He snatches the tiny box, holding it out to her. âItâs a really important gift though. Okay?âÂ
She nods slowly, taking the box from him and opening it just as slow. Inside held a simple chain necklace, but when she pulled it out it revealed that he had hung his mothers ring on it, the one he normally wore on his right hand by itself. âI was told to give this ring to someone very special. Itâs from my own mom.âÂ
She gasps, turning to him. âYouâre giving it to me?!âÂ
âWell yeah! Youâre my oldest kid. My firstborn.â He laughs, moving to help her put it on. Then he snatches another box and hands it to her. âThis one is for both you and your sister.âÂ
She reaches for it and opens it gently, pulling out a heavy chain that has a dog tag connected to it. âAnother necklace?âÂ
âWellâŚ..â Wayne laughs, flipping it to reveal what the dog tag says.Â
âWho is Zeppeplin?âÂ
âZeppelin, baby.â You correct, already standing up.Â
âWho is Zeppelin?â She giggles, which makes Eddie laugh, picking her up by her armpits to make her stand as you go and open the back door.Â
The dog, a young little puppy at most, snaps his head to the noise and wags itâs tail excitedly upon seeing you.Â
âCome in!â You smile and he bolts from his spot tearing up sticks to get inside. Once he hits the threshold of the house he is everywhere. Sniffing the fridge to the chairs, jumping on his hind legs to clean up the high chair where Ziggy left her banana. After inhaling that he bolts to explore more, completely missing the living room as he bolts down the hall to sniff all the rooms.Â
Once Motley sees the flash of fur she screams in excitement, which draws the puppy back and they both just feed off each others excitement.Â
Sheâs jumping up and down, screaming in excitement and the dog starts howling to match her while his butt starts wiggling at how hard he is wagging his tail.Â
âI am so excited for Chinese later.â Wayne murmurs, coming to hug you as Eddie tries to calm both the noisemakers down. âThank you for inviting me.âÂ
âOf course, youâre grandpa.â You smile, watching Ziggy from his arms just stare intently at the scene before her. âShe canât tell whether to be excited or scared.âÂ
Wayne laughs, pointing to the dog and trying to help Ziggy see him.Â
Later that evening everyone sits around the table, Max with you all, as you pile Chinese food onto the plates. Motley keeps showing Max the necklace she got while Wayne keeps bragging to Eddie about his new Jean jacket.Â
Zeppelin chooses to sit by Ziggy, and itâs very clear that the dog has already figured out who will drop the most food. Ziggy giggles every time she drops a piece of broccoli and he catches it.Â
âNow weâre gonna have to watch her every time we give her veggies.â Eddie groans. âSheâs got an accomplice!âÂ
âZeppy and Ziggy!â Motley cheers like their superheroes.Â
-Â
February rolls around soon enough, and your daughters biggest catastrophe had nothing to do with the restraining order on Billy, or her dads new bike (which she was terrified of). No. Motleys world was ending over valentines cards.Â
Eddie had helped her pick them out, little heart shaped cards that you could stick lollipops in, and had sat with her to write in them as you took Ziggy in for a haircut.Â
The only one that Motley had not written a card for was Troy, and now the morning of Valentineâs Day she was still panicking.Â
âI canât write love cause then he will want to get married!â She explains and Eddie nods like itâs super serious. âAnd I canât write like, because then he will know I have a crush on him!âÂ
âGlad you can admit it.â He nods and she rolls her eyes. âHereâs an idea! Okay, you ready metal head?âÂ
âReady daddy!âÂ
âYou can write âfrom Motleyâ.â He laughs, watching her face go serious.Â
âThatâs what I wrote on the others!âÂ
âExactly.â He watches as she thinks about it before nodding quickly and writing it down, tossing it in her valentines box and dashing to grab her backpack.Â
âShe finally figure out Troys?â You ask, shuffling Ziggy in. âItâs been days.âÂ
âShe did. We decided on writing âfrom motleyâ.â He smiles, leaning forward to kiss you before leaning down to kiss your stomach then Ziggy.Â
âStevieâŚ.â Ziggy giggles, running to the phone. It didnât take long to figure out that she would be the one to run the phone bill up, even now she spent every morning learning to dial her uncle Steveâs number. She dialed Dustin once but deemed him âpoopoo head.âÂ
âNuh uh. Come eat pretty girl.â Eddie calls, pointing to her chair. âZeppelin is waiting.âÂ
The dog, who just a month ago had been tiny enough to lay under her chair, now sat at full height beside it. Still a puppy, just bigger. Â
Ziggy runs, her little pigtails bouncing as Eddie picks her up by the overalls to sit her in the chair. Now trained Ziggy eats his dog food beside her rather than everything she drops, and if somehow someway some of her waffle drops in his bowl then it canât really be considered his fault.Â
âMotley, hurry up baby.â You call. âWe gotta go.âÂ
âYou good to pick Wayne up?â Eddie asks, moving to grab his lunch.Â
âYes. Iâll drop Motley off at school and go and grab him.â Wayne had injured his hip, so today youâll be taking him to the doctors to see what the plan was while Eddie went to work.Â
âOkay. And Ziggy is still good to-?âÂ
âZiggy and Zeppelin are going to Nancyâs, yes.â You smile. Nancy had just given birth to her third boy, and she liked having Ziggy over because she liked having another girl in the house.Â
âOkay. Tell me how it goes?â He asks, leaning to give you one more goodbye kiss as you nod before moving to say bye to Motley. âBYE BEAUTIFUL LADIES!âÂ
The day had started off so well, you should have known it would only go downhill from there.Â
Wayne sat in the passenger seat of your car, irritated and ranting about shitty doctors. âIâm not doing it. You hear me? Just give me some Tylenol and Iâll be fine.âÂ
âMOMMY!â Ziggy screams, from her spot on her car seat.Â
The doctor had told Wayne he needed hip surgery and could not work, which meant that Wayne was pissed and you were panicking about what to do. He couldnât work which meant he wouldnât be able to make rent and he would need some help to move around. Then when you got to Steve and Nancyâs she had told you that Ziggy had taken quite a stumble off the table and scratched her chin on the corner of the table.Â
It was a mess.Â
Both of them were not having a good day and Zeppelin was howling at their ranting and screaming and as much as you loved them you truly debated crashing the car.Â
Then you got home to yelling.Â
Eddie stood in the living room, still in his work attire with his hands on his hips and his eyes wide. âYouâre in rare fucking form today, you know that?!âÂ
The response to his question is met with a demonic scream from down the hall and you can only assume that Motley was having a bad time as well.Â
âIâm not getting a surgery, you hear me Edward?â Wayne snaps, limping to the couch.Â
âWhat the fuck are you on now?â He snaps back, looking at him annoyed as Ziggy rushes past crying. âWhat the fuck is going on?âÂ
âItâs apparently a meltdown day.â You sigh, moving to kiss his cheek and go into the kitchen to make a snack for yourself.Â
Todays pregnancy craving was potato chips with lime juice and pickles, Eddie watches from the entrance of the kitchen with a smile as you settle at the table and enjoy your snack.Â
He moves and takes the seat next to you, following your lead on snacks.Â
âWhy is Metalhead in ârare fucking formâ today?â You giggle, watching his face pinch in annoyance.Â
âI pick her up and she gets in the car, right? And then she just starts screaming at me! And I mean screaming. The entire ride home! And from what I gather Vinny didnât give her a valentines card.â He explains. âGod. She was yelling like she was possessed. Then I tried explaining that maybe it was lost and that made it worse.âÂ
âDid she get one from Troy?âÂ
âI donât know. I donât think she cares either.â He sighs, rubbing his jaw.Â
âOkay, we let her ride out the fit in her room. Weâll call Steve later to see what happened.âÂ
âSounds great to me.â He smiles. âShe scared me a little. Threatened to cut her hair and everything. Then threatened to cut MY hair.âÂ
A small laugh tears from you as he steals the potato chip in your hand before looking to Wayneâs direction. âThey recommend surgery?âÂ
âIt wasnât a recommendation.â You sigh, grabbing his hand and tracing the tattoo. âI think we need to move the house around.âÂ
âWhat?âÂ
âIf Wayne gets surgery he needs to be here. Iâll cut back shifts at the diner and help him out.â You start. âHe wonât be able to use the stairs so maybe we can move our room downstairs which would give more room for the twins cribs in our room, but Ziggy has problems with the stairs and she likes coming in to sleep with us cause of the nightmares but-âÂ
âEasy. Easy.â Eddie mumbles, turning his hand up quickly to snatch your hand and pull it to his lips. âWeâll figure it out.âÂ
-Â
And so you did.Â
Eddie moved the house around, and turned the basement into a bedroom for you guys. Now with more room and your own bathroom down here he could set up the cribs.Â
Wayne took your old room, and though the man threw a fit the girls got excited that Grandpa Wayne would be living here now.Â
He got the surgery in the beginning of March, and Motley and Vinny were still fighting.Â
You spent your days helping Wayne, taking him to pt and helping him move around the house.Â
Motley and Vinny got put into separate classes which lead to a whole argument between Steve and Eddie about whose kid was the one to blame.Â
Life was a bit of a mess.Â
It all came to head at the children's father dance.Â
Eddie had dressed in a tux, making sure he looked good as you got Motley ready for the night. With Wayne napping on the couch with Ziggy asleep on his chest drooling (a daily nap these two took) Zeppelin follows at your feet, keeping close to you as you did Motley's hair.Â
âHow do I look?â Eddie asks from the door of the bathroom. âI have a date tonight and Iâm really nervous.â
âDaddy!â Motley giggles, rushing to him in her puffy little skirt, hugging him tightly.Â
âAlright you two. Let me get a picture.â You smile, rushing past to find where the camera had gone. By the time you got a picture of them Motley was rushing Eddie out, ready for the dance.Â
He struggles to find parking, and ends up finding one right next to Steveâs car, rolling his eyes when he sees Harrington fixing his jacket while Vinny reads in the car.Â
âHarrington.â He greets coldly, fixing his leather jacket and moving to open the door for his daughter.Â
âMunson.â Steve matches the tone, scoffing at Eddieâs jacket. âLittle Munson.âÂ
âUncle Steve.â She huffs, fixing her hair.Â
âReally? A leather jacket Edward?âÂ
âYou look like you stepped off a Queen music video, Steven.â Eddie snaps, holding out his hand for Motley. Fighting or not they wait at the front of the car for Steve and Vinny. Walking into the dance together.Â
âIâm surprised that they even let you in here. Your child is a danger to society.â Steve snaps as they wait in line for tickets.Â
âLetâs talk about your kid giving everyone but my sweet Angel a valentines card. Thatâs barbaric.â Eddie defends, watching Motley wave to her friends.Â
âHe didnât want to. And I donât need to tell him what to do.â Steve blushes, turning to look at something to avoid looking at Eddie.Â
âThere it is again. Youâre acting so fucking suspicious about that card, man.â Eddie points at him, silver rings glinting in the light. âTell me what you know.âÂ
âTickets?â The poor woman asks, interrupting their stand off.Â
âYes please. Four.âÂ
âNo two. Iâll get my tickets.âÂ
âNo Iâll get themâÂ
âYouâre not buying me ,Steven.âÂ
âHeâs buying me.â Motley smiles, snatching the money from Steveâs hands and setting them on the table before grabbing two tickets. âLetâs go get some pop, daddy.âÂ
Eddie can do nothing but follow, letting the little lady lead the way.Â
After about an hour of Motley showing him everything and introducing him to all her friends she abandoned him to hang out with some of the girls in her class, making sure Eddie was okay where he sat at an empty table nursing a can of soda.Â
It felt like high school again, watching the way all the other dads surrounded Harrington as the pta moms that decorated huddled together and giggled in the corner. At least the kids were having fun.Â
Eddie wished you were here, you would be sitting with him.Â
âJesus. Gary never shuts up.â Steve mumbles, snapping Eddie out of his train of thought. âI got you a slice of pizza.âÂ
He sets the slice down, giving Eddie a weird smile as he scarfs down his own slice. But eddie wasnât very hungry, instead he surveyed to check on motley and see her giggling with all her friends as they dance in a circle.Â
âYour kid has been sitting alone, you gonna help?â Eddie asks, looking to where Vinny sits reading a book.Â
âI tried earlier. He just said something about me embarrassing him more.â Steve sighs. âThen complained that I ruin everything.âÂ
âWhat happened? Iâve never seen him alone at a party.âÂ
âHave I not told you? Your daughter is the popular one. They made her move classes and he was left in their old class struggling to make friends.â Steve mumbles.Â
âWhy donât you get one of the many dads following you around to get their kids over there? It feels like Iâm in highschool again, waiting for your cronies to shove me in the bathrooms and lock me in again.â
âHow long were you in that bathroom, again? Two hours?âÂ
âThree.â Eddie sighs. âI smoked and set off an alarm so the principal found me.âÂ
âSorry.âÂ
âWasnt one of your worst. I was fine.â Eddie shrugs. âSorry about Vinny.âÂ
âI have faith.â Steve sighs, leaning back in his chair. âI also cannot believe Iâm at a daddy daughter dance.âÂ
âItâs a father kid dance?âÂ
âThey didnât want the boys feeling left out.â Steve explains.Â
âI see.â Eddie smiles, picking at the pizza.Â
âHe wrote one. You know?âÂ
âSorry?âÂ
âVinny wrote one. He wrote a valentine for Motley and got her a big chocolate bar. But a girl made fun of him in the parking lot and he panicked.â Steve explains. âRipped it up and left the chocolate on my car to melt on the seats.âÂ
âI can clean that.âÂ
âYou can?!âÂ
âOh yeah. I got you Harrington.â Eddie laughs right as another dad comes to the table.Â
âHowdy gentleman.â He smiles, sitting down. Eddie has to blink to recognize, holy shit thatâs Tommy. âOooo. Iâm sitting at the hellfire table. So scaryâŚâÂ
âDo you have a kid hereâŚ?â Steve asks, blinking slowly.Â
âYeah.â He slurs, pointing to the young kid stuffing his face with marshmallows. âYou guys want some whiskey?âÂ
âJesus. I smell it from here man.â Steve snaps, standing up.Â
âIâm driving. Hard pass.â Eddie laughs, standing with Steve.Â
âItâs so weird to me that you two are friends! That shit is likeâŚ.. mind flowing!âÂ
âBlowing.â Steve corrects and Eddie sighs. âDamn it Harrington. It was a trap.âÂ
âBlowing is more for you guys, if you know what I mean.â Tommy laughs and Eddie shakes his head.Â
âHow did you fall for that Harrington? You made that line.â Eddie grumbles, moving to find Motley. âHey Metalhead?âÂ
âYeah daddy?â She asks, coming up with her cheeks bright red from all the dancing.Â
âHave you eaten?â He asks, offering her a bite of his pizza before looking back over to Vinny. âThink you can go help him out?âÂ
âYeah. I guess.â She sighs, kissing his cheek and rushing to find Vinny and bring him out to dance.Â
By the end of the night Eddie has danced to about every little pop song she wants, and by the time he is bringing her to the car itâs more of a carrying her situation as Steve tries to trip Vinny up.Â
âHave a good night Harringtons.â Eddie laughs.Â
âSleep tight Munsons.âÂ
-Â
âShouldn't you be in bed?â Eddie asks, peering up at you over his book as you shuffle and pace around the room.Â
âShut up.â You grunt, waving your hand at him. Your face is pinched up and Eddie finds himself sitting up and staring at you.Â
âWhatâs going on here?âÂ
âEdward shut UP!â You snap, pacing back to the wall and holding your hands against it to try and breathe in. âSorry. Sorry that was mean.âÂ
âAre you in pain?â He mumbles, standing up and putting on his slippers.Â
It was your ninth month, and Eddie was anxious because he had never experienced the pregnancy part of it all before so every kick and movement made him worried.Â
âEddie. Edward. Eds.â You grunt out, and right there something trickles down your leg.Â
âDid you just pee?âÂ
âEDWARD!âÂ
(Would you guys want me to keep going? I have more ideas {Especially Motley in high school} Feel free to message me if you want me to keep going or if you have any blurbs or requests for them in mind)

I always liked to share my cute Au's But I never got to the right place to say them...Sharing this anonymously I know it's cowardly...I'm a coward, one who thinks Danielle would be a nice daughter for Vlad and Danny
No mistreatment, no abuse, none of that... Just love, love from cute husbands and their spoiled little daughter who likes to braid her father Vlad's hair while eating cheese balls, Little family moments where they go to play and Dani's "ewww" sound when her parents kiss, When they snuggle up on the couch to watch a movie covered with a blanket and laugh while watching Frozen while Dani says that Olaf looks like Danny, Vlad spitting out his breakfast coffee while Danny tries to cook pancakes for breakfast while his daughter tells how she likes a boy at her school, And Vlad screaming that he knew that putting her in a public school was a terrible option, Sobbing into Danny's cute chef outfit about why he didn't grow up so fast and how he didn't want to be without a nun...Oh just walking in the park, Danny scolding his husband between kisses for spoiling his daughter so much and not giving her all his attention, and having cute moments when his daughter goes to school, Many kisses and caresses are more cloying than a cup of honey with chocolate and sugar, And how Dani jumps on his parents' bed shouting "it's daylight!" Like a child when it's already Christmas...
Yes, Pompous pep is love.
It truly is âĽ

the pogues + their favorite holidays!!
john bâs always been a christmas kinda guy. some of his happiest memories are of him tearing open the wrapping on the few presents big john had been able to save up for, cross-legged under their little tree. is also 1000% the type to put mistletoe everywhere to kiss you (which backfires when jj shoves you out of the way, wanting a smooch of his own).
pope loves halloween! i know he kind of reads as the type to be a scaredy cat, but i feel like heâs a HUGE film buff, so heâll gladly sit and marathon scary movies with you. heâll point out how cool the practical effects are, or make fun of the terrible acting, you happily listening as he rambles. and if youâre passing out candy to trick or treaters? oh my GOD. pope is hyping up every kid and their costume, saves up for a month prior to make sure you guys hand out the big candy bars, just generally has the time of his life. he is ADORABLE.
jjâs favorite holiday is the fourth of july, not because heâs particularly patriotic, but because itâs the one day a year where he can set off as many explosives as he wants without having the police called on him. absolutely insists on grilling burgers on a charcoal grill so tiny he can barely do 2 at one time, so by the time heâs done everyone would be significantly hangry had they not blown through all the snacks everyone had brought. finds the perfect place to watch the fireworks days in advance, unable to tear his eyes away from the blinding colors for the duration of the show. itâs beautiful, watching the wonder in his eyes, truly carefree as he marvels at the fireworks.
sarah is a valentineâs girl!! she was 100% the little girl who made everyone in her class a special valentine, not wanting anyone to be excluded or feel less loved! sheâs just obsessed with the vibes, tooâpink, hearts, lace, etc. if youâre blessed enough to be her valentine? she is going ALL OUT- a little gift bag, a special dinnerâŚcertain activities after several glasses of wine during said dinnerâŚ..
though itâs less of a traditional holiday, kieâs favorite is earth day! itâs the one day of the year where no one is allowed to roll their eyes at her environmental campaigns. that and itâs the start of taurus season, because kie is 1000% a taurus and i will die on this hill <33 totally the type of gf to plant a tree for you on this day, or get you one of those turtle tracking bracelets (one to match herâs, ofc).
cleo loves thanksgiving! the girl is a natural born chef, so sheâll really jump at any excuse to cook. that, and she doesnât really have family in the states besides the pogues, so anything to get you all together for a family meal is good in her book. if you show genuine interest in what sheâs making, her heart absolutely SOARS because she really pours herself into her cooking. being her unofficial sous chef gets you points too because acts of service mean a lot to her.

AUSTIN AND ME
âFor the last time.â
âWife to the âkingâ. Icon to the world. Destined for more.â
Summary: At 18 years old, she fell in love with Austin, at 20 years old, she became his wife, by 22, she was his doll. In which Cynthiaâs life changed drastically after falling head over heels with a man that promised her the moon and the stars. She takes us down the memory lane of what couldâve beenâ the perfect marriage.
Inspired by the book: Elvis and Me by Priscilla Presley.
I do not condemn any of the portrayals I decide to do about certain people, itâs just fanfiction. And it would be divided in parts.
English isnât my first language so Iâm trying my best!
This one is for my girl @lovemyselfyay hope u like it girl!
The months following my birthday were hectic, with my advanced pregnancy, I was alone once again on my last trimester as Austin was away filming two movies, Dune Part Two and The Bikeriders. I found myself alone but I wasnât lonely, because I had Lori with me.
Our lives has changed since ELVIS came out, he was an actor on the rise, finally getting the fruits of what he had been working on for a decade. I was an actress but he was more popular than me. I hadnât worked since 2019, three years. And with a baby, I doubted I would go back any sooner.
By the time he was back home, it was November. And I didnât expect to go into laborâ at home.
I had never been so scared before. We had talked about possibilities of me having a birth at home but I was terribly scared. Even though I had a midwife, a doctor and Austin. It wasnât an easy birth. I called the midwife a bitch, I think I even gave her another check with the subject âsorry for cursing at you, missâ
And after hours of labor, the baby was finally born. I was scared, emotional, in pain, sweaty, and the first thing they did was hand my child to Austin. I glared at the doctor.
âItâs a boy! Look, baby, a boy. Oh, and he has my face!â Austin was enthusiastic, maybe even more than he was when Lori was born.
Once I saw my boy, I held him close to me, the bundle in the blanket, oh, yes, he looked exactly like Austin. Nine months carrying him just so that he ends up looking like his idiot of a father.
But I loved my boy, his light blond hair, his blue eyes. His fatherâs copy. The same beautiful nose. I chuckled as I held him close. I felt happy.
I received a ton of congratulations from good friends, as well as many visits by Austinâs celebrity friends. I wasnât in the mood to receive that many people but I tried to tell myself that they did it with their best intentions at heart.
Lori was a bit jealous, she had been crying nonstop at nights, Austin had to hold her and tell her:
âMommy isnât replacing you, sheâs just taking care of your little brother. Donât you love him?â
And she would cry louder, she still thought we would forget about her. So every morning, I tried to be the one waking her up. Even though I was sleepless thanks to Sean. I would color with her instead of sleeping once Julian was asleep, or take time to try and bake with her.
Christmas was a few weeks away and we were going to spend it at his grandparents home. They wanted to see Lori and Sean. Wanted to make them experience the Christmas Austin experiences as a kid.
So, we went Christmas shopping. I was one month postpartum but I felt hay I had to look god to be by his side. Because he looked amazing, so I went all out. And Thank God I did. Because some people took photos of us.
But I was more focused on getting everything on Loriâs letter than my facial expressions.
âI swear to God. I have never seen so much pink in my car.â Austin complained as he placed some bags on the backseat. The back of his seat was filled with stickers, Loriâs work. âAnd they donât come off.â
âYou can thank Lori for that.â I said as I sipped my drink. Getting into the passenger seat.
âYouâll wrap all the gifts, right?â He asked me once he got inside the car. I glared at him. I was taking care of a newborn and a four year old. âGot it. So princess wrapping, right?â
I chuckled and nodded. I was happy that this time I wouldnât have to cook, or do much.
âWe shouldnât spoil her so much.â Austin said as he drove. âI mean, we got her too many presents this year.â
I didnât answer, as a child, I was used to getting so many presents. My entire living room would be filled to the brim with presents for my sisters and I.
âNot sure in the right person you want to tell that.â I said, looking out the window. He scoffed.
I had my hair done up all 60âs beauty queen style, I had made the effort and as always, he started sticking his fingers onto my teased hair.
âStop it.â I tried to slap his hand. Laughing.
âStop it.â He mimicked my voice as he kept sticking his fingers into my bouffant.
The car then stayed silent after he stop, at a red light, he spoke.
âCallum called me to congratulate me. He said thatâ he was happy for us. Heâll make sure to make time to visit.â Austin said awkwardly, gripping the steering wheel.
Your friend and wifeâs side lad con you on the birth of your child wasnât something any man wanted.
âReally? He couldâve texted me.â I said, but I regretted immediately.
Yes, tell your husband that you wished your ex-lover would have texted you! Great thinking, Cynthia!
âSo, does your grandma like Cinnamon Rolls?â I tried to change the topic to my baking.
âShe does. She does.â He nodded, his face now serious.
âItâs over between Callum and I. You donât have to worry anymore.â I said, looking down on my lap.
âThatâs good.â He nodded, his hand rubbing his chin and then clenching his jaw.
Then everything went quiet, only the music he had on played in the background. I was now regretting saying anything at all. Again, someone shouldâve slapped my mouth as a child.
The Christmas Day I was all day running around like a chicken without its head. Getting the things ready, my desserts, the kids. I had to bathe the kids, had to dress Lori, dress Sean.
In the end, I did myself. I kept my bouffant, did my makeup, keeping it light. I couldnât go all out, it was in his grandparents house. And I wore a pink plaid dress, white flats. He wore his usual clothes, a white tshirt, a leather jacket, straight denim jeans and his black cowboy boots.
Once we arrived, he took charge of getting everything inside while I took the kids inside. Lori was so excited while Sean was asleep in my arms.
âOh, my dearest loves!â Austinâs grandma opened the door, Lori rushing towards her and pulling her in for a hug. âI missed you too, sweetheart. I want to see your brother too!â
The white-haired woman looked at the bundle in my arms. The tiny boy in the blanket moving his head a little, his mouth open.
âLook at you, youâre shining!â Grandma said, making space for us to come in.
We settled down and his grandpa came to greet us, he had been busy with the turkey and the rest of dinner.
They were very loving towards the kids, never I can I complain about them. They did what they could and they loved my kids to the bone.
After helping us unwind, I sat on the old couch, smiling down at Sean.
âYou look stunning, dear. Are you sure you just had the baby?â Grandma asked me, smiling at my boy.
âIâve been holding up lately. Austin got me a cook and a maid.â I smiled.
I had to admit, Austin stepped up this pregnancy because he knew he would be away filming.
âYou did good, sweetie.â Grandma patted his leg, Austin smiled with his lips closwd.
âBut seriously, Cynthia, you look stunning.â Grandpa complimented me, the old man pushing his glasses up his nose bridge, as Lori sat on his lap.
âThank you.â I smiled at the man. I enjoyed getting compliments, even more now that I just given birth, my hormones made me believe I was the ugliest girl alive.
âHe looks just like Austin. I remember when we first saw him. He was this tiny red thing, he looked like a shrimp!â Grandma joked, laughing.
âIâve seen pictures. He was so red!â I laughed. For whatever Austinâs faults were, he was a cute kid once.
âI was flushed, alright? Enough laughing.â Austin pouted. He took Sean from my arms, Sean looked very small on his hands.
We were staying the night of Christmas Eve, so after I was finally able to tuck Lori in bed after promising that if she fell asleep, Santa would come to put her presents under the tree. Lori had her own room at Austinâs grandparents house, since she was the only great-grandchild that ever stayed here.
Austin and I had our Sean into his portable crib, as we were in his childhood bedroom, in bed, he was all over me, his lips on mine as his tongue made his way into my mouth.
âSo sweetâŚâ he muttered on my lips.
The last thing I wanted was to have sex, but could I ever say no to Austinâs lip? No, I couldnât refuse him.
âSo pretty and all for me nowâŚâ He muttered again, chuckling and his thumb caressed by stomach.
I had been self conscious lately. I was trying to get rid of the baby weight, but Austin seemed to like it. He never commented on it. I remembered the time I was pregnant with Lori, starving myself because I thought he would want me always small and lean. He didnât.
I couldnât believe we could be fighting minutes before and now we were making out. I hated him but I loved him. I didnât know what to think. I just hated how many times he had hurt me but I couldnât stop loving him. Even after I had screwed around another man, no one could compare.
At about 12 AM, we went to the car to take our all the presents and put them under the tree. Austin ate the cookies and poured the milk down the sink.
âLook at this. Weâre spoiling her too much.â He whispered as he walked backwards, looking at the present-filled living room. Yes, Lori was definitely the daughter of celebrities.
âSheâs been good. And she deserves it. So she doesnât think weâre forgetting about her and replacing her.â I said, crossing my arms. I yawned.
âLetâs go to sleep. I just know sheâll wake up at seven am.â Austin said, his hand on my lower back as he guided me to the bedroom.
We laid together at bed, I couldnât sleep without Sean by my side. So I placed him between us. The tiny boy cuddled with me, Austin hugged Seanâs little body.
I was falling asleep after him, he looked so beautiful, they did. A part of me felt guilty for ever thinking of leaving him.
I was being selfish towards myself. That man had hurt me many times. But I couldnât help loving him.
The next morning, Lori came to wake us up at eight am. Excitedly she pulled my feet and I woke up startled, Austin too, she even pulled Seanâs tiny feet, poor baby, he started crying after she scared him up.
âWhat is it, baby? Huh?â Austin asked her as he picked her up.
âPresents! Santa!â Lori smiled, nuzzling her face into Austinâs neck.
Once she saw the living room, she yelled excitedly, I watched as she opened her presents one by one, I held Sean on my chest, I couldnât wait until he was old enough to enjoy Christmas too.
âI got you this.â Austin told me, he held a small box and opened it in front of me. A beautiful ring.
âAustin, you didnât have to-â I said, I was very excited. A new ring, from him! I didnât know how to feel but my heart softened, I appreciated the thought so much. Very much.
âI has our anniversary date carved on the inside. So you have me with you anytime. Like you already do with the locket.â He caressed my cheek with his thumb before kissing my lips softly.
Afterwards I sat down to see Lori putting together some of her toys while I was playing with my new ring, just watching Lori made me smile. She was the reason I stayed with Austin, she was the reason I had out up with so much. She was the reason I was still trying to make things work with Austin.
And I thought. I really thought that things were starting to work out once more. Specially once we had breakfast all together.
After the breakfast, I was in the bedroom, tidying everything up. Until Austinâs phone vibrated a shit ton of times. I didnât mean to be nosy but I was just curious so I grabbed it. Text messages from Kaia Gerber.
âMerry Christmas babyđâ
âI hope we can see each other so I can give you my present ;)â
âIâm sure Cynthia wasnât able to give you one anyways.â
I thought I could trust him once more. But I had forgotten how secretive and how low key he could be. I thought they were just mutual friends. I had been pregnant with his second child this whole time.
This was the last time I was trusting him.
Motherfucker.

No one is permitted to copying my work, reblogging it as their own, or stealing it!!
Youâve always been a bit insecure when it comes to dating Nat. People often judge you both on the age gap and you hate to admit that it gets to you. Nat always reassured you that she loved you no matter how old you are but that feeling would still rise, especially seeing the online comments. Many people were jealous and wanted to share their opinions on the relationship as if it mattered. Youâd try your best to ignore it but it hurt seeing how many people wanted you guys to fall apart.
It was nearing Christmas time and you were excited, you wanted to decorate and do all the things you dreamed of when you were young. You planned to make a gingerbread house, bake some cookies, and decorate the entire place. When you told Nat your idea she was more than willing to try all of the things you listed, she never got to have that as a kid so she was almost as excited as you are. You just returned home with some of the baking equipment and were headed into the kitchen when you saw Nat there.
âOh hey Nat! I have all the stuff for the cookies and the gingerbread house so whenever you want to make them is fine.â When you got excited you often spoke in a ramble, it was something you always did. This was one of those times.
âGod can you slow down, itâs annoying.â Nat said in an annoyed groan, still not facing you. You felt embarrassed, she never got mad at you for rambling, she said it was cute. So why does she all of the sudden hate it?
âIâm sorry Nat, you know me I guess Iâm just excited,â you said in a nervous chuckle, trying to break the awkward aroma. âWell when would you want to build the gingerbread house? Or we could bake the cookies first if you want.â The thrill came back as you thought of all the fun youâd both have together. Making terrible designs on the gingerbread house that ended up falling over, causing a fit of laughs. Baking the cookies and the others trying to steal them, even watching a movie together while snacking on them. Your smile altered at Natâs next words,
âCan you shut up about those stupid Christmas things! Theyâre for children, Iâm 34 I donât want to do that shit anymore!â Nat exclaimed as she finally turned to look at you. You were confused, one minute she was happy to try out the idea and the next sheâs complaining about it?
âTheyâre not just for children Nat, I like to do it too.â You muttered, nervous for her reaction. No matter how tough you are Nat still had the control over you, making you often fear her more than one should.
âExactly my point. Youâre basically a fucking child Y/N, youâre 21. Youâre barely able to even drink for Christ sakes.â She took a long breath before continuing, âyou know maybe all those people were right, maybe you are too young for me.â She whispered but you still heard it.
âNat, you donât mean that.â You were hoping she didnât, you couldnât live without her.
âYes I do. I donât think we should see each other anymore.â Your heart was breaking, itâs as if you could feel it. You stood there with tears in your eyes looking at her with desperation. She showed no emotion like usual.
âFine if thatâs what you want, then consider me gone. I wonât annoy you anymore, and you can be with someone your age, someone more mature. And I guess I should give you this,â you reached into the small bag looking for the item. âHere.â You said as you put the small box in her hand.
âWhat-whatâs this?â She questioned, opening the box to find a small ring.
âIt was a promise ring. A promise that no matter what Iâll always love you and that Iâll always care for you. It was supposed to be a Christmas present but that went down the drainâ She looked at you with tears filling her eyes, it was the first time in weeks you saw actual emotions from her.
âY/N-â âDonât. I donât want to hear it. Goodbye Nat, I guess Iâll see you around.â You ignored her calls for you as you went towards your room. Even though you both were dating you had separate rooms, you didnât go in yours often as youâre always in Natâs. You sat on your bed letting out all your emotions, crying into your hands as the realization hit you, sheâs gone. She broke up with you like you meant nothing to her. The rest of the night was spent crying into your pillow as you were left alone. Whenever youâd cry Nat was always there to hold you, but not this time. This time she wasnât there at all. The next morning you got ready and went down to Fury. It was hard to get dressed and put on a happy face but you were determined to show Nat what she was truly missing out on. Going to the SHIELDS department you requested to see the older man, insisting it was urgent. The lady let you into his office and you sat down on the chair in-front of him.
âI hear there is urgent news miss Y/L/N but it sure doesnât look urgent.â He says, sitting back in his chair ready to listen to whatever you had to say. You had a close bond with him, he was like a dad to Nat so he softened up to you over time.
âI would like a mission.â You stated with no hesitation in your voice. He looked at you for a moment until he sighed and looked at a folder.
âThe only mission at the moment is one that Ms. Hill is going on. You can join her or wait for another.â You considered your options, going with Maria or having to see Nat longer. You chose the first, knowing you wouldnât be able to look at Nat after yesterday.
Two hours later you both were getting situated on the quinjet getting ready to leave.
âSo, you gonna tell me why you took this mission out of the blue or do I have to assume that you just love me so much.â Maria broke the silence, a sarcastic smile on her face. You scoffed jokingly and answered her question.
âWell me and Nat kind of broke up yesterday. She said I was too young for her and I guess I just canât stand to look at her right now.â You tried your best to not let your voice crack but it did. Maria picked up on it and let out a sigh, pulling you into her to give you a hug.
âSheâs probably just going through some things right now, she most likely didnât mean it. And hey, if she doesnât want you Iâm always here.â She gave you a wink and you laughed at her actions.
âSee I already got you laughing again, point 1 to Maria and 0 to Nat.â Smiling at her in appreciation you went over to the control pad and pressed the auto-fly button. You sat down in a seat next to her and she looked over at you with a little grin marking her face. You blushed and looked away from her gaze. Usually Nat would be pissed if she saw you with Maria knowing how the woman loved to flirt with you, but she wasnât here right now. You didnât have to worry about her anymore because as she said, itâs over.
Back at the compound Nat was failing to make breakfast for you. The toast was basically burnt and so was the eggs, the pancake wasnât even fully cooked but she tried. She was walking to your room with everything in her hands, planning to apologize and explain everything. Her heart shattered when she saw the ring you were going to give her. She didnât mean to take out her frustration on you but she did and she canât go back now. Last night she spent staring at your empty side of the bed, a strand left on the pillow from the morning before. She remembers your happy face telling her all about the plans, you only wanted to do it because neither of you got much of a childhood. It broke her to think she took your biggest fear and used it against you, she took out her own insecurities onto you.
Knocking on the door she waited for a response, and then waited some more. Figuring you were asleep she opened the door herself. When seeing the empty bed she looked in the bathroom but it was also empty. Putting the plate of food down she went around the entire compound looking for you. She called Fury asking if heâs seen you only to hear that you went on a mission. She was glad you werenât alone until Fury said you went with Agent Hill. She cursed and hung up the phone pacing around the room. She pictured the worst that could happen to you, what if you got hurt? What if Maria finally made a move on you knowing youâre single? God she was an idiot, how could she let you go?
Back with you and Maria the two of you were quietly entering a run down building. You both heard small chatter and made a plan, you go behind she goes in front. You snuck around the building without causing any noise while Maria stayed where she was. The both of you were about to move in until you saw someone sneaking behind your teammate. You yelled out to her only to realize your mistake, the guys all heard you and Maria turned around only to be hit with a needle to her neck. You tried everything you could to take them down but it was no use, there was thirteen of them against one of you. They held you down as the same man took a different needle and stuck it in your neck just like he did moments ago with the other.
You awoke only to find yourself locked up in some, cage? It looked like a cell with how large it was but it had the same features as a cage. You heard noises coming from the left of you, looking only to spot Maria in an identical box.
âLook whoâs finally awake.â Said one of the buff men. He chuckled with his friends as they all stared at the two of you. Youâve never been stuck in a situation like this where you had no hope of leaving. You noticed your ear piece was missing only to find them messing with it. You could slightly hear voices coming from the communication source until they destroyed it right in front of you.
âNow, shall we have some fun?â The man grabbed you had no choice but to comply. Maria yelled through her gag as she watched you be taken away to be dealt with. She prayed she could get out of this and save you before anything happened. She analyzed the place to find something that could get her out but came up empty handed. She didnât want to give up but there was no hope, she could already hear your screams from a distance and there was no way out, this was how you would die.
Twenty-two minutes passed and each second your screams got louder and louder. She didnât want to cry in front of these guys but she couldnât help it, her friend was most likely going to be dead in the next few minutes. The building slightly shook as everyone looked around to see what caused it, only for a red suit of armor to come flying through the roof. They all pulled out their guns as they started to shoot only to be attacked with a shield from behind. She saw a black suited figure running towards your voice, Nat. Gun shots rang throughout the building as did arms and fists, one by one the bad guys were dealt with. Maria felt someone taking off her gag and handcuffs only to see it was Steve doing so. She was helped onto the quinjet as you were passed out on a chair. When Nat found you she couldnât take her eyes off of you, not because of your beauty but this time because of what marked your body. Bruises and cuts were left all over and she could only imagine what happened to you. She saw the man fleeing and told the Wanda to go find him, she wanted him to pay for what he did to you. She untied you and carried you bridal style to the quinjet. When everyone was in and safe they took off, she laid you down and immediately went to Maria.
âWhat the fuck were you thinking? Letting Y/N go on this mission with you and then not even protecting her?â Nat yelled in the agents face, clear pain and regret written on her face. Maria felt terrible about what happened to you but she knew she wasnât to blame.
âYouâre blaming me? All mission I did my best to protect her from anything but she got hurt because she wanted me to live! She was unselfish, something you wouldnât be able to understand.â Nat was going to speak but she didnât let her.
âShe wanted to go on this mission to get away from you, to prove that she wasnât just a child. If anything itâs your fault for using their insecurities against them and breaking up with them! And guess what, if theyâre dead, itâs on you. Not me, not anyone else but you.â Nat started at her as she spoke, realizing that she was in fact correct. If you died itâs on her, if you died you wouldnât get to do all the fun stuff that she called childish. No matter how much she hated to cry in front of others she couldnât stop it, she bursted into tears over your barely breathing body. She whispered apologize into you knowing you wouldnât hear them. When the quinjet arrived she rushed you to the med bay and Cho immediately went to work, pushing everyone out of the room so she could operate. Nat sat in the waiting room panicking and wondering if you would make it. Hours and hours went by and she was the same, back hunched, leg bouncing, hands near her mouth and a worried face. Over time the others left until it was just her, she replayed everything in her mind. From the fight, to the ring, to the crying, and to now where you were on an operating table and she sat hoping youâd make it. Even if you didnât forgive her she just wanted you to know how sorry she truly was, she wanted you to know that she didnât mean it. Dr. Cho came out of the room and Nat stood up at the speed of light,
âIs she going to be okay doc?â Came Natâs voice. She studied the ladies face for any sign that you may still be alive.
âSheâs going to be alright Ms. Romanoff.â Nat let out a sigh of relief before the Doctor continued, âAlthough sheâs lucky she made it, if you arrived any later I donât think Iâd be delivering good news. You may see her whenever but it may take a few hours until she wakes up.â Nat thanked the woman repeatedly and ran into the room seeing you asleep with wire hooked to you. She sat down on the chair next to you and held your hand.
âIm so sorry Y/N, I didnât mean any of it. I was just mad and angry and I took that out on you when I shouldnât have. I promise you that once you wake up, weâll build the best little gingerbread house and bake the most delicious cookies known to man kind. We can even listen to Christmas movies while we decorate the compound. And then we could watch those Christmas movies and go see the tree in the city. Iâll do anything to make this the best Christmas you ever had, I promise you that.â She kissed the back of your hand and enclosed her own with yours, holding your hand as she fell asleep next to you.
When you awoke you looked over to see Nat sleeping soundly against the chair, you couldâve laughed at her snoring. You whispered out her name and she quickly woke up to see you staring back at her. She smiled and gave you a big hug, only stopping when she heard you wince. She spewed out more apologies as you lightly chuckled at her concern. She stood up more straight and prepared to explain everything.
âLook Y/N,-â she was cut off by your small pained voice,
âI know.â âYou know what?â She asked, hoping you possibly heard her last night.
âI know now what you mean, Iâm not mature enough. I tried proving myself with the mission but look where I ended up, with you saving me. I mean all those people were right, Iâm too young to be dating someone like you, someone with experience. So Iâm sorry for going on the mission and Iâm sorry for suggesting those holiday things, it was stupid of me.â You ended with a sad smile looking down at your lap. Nat didnât understand why you were apologizing, it was her fault that you ended up like this.
âBaby, you shouldnât be apologizing. If anyone should be itâs me, I took out my anger on you that day when I shouldnât have. All you wanted to do was make this year something to remember and I messed it up. I shouldnât have used your insecurities against you and I shouldnât have broken up with you. I was stupid and afraid, afraid because I was falling for you. My whole life Iâve been taught that love is for children but itâs not, you made me realize that itâs not just for children and it scared the hell out of me. When I found out you were captured and being tortured I thought that our last time seeing one another would be when I yelled at you and I didnât want that to be your last memory of me. I swear that I will do everything I can to make it up to you, if you let me?â She sounded so vulnerable that it made you want to forgive her right on the spot, but you wanted her to work for it. You wanted to see how far sheâd really do for you.
âIâm willing to give you another chance but this is the only second chance youâll receive. If you mess up again I wonât forgive you.â âOf course! Iâm not going to let you down this time.â She exclaimed, already thinking of the ways to prove how much she truly loved you.
Weeks went by and all Nat did was show how much she truly cared for you, tending to your wounds, baking together, decorating the compound, going to see the tree in NY, and watching all the Christmas movies you wanted. When Christmas arrived you both were like happy little kids opening up all your presents, Nat even buying you your own promise ring while she still wears the one you got her. Later that evening you both are sat in the bathtub soaking one another in. Nat plays with your finger as you wear the ring she gifted you.
âI love you so much.â It was out of the blue but Nat meant it, she meant every âI love youâ that she told you.
âI love you too Nat.â You said with your head rested on her large bicep. She loved flexing her muscles around you knowing how much you admired them. You turned your body around so you straddled her lap and put your head on her neck. You gave light kisses to her body as you ran your hands up and down her muscular form, going from her arms to her abs. You could feel her dick growing hard under you, making you slowly grind against her. The water moved with you as it got close to spilling onto the floor. Continuing with your kisses you sucked on her weak spot causing moans to leave her mouth.
âYou like that Nat?â Her answer was a small whimper, you stilled slightly at the noise. Sheâs always been one to top so it was the first time you ever heard a noise like that come from her. You quickly recovered from your small trance and continued what you were doing moments ago, only this time slightly faster. You rubbed your core all up against her eight inch cock feeling it throb against you. Your mouth connected with hers, swallowing both of you guysâ moans. Her tongue licked at your lips asking for entrance, opening your mouth you let her explore. She held your face with one hand as the other went to your ass pushing you back and forth, causing you to grind faster. You both left each others mouths as the need for air hit, you pulled yourself off of her only to line her up with your entrance. Nat threw her head back as your warm walls enclosed around her tip while you let out a groan. You slowly lowered yourself to take more of her until you were at the base. Both of you put your heads together as you started to ride her, going at a moderate pace to get used to her size. No matter how many time you guys have had sex it still surprised you with how big she really was. Water splashed onto the ground as you sped up, trying to feel as much pleasure as possible.
âFuck, feel so good around me. Wanna be in you forever, wanna feel your tight walls wrap around me forever.â Her words only turned you on more, feeling your release approaching you tried to warn Nat but failed. She used one hand to rub your clit and her mouth to suck on your nipples. Everything was just too much, without warning you came around her cock. It triggered Nat into her own orgasm as spurts of cum filled you up. After a few moments your moans calmed down and you both sat there in a comfortable silence. Nat wrapped her large arms around you, engulfing you into a hug as she rested her head on the tops of yours. Neither of you wanted to let go, wanting to stay in one anotherâs embrace forever. But sadly you couldnât stay in the bath forever, Nat picked you both up and dried you off. You both wore matching pajamas and cuddled as you drifted off to sleep. Even if you two had your ups and downs you were always able to find one another again.

Day 06 | Track 06: âBaby Itâs Cold Outsideâ by Dean Martin
You thought when your aunt offered up their cabin for a winter getaway it sounded like a great idea. A much needed vacation for the group of you older kids. To be away from Hawkins and the young ones and just be kids yourselves again for a little bit.Â
As you watched the sky turn darker, purple tint falling across everything as the white snow fell in what seemed like heapfuls, itâs only mission in life to attack and annihilate the planet, you started to think it was actually the start of a terrible horror movie.Â
So far, you were the only one there, your parents dropping you off on their way to their own vacation. You let the curtain fall in front of the window as you searched the cabin, deciding that knowing where extra blankets, candles, and the liquor cabinet was located were all becoming drastically more likely to be of use.Â
You were pulling on another sweater and wool socks when the phone rang and you ran to it, sliding a little on the cabinâs wood floors, answering it breathlessly, âHello?â
Static filled the other side and you tried again, âHello?â
âOh! Y/N! Thank god!â Robinâs voice was crackling and you pushed the phone closer to your ear like that would help.
âRobs, I can barely hear you-â more static that made you pull back a little.
âSteve and I are stuck in a little town not too farâŚâ static took over her words, trailing in and out of a coherent sentence, âmotel. Eddie shouldâŚâ and then the line went dead.Â
Eddie should what? Should have been here by now? Was she going to say shouldnât have and then what?
Your fingers started to itch as you realized the phone was completely dead, no static or dial tone. You looked around and the lamps you had clicked on were all out.
Oh shit. Totally a horror movie.
Glad you had in fact located extra candles, you started to light them as the cabin started to fall into darkness and then you heard a loud bang and froze.Â
You were alone in a cabin, stuck in a snowstorm with no transportation, and the power went out. You were the idiot who got killed off first and all of your friends would still come up the following day, unsure of what happened and get sucked into the plot of the movie, all running from whoever or whatever got you first.
You grabbed the closest thing to you as you heard the thudding get louder, the door swung open and you lunged towards the figure in the door who was screaming right back at you.
Hands up in the air and large brown eyes blinking at you and you stopped, a box of macaroni noodles suspended in the air as you tried to catch your breath. It was just Eddie.
You threw the box of noodles at him anyways, âDonât do that! I could have killed you!â
Eddie had his hand over his heart, catching his own breath, but he caught the box with a lopsided grin on his face, âWith uncooked pasta?â
You crossed your arms, the sudden chill he let in reminding you that you didnât have heat anymore and frowned, âShut up.â
Eddie looked around at the candles and his smile fell, âFucking hell. Do we not have power?â
You shook your head, âJust went out. Robin called me and-â
âAre they okay? I lost them when we stopped for gas, Steveâs little BMW should not be driving in that shit.â
You nodded and moved your way to the living room, âYeah from what I could hear, it sounded like they stopped at a motel. So just us tonight I think.â
Eddie smirked as he removed his snow covered outer layers, pushing a duffle bag across the floor.Â
You looked at the unlit fireplace and asked, âWhat? Whatâs so funny?â
Eddie laughed as he hung up his coat, âOh just Harrington and Buck stuck in a snowstorm in a tiny motel room. I feel like Iâd pay money to watch how that all unfolds, arguing over TV channels, sides of the bed, all that,â he came over to the fireplace, âPlus, you know, weâre definitely living the plot of a horror movie.â
You groaned and rubbed at your cold cheeks, âDonât say that, I was already thinking that before you got here. Iâm the first dumb girl to go.â
Eddie started to poke around in the fireplace and chuckled, âNah, youâre the first girl. Youâre the one who makes it out in the end. Movie ends with you covered in the blood of some crazy monster or serial killer that you defeated in some revenge plot for killing yourâŚâ
He trailed off and you tried to calm your heart down, because Eddie saying you were the badass who lived in a horror film over everyone may have been a throwaway comment to him, but for you it was the greatest compliment and you were swooning a little.Â
His tongue was out as he concentrated on lighting the logs when the familiar woosh of the flame catching filled the small cabin and his lips fell into a smug and confident smile, you had to turn away from how cute he was. You grabbed all the extra blankets you could find and dumped them in front of the fireplace. He looked at the blankets, the fireplace and then around at all of the candles before his eyes landed on you. Both of you turning away from the other quickly, him mumbling something about changing.Â
You tried not to focus on Eddieâs movements as you unrolled your sleeping bag, tucking more blankets into it and over it. As he left and walked down the hall, you took the liberty of unfolding his sleeping bag and went down the hall to change yourself.Â
Shivering from being away from the fire for only a few minutes, you returned to find Eddie starting to zip into his sleeping bag, a plain sweater and sweatpants, you had never seen him so casual before, like his layers of defense were gone.Â
You tucked yourself in and no matter how you rearranged the blankets, you were freezing.Â
You listened as Eddie was doing the same, and you were fairly certain he could hear your teeth chattering.
âY/N?âÂ
You rolled to see only his big brown eyes blinking at you, the flames of the firelight flickering in them and his nose poked out, a little pink. You shook from your shivering and he closed his eyes before blowing out his breath, âOkay, Iâm totally not trying to be a perv, but would you want to share sleeping bags? I feel like it would help.â
You knew he was right, but the thought of you and Eddie sharing a sleeping bag was overwhelming. But as your teeth clinked together you found yourself nodding. He slowly unzipped his and you crawled in, careful to keep your arms from drifting past his elbows and facing him, chests and legs pressed together but both of you rigid against the otherâs body.Â
You pulled your sleeping bag and the blankets around you both and already it was better, the heat from the fire on your forehead and Eddieâs breath on your cheek. You pressed your hands tighter, curling up against his chest and looked up at him through your lashes, whispering, âIs this okay?â
He nodded and cleared his throat, arm wrapping around your waist, âThis?â
You nodded and took a deep breath, the scent of Eddieâs soapy laundry detergent filling your nose and making you a little dizzy, nose pressed to his collar.Â
You inched a little closer, risking the movement of your legs tangling in his a bit, pressing your cheek to his chest and listened to his heart beating rapidly underneath it. You smiled at the thought of him being just as nervous as you and wrapped one of your arms around his waist too, fingers touching the skin on his lower back where his shirt had raised a little.Â
He sucked in his breath and you started to pull away, âSorry, too cold or-â
He pulled you closer, âNo! I mean,â his cheeks were pink, and he cleared his throat again, âNo, just surprised me. Itâs good. Itâs nice.â
He was babbling and you scooted closer again. Listening to the fire crackle, Eddieâs heartbeat and breathing slowing, you felt your eyelashes fluttering together. You started to move your fingers up and down Eddieâs spine and he hummed a little, arms wrapping around you tighter.
His own fingers were buzzing small circles into your lower back and you shivered, and didnât argue when Eddie whispered, âStill cold?âÂ
You felt him pull your arm away and before you could protest at the lack of contact, he was rolling you, back to his chest and curling you into him, both of his arms wrapped around you and your legs tangled together.Â
His breath on your neck and close to your ear as he whispered, âBetter?â
You gasped at the heat of his breath on your skin and nuzzled back into him as you nodded. His fingers splayed across your stomach and thigh and you pushed your hips back into him. Your skin was buzzing with electricity, Eddieâs breath in your ear doing something to you that youâd never felt before. You were on the verge of making a needy, whimpering noise when you felt his hardening length pressing into your ass.
You rolled your hips back into him slowly and he nudged against you, fingers continuing to leave a buzzing trail on your stomach and through the layers on your hips. His breath continued to fan up and down your neck. A teasing game you were playing, your hips rocking into him like it could be an accident, him nudging back against you, but the more you kept doing it, you both knew it was on purpose. Bodies slowly pushing closer together and hips rolling against one another. Your heartbeat pounding in your chest and underwear growing wetter as you both slowly grinded into each other.
His nose nudged just under your ear, his lips grazing your skin and your hand laced itself into his, and you arched your back into him, pulling his fingers to your waistband.
You pushed his hand past the layers, thick fingers sliding through your slick easily and you shivered against him, guiding his other hand to your hip and rocking against his fingers moving up and down through your wetness.Â
You heard him whisper so quietly, that if his mouth hadnât been directly behind your ear you wouldnât have heard him, âfuck me, is this really happening?â
You giggled and wrapped your fingers back into his hair, pulling him to your neck harder, his lips traveling up and down it. You moaned as he nipped at your skin before sucking a bruise into you as his fingers pushed into you deeper.Â
Removing his lips from the new mark and trailing down your jaw, he whispered into your skin, âYou know, I think I read somewhere that if you take your clothes off, your bodies can-â
You started to pull down your bottom half layers and you felt his fingers still and you grabbed his wrist, pushing him to keep moving and he started babbling into your neck, âOh my-fuck, okay, you sure?â
You laughed and pushed yourself into his erection, rolling your hips as his fingers continued to glide through your folds, not sure what else to show him how you wanted this desperately so you said, âYes, Eddie. Gonna take your pants off now orâŚ?â
He nodded into your neck, shimming his sweats down, and you shivered as he slid between your thighs, both of you a little breathless. He reached up and turned your chin, eyes wide and concerned and you knew he was going to be sweet and ask you if you were sure again.
You rolled your eyes and pressed your lips to his and you felt him relax, sighing into your mouth. He pulled away and brushed the hair from your neck, pushing his tip through your folds and into your entrance slowly.
Eddie pushed deeper, both of you gasping at how your walls clutched him tighter, his fingers splayed across your hip, digging into your skin and dragging you up and down slowly and to your delight, he whined into your ear.Â
Bodies slowly grinding together, Eddieâs hips rocking up into you, his breath hot on your neck and ear, his hand squeezed your hip once more before trailing up your side till he reached your chest, cupping one of your breasts.
Your eyelids were fluttering closed, the feeling of Eddie sliding in and out of you slowly as his breath buzzed into your skin was sending you into a euphoric state. Eddie pressed more kisses into your neck as his hand traveled back down your stomach.
âFuck, baby, Iâm not gonna last,â he gasped against you and you whined, arching your body away from him, needing more and also already feeling like it was too much.Â
Eddieâs fingers pulled some of your slick up and to your clit, pressing soft figure eights into it as his hips started to thrust up into you faster, pulling your leg over atop his, spreading you wider for him.Â
You clutched the blankets, the arousal and tension that had been building for too long threatening to snap, âEddie, please, fuck!â You didnât even know what you were begging for, wanting him to slow down and go faster all at once.Â
He gripped your hip as his other hand worked faster into your swollen bundle of nerves, his thrusts hitting that spongy spot deep inside of you and his breath was hot in your ear as he groaned, âI know, come on, let go for me baby.â
His voice in your ear was the tipping point of no return, his thrusts started to stutter as you screamed out his name, his lips and nose nudging down your neck as his finger continued to swirl and press into you softly. Your orgasm crashing into you both at the same time, tightening around him as you cried out and his hot ropes of cum painted your walls. Both of you were breathless, panting against one another.Â
Eddie kissed your neck and laughed a little, âNow is definitely when the killer comes in.â
You smacked his hip, âEddie!â
You felt his smile against your neck as his arms wrapped around you tighter, despite you being as close as you could be still, and he whispered, âDonât worry, Iâll protect you.â
His lips brushed down to your collar, fingers tracing soft circles on your bare hip and his nose nudged at your shirt, whispering, âI really did read something about keeping warm without clothes on,â his lips brushed up to your ear again and he squeezed his arm around your waist as he whispered, âItâs only going to get colder outside, baby.â

My Love Mix Up TH Ep 7 Stray Thoughts
Last week, Atom and Kongthap navigated what dating might look like for them, and managed to have their first movie date, and a date up a mountain to make a romantic wish. Atom got some romantic advice from a new tutor/teacher, but we left at a potentially homophobic moment when that teacher spotted them together on the mountain. Meanwhile, Mudmee spent much of the episode frustrated with Half for not remembering moments that made her like him.
I feel like this dude has no real authority to ask about their relationship outside of school.
Oh, he told their moms. See, this is kinda fucked up because part of why Iâm not a teacher anymore is that I was told that it is a requirement under the law that I report on homosexual behavior by students to their parents.
A homophobia fakeout again from GMMTV. đ I donât think this shit is funny.
Every time they undercut the real world homophobia they make Atom look paranoid. Itâs a terrible choice to have him be concerned about how people might perceive him when this show keeps making it seem like his instincts are wrong.
Nice save, Half.
Okay, this chocolate lava cake looks good.
Finally, Aungpao is back.
ManâŚI donât think they way they built to this breakup at all. Queer people have real reasons to protect themselves and choose who they want to be out with, and I donât think this show has earned this plotline at all.
Fourth is good at expressing sadness.
Poor Mudmee. She and Half have had such an awkward, bumpy road. At least they finally made some more progress.
This scene with the kids should play humorous, but it's just Atom's fault he's lonely?
Oh, Papang is here to prove once again that he can build chemistry with anyone.
I hope they do a heavy handed explanation to explain Atom of they want these two to reconcile in this episode.
Man, they really just stumbled all over the sexual awakening and dealing with how that affects how others perceive you beats.
You just knew they were going to shove a musical moment into this once karaoke got mentioned.
This whole Don't Say Gay thing is driving me up the wall. It's affecting the stories in a way I find super uncomfortable. I'd rather bubble shows not allude to any kind of homophobia if they don't want it in their worlds. I hate when they make a character worry about homophobia only to make them look "silly." It's offensive, and it makes the characters feel deeply unreal. I'm losing touch with this romance as a result.
It feels like they didn't want to retread on homophobic teachers since they did it in MSP, but I don't like the choice they went with here at all.
I will be dropping this show. I find that I hate everything it has to say, and I wish the cast and crew success in future endeavors.
Kieta Hatsukoi Comparison: Feels like they wanted to merge the source material but where Aoki's sister is a pastry chef with this senior, and then used Valentine's Day as the romantic stand in for Christmas. As mentioned last week, we're diverging heavily from the source material at this stage, so I'll leave that off.

Is it too early to talk about Christmas?? As a mother Iâd say YES! Keep that money hungry stress filled holiday away! As a fic writer đ hehehe welllll imagine with me⌠if you willâŚ
Tommy, who has never cared much for the holidays⌠He didnât have the best home life, his adult life was filled with hiding and lying about himself and sadness⌠and loneliness⌠until Evan, of course.
Evan who loves the holidays! Evan, who convinced him to do a couples costume for Halloween. Evan, who convinced Tommy to host thanksgiving at his house, so he could get to make the bird this year. Heâs never had a big enough place to host⌠and yeah they arenât living together, but like Tommy could say no to that face (we know that face).
Evan who has been Holly jolly mistletoe and reindeer since Black Friday (honestly since the Christmas decor hit the shelves it just came out in full force after thanksgiving)
And Tommy tried to keep up. Truly⌠he did. He tried to slap on the best smile and be cheery and merry and have the holiday spirit. Itâs not like heâs the grinch⌠or Scrooge⌠he just⌠He doesnât get it.
And Evan picks up on it so quick⌠Tommy feels terrible! He stops requesting holiday movies, or activities... but the kicker is when Tommy finds out about the 118 toy drive through Lucy who is helping out at the sister station.
âBaby, why didnât you tell me about this?â He asks.
Evanâs face goes red and he bites his lip. âWellâ I know itâs not really your thing⌠Christmas, I mean⌠and I get that, I swear I do. I just didnâtâ I knew you would come if I asked⌠and I didnât want to pressure youâŚâ
Tommy melts. Absolutely melts. He pulls Evan into his arms and kisses him. âWhat time should I be there?â
And when he arrives and they come to him in need of a Santa â Evan was the original choice but he is currently occupied with activities. Apparently the Christmas spirit finds (and possesses) him because he agrees. Which is where Evan finds him shortly after. Jee clinging giddily to his hand. His eyes light up when he meets Tommyâs â who is doing his best to make the impression believable. The kids are buying itâ well most of them.
âHey Tommy!â Jee says as she climbs up onto his knee.
âUhâ oh no, little girl, Iâm not Tommy,â he says, and has to bite his jaws to stop from joining in Evanâs laughter.
Jee tilts her head, confused. âBut you look like Tommy,â she says.
âYou know what⌠come to think of it, I actually have got that a lotâŚâ he says and adds in a, âHohohoâŚâ laugh that has Evan covering his mouth with his hand to muffle a snort.
Jee goes on to tell him what she wants for Christmas and he spends about an hour talking with other children; all the while he keeps catching Evan staring at him with this awestruck look. He actually has a really good time that day⌠catches Evan under the mistletoe every chance he gets⌠and it doesnât automatically make Tommy love Christmas. But he is 100% sure he loves Evan⌠and if that means dipping his toes in new things he didnât care for before heâs willing to do so.
#911 abc#bucktommy#tommy kinard#evan buckley#christmas in july#because of course I am thinking of Christmas in July#random thought while Iâm roasting in my car for work#but also just canât not think about these two in every scenario every season every secondddd of ever day! đ

California Dreamin' - Eddie Munson
Chapter Six - Everywhere (Part Two)
Content warnings: almost first kiss, talk of sexual experiences and relationships, Eddie has a nightmare, comfort, lots of reassurance!! Continued from last chapter!
01:25AM
The living room is lit by the light of the flickering tv screen. Everyone is asleep except Eddie, who blankly watches the TV and occasionally glances at Nina. Ninaâs eyes flutter open.Â
Nina: (hushed) âEddie? What are you doing awake?â Eddie: [shrugging, quiet] âToo wired to sleep yet.â Nina: [looking around the living room at everyone passed out on the couch, yawning, voice soft] âI didnât even realise I fell asleep.â Eddie: âItâs okay.â [smirking] âYour snoring is terrible though.â Nina: [gaping] âI so do not snore!â Eddie: [teasing] âYou so do.â Nina: âDo not!â Eddie: âYou do! Like this.â [he does an exaggerated snore, Nina gapes more, blushing] Nina: [pouty, tired] âYouâre so mean to me.â Eddie: [softening] âItâs cute, donât worry.â Nina: [blushing] âThanks.â [looking around, rubbing her eyes tiredly] âWell, Iâm awake now, what do you want to do?âÂ
Eddieâs mind raced, there were lots of things they could do, he thought. He blinked away his dirty thoughts and returned back to the conversation.Â
Nina: âWe could get to know each other a bit better?â Eddie: [smiling brightly, dimples showing] âSure. Erm⌠whenâs your birthday?â Nina: âMarch 3rd. Iâm a Pisces baby.â Eddie: [teasingly] âHippie.â Nina: âAnd yours?â Eddie: âAugust 27th.â Nina: [rolling her eyes] âLeo, so obvious.â Eddie: [laughing] âFavourite food?â Nina: âMeal or snack?â Eddie: [grinning] âBoth.â Nina: [smiling] âItalian food, I love any kind of pasta. And cookies.â Eddie: âWhat kind of cookies?â Nina: âChocolate chip, obviously. You?â Eddie: âMexican, fajitas specifically, and pretzels.â Nina: âStarters or Dessert?â Eddie: [grinning] âBoth.â [Nina rolls her eyes, smiling] Nina: âFavourite movie?â Eddie: âEvil Dead, or The Muppets Movie.â [Nina raises her eyebrow, Eddie blushes, grinning] âItâs a good movie!â [Nina shakes her head, laughing] âWhatâs yours?â Nina: âOooh, either the Lost Boys or Alien!â Eddie: [nodding his head] âImpressive. Favourite band?â Nina: âOh, too hard, ask an easier question.â Eddie: âCome on! Give me a top five.â Nina: âHmm, okay.â [She shuffles on her legs to get comfy, sitting cross legged face to face with Eddie] âIn no order, Fleetwood Mac, obviously, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.â [Eddie smiles a wide smile, heart beating loudly in his chest] âThat good enough for you?â Eddie: [smirking] âSabbath, yes, Aerosmith, no.â Nina: [mock offence] âHow dare you! Steve Tyler is a god!â Eddie: [cheeky] âAerosmith suck.â Nina: âThey do not!â [looking at Eddie] âYour hair is a bit like Steve Tylerâs, actually.â Eddie: [sassy] âI resent that.â [Nina rolls her eyes, smiling. Eddie: still sassy, flirty] âIâm gonna make you a tape, get your music back up to scratch.â Nina: [smirking] âAnd I resent that you think my music taste isnât up to scratch.â [Eddie laughs] âYouâre going to make me a tape?â Eddie: [shy] âI mean, I donât have to, I was just-â Nina: âNo, no, that sounds nice. Iâd like that. Your top five?â Eddie: âMetallica, obviously, MotĂśrhead, Dio, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest.â Nina: âFavourite book.â Eddie: [chuckling] âLord of the Rings, being the nerd that I am.â [scratching his neck, awkward] âI used to love most fantasy books. I donât tend to read much anymore, to be honest.â Nina: âHow come?â Eddie: [uncomfortable] âI donât know really⌠I just fell out of love with it. I used to read loads a few years ago but after the⌠accident, I kinda stopped reading.â Nina: âYou should start again. I have some I can lend you.â Eddie: [hopeful] âYeah?â Nina: [smiling] âYeah. Favourite season?âÂ
Eddie: âFall. You?â Nina: âSummer. I was not made for the cold. But I love Christmas! Itâs my favourite time of the year.â Eddie: âFavourite colour?â Nina: âGreen. Like, forest green, not light green.â Eddie: [flirty] âDefinitely a hippie.â Nina: âShut up. Yours?â Eddie: âMine is black.â Nina: âCliche, so obvious.â Eddie: [copying her, smirking] âShut up.âÂ
Nina: âFavourite memory?âÂ
Eddie: [thoughtful] âOoh, thatâs a hard one. Probably Wayne and Iâs first Christmas. He got me my first guitar, I was so happy I cried, it was very lame. Yours?âÂ
Nina: âHmm⌠not sure Iâve had it yet. But if I had to pick, Iâd say the surprise birthday party I had when I was ten. My Mom got my friends and I surfing lessons, thatâs how I got into surfing.âÂ
Eddie: (curiously) âAre you close with your mom?âÂ
Nina: [uncomfortable] âI used to be. Not so much anymore. What about you, you live with your Uncle, right?âÂ
Eddie: âYeah, weâre close. He took me in when my Dad was being a piece of shit, heâs like the dad I never had.â [insecure] âSometimes I worry Iâve let him down.âÂ
Nina: âWhy do you think that?âÂ
Eddie: (dryly) âRepeating senior year three times and dealing drugs isnât exactly what Iâd call being the perfect son. Or nephew.âÂ
Nina: (smiling) âYouâre doing your best. Thatâs all anyone can do.âÂ
Eddie: âWhy are you like that?âÂ
Nina: (confused) âLike what?âÂ
Eddie: âSo⌠chill. Like nothing phases you.âÂ
Nina: [shrugging, laughing] âIâve seen a lot of shit in my time, Iâve just learned to roll with the punches.â [changing the topic, feeling the tension] âAsk me something else.âÂ
Eddie: [nervous] âFirst kiss?âÂ
Nina: [laughing at the memory] âJacob Kirby, 14 years old, at lunchtime detention.â [smirking] âIt certainly livened my day up.âÂ
Eddie: [trying to hide his jealousy, changing the topic] âWhat were you in detention for?âÂ
Nina: [bashful] âLucy Richardson hit me in the face with a netball so I tripped her over.âÂ
Eddie: [teasing] âBrutal, you hypocrite, here you are calling me a bully and you were a bigger bully than I am.âÂ
Nina: [mouth wide, mock offence] âI was not! She had it coming anyways, she was a bitch.â [blushing] âWhen was your first kiss?âÂ
Eddie: [embarrassed] âSeven minutes in heaven, Steveâs house party, 17 years old, Diana Roberts. It was hell.âÂ
Nina: [laughing] âWhat! How?âÂ
Eddie: [scratching his neck awkwardly] âI was nervous as fuck. I didnât know what to do so I shoved my tongue down her throat. Wasnât a pleasant experience.âÂ
Nina: [wrinkling her nose, laughing] âGross. I hope your technique has improved since then.â [Eddie flushes] âFirst girlfriend?âÂ
Eddie: [red faced, panicked] âIâve actually never had one.âÂ
Nina: [shocked] âSeriously?âÂ
Eddie: [uncomfortable, shrugging] âNot many people queuing up to date the freak of Hawkins.âÂ
Nina: âWow, I find that hard to believe.âÂ
Eddie: [confused] âWhat do you mean?âÂ
Nina: [bluntly] âWell, youâre hot.â [Eddie gulps nervously] âAnd youâre a catch.âÂ
Eddie: [awkward] âYou think so?â [quietly] âI think you are too. Hot I mean, and a catch.âÂ
Nina: [coy] âI guess that works out well for me then.âÂ
Eddie: [oblivious] âWhat does?âÂ
Nina: [flirty] âMeans Iâm at the front of the queue.â [Eddieâs jaw drops, flustered, breathing shallow. Nina panics] âToo far? Sorry, I hope I havenât made you uncomfortable.âÂ
Eddie: [coughing] âNo, not at all.â [recovering slowly] âItâs nice, I mean, yeah. Thatâs nice to know. Your first boyfriend?âÂ
Nina: âJessie DeLuca. Aged 15, he was in the year above. We had the whole âchildhood sweetheartsâ thing going on.âÂ
Eddie: [curiosity getting the better of him] âWhy did you break up?âÂ
Nina: [shrugging] âJust grew apart, I guess. Weâre still friends though. I am with most of my exes.âÂ
Eddie: [jealous] âWho else?âÂ
Nina: âTommy Edwards and Michael Rhodes. I was with Tommy for two years and Michael for one. I donât speak to Michael anymore, he moved away, but I still speak- well, spoke- to Tommy occasionally.â [awkward] âI havenât really spoken to any of them since I moved here.âÂ
Good, Eddie thought bitterly.Â
Eddie: [shyly, embarrassed] âSo⌠what was your first time like?âÂ
Nina: [oblivious] âFirst time what?âÂ
Eddie: [pained] âFirst⌠time.â [Nina catches on, smiling, Eddie rushes to explain himself] âYou donât have to tell me if you donât want to, that was way too personal, Iâm so-âÂ
Nina: âDonât apologise, Iâm an open book.â [Eddie smiles] âIt was nice. It was with my first boyfriend Jessie when I was seventeen, his Mom and Dad were away for the night. It wasnât planned, it just sort of happened.â [smiling at the memory] âIt was awkward, of course, but nice.â [Eddie gulps, trying to hide his jealousy] âI think your first time should always be with someone you care about.âÂ
Eddie: âYeah?âÂ
Nina: [deep in thought] âYeah. It means more when itâs with someone special.â [Eddie looks at her, love struck, blushing] âWhat about you?âÂ
Eddie: [panicked, red in the face] âOh I uh, I actually havenât.. done it yet.â [Ninaâs mouth parts a little in shock, blinking a few times] âNot for the want of trying, I guess I just never found the right person.â [fiddling with his rings] âItâs embarrassing, really. Donât tell anyone, please.â Â
Nina: [sincere] âI think itâs nice. You should wait until itâs with someone you care about.âÂ
Eddie: [blushing, looking at Nina intensely] âYeah?âÂ
Nina: [also blushing, shying from Eddieâs loving gaze] âYeah.âÂ
Eddie: [looking down at his hands, nervous] âHow will I know Iâve found the right person?âÂ
Nina: [thoughtful] âItâll feel easy. Like two pieces of a puzzle fitting.â [looking at Eddie fondly] âAlmost like youâre thinking âwhere have you been all my life, why havenât we been doing this the whole time?ââ [looking away, bashful] âFireworks, racing heart, butterflies, all that shit, yâknow?â
Eddie: [fondly] âYeah, I know.âÂ
Eddie looks at Nina, smiling. She finally looks back at him, her heart beating hard in her chest. Her eyes flick between Eddieâs warm brown ones and his soft lips, thinking how badly she wanted to kiss them.Â
Eddie notices her looking and canât help but reciprocate. His palms sweat with nerves; itâs not his first kiss, but itâs the kiss. He looked at Ninaâs pillowy lips, thinking how soft theyâd be, what sheâd taste like; thoughts he thought about every night before bed, but this time the opportunity was in front of him.Â
Both Nina and Eddie lean into each other, their faces only a few centimetres apart. Nina looks for any doubt in Eddieâs eyes and finds none. She closes her eyes and leans further in.Â
Their lips are barely touching, Eddie inhaling deeply as he prepares himself for his first kiss with Nina. He closes his eyes, waiting for the moment their lips touch.Â
Will walks down the stairs into the living room, searching blindly for the light for the kitchen. When the light of the kitchen blinds Nina and Eddie they pull back, embarrassed.Â
Will: [awkward, shocked] âShit, sorry guys, I didnât mean to interrupt I-âÂ
Nina: [rushing off the couch] âItâs okay, Will. What do you need?âÂ
Will: [mumbled] âI was just going to get a glass of water.âÂ
Nina: âIâll get you one.â [Nina walks into the kitchen, red with embarrassment]Â
Will mouths an awkward âsorryâ to Eddie, who responds with âIâm going to kill youâ.Â
Nina: [handing Will a glass of water] âHere.âÂ
Will: [yawning] âThanks.â [walking back up the stairs] âNight guys.â [Nina says a quiet âgoodnightâ]Â
Eddie, struggling to find words and still speechless by their almost-kiss before Willâs interruption, waves at Will feebly.Â
Nina: [half-heartedly] âGuess we should get some sleep huh?âÂ
Eddie: [saddened] âSure.â [smiling at Nina] âGoodnight sweetheart.âÂ
Nina: [pulling the blanket over the two of them, top and tailed on the couch, smiling sincerely] âGoodnight, Eddie.âÂ
They turn off the lamp and lie in the dark, both afraid to breathe, until they both fall asleep.Â
05:13AM
Eddie: [asleep, sweating, tossing and turning on the couch] âNo, please, no.âÂ
Nina: [stirring from her sleep, tired] âEddie?âÂ
Eddie: (desperate, panting) âStop, please, not again!âÂ
Nina: [concerned, shifting to gently shake Eddie] âEddie, wake up, youâre having a bad dream.âÂ
Eddie: âPlease, donât hurt her, please! Stop!âÂ
Nina: [shaking him more forcefully] âEddie! Wake up!âÂ
Eddie: [now awake, wide eyed and shaking] âPlease- wait, what?â [Looking around, startled] âWhat time is it?âÂ
Nina: (softly) âJust after 5. You were having a bad dream.âÂ
Eddie: [rubbing his eyes, exhausted] âOh.â (Guilty) âI didnât wake you up, did I?âÂ
Nina: âItâs okay, donât worry.â (Concerned) âAre you alright?âÂ
Eddie: (breathless) âY-yeah, I think.â (Sadly) âIâm sorry I woke you up.âÂ
Nina: (softly) âItâs okay, donât worry. Do you want to talk about it?âÂ
Eddie: (embarrassed) âNo- no thank you.âÂ
Nina: âOkay.â [Shuffling on the couch, patting her chest] âCome here.âÂ
Eddie: (red faced, embarrassed) âWh-what?â
Nina: âLie here.â [Lifting up the blanket to allow him in] âIâm going to stroke your hair like my Mom used to until you fall back asleep.âÂ
Eddie: âReally?â (Self conscious) âIâm all sweaty.âÂ
Nina: âI donât mind. Come here.âÂ
Eddie: (struggling) âI- that side is the side with my scars. It hurts to lie on them, sometimes.âÂ
Nina: (comfortingly) âI can come to you?â [Eddie smiles and nods hopefully. She climbs off the couch and lies down next to Eddie]Â
Eddie smiles sleepily and lies beside Nina, head resting on her chest. He exhales a deep shaky breath, but feels soothed when Ninaâs nails gently scratch at his scalp and stroke his hair. She draws little circles on his shoulder with her nails and Eddie smiles happily listening to Ninaâs heartbeat in his ear.Â
Nina: (softly) âIs this okay?â Â
Eddie snores softly in response. Nina smiles, pressing a gentle kiss on his forehead, before falling asleep too.Â

SO SORRY IF THIS IS AWKWARD but i wanted to send in a writing thing đ
prompt: what if Paul and Emma swapped places with Tom in Black Friday? Like Emma is part of the doll âfeast or famineâ crowd for. Yk, the family reasons and Paul (unaffected) essentially is just running around/running into the foster sisters and whatever the hell was happening in the mall. Dude is having a terrible time as always
(If i phrased that weirdly can i just ask for paulkins interacting with the foster sisters in a casual setting please đ ty!)
yeah!!!!! love this idea sm, hope you like it :)
âYou want us to do what?â Emma slammed her coffee on the table.
âPick up a Wiggly for Tim.â Emma scoffed at Tom. Paul stood awkwardly in the corner. He didnât want to get involved, Emma was better at arguments.
âWhy would we-â
âI want to spend the holidays with my son, not waiting in line.â Tom said. Emma rolled her eyes.
âI thought we were spending the holidays together, Tom. As a family.â Tom clenched his fists.
âMy son lost his family when that car crashed. Iâve never asked anything of you ever before. Do this one thing for Me. For Tim. For Jane.â Emma looked away. After a few seconds, she walked over to Paul.
âLets go get a fucking Wiggly, I guess.â They picked up their bags.
âEmma? Where are you going?â Tim asked, poking his head into the kitchen.
âWe have to go to the hardware store to pick up a new bandsaw for your dad. Merry Christmas, Tim.â Emma slammed the door shut.
-
âThere's nowhere to parkâŚâ Emma said, driving slowly.
âThere?â Paul asked, pointing at a large spot.
âThat's where the delivery trucks dump their stuff off.â
âItâs probably fine. Let's just hurry.â They parked the car and hopped out, and began walking into the mall.
âYou canât park there.â A voice said. It was a teenager, wearing the Toy Zone uniform and smoking a cigarette. She couldnât have been older than 19. Paul blinked a few times.
âLex? Lex Foster?â He asked. She nodded.
âI used to babysit her and her sister,â Paul said to a confused Emma.
âHave you babysitted everybody in this town?â she mumbled under her breath.
âDo you know how many Wigglyâs they have left?â Paul asked. Lex sighed.
âThe store isnât even open yet. Not that it matters. People have been waiting outside for days. You'll be lucky if you even get in the store by noon.â Paul groaned.
âCâmon, let's at least see if we can⌠buy our way into line? Or something? I don't know. Let's just hurry up.â Emma walked off, dragging Paul behind her. He waved awkwardly at Lex.
âYou canât park here!â Lex called after them. They didnât hear her. âOh well.â
-
âHello? Sorry, can we cut in here for⌠uh⌠twenty bucks?â Emma said, pulling some cash from her pocket. The girl in line scowled at her. She was wearing a nursing uniform. Emma vaguely remembered her from highschool.
âHey, some people have been waiting in line for a very long time, thatâs not very fair,â a blonde lady shouted from further ahead. The nurse ignored the other customer.
âNo, you canât cut. That's bribery, and it... should be illegal.â Emma opened her mouth to retaliate, but Paul stopped her.
âEmma! Emma! Over here.â She turned. Paul was pointing to- Gary Goldstien? The attorney?
âThis is Gary. Heâs uh- my brother. Gary, this is Emma. MyâŚâ He shrugged. Emma glared at the nurse one last time and walked to where Paul was standing.
âHi Gary, nice to meet you. Can we cut you for twenty bucks?â
âSure. Iâll do it for free. Iâve a lot of favors due to Paul here for taking care of my son when I'm away,â Gary said in his nasally voice. Emma smiled at him.
âHopefully this will go by quick so we can all go home.â She muttered to Paul as they squeezed their way into line.
-
Emma tried to be quiet as the rabid customers ran by her hiding spot, the popcorn counter in the movie theater. She looked out and saw Paul skittering towards her.
âWhat the fuck was that?â He whispered, crouching down into the shadows with her. His face was ridden with sweat and panic.
âI-I donât know. Everyoneâs going crazy. Is Gary- whereâs Gary?â
âHe⌠I think⌠I think he killed a guy. I donât know whatâs happening to him- what's happening to anybody. We know these people. Theyâre not murderers.â Emma nodded.
âWe just need too-â
Something clattered to the floor. Emma shrieked, and Paul jumped up, looking around their area. He locked eyes with a young girl, who had knocked a can off of the counter on accident.
âHannah?â He asked her. She backed up against the wall.
âBad blood⌠bad bloodâŚâ she repeated it over and over again. Paul looked at Emma, who had calmed down.
âItâs Lexâs sister.â He turned back to the frightened girl.
âHannah? Itâs me, Paul. I used to babysit you. Do you remember?â He walked a little closer to her, and she whimpered, clutching her backpack.
âHannah⌠whatâs in the backpack?â
âBad. Bad. Webby says itâs bad. Heâs bad. Heâll trick you! He- heâŚâ She started crying. Emma came up to the girl and sat down next to her.
âItâs ok. Itâs ok.â She let Hannah lean on her. Emma looked in the backpack quickly.
âOh. Itâs a Wiggly.â A look came over Emmaâs face. A look Paul had never seen before. A look Paul didnât like.
âEmma?â She didnât look at him. She slowly took the bag from Hannah. The girl looked up at her with a distressed expression.
âNo! No! Bad!â Emma stood up.
âLets go Paul.â
âNo! Heâs bad! Black and White! Bad blood! NO!â She grabbed at the bag, and Emma kicked her legs.
âEmma!â Paul rushed to stand in front of Hannah. âEmma, this isnât you.â Her eyes darted around.
âTim wants this doll. He needs it. He needs it.â Paul shook his head.
âLeave the doll! We need to get out of here, get safe.â She locked eyes with him, and her gaze softened. She dropped the bag. Paul took Hannahâs hand.
âWe need to find somewhere safe. Letâs go.â
-
âEmma?â Tom jumped out of the car and rushed to her. Emma ran to embrace him, and Paul shook his hand awkwardly afterwards.
âTom, god, I'm so glad youâre here.â The mall was aflame behind them, and the few stragglers that made it out were charred and distressed. Hannah and Lex had found each other in the mall, and Paul could only hope they got out.
âIâm so sorry, Emma. I- I donât know why I sent you to get that doll. Tim doesnât even want it. Iâm gonna get him a Nintendo or something.â They all laughed, but soon a silence followed.
âI almost lost Paul in there."
"And my... my brother..." Paul looked back at the mall. He still hadn't fully processed what had happened to Gary. Maybe he got out? Paul doubted it. He'd never see his brother again. He'd have to tell Richie. He'd have to tell his friends and family that Gary had burned in the mall after beating a teenage boy to death. He looked away from the people, and squeezed Emma's hand tighter. She continued talking to Tom.
"All this stuff, people dying... friends, family... it made me start to thinkâŚTom, itâs time we sit down, as a family, and talk about Jane.â He looked reluctant, but nodded.
âIâm just glad youâre ok. Both of you. And I'm sure Tim will love spending the rest of Christmas with his Aunt. And Paul.â Paul gave him a thumbs up, wiping his eyes. If he could make it through today... he could make it to tomorrow. that is, if tomorrow even came.
A plane whooshed overhead.

âWell, I was made of snow, and now Iâm made ofâŚ.not snow.â
So I finally got to see my nephews last week and it was wonderful and theyâre so cute and I squeezed the shit out of them but my sister and I were incredibly disappointed that I ended up heading back home the day before HOT FROSTY premiered on Netflix.
Friends. I love Christmas movies (did I write a post about my favorites last year? Yes). I love TERRIBLE Christmas movies. We watched a bunch of the new Hallmark ones while the kiddos took their naps and they were awful and predictable and I love that about them. But I donât have the Hallmark channel at home, so instead, every year I get excited about the new ones my various streaming platforms have decided to cook up. Â
There are some gems out there honestly (no seriously, go read the old post) and then there are some that are on the bad side of absurd. Iâm struggling to decide where Hot Frosty lands.
Wherein, a creepily buff snowman comes to life in an idyllic small town (Ted from Schittâs Creek!!!) after a cute diner-owning widow Kathy (itâs obviously Lacey Chabert, OBVIOUSLY) wraps a scarf around his neck. Thatâs it. Thatâs the entire premise.Â
Kathy meets the snowman, who decides to call himself Jack because he stole an outfit with the name stitched on it, and then they just, do a bunch of random stuff while Jack tries not to melt? And he says he needs to keep the scarf on at all times because he thinks itâs keeping him alive but like, thatâs never tested? And sheâs trying to keep him away from the townâs Sheriff because to get the clothes heâd accidentally shattered a window to the second-hand store, and had streaked naked by an old couple while doing so, which is apparently the height of crime in this town.Â
Which means Iâm leaning more toward the bad side of absurd. But itâs worth a watch wherein youâre doing something else and itâs on in the background, mainly because:
Thereâs Craig Robinson! And Joe Lo Truglio! (The sheriff and his deputy.) And a bunch of references to other Netflix Christmas movies that were giving me life. At one point, Kathy scoffs about the idea that Jack is actually a snowman by saying âyeah and Iâm the queen of Aldoviaâ which is A Christmas Prince call out.
Later, she sets Jack up at her house to watch tv to keep him out of trouble and when she turns it on, itâs playing Lindsay Lohanâs Falling for Christmas and Kathy says something like âshe looks just like a girl I went to high school withâ which YâALL, I will take any Mean Girls reference anywhere anyday anytime I absolutely fucking love it.
They also sneak in a scene from Single All The Way into the tv background so yeah, Iâm a geek for all of that. Iâm never not gonna be charmed by random easter eggs of things I enjoy. Netflix really knows who the fuck is watching this movie. Which Iâm a little offended by. But oh well.
HEREâS the thing though. Maybe Iâm getting crotechy in my old age but like, Iâm starting to be offended by these storylines where a dude magically comes to life and then falls in love with the first girl he encounters. Like, they make it a whole thing to keep talking about how Jack has only been alive for a few days and at one point he tells her he loves her and shesâ like âyeah no thatâs not possibleâ but then at the end theyâre in love??! She also makes a big speech about how she hasnât been taking care of herself since her husband died of cancer and she canât really love anyone else until she starts loving herself but then LIKE A WEEK LATER, theyâre in love.Â
I get that this is the whole point. I get it. Bitches want Christmas magic love stories where absolutely ridiculously unrealistic things happen because that soothes us, I guess? Itâs supposed to scratch some weird thing deep in our estrogen-soaked brains? But like, Iâm finding I canât stomach it like I used to.
Is it weird that Iâd rather see them be friends for awhile? Like, why canât he come alive during one Christmas season, she decides to help him get a life together once he becomes human (even though he only became human because she kissed him, whatever we can write around that) and then after a few more Christmas seasons where they do a montage of them like being friends and working on themselves and whatever else, THEN they fall in love?
I was strangely hopeful when she gave that speech about needing to take care of herself but JUST KIDDING, YOU GUYS! You can ignore all of your problems when you meet a snowman/turned jacked dude because he somehow teaches himself how to fix your roof. Heâs handy, so everything is gonna be fine and itâs not weird at all that you guys jump into a relationship even though heâs never had A REAL LIFE before! Thatâs what gets me. Itâs like, you can have the perfect boyfriend as long as he has absolutely no other life experience and you can just encourage him to be whatever person you want.Â
Itâs not Stockholm syndrome but it kind of is? Why is this romantic, again?Â
Though I have to shout out Lacey Chabertâs eye fluttering - DAMN that girl can flutter them lashes. Like, wow.
I probably should have waited to watch this until I was in a more blissed-out-Christmas state of mind. Thatâs on me. Itâs good eye candy and itâs good for seasonal background noise and itâs KIND of cute, like itâs ALMOST cute and maybe I just wasnât in the right mood.Â
Basically, if youâre wondering if Ted from Schittâs Creek has gotten hotter, youâre in for a treat, and thatâs just gonna have to be enough (spoiler alert: he erotically helps get a car unstuck from a snowbank. Enjoy!)
I'm just glad it's that time of year again. Hello, Christmas movie season!
