- Ari, Mari and Fumiko aren’t her real sisters but she still treats and loves them as they were blood related.

- When they were small Mari was always more adored by her parents to be “ perfect “ and better than her in everything.

- One day they were practicing archery and Mari got jealous of Ari for doing something better than her for once, so she splashed a really toxic snake poison into her right eye, Mari wanted to make her blind completely but failed ( also the snake poison splashed on Ari’s skin so she has a few scars on her body ), Of course Mari regretted her actions right after but it wasn’t entirely her fault because of all her parents abuse and pressure for being perfect, she got scared of what will they think of her if they find out She’s not good enough.

- Obviously Ari’s parents didn’t care what happened to her eye and now found her more useless than she was before so they even tried to sell her to some random guy but before this happened Mari saved her and convinced her to run away.

- To this day Ari never and probably never will forgive her sister but she’s still thankful for her saving her.

Gets along with:

- Laito ( she likes his dirty mind and dirty jokes he makes sometimes, but they didn’t do it and will never do. ) Ayato ( she hates how he thinks he’s better than everyone else but still gets along with him. ) Kou ( she likes helping Yuu with Kou together and they get along very well ) Yuma.

- Shu ( loves his passion for music but other than that nothing ), Kanato ( she is okay with him but she really likes to tease him for his height and other things. ), Subaru ( he’s okay. ) Ruki ( he can be annoying to her sometimes )

dw, english is not my first language too so it's okay also you are not being rude. and yeah just like I said some people hate the "overhype" not Ayato hit this Ayato stans still convert it into ayato hate and start giving various reasons to prove their point. just like in this post. it's like if we go through other boys' contents more deeply like they did with Ayato, then we'll also find a lot of growth, development and plus traits in other characters. but nah they just wanna paint it on Ayato.

if we talk about Ayato forgiving Cordelia because he still hoped she got her feelings reciprocated, then Yuma forgiving Reiji is way more major and heavy, because we all know how bad Mukamis' experience was. and if Reiji wouldn't have burned down his whole village, Yuma wouldn't have ended on city streets, with memory loss and then you guys know the rest. orphanage was one of the most terrifying hell for them because of the war (and it's sad how it was so true) yet Yuma forgave Reiji and even wished for his happiness with Yui.

Reiji also had one of the biggest developments. he was someone with ambition but ignored and cast aside by never receiving his mother's acknowledgement. yet after meeting Yui he grew so much like, in Shu's LE route, he literally sacrificed himself to protect Yuma because he was guilty and even though Yuma already said he forgave him a long time ago why he did it, Reiji said no matter how many times Yuma forgave him, it wouldn't rid him off of his guilt and past actions. also he:

this is not even his own route! but Shu's DF route yet look at my boy. proof that Ayato is not the only one who is compassionate out of his route. and same goes for Mukami brothers, be it Sakamaki, their own family or even Tsukinami's route they are compassionate and that's really a big deal because after what happened to them, they laugh at things like "humanity" because nobody showed them such yet look at them in later games.

In other words, yes there are many reasons for Ayato stans to make Ayato the main hero because Rejet said it so but please stop putting other characters in the background, casting them aside like they didn't have it rough and are NOTHING compared to Ayato's sufferings and compassion. all of them had different environment. even triplets, ayato, laito and kanato were mistreated differently. and Laito only pushed away Ayato because of what Cordelia did to him, and remember, among vampires there is nothing like humanity and compassion that's why Laito never expected anything from any of his brothers and pushed Ayato away too. ALSO AYATO SAID IT HIMSELF IN LAITO'S DF THAT LAITO HAD IT WORSE FROM CORDELIA.

Yes Ayato probably killed Cordelia to protect his younger brothers + also what she did to him, and I really like that about him. but that didn't mean other characters didn't do anything. Carla sacrificed Shin's eye instead of giving up on his brother's life even if it meant Shin will hate him for his whole life but at least that'll still keep his little brother alive.

Ayato realised Karlheinz is the root of evil, so did Shu a long time ago but everyone have their OWN way with dealing things, and Shu just wanted a peaceful life with Yui that's why he never tried to ever mention his father or tried to face him head on. it was difficult for Mukamis to accept Karlheinz evil because he was their saviour yet they still took courage and betrayed him for the sake of evil. Reiji likes his father but in his CL good end, even he was speechless and finally had enough of his father's Adam and eve plan, rejecting the throne and taking Yui away.

Hot take incoming but Makoto is one of the characters where everybody focuses on only one of his crimes, which is arguably actually the most justified out of all his actions, while ignoring pretty much. Everything else.

Like sorry but I don't think turning people into food was That Bad considering homunculi need human meat in order to live, they literally die if they don't eat it - it's either A. no humans get killed, and in turn all of Kanai Ward dies, or B. humans die and get turned into meatbuns, and Kanai Ward gets to exist. You could argue that the defective homunculi weren't really supposed to exist anyway but like, they do now so what. Makoto is also a homunculus, of course he probably sympathizes more with the other homunculi instead of the humans (that put them there in the first place) of course he's gonna choose KW over approx. a million humans.

If that was me in that situation I'll do the same thing fuck them bun filling lmao sorry I'm not saying it would be the best choice but it's one literally most people would choose anyway because like. What can you do, it sucks, moving on.

Substitutes for human flesh are possible to create (thank you ramen guy) but it'd require him to seek help from others which would require him to tell them the truth which fuck no. Like in that regard I believe he should be allowed to kill whoever he wants actually!

What actually makes me go 🤨 about him is everything else he's doing. Or not doing - aside from providing food and rain clouds, aka only a portion the bare necessities, he's doing absolutely nothing for Kanai Ward, especially Dohya District. He lives in the most expensive looking penthouse I ever laid my eyes upon, there is so much he could do with all of his billions, like, I don't know, at least unflood the Dohya District do you remember the Dohya District it appeared once in chapter 3 I believe.

Say what you want about Yomi but he was so real for telling Makoto he's not doing shit, only ever instance in rc where the guy is like.... somewhat correct. I was about to say something else but I stopped myself because I have a healthy amount of Fear.

Apparently Makoto's love for all homunculi doesn't extend to Kurumi though, a teenage girl, after he just dumps her along with Yuma in the restricted area for no reason whatsoever, endangering her severely. He also risked her finding out she was eating human flesh for three years straight, the only reason she didn't go into the freezer was because Yuma was there to tell her there was nothing there. There was no reason for Makoto to drag her along to be the audience to his epic showdown with his DNA donor.

I'm not mad at him for that though, that was so fucking hilarious, the fuck?? What is wrong with him <3333

Since I know somebody is going to say that Yomi existing severely limits what Makoto can actually do, which is fair to some extent, but like... Was Yomi holding a gun to his head and telling him he's gonna execute the hostages if he tries to unflood Dohya? Was he? Yomi controls the peacekeepers, he doesn't control where Amaterasu money gets donated. Yomi (and by extension, the peacekeepers - Yomi is, as I see it, the personification of everything wrong with the Amaterasu Corporation cops peacekeepers anyway) can be blamed for a large portion of everything wrong with Kanai Ward, but not the entirety of it; and Makoto can't be, either. Blaming everything on Yomi is not only just wrong, but also the most boring answer possible.

Speaking of -- Makoto didn't even care about all the abuse of power Yomi was commiting the entire time. According to him, "If all Yomi did was throw his weight around, that would have been fine, but [forgot the exact phrasing, but he says him trying to leak homunculus information was where he had to step in]", so you can't even give him points for being a Yomi hater! Sad. Anyway here's how makoyomi worsties can still win

Do I dislike Makoto? No not really. I don't really care about him as much as other people tend to, but he's fun when you let him be his silly (ominous) self. The atrocities are a part of him and I decided they're funny. Actually wait I changed my mind I love him now.

Name: Kyoko Sakura

Arcanas: Hierophant, Chariot

Personas: Hippolyta, Hestia

A brash and stand-offish former member of S.E.E.S. Once a cheerful and loving person, now a selfish and aggressive delinquent. Her father unbeknownst to her, ran a cult for the Fall and spread the word of Nyx’s coming. Her father was hysterically angry at her when he learned about her being in a shadow suppression squad and opposed Nyx’s coming. When she tried to explain herself, he abandoned her and took her mother and youngest sister away.

She withdrew from school and S.E.E.S but still occasionally helps out. She only rejoins and actively helps S.E.E.S is when Yuma gets involved. When the truth of the twelve shadows became apparent, she had a lot of mixed feelings and conflicting desires as she listened to the ravings of Nyx’s followers reminding her of her family. Her dad is revealed to be in custody due to some shady dealings and the location of her mother and sister was unknown. She confronts her dad and steels her resolve to protect the people she cares about and to burn anything that dares hurt them.

PERSONAS

Kyoko’s persona is Hippolyta, of the Hierophant Arcana. Hippolyta is the daughter of the war god Ares and second queen of the amazons. Hippolyta was killed by her sister Penthesilia during a wedding ceremony between her husband Theseus and Phaedra. Hippolyta seems to have some family issues which fits Kyoko well, including her Warrior status. Hippolyta was killed by a javelin and the persona is seen wielding it. This means that the Persona is an amalgamation of the victim Hippolyta and the killer Penthesilia. Kyoko views herself responsible for her family falling apart and this is seen with the centaur like lower body. She is unable to escape her pain, literally fused with it as her last name “Sakura” shares the name of the name of horse meat and it being decorated in black and white, colours associated with grief.

Later in the story, Kyoko gains the persona Hestia, the Greek god of family and the hearth. Again, taking from a Persona 2 game Kyoko’s persona of Hestia is a symbol of becoming more comfortable in her team and dealing with her trauma. A hearth, while easily destructive as any fire, is a symbol of gathering and families. Kyoko will burn away anything that tries to hurt the people she trusts and will keep the, safe. The lantern motif of Hestia is Kyoko guiding the people around her with her more experienced lifetime and trying to giving them advice. There is no longer any mourning to do, so the black and whites of Hippolyta are dropped.

Yeah, I understand. I myself have never played the games, mostly because I'm not a gamer and I don't know where you would play it on, is it on a play station? Idk, but I do read the game translations. I've read most of Reiji's and Ruki's, a bit of Shin's, and I just started Kanato's. I have also read some things about Yuma. But anyways I have read the manga so that helps a lot. And this is a good question!

Come to think of it, I think it varies on the situation and character. I will try to give hypothetical answers for all possible situations (I'm making most of these up but I will say if it's actually canon if it happened in the games) I could think of for each character. I say this because I have seen that sometimes they kill Yui on accident, (Shin's route is a good example of this.), and then sometimes they just go crazy? Idk, I barely know what's going on anymore 😂. Rejet gives these boys too many options in these games, I literally don't know who they are anymore, lol.

But anyway. I'll list a few categories/themes and explain what I think each character feels/thinks/does. And even which themes apply to the character.

On accident;;

If she was killed by accident/how they go about their life.

Shin --It actually happened soo. It was because he was under some sort of drug or manipulation and didn't recognize the woman to be Yui but then when he did it was too late and he was pretty sad. He'd be very mad though and I can see that after this he just became a villain to anyone he met because he just doesn't are anymore. He's lost sight of himself the more time passes.

Shu -- If she died on accident he'd blame himself for the rest of his life. It'd be in a situation where he tries to protect you but while doing so you get hurt because you got in the way of who he was fighting. He'd just be even lazier, just to hide what he's feeling.

Reiji--Similar to Shu, and he'd be devastated that he didn't securely sever the link between you and the enemy in a fight which led you to die instead since he was trying to eliminate the enemy. He'd never forgive himself knowing he killed the woman he loves, it'd break him. I know he may seem like he doesn't care but I've noticed that he's pretty fragile with feelings. He may not show it but when he feels guilt it eats him alive. But he'd never try to deny that its fault, he takes full responsibility. He won't accept it if someone told him it's not his fault.

Ruki--It would be under some compulsion due to some punishment by Karlheinz for loving her. It was mentioned that vampires like him take supplements to not have a lot of hunger. So I imagine that without the supplements he is a complete monster with bloodlust which maybe the reason he'd end up murdering her (but of course he didn't willingly go off the supplements so it's not exactly his fault) With him ending the life of the very woman he loves with his bare hands is enough to have him want to erase his mind but at the same time he doesn't want to forget her. He'd beg for this to happen but it could never be granted. After such an experience he'd want to end his existence. And if he couldn't he'd move away far from everything and start over with a new name and lifestyle all over again. He'd find some distraction for a while until his aging becomes a question and then he moves and starts over again but always feeling empty no matter what.

Carla--He has many enemies so it's not surprising that she gets hurt in between. Even though he is a founder, this is something he cannot handle, he will definitely remove all memories he has of her temporarily or at least all the bad ones. And if this happens he will eventually convince himself that he didn't hurt her. But this will all come crashing down when he faces reality again, and the guilt will be very painful. He will never be the same and he may even give up his crown as he feels that everything has been lost. And he's very lost.

Azusa--He doesn't fully acknowledge how it all went down. This is probably because he's in a state of shock. He can't comprehend everything but when he does, it hurts. Azusa is a little scattered and mute to feelings but if it means a lot, his mood may change and he may blame himself for the MC dying. He will say its because he doesn't deserve her and that's why she was taken away. Whatever the case he doesn't freak out too much because I think he's sorta numb to a lot of situations.

Subaru--It would have to be that someone had a vendetta against him and his family and she happened to get caught in the cross fire. So like the games he took his life but say he didn't he'd literally just get worse. He is more miserable than he already is.

Kino--Considering he has a vendetta with Karl, the MC may get killed since it takes away something from him. If he really cares, he drops everything and no longer cares about revenge or fighting. He doesn't care anymore by that point since she's gone. He'll very miserable and may not ever forgive himself that she got involved. In fact, even if he met someone he liked or cared for he'd probably push them away and stay out of their life because he doesn't want their life to change because of the supernatural. He doesn't want to be the cause of their death. Not again.

Yuma--If he owes something but goes against a deal he has this could result in the MC/Yui dying. He'd obviously be angry no doubt. He may lose sight of himself and be a little ruthless with others. Yuma would probably get in more fights and be upset easily. He may even abandon his garden for a while, all the flowers wilting as is his mind. Yuma can only deal with it so much that even if he's tough, he is still hurt. Though he'd never express that to someone, he'd never openly admit that he cared because if he did he may just cry.

No Reason/or Consumption of madness;;

If she is killed because they went insane or they had no reason/ how they go about their life.

Ayato--He gets jealous a lot so if she gave someone else more attention and he becomes incredibly jealous he could go crazy. If this is the case he will be very mad/upset but also relieved that it's over. But he's also very annoyed, obviously, she meant nothing so he'll easily find someone else. He lives guilt-free.

Kanato--I mean think plenty of us know what he's done. He's a yandere we don't need to go into detail. However, because has special attachments the MC/Yui does still mean something to him. No one should mention her name though he becomes upset. Although he does get emotional from time to time but then is also proud that he was able to end her life.

Kou--Considering that he lets Yui get bullied I'm not surprised if she's been trampled on either or if he'd let her get nearly killed by those bullies. Maybe he would do it with his own hands but if he allows it he's obviously no good. And he definitely doesn't care. He literally finds it annoying that it happened and would be too lazy to prevent or take care of it. He doesn't feel guilty at all.

Yuma--He takes his anger out on Yui psychically and she once got involved in a fight he was in since she tried to stop it but she got hit in the process. So he probably ended up beating her to death. Considering the abuse he clearly doesn't care and so he will probably feel bored, maybe a little disappointed but he is able to carry on.

Reiji--It happened in one of the routes where he obtained his father's power and he became mad. So Karl ended up killing him.

Laito--If saw that the MC was like Cordelia he'd probably do this or if the MC meant nothing at all and he had no more purpose he will probably just discard her. And he'd just carry on about his day, like he has done with the rest of his victims.

Kino--If he didn't care for her or if she were leverage from the start he'd probably do this. He literally doesn't think what he did is a problem and is open to the fact that he did it. Has no shame that he used her at all!

Terms of Sacrifice;;

If she dies in place of them or someone/how they go about their life.

Laito--Her dying in place of saving or getting rid of the enemy especially if the enemy is his mother is a lot on him. It may not seem possible but seeing her die for something that wasn't her fight would greatly upset him. If her death did involve the death of his mother tho it would bring him relief that the woman which ruined his life is finally ashes but it's also quite overwhelming. He may not ever admit how much he feels hurt by his own mother, but this situation stirs many emotions within him. And secretly I think he'd thank Yui or MC for this because his experience of assault suffocates him still.

I know he's never understood love and he probably never will but he grew attachment and loss after losing the MC and he felt empty and partial guilt in all that he had said and done to her. He doesn't 100% acknowledge his faults or what pain he caused her but only that she deserved better than what she experienced. Gradually this guilt increases and if he shared deep secrets and emotions with her, like especially stuff about his past that his family could never understand but she could/was willing to, it would affect him a lot. He'd feel overwhelmed by the situation and would leave his brothers and he'd probably never come back. This is mostly because he doesn't want to be found. And he's no longer the same after everything.

Ruki--He can't live with that, he probably would have literally told her that. Knowing that she spared his life by giving up hers is just the worst thing he could hear. Similar to what I said before, he has a hard time dealing with it and just tries to busy himself. But some days are just too much for him to handle and he becomes a lot colder after such a thing.

Subaru--Similar to what I said before, he'd have a very hard time accepting this. And he wouldn't be okay with it. He'd be mad and wished it was him instead. He may even feel at fault and just think he's worthless because he couldn't stop it.

Kino--Like Subaru, he blames himself. There's not a day she doesn't cross his mind. And I mean, I think he wishes things could've been different or that if maybe there was another way so that she wouldn't have died.

For Paranoia;;

If they viewed her as a threat and killed her/how they go about their life.

Ayato--Like everyone in this category he didn't care. He just thought she was out to get him or something and you know he's brainless so he didn't think twice about killing her off. And he doesn't care, if sees a girl who has maybe even a hint of his mother (Or at least he thinks so) in them he will definitely distance her if not end her life depending on the circumstances of course.

Carla--He doesn't trust anyone like his brother, and he is paranoid just as much as he is. In one of the games he actually kills Yui because he saw her as a threat.

Kanato--I mean he's psycho, we can't deny this. Like, idk how many people's lives he's ended in his games, cause I haven't gotten there yet, but from what I know it's a lot. I mean the doll room tells us a lot already. She'd probably just going to become a doll and he'd take care of her. Or maybe if she's not worthy of being a doll he may just only bury her.

Shin-- He is shown to be very paranoid so it doesn't surprise me and he'd do this if she means nothing so he doesn't care. Well not that much, sometimes he does wonder if it was the right decision. Have you ever toyed with the idea (an AU of sorts) of Ying-Yang during the events of FC4? Like if she were there before Ajay showed up and watched as Pagan dealt with him and the others around them?

Gahhh this is such a fun question!!!!!! it's been bouncing around my brain since i saw it and i think it finally settled :DDD

(Spoilers for published parts of Pagan Poetry below!)

Pre-FC4 events

The events of Pagan Poetry (at least the first three acts) could easily have taken place before FC4. In fact the first act could probably play out pretty much exactly the same. The main difference would be that Pagan would have been traveling to the city from Kyrat to meet with the contractors, and probably not spent quite as much time there (though still a fair bit, and just letting Eric handle his royal duties in the meantime). Then he would have brought Yang-yang to Kyrat instead of the islands, and that's where things would start diverging more.

Being brought to the royal palace of Kyrat would obviously be a very different experience for Yang-yang, and probably a heckton more traumatic. She'd be exposed to Pagan's malign neglect of the country first-hand, and she'd meet his god-awful lieutenants.* She'd still probably end up in exactly the same place, emotionally, but it would be a much darker journey.

Enter Ajay!

There's a few different possibilities for what might happen when Ajay arrives, but I think the scenario that appeals most to me is this: Pagan brings Yang-yang to the dinner at Paul's compound. Perhaps he's thinking it'll put Ajay more at ease to have someone near his own age there. She's very quiet and tense, and Ajay barely notices her until after they're left alone together when Pagan goes to call Yuma.

Ajay takes one look at Yang-yang and decides she's no threat, and so he gets up to leave. She follows him, trying to convince him to stay, telling him Pagan really looked forward to seeing him and just wants to talk. When they encounter Sabal and shit hits the fan, Sabal decides to take the opportunity to grab a hostage.

(Putting the rest below a cut because this is getting long lol)

Pagan is obviously quite furious that the Golden Path stole his favourite pet. Gary manages to convince him to do nothing, pointing out that she would quite likely end up getting hurt or killed if they tried to get her back, and that it's better if the Golden Path don't think she's that valuable in the first place. Besides, she's crafty, who knows what she might come up with as their prisoner?

Meanwhile Yang-yang is questioned by the Golden Path leaders and Ajay, and puts up no resistance. She's loyal to Pagan but not to his regime, and either way she doesn't really know anything important. She keeps telling Ajay that Pagan meant to hand the country over to him and leave, but they assume she's lying or deluded.

She is kept first in Banapur and then moved to the Ghale homestead (after Sabal and Amita have decided they're not getting anything useful out of her). Ajay finds himself checking in on her more and more frequently. Her company is soothing to him, as she's like literally the only person in Kyrat who isn't trying to get him to do dangerous and morally questionable shit for them.

Eventually, he tells her about his mother's last wish, and she kinda just gapes at him and goes, "Uh. Lakshmana was Ishwari's and Pagan's daughter. Your half sister. Your father killed her, her shrine is in the royal palace. I'm sure Pagan would have taken you straight there if you'd just, you know. Stayed."

That's as far as I've gotten, and this is where events would start diverging from canon for real! xD

*) Re the lieutenants and how they'd relate to Yang-yang: Yuma would likely despise her for a weak excuse of a woman. She wouldn't find her nearly as threatening as Ishwari, but she might try to use her against Pagan at some point. Noore would perhaps feel pity for her but be too wrapped up in her own misery to care much.

Paul would probably lust after her. In fact, he might serve as a "threat" that makes her see Pagan as someone who can protect her, making her more attached to him. Paul would then serve the same sort of purpose as the DD/lg dynamic does in Act II of PaPo.

There, the introduction of DD/lg serves as a sort of emotional bridge between Pagan and Yang-yang. It allows her to feel like she's not entirely without agency, and offers moments of tenderness between the two of them. If Yang-yang had been brought to Kyrat instead, I doubt it could have happened the same way, if at all. I suspect they would have headed straight for the "deeper" waters they are currently about to explore in Act III, with Yang-yang seeking solace in helplessness.

So if Paul tries to "seduce" her away from Pagan and she feels like she's given an alternative in him, that might provide that sense of agency that DD/lg does in PaPo, allowing her to feel like she's choosing Pagan over a potentially much worse fate.

I can sleep peacefully.

who didn’t have a reason to be here.

There is one more thing,

which has changed,

ever since you guys came into existence.

Up until now,

I only got others to punch me,

but now I’ve learnt to hurt myself as well.

When I run a knife against my skin,

it swells up ever so slightly.

Somebody who doesn’t hurt me,

Therefore, when he handed me the bread,

While gazing at the spot he was standing,

Warming: Angst and some fluff

The music was thumping around the clubhouse as one of the famous Mayans MC parties was in full swing. The place was packed with members from charters all over who came by to celebrate Santo Padre’s charter’s rise to the top.

You had just split off from your Old Man to find yourself a drink leaving him to chat with Oscar from the Stockton charter. Weaving through the people you smiled at the familiar faces when your phone buzzed from the back pocket of your tight jeans. Slipping it out you stopped and leaned against the railing of the steps that led into the clubhouse making sure that you were off to the side and out of the way.

Your phone lit up with a new message from your half brother Miles. You haven't seen him in forever and tried your best to find him throughout the years with no such luck. The two of you had been seperated after the death of your father, thrust into the system to fend for yourselves. Now after so many years later he had found you and reached out.

You practically raised him growing up. Your mother's were no shows throughout your lives leaving you with your drunk of a father. You didn't blame them for leaving him but you did always resent them for leaving their children alone with that man. You did everything in your power to protect him from your father's rage, help him in his schooling, to keep him alive. You were the mother he never had and the mother you never got.

You smiled reading the message from him saying he couldn’t wait to see you again tomorrow. You were so excited and had a day full of events planned out for your reunion. Coco knew how important this meeting was for you and was even helping you make all the arrangements. He was just as excited to meet the brother he had only heard childhood tales about but most importantly he was happy for you to have your family back. Just like him you had had it rough. If anyone deserved some sliver of real family to hold on to it was you.

You sent back a quick ‘me too’ before slipping the phone back into its resting place. Whipping around the railing you bounded up the stairs and into the building in search of that drink you were after in the first place. The room was filled with people, it seemed as if literally every Mayan was here as the whole place was just bursting at the seams with men in the leather cuts and then on top of it you had the friends and families of members all there as well. You made your way through the cloud of smoke, past the table where Bishop and Taza were involved in a round of poker blowing them a kiss and sending them a wink before sliding up to the bar. You landed on a simple beer smiling and thanking Chucky before heading towards the back hoping to sneak out where it would certainly be a little less packed and quiet to catch some air.

Slipping in and out of the crowds rather smoothly, this wasn’t your first rodeo, you were just about to your destination when an unknown man from the Spokane charter who was leaning against the wall caught your attention.

“If I knew the woman in Santo Padre were as sexy as you I would have stopped by a long time ago,” He grinned bringing his lit cigarette up to his lips inhaling deeply before blowing the smoke out towards you as his eyes raked up and down your figure.

You rolled your eyes internally giving him a tight lips smile. One of the problems with big events such as these was that not everyone knew who you were. At least at the smaller gatherings it was well known that you were Coco’s Old Lady and he, your Old Man. You were just about to correct the man opening your mouth when he practically shushed you. Now you were pissed.

“Nah baby,” he purred, “Save that pretty little voice for all the screaming I’ll be having you doing tonight.”

You scrunched up your eyebrows looking to the ground as you gathered your thoughts. Bringing your head back up you tilted it slightly crossing your arms with your beer up, “Does that line ever work? Like do some girls actually respond well to that, to you?”

“Careful what you say bitch,” he snarled, pushing off the wall as you crushed his ego with your few words. Most men were the same as him, insecure and trying to make up for their tiny packages with tough guy acts. “Do you even know who I am?”

You scuffed snickering as you kept your gaze dead on his eyes not backing down as he got in your face, “Do you even know who I am?” You asked with just as much arrogance as him, “I’m Johnny Coco Cruz’s fucking Old Lady. Yeah the man who could put a bullet through your brain even in this crowded room without you even knowing what’s coming.” You smirked as you saw the realization and fear flash in his eyes before he recovered quickly. “You’re lucky he can’t kill one of his own,” you continued with a threatening tone, “Now I suggest you call it a night before that pretty little voice of yours gets you in any more trouble.” You took a swig of your beer all while remaining uncomfortable eye contact with him before spinning around and heading out the back door as you were intending on in the first place when that jackass so disrespectfully interrupted you.

You were staring at the screen of your phone, your now empty bottle sat on a pile of cinder blocks beside you as you scrolled through your feed more annoyed than anything now. You hated when drunk assholes hit on you but it was even worse when it was one of Coco's brothers even one from another charter.

Miles saw you standing there with your back turned to him. He chuckled to himself as he snuck up behind you. He knew you'd be here as he knew you were dating a member from the Santo Padre charter but he wanted to surprise you with his new cut. You were his rock growing. Everything you sacrificed for him wasn’t lost on him. More than anything he wanted to make you proud.

Sneaking behind you, the jumper cabled your sides just like he had when you were young. You helped jumping away from the shock causing your phone to slip from your grasp and onto the hard rocks beneath you. Bending over you cursed under your breath picking it up and dusting off the screen. Straightening up you whipped around expecting to find Coco fully ready to tear him a new one. Your mouth dropped as you found your not so little anymore younger brother, not Coco, standing there before you. He had changed so much throughout the years but you still recognized those dark eyes of his and could picture those chubby cheeks he had.

"Oh my God," you gasped out, "Miles?" You instinctively pulled him into your arms hugging him tight, "What the hell are you doing here?" You asked, pulling back just enough to give yourself a better look at the man he had become, "And what's this?" You asked, pulling at his cut, "You're prospecting?" You grinned meeting his eyes once more. You were so incredibly proud of him.

“Yeah, Spokane charter,” he replied proudly, “You look really good.”

“And you look so…. big,” you laughed still shocked by the sudden surprise.

“Well I’m not that eleven year old kid anymore.” He chuckled, taking you in just as much as you did him. The moment seemed so unreal, almost as if it was a dream.

“Shit I have to pee,” you said feeling all your drinks hit your bladder seemingly at once, “Don’t go anywhere. I will be right back.” You scurried off in the direction you came from stealing one more glance back to check that he really was there before heading into the door to find the bathroom.

Coco was shooting the shit with Angel, Gilly, Creeper and various members from all over as they had a smoke. The sky above was dark, almost back with the stars sparkling like diamonds as a cool breeze blessed them with some relief from the usually unbearable heat.

One of the men from the Yuma charter approached the group directing his words straight to Coco, “Hey man some fucker from the Spokane charter was hitting on your girl hard. Being real disrespectful. She shut him down but I thought you should know. So you can set him right.”

Coco threw his cigarette to the ground stomping it under his boot. Patting the man on the shoulder as he stomped past he thanked him ready to find that asshole with Angel, Creeper, and Gilly on his tail.

He made his way into the clubhouse asking around when someone pointed him in the direction of the back. He knew that was your favorite place to go to get some solace during hectic events such as this. From what it sounded like the man was out there with you ruining your peace and Coco wasn’t having that.

Busting through the door he met eyes with the prospect from the Spokane charter. He was leaning against the fence beer in hand. Now Coco was fuming. A fucking prospect had disrespected his Old Lady. The kid had a lot of learning to do but he couldn’t do it here, he had to take him to the ring, do it right and use him as an example for any other fucker who thought they could talk to his woman like that.

“Yo prospect! I heard you were saying some real nasty shit to my Old Lady,” Coco snarled, stepping down the steps slowly Angel and Creeper close behind as Gilly stayed by the door.

Miles looked at him confused. He had talked to a lot of women during the night but couldn’t recall flirting with a single one of them. He was mostly too busy being ordered around and given chores. “Look man I don’t know what you’re talking about. I think you have the wrong-”

“I suggest you stop talking,” Creeper interrupted him standing next to Coco, “You ain’t getting yourself out of this now.”

“Come on prospect,” Coco spat out, “We settle this in the fucking ring.” Gilly came down the steps meeting up with Creeper and taking the prospect with them towards the ring giving him no room to protest.

Coco looked over at Angel, “Find my girl. Let her know what’s up,” he requested of his best friend, “She’s not gonna wanna miss this,” he smirked. Giving each other a nod Coco set off in the direction of the cage ready to kick some ass.

“Yo (Y/N),” Angel called out, swaggering up to you exhaling a puff of smoke as you excited the clubhouse to the back expecting to find your brother, “I’ve been looking all over for you. If we don’t hurry we’re gonna fuckin’ miss it.”

“Miss what?”

“Coco’s getting in the ring. Gonna show that asshole who was hitting on you his place.”

That must have been where your brother went, to watch the fight. You grinned at Angel, happy someone had noticed and that the guy hadn’t listened to you hanging around despite your warning. “Well what the hell are we standing around here for then?”

Following his lead the two of you headed towards the ring. You loved the cage, your favorite part of these parties was watching the fights, and you especially loved watching your Old Man get in the ring. Something about watching him take out another, bare chested with his tats on full display, covered in sweat and blood really turned you on. To top it off he’d be giving that asshole a good beating. Let’s just say Coco was going to be a very lucky man tonight.

The sound of the crowds cheering got louder and your adrenaline was pumping as you approached the ring. Angel shoved his way past the people gathered around making a perfect path to get you to the best spot. The fight was in full swing, you had missed the first portion of it and were a little disappointed but once you saw Coco and he made eye contact with you briefly a grin on his face you forgot all about it.

“Fuck him up!” You screamed eating up every moment, the smile never leaving your face. You turned your attention to the other guy and that’s when your smile fell as your eyes went wide. Coco wasn’t fighting the guy who was hitting on you earlier. He was fighting your fucking brother.

From what you could see Coco was in the lead, looking a little better than Miles. The two men were circling each other, arms up, waiting for the other to strike first. Leaning up against the cage you grabbed onto the metal calling out to Coco. Against his better judgment he turned to look at you expecting to find your gorgeous smiling face but instead was met with your terrifying scowl.

“That’s not the guy,” You screamed at him over the noise. He furrowed his brow looking at you.

“What the hell do you mean?”

“That’s my fucking brother!”

Turning back to face his opponent he could now see the resemblance although it was too little too late. While he was distracted your brother took the opportunity swinging a brutal right hook to Coco’s jaw the moment he turned back around.

The crowd erupted in cheers and jeers. The men who had bet on Coco clearly disappointed in the events that played out before them.

You gasped watching him fall to the ground wincing along with him from the hit. He looked up making eye contact with you glaring as he rolled his jaw spitting out blood.

You grimaced giving him your best apologetic look as you yelled out, “My bad!”

That night you ended up starting your family plans early with you patching up both men in your living room. Letty was so kind to assist you working on Coco while you took care of Miles. You all chatted getting to know one another bonding over the events of the night. Thankfully there were no hard feelings all around from the misunderstanding.

“You got quite the fuckin’ right hook, hermano,” Coco complimented Miles as he held an ice pack to his jaw.

“Yeah he really did a number on you Coco,” Letty teased as she pulled out an alcohol wipe from the first aid kit.

“Hey I had the fight up until (Y/N) distracted me,” he chuckled smiling at you, “I guess I learned where your real loyalty lies.”

You shook your head laughing lightly as you began stitching up your brother, “Blood is blood,” you teased back playing along.

Miles chuckled along hissing as you stitched up the cut on his cheek, “Thanks man, you throw a mean one yourself.” He flinched away hissing some more as you reached the middle of the cut, “Clearly.”

“Stay still,” you scolded leaning in closer to get a better view.

“What do you say next time we take down that fucker together,” Coco suggested as

Letty dabbed at his face causing him to wince.

“Deal.” Miles grinned. He liked Coco. He was a good match for you and had seen first hand just how far he was willing to go in your defence. All he ever wanted for you was someone to defend you and take care of you like you had for him all those years.

“Excuse me but I think I handled him just fine,” you said interjecting on their plans. It had already been tried once and this is where it ended, with your brother and man beating each other to a pulp.

“Of course you did mami,” Coco smirked over at you as he lit a joint taking a drag and passing it to Miles, “But just imagine the damage the two of us could cause.” He said exhaling.

Rolling your eyes you finished the last stitch to your brother’s face before perching down by Coco on the ground and settling between his legs. He wrapped his arms around you resting his head on your shoulder. Miles passed the joint to Letty as she sat next to him. Leaning forward she completed the round passing it to you and then lounging back on the sofa. You took a hit yourself giving Coco another one as well.

The four of you spent the rest of the night sharing stories and catching up. The conversation flowed easily as most of the time you all had smiles on your face. This was your happy place, just hanging out with your family, whole once more. You snuggled closer into Coco feeling his chest rise and fall with each breath that tickled your neck as you listened to your brother and Letty discussing their favorite shows. Closing your eyes you relaxed enjoying the feeling of home.
