When I watched the new What If episode with Peggy & Nat I immediately thought of you, your art, and what your reaction would be. Especially since it was kind of a retelling of Captain America & The Winter Soldier.
What are your thoughts on the episode?
Seeing as you asked, I WILL TELL YOU MY MANY THOUGHTS. WITH PICTURES.
under the cut for length lol
First of all, as usual the animation, particularly the lighting, was incredible. Also the effects! The explosions, smoke, everything. Always blows me away how much effort and love these animators put in to What If.
I love that it's Winter Soldier based because by god do I love that movie - but I also love that it's so very different to my AU cos that means I can keep going with it lol.
Okay here we go with the highlights - Blatant flirting and showing off:
This???:
Just how in sync they were with every fight scene - even in the Battle of New York when they had only known each other for a few hours.
HEY LOVELY. LOVELY:
Angst. And how soft Nat is here:
"Hey, Peg. I got you."
Natasha's inability to sit in a chair properly:
Peggy making a star wars reference and Nat calling her out on it like .. Nat you RECOGNIZED the reference you're a nerd too
"You know I always wondered how you got all those GI Boys to follow a woman into war: question answered." ie. "I'm so into you right now":
This Natasha stabbed Dreykov to death with a corkscrew and I love her for it.
Natasha instinctively putting herself in between Peggy and Steve even though they're both twice her size
I've already mentioned but, the choice to focus on Natasha's face in this scene:
Nat's face here:
Natasha only getting taken down by the robots because her gay-Peggy-focused-ass gets distracted when Peggy runs off to protect Steve: (I'll come back to this point later as a negative)
MELINA.
Was anyone else looking to see if Yelena was there
"Let's unpack that later, shall we?"
"I don't know whether to kiss you, kill you, or dissect you." "Let me guess, all three?"
I bet the Captain Carter film was baby Nat's gay awakening lol:
Melina's glorious slo-mo "grandma, it's me, anastasia" coat drop:
Peggy running to save Nat T_T
These shots:
Nat wearing the same outfit from Winter Soldier:
Natasha "too-loyal-and-infatuated-for-her-own-good" Romanoff going along with Peggy again to look for Steve without even being asked. (in stark contrast to the end of Winter Soldier when Natasha did not go with Steve to look for Bucky, I might add)
New reaction image:
Peggy and Nat calling and reaching out to each other when the portal opens and ALMOST making it - then Natasha punching the ground in desperation T_T
These two look SO COOL and I can't wait for the 1602 episode.
Negative points:
Rehashing Ste/ggy all over again - we already HAD that and it was endgame, why do it again?
As much as I adore Natasha's intense loyalty, it's very one sided in this episode and I'm wondering if that's intentional. Peggy is hyperfocused on Steve and leaves Nat behind to run after him multiple times, even though he is in an entire suit of armor and is FINE and Natasha is the one actually getting injured. Then she's leaving at the end without saying goodbye to go find Steve again (despite there being no reason to think he's alive? he EXPLODED??) even though Natasha just went through a trauma too and shouldn't be abandoned. Kinda feels like Peggy is taking Natasha's always being there for granted and I really hope it's addressed in following episodes (though I doubt it will be - it'll just be Steve focused again -_- )
Okay I think I'm done. This was a LOT I'm not sorry I've been waiting for more content for SO LONG I can't wait for the rest of the episodes to rip my heart out and stomp on it :3
#Disclaimer because this is tumblr: I'm under no illusion that Peggynat will actually happen#but all their interactions FEED ME#peggynat#reply#critter rambles#long post#VERY long post I'm not sorry#what if...?#what if...? spoilers#what if#what if spoilers

Kinda Don’t | B.Barnes
Warnings: Angst, character death
Word count: 3.5k
A/N: Never proof read, going through my drafts and just posting shit lol, enjoy?
Master list
****
Bucky and you had a long history, and I don't mean long as in only a decade but 7 of them.
You were the girl next door literally, you grew up directly next door to Bucky. You moved in right before puberty hit not just the boys but you too.
It was always just you three and it was the first time you had any real friends, your father was part of the army, science sector of it so you were constantly moving never having enough time to actually make any life long friends let alone fall in love but when he went missing, later discovered dead in some secret lab he had under your house, your mother and you packed up and moved to the city that everyone wanted to live in, New York.
With the endless amount of possibilities or more so the endless amount of men your Mother could shack up with and have them support her and yourself. You didn't mind of course as long as she was happy, you were happy.
That was until her latest husband David started yelling a lot, then he started drinking a lot, then he hit you for the first time. Your mother told you it was the wrong place at the wrong time, you walked into the house right as they were fighting and he struck you. You never said anything except went straight to your room, then climbed out your window back to where Bucky was.
And when he saw you, you broke down. He promised he’d always be here for you and you were the only girl that would ever have his heart. He was true to his word to a certain extent. That was until puberty hit and every girl was throwing themselves at him, it was inevitable he was gorgeous.
He went out with every girl in town, except for you because you weren't as pretty as them even though he always would get drunk and end up climbing through your window instead of his, telling you just how you were the most beautiful girl he’d ever laid eyes on how he was so lucky to have you, but then the next day when you woke up he was gone, back out the window and back to holding some other dame in his arms.
But when the war got worse and people were getting their letters left and right you knew Bucky’s were coming and he stopped seeing other girls and he spent all his time with Steve and you.
It was different, he would hold your hand on the street, he would take you dancing, he would take you on dates. You found yourselves constantly under the sheets intertwined with one another and then one night when he thought you were sleeping he told you while running his fingers through your hair that it was only ever going to be you, it was only ever you and when he saw any future it was always with you.
He told you he was hopeless in love with you since the day he saw you standing by the moving truck holding a box and you tried your hardest not to open your eyes and tell him you were in love with him too.
The next day he enlisted and spent the last night he had with Steve and you at some Stark thing you cared nothing about but at the same time everything about because Bucky cared about it and you cared about Bucky.
And just like that he was gone and the first decade and a half of your history had ended before it ever really started. When Steve showed up on your step to tell you about Bucky and to give you the book that Bucky wrote to you every single day, he told you he was going to avenge his death and he would come back to you, and then he never did either. When Peggy Carter knocked on your door to tell you about Steve you shut the door and shut anyone out that was left in your life.
Till sometime in the 50’s in the paper it said Howard Stark was looking for volunteers and you never forgot how much Bucky would beam at the opportunity so you showed up at the base and he said yes before you could even speak after hearing how you were Steve’s best friend.
You were injected with the closest hope to the next super soldier serum without the drastic physical changes. They called you Miss America, and you hoped you would have made your boys proud but when Howard noticed you weren’t ageing as you should they ran tests, discovering that your cells rengernated at an extremely fast rate now allowing you to age as you should before you could run more tests and possibly find an antidote or even how enchanced you really were, Howard died.
You were alone again, Peggy tried her best to keep you company and to keep you hidden, you should have been in your late 60’s like her but instead you looked 3 decades younger than her, she thought it would be best to fake your death so that's what you did.
Y/N Y/L/N died in 1995 at the age of 75, your cause of death was undetermined. That’s when Lily Barnes was created, born in 1965 making you 30 years old, which is what you would stay looking for the next 2 decades, when they found Steve on ice you could have sworn you saw a wrinkle that was never there before.
When he found out Peggy was alive he was of course over the moon but when he saw you he couldn’t believe his eyes. He had Fury look into you and when he saw a death certificate, they found where you were buried and it was beside Bucky. But yet you were standing directly in front of him looking like you had only aged 5 years in the last 70. You told him everything, he was so mad at first but he came to terms with it when he realised he wasn’t going to be alone.
Fury tried to recruit you for the avengers but you wanted nothing to do with making new friends and losing them your heart simply couldn't handle it. Fury understood told you he didn't like it but he understood, he put you in a safe house Steve respected your wishes and besides Fury, Steve was the only one who knew where you were that until a red head knocked on your door, Steve beside her and he told you to suit up, you did no questions asked.
The next thing you knew you were on a jet, getting debriefed about someone by the name of Thano’s. But when you were getting close to a place called Wakanada, your heightened sense picked up on something you.
–
“Steve, what's wrong?” You stood by Natasha putting all your weapons in their correct spot.
“What isn’t wrong?” Natasha tried to joke but you ignored it.
“Stevie” You asked again “You know I can tell right? I can sense literally everything”
He gave you a soft smile “I forgot you were enhanced” he sighed “There’s something i haven't told you”
“No shit” You smiled
“She doesn’t know?” Sam asked from the front seat, Steve shook his head in response.
“How much doesn’t she know?” Natasha whispered
“None of it”
Natasha looked at you, placing a hand on your shoulder “I’m sorry in advance, I didn’t know” she then proceeded to sit by Sam, giving Steve and you the space you apparently needed for this conversation.
“I’m so sorry, i just, there was so much going on and you wanted to stay out of it and i know if you knew you would have been brought back in, but then Natasha happened and i didnt know about their history and he was so happy, I haven't seen him smile like that since you, then Wakanda happened, he deserved to be free, he deserves to be happy and so do you and it was wrong of me not to say anything, your my best friend you took care of Peggy, I – “
“Steve, slow down, what are you talking about?” Your senses were in overload, you could feel every atom, every fibre in the air, alerting you that you needed to run, that you needed to fight.
He gave you the same eye’s he gave you when your Ma past, the same eyes he gave you when Bucky forgot about your birthday because Dot said yes to a date, the same eyes he gave you when he told you Bucky died. “He’s alive, Bucky’s alive”
“What? Steve that's not funny”
“I know, I’m not joking” He reached just beside the shield and handed you a file that said CLASSIFIED in big red letters “Were arriving in an hour, I’m sorry I should have told you sooner, everything you need to know is in here. I’ll be right over there if you need me, I’m here for you”
The file was heavy in your hands, your mouth was dry. When you read his name at the top it felt you were swallowing a razor blade. You read everything as fast as you could, you held back tears, letting the metaphorically razor blade cut any emotions you wanted to have. You were angry, so angry, so hurt that this was kept from you, you wanted to kill Steve Rogers, you wanted to murder Captain America. But no more than you wanted to kill yourself, he was alive this whole time, the same time you were alive. You could have done something, why didn’t you know to do something? You should have felt he was still alive and in pain, he was your soulmate, he said you were soulmates. That was until you got to the second last page in the file, it was an HR paper from Stark Industries and your eyes were blurring with tears when you saw the world's relationship and saw two signatures at the bottom one reading James Barnes and the other Natasha Romanoff.
“Landing in 5, 4, 3 – “ You heard Sam counting down, you placed the file down. You took a deep breath soaking in every fibre of information presented to you in the last hour. You stood up having an internal battle of whether you should kill Steve now or later, you wanted to strangle Natasha, but it wasn’t her fault, you couldn't blame Bucky, she was amazing if you swung that way you would have fallen for her too, you should have known the second Steve told you he was alive, before you even opened the file, he always had a thing for redheads. You clipped your last knife to your thigh.
You gave Natasha a small smile and she returned it. You could feel Steve’s presence hovering beside you, as the doors whired open “Does he know?” you didn’t even look at Steve as the doors slowly opened.
“No” He sighed “Im so sore –”
You shook your head “Don't”
Natasha was the first one out, no doubt in your mind wanting to see Bucky, Steve followed shortly after, then Sam, then Bruce, the Rhodey, than you’
Her arms wrapped around his neck, her lips grazed his you heard her mumble an ‘i miss you’, that metaphorical razor you swallowed sliced your heart in half.
Steve hugged Bucky, whispering something to him and his blue eyes searched for you, disbelief written all over his face. He started to make his way to you, but stopped just before he could reach you, his eyes trailed over your figure, tears brimmed his eyes “Doll, I -”
You cleared your throat, shifting your demeanour from heart broken and love sick back to someone you swore you never wanted to be again and that was Miss America “We have a fight to win Sargent.”
He blinked a few times, shifting his gaze to Steve and he shrugged in return, he turned back to you “But I - “
Steve came up beside him “She’s right Buck”
Bucky looked like he was having an internal battle within himself before he nodded and the team made their way to the battle ground, Bucky never leaving your side, his pace stayed with you the whole time until the fight started, he kissed Natasha on the cheek wishing her good luck, before he got the chance to say something to you, your back was already turned getting in your fight stance.
You lost him for a while during the battle, while still keeping an eye on him without being too obvious. You did the same with Steve you knew he was more than capable and was no longer that little boy from brooklyn, even though you were still mad at him he was still your best friend, well one of them.
The fight dragged on, and when you thought you had any possible chance of winning, people started turning to dust all around you “no no no” you mumbled running closer to Steve, your eyes locked with Bucky “Y/n….” he trailed off before he was completely gone.
—
F i v e whole years.
Five whole years of losing Bucky again, five years of growing so close to Natasha you would consider her your best friend. It was just you two in the compound, you came back to the whole superhero lifestyle and tried your best to do anything you could to keep things running smoothly. It was hard half the fucking world was missing, but your whole world was.
You wanted to hate Natasha you did, she had everything you ever wanted in the palm of her hands and yet you couldn’t. She was everything you aspired to be. You were nothing like her and it made sense why Bucky kept anything you thought you had in the dark, it wasn't because you thought he was savouring it, soaking up every moment, no it was because he was ashamed.
You wanted nothing more than to hate her, it would have made things so much easier but she was just as amazing as everyone made her out to be, you hoped you could somehow find a way to get Bucky back and selfishly you hoped he would wildy confess his undenying love to you but you knew that would never happen, and at the same time you were rooting for them, he was your everything then and she was your everything now.
You could push your heart break aside for decades again couldn't you?
Could you die from a broken heart? You hoped it would make everything so much easier.
But you didn't and here you were about to do fucking time travel. Standing on the platform you tried to tune out all the energy and nerves you could feel radiating off of everyone, a hand found its way on your shoulder “Were gonna get him back Natasha smiled at you before turning to the rest of your teammates, her family “See you in a minute”
—
“You know, i thought living as long as i have would have been the craziest thing to ever happen to me” You smiled thinking of all the crazy shit you experienced in your overly lived lifetime.
“But here we are, in space going to some place called Vormir, don’t be too full of yourself y/n'' You laughed, bumping your shoulder against hers.
“Welcome” A voice echoed behind you. Grabbing your knife, Natasha reached for her gun. “Natasha, daughter of Ivan. Y/n, daughter of Lilith.
As you both made your way forward you tensed immediately recognizing who is in front of you.
“Who are you?” Natasha questioned, your knives still raised.
“Consider me a guide, to you and to all who seek the Soul Stone”
You eyed her cautiously before taking a step forward “Oh good, you tell us where it is, then we’ll be on our way”
Red skull looked at you “If only it were that easy”
He turned around starting to move forward, you looked at Natasha, she shrugged in response and then the two of you followed him near the edge of a cliff, what looked to be a sunset in the distance.
“What you seek lies in front of you, as does what you fear”
Natsha pushed ahead peering over the edge “The stones down there” Her back to you.
“For one of you” Red skull respond
You were overwhelmed, you could feel the stone, you could feel the calmness, the sureness radating off of Natasha, her pure willingness. Your feet dragged you forward, peaking over hoping the stone would be in reach, which you knew it wouldn't be, because it would be crazy for something to be that easy.
“For the other” He continued “You must lose that which you love, an everlasting exchange” He paused dramatically, you swallowed the lump in your throat “A soul for a soul”
She took your hand in hers, pulling you away from the ledge. Taking a seat on a rock, while you leaned on one. You knew what you had to do, what had to be done “Y’know, I think our hopefully chatter doomed us”
She smiled at you “We cant seem to ever catch a break huh?”
“People like us never really do it seems”
She stood up turning to face you “And here i thought we found a little bit of break in each other the last 5 years”
You smiled back at her “It's always too good to be true”
“Whatever it takes” She took your hand in hers
Swallowing back the lump in your throat “Whatever it takes”
She stared in your eyes, you felt nothing but love and longing radiating off of her “If we don't get that stone y/n, millions of people stay dead, Barnes stays dead”
Nodding in agreement “He deserves a life Nat” You placed your other hand on hers “A great one and you —“
“I'm starting to think we mean different people here y/n”
“For the last five years Nat, all we've been trying to do is get to right here, that's all its been about. Bringing every body back, getting Bucky back”
“Don't you get all sappy on me now y/n/n”
“Nat..” you trailed off
“You think I want to do this? I'm trying to save your life you idiot”
You squeezed her hand “Yeah, well I don't want you to. I've lived long enough Nat, this would be a great way to go” You smiled back your tears “Bucky has you, i have you” you looked off towards the sunset “It's not that bad of a sight, y’know if its the last thing i see”
She placed her free hand on your cheek, turning your head to face her again “I love Bucky” her eyes piercing into yours “But i love you more”
“No, Nat -“
I wasn't finished” Her thumb swept one out of a dozen fallen tears finding their way down your cheek “But he could never love me, his heart belonged to someone else but the little piece of it i got to see”
You shook your head as she brought your forehead to hers before she continued “Whatever it takes”
“Okay, you win” You released her hand before sweeping your leg under hers, placing your arm across her chest and pinning her down “Tell Bucky and Steve i love them”
She grunted before hitting your arm, and using her legs to flip you around before standing up and pointing her widow bite at you “You tell em’ yourself” before shooting it at you, an electrical charge attacked your body.
She started to run towards the edge before you recovered, grabbing your knife and aiming it at her leg grazing the side enough to knock her down.
Before you started to charge at full speed to the edge, as you were about to fall, she wrapped her arms around you shooting your grappling hook at the top of the cliff, you both swung back at full force smashing into the edge, you looked up “No no no” you tighten your grip on her but you could feel her slipping “How do you know i love you! This could be for nothing you dont know”
“I know”
You tried to reach her with your other hand for a better grip but failed
“Let me go”
“No” you sobbed “No please no”
“Its okay” she smiled
“Please” Tears were burning down your face, before she kicked off the wall her arm ripped from your grip.
“No!” You screamed till your throat was raw, as you looked down you saw her lifeless body laying there.
Everything went black and you could hear water running, you sat up frantically, you were no longer hanging off the cliff, as you lifted your hand out of the water a single stone laid in it. Your tears meshed with the water before you were being brought back.
“Did we get 'em all?”
“Are you telling me this actually worked?”
You dropped to the ground, cheeks raw from crying, you could feel all eyes on you, “Y/n? Where's Nat?” Bruce questioned, you turned to look at Steve, shaking your head no, avoiding all the other eyes because you wouldn't dare look into their eyes, you were nothing to them.
She was their family and you came back and she didn't.

——

——
Family: AGENT 13, Sharon [CLASSIFIED] — Sister
—————
“I wanted to be teacher but my father didn’t allow it. So now I live in the shadow of my older sister, but I do this job to protect her.”
“Did you really just challenge me to burger eating contest?”
“Yippee ki yay, mother-oops, sorry, there’s children present..”
“Man, I need a break. Who wants pie?”
————————
Personality:
He is delightful blend of charm and goofiness, often bringing humor to even the most serious situations. His clumsy nature leads to lighthearted moments, endearing him to those around him.
Beneath his playful exterior lies a fiercely loyal protector; Ben would selflessly throw himself into harm's way to shield his loved ones, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to their safety.
With a quick wit and a knack for sarcasm, he deftly navigates tense scenarios, using humor to defuse potential conflicts. Friendly and charismatic, he easily connects with others, making him a beloved figure among friends and allies alike.
-------
Background 📖
Growing up in a family where his sister, Sharon (AGENT 13), was clearly the high achiever, Bennett always felt the pressure to live up to his family’s expectations.
His dream of becoming a teacher was dismissed by his father, who pushed him toward a path of espionage or government work like his sister. While Sharon excelled, Bennett found solace in humor and developing a carefree persona to cope with the pressure.
—
“I don’t want to be like Sharon or you or even aunt Peg, dad! I want to teach and travel, not go around getting myself into trouble.” Ben replied.
“Son, you will be a fine young agent just like me. Being a teacher is too small of a career and you won’t be paid much.” Michael, his father, add in a stern tone. “You’re a Carter, act like it.”
“But I am not fit for that kinda job…”
“You say that now, but you will be.”
“Dad...”
—
While Ben respected his father and admired Sharon’s achievements, he couldn’t help but feel torn. More than anyone in his family, Aunt Peggy Carter had always fascinated him. She was a legend in her own right, a brilliant strategist, co-founder of S.H.I.E.L.D., and a woman who had helped shape the modern intelligence world. Yet, despite her immense legacy, Ben wondered if Aunt Peggy might have understood his desire to take a different path.
Sometimes, when the pressure became too much, Ben found himself wondering, What would Aunt Peg say if she were here?
Deep down, he believed she would have told him to follow his own path, to be his own person. Unlike his father, Peggy might have recognized that having goals—big or small—was important. But Ben never had the chance to ask her. And that uncertainty gnawed at him.
Would Peggy have supported his choices? Or would she have dismissed his dreams like his father had?
This question haunted Ben, even as he tried to balance his own desires with his family’s expectations. He longed for a mentor who would understand him, someone who wouldn’t see his dreams as "too small."
Though he eventually followed the path set out for him, Ben’s inner struggle never fully disappeared. He carried the question of Peggy’s approval with him, both as a source of strength and as a reminder of what he had given up.
---
-------
—Relationship with Sharon Carter 🛠️
Growing up, Sharon and Bennett shared a close bond. As the older sibling, Sharon was protective of her little brother, often looking out for him when their father’s strict expectations weighed heavily on him. In their early years, they had a lot of fun together—playing games, pulling pranks, and exploring the streets of New York. Sharon was always the more confident and adventurous one, while Ben was more cautious, happy to follow her lead.
But as they got older, the gap between them began to widen. Sharon embraced the world of espionage with determination, diving headfirst into training and missions. She became the perfect soldier in their father’s eyes, the embodiment of the Carter legacy.
Ben, on the other hand, grew unsure of himself. He admired Sharon’s strength and skill but resented the fact that her success only made him feel more inadequate. Often feeling torn between his personal dreams and the family legacy.
Despite their differences and the tension that arose from their father’s expectations, Ben and Sharon deeply cared for each other. Sharon was fiercely protective of Ben, even if she didn’t always understand his reluctance to embrace their family’s legacy. Ben, in turn, admired Sharon’s strength and independence, even if he resented the comparisons made between them.
As Ben began to settle into his own role in intelligence work—whether by choice or circumstance—Sharon continued to watch out for him. He didn’t want to live in Sharon’s shadow, but he also didn’t want her to get hurt. Part of his decision to follow the family path came from his desire to protect Sharon—to make sure she never faced the dangers of their work alone.
—
"I do this job for a lot of reasons," Ben once confided in a rare moment of vulnerability. "But mostly? I do it to protect you."
Sharon, uncharacteristically quiet, nodded. "I don’t need protecting, Ben."
"I know," he replied, looking down shaking his head and then looked straight at her. "But I’m still going to try."
——
—-
They weren’t as close as they had been in their childhood, but they had come to respect each other’s choices.
Sharon continued to work in her career, while Ben had found his own way, even if it wasn’t the life he originally wanted.

| CARTER — S.H.I.E.L.D. Associate | ⚖️ |
While Bennett initially resisted the idea of following in his family’s footsteps, particularly those of his father and sister, he eventually found a place within S.H.I.E.L.D., albeit on his own terms. He didn’t strive to be a leader or a figurehead, but he knew that protecting those he cared about—and finding his own way to make a difference—was important.
Reluctant Start, Natural Talent
After years of pushing back against his father’s expectations, Bennett’s path eventually led him to S.H.I.E.L.D. He realized that, whether he liked it or not, his family’s legacy wasn’t something he could easily escape. Yet, when he decided to join S.H.I.E.L.D., it wasn’t out of a desire to live up to the Carter name exactly—it was about finding his own purpose. He just wanted to make his mark in a way that felt authentic to him.
Though Ben had always been reluctant to pursue espionage, he discovered he had a natural talent for certain aspects of the job. He wasn’t the best strategist or mastermind like other agents, but he excelled in the physical and tactical elements of the work.
——
"Watch it, Carter. You're like a kid in a candy store," Maria Hill remarked dryly, watching as Ben eagerly examined the array of weaponry laid out in the SHIELD armory.
Ben scoffed, flashing a grin. "Hill, lighten up. It's a wall full of guns, knives, and other weaponry! Look at this," he said, picking up a sleek new handgun and examining it with gleaming eyes. "And ooh, is that a new set of bows and arrows? Bet Clint would love this!"
Hill shook her head, but she couldn’t hide the faint smirk on her face. Ben's enthusiasm, though sometimes overwhelming, was infectious.
——

- Tv & Film Fan -> He is often found quoting a line from his favorites or referencing a form of media. However he doesn’t always like to repeat the same thing, more than twice.
“No more Punzel! If I have to hear Zachary Levi’s voice one more time, I’m done.” He shouts during moving night.
His friend gasps, “How dare you? Flynn Rider is wonderful!”
- Dreamer -> Despite having to cut out being a teacher in his life, he always wondered what he might’ve showned those young minds.
“I could’ve been a History teacher or English..? Not math, I suck at that subject! Hell, I might quit this job and find out..”
- He talks to favorite things -> He will talk to his car, his guns and jacket. You already know if Ben had a pet he will be chatting with that animal too.
He grins seeing his favorite handheld gun and picked it up, “Hello sweetheart, gods, I missed you.”
Other things include: Ben is a music lover, mildly superstitious, enjoys collecting items, fear of heights etc.

-> Favorite Hero
Bennett will never admit it but he enjoys the heroes he seems on the streets and in his line of world.
You would think because his aunt Peggy association to Captain America, automatically that’s his favorite. He admires and respects Steve Rogers greatly, hell he hopes to have enough goodness in his heart to be like him, but not his favorite.
He actually secretly admires Spider-Man for his wit, willingness to help out, relatability and kindness towards others. He only seen the hero from afar but he can tell why people online like him.
~~~
-> Dating Life
When it comes to dating, Bennett tends to casual date. Nothing serious. He enjoys meeting new people and exploring connections without the pressure of committing or wanting to make they both hit it off well.
He has had serval crushes over the years, nothing notably strong or anything. However he once had a significant crush on a fellow agent, but he never acted on it, fearing it could mess up their professional relationship. He didn’t to push anything.
His flirting style is light-hearted and humorous. He tends to use playful chill banter and finding whatever he can as a simple ice-breaker. His charm is evident in his ability to make others smile, and he often employs self-deprecating humor to put his crushes at ease.
Currently, Bennett is single and he doesn’t mind it actually. Honestly, he thinks no one can compete with his notorious lack of skills and put up with him half the time to his bad jokes. But hey? We might be wrong and there is a certain someone out there for him.
~~~~
~ Hobbies and Interests |🛋️| ~
Cooking: Bennett enjoys experimenting in the kitchen. He loves trying out new recipes, especially when it comes to making burgers and desserts. His friends often joke that he should open a food truck.
- “Who needs a Michelin star when you can make the perfect burger at home?”
Movie Buff & TV Binge-Watcher: Bennett has a soft spot for action flicks, buddy cop movies, and classic comedies. He often spends his free time rewatching old favorites or discovering new series to binge.
Collecting Vintage Memorabilia: Bennett enjoys collecting vintage movie posters, old records, and retro tech. His apartment is littered with relics of the past, from vinyl records to an old-fashioned radio. He particularly loves hunting for rare finds at flea markets and antique shops.
- “You can laugh at my vinyl collection all you want, but there's nothing like listening to the Life Is A Highway on the original record.”
Tinkering with Cars: Bennett inherited a love of cars from his father. He spends weekends tinkering with his car, working on engine repairs, or upgrading parts. He’s not a full-blown gearhead, but he enjoys spending time in his garage fixing up his old, reliable ride.
——
————
-> Fears and Insecurities |🪤| <-
Fear of Failure: Bennett often worries about not living up to his family legacy or his own potential. This fear sometimes holds him back from pursuing more serious relationships or challenges.
- “What if I’m just not cut out for this? What if I let everyone down?”
Insecurity About His Role & Fitting In: Sometimes he can feel like he’s qualified to be an agent, and to overcompensate that with humor.
- “I mean, I’m just a guy who likes burgers and makes a lot of bad jokes… how did I end up here?”
Fear of Not Finding His Own Path: Bennett has always wanted to follow his own dream of being a teacher or traveling, but the weight of family expectations and his current career pulls him in another direction. He’s afraid that he’ll never get the chance to live the life he truly wants, and instead, be stuck in a role he didn’t choose for himself.
- "Maybe it’s too late to figure out what I want. Maybe this is just who I am now…"
Insecurity About His Intelligence: Though he’s smart and capable, Bennett sometimes feels overshadowed by more academically inclined people, like the tech geniuses or strategists he encounters in SHIELD. He’s more street-smart than book-smart, and while he’s skilled, he occasionally doubts whether he’s as sharp as others around him.
- "Sure, I can shoot straight, but can I crack codes and come up with genius plans? Not so much. Maybe I’m just the muscle here."
~~~~~
-> Signature Style
Bennett tends to dress in casual, comfortable clothing—jeans, graphic tees, sweaters, thick jackets and sneakers.
He has a penchant for customizing his gear and equipment, adding personal touches that reflect his personality, such as stickers or playful designs.
~~~~~~
-> Habits
Midnight Snacker: Bennett has a habit of raiding the fridge late at night, often resulting in humorous situations when caught.
- “Don’t judge me, if my stomach is craving a handful of cereal at 1 in the morning.” He mumbled as he eats the mouthful of Honey-Nut Cheerios.
Movie Marathoner: He loves binge-watching movie series and often tries to convince friends to join him, complete with snacks and drinks. Sometimes he is found watching classic footage he got stored away somewhere while sipping a nice cup of coffee. Such as old race car footage.
Non-Stop Talker: Ben has a real habit of making one handed comments, give a witty compliment or over speaking in a conversation, especially when it’s not needed. Sometimes he can’t help it but spit out a few sentences and split out of the room just as quickly. Or if he gets nervous, he might ramble until someone shuts him up.
Short-Term Memory: He will never admit it but Ben has a tendency to forget things easily or get distracted, which results in issues for himself and others. People need to often repeat what they said a few times or Ben has to write it down somewhere to make sure he did it. He wonders if it’s on-set early Alzheimer like his aunt Peggy has but tries not to think about it too much.
- “Can you repeat that? I only got caught half of what you said…” He replied looking up at you with a soft smile.
Vintage Fashion Enthusiast: One thing he will never admit nor you will ever except is for Ben to find fashion a causal factor in his life. He has a habit of wearing or finding timeless pieces whenever he went. Either a classic leather jacket, wrist watches, a necklace and or thick sweaters for colder temperatures. They’re simple items but a small part of him gets excited to wear them.

Best night of your life (2)
Summary: You get the offer of your life.
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Plussized!Reader, Implied former Helmut Zemo x Plussized!Reader
Warnings: a lil angst, unrequited feelings (kinda), cocky Bucky, teasing, implied smut, light smut, oral (fem rec), bitchy Peggy Carter
A/N: I love being a tease...
>> Part 1
“Fuck, look at you,” he purrs in your ear. Bucky has you sprawling out on his desk. A very expensive desk. Not that you had the time to get a closer look. He was all too eager to shove you dress up your thighs and spread your legs. “Such a pretty pussy for me to ruin.”
His face ended up between your thighs seconds after he ripped your panties down your trembling legs. “OH GOD,” you grab a fistful of his hair, tugging hard as your legs begin to shake again. “Y-ou didn’t exaggerate.”
Bucky chuckles against your cunt. He gives your thrumming clit a few more kitten licks before he gets up from the floor to lean over your body. Bucky greedily claims your lips, tongue sliding over yours. “That was the most delicious pussy I ever tasted, doll. I hope to do this again with you.”
“More?” you whine. “You promised me the night of my life. Your mouth is very good, but I’m curious if your cock can keep up with your tongue.”
“Sweetness, you won’t survive taking my cock after I ate you out,” he grins. Damn, that man. His second name should be cockiness, not Buchanan. “Let me take you out on a date before I feed this pussy with my cock.”
“Hey, don’t chicken out now,” you mutter. “I want that dick, and I want it now.”
He laughs at your attitude. “Baby doll, I won’t fuck you before we had our first date.” Bucky’s eyes darken when you wrap your legs around his waistline. “You’re a bad girl, aren’t you?”
“Depends…” You watch Bucky place his hands on each side of your head. He cages you with his body, teasing you with the feeling of having him on top of you.
“On what?” He asks.
“If you like a bad girl.”
“I like you,” Bucky claims your lips again. “I think we can find a compromise.”
“Shoot me, Sir.”
He laughs wholeheartedly at your reply. Bucky pecks your lips and pushes off the desk to hold out his hand for you.
“We will go back downstairs, dine together, and after I kicked my guests out, I’m going to ruin this pretty pussy and make you mine…”
Bucky led you back downstairs to dine with you. Now he shoves another canape into your mouth, smirking as you eat out of his hand. Literally…
“Such a good girl for me,” he whispers lowly. His erection prominent in his pants he already imagines how he ruins you the moment the last guest left his house. “I will make you scream my name tonight.”
“I already did,” you cock your head to look at his crotch, “didn’t I? Right after you pushed your thick and talented fingers inside of my greedy hole.”
“Holy,” he curses under his breath. “You dirty girl. Where have you been all my life?” He furrows his brows, expecting an answer.
“I was dating the wrong guys, I guess,” as you run your hands over Bucky’s chest, a pair of jealous eyes follow the motion.
Once again, Margaret didn’t get every man’s attention, because of you.
She grabs Helmut’s wrist to move a little closer to your position.
“Peggy, what’s wrong?” Helmut wants to know. He thought Peggy will be all over him, and now, she seems to be more interested in listening to your and Bucky’s conversation.
“I just want to know how she wants to get rid of the extra calories,” Peggy sneers when you look in her direction. You grit your teeth, ready to give her a snarky comeback.
“Well, that’s easy,” Bucky jumps in. He narrows his eyes at Peggy and smirks, “I will fuck every single calorie out of her body tonight, and every night after. Not that I want her to lose one single pound. Y/N is perfect the way she is and gets me rock-hard.”
You are speechless and just watch Bucky snap his fingers at his bodyguards. “Miss Carter wants to leave my home now. Make sure she finds her way.” He says, nodding at Helmut. “You are welcome to join her.”
Bucky smirks when you pounce on him. You press your lips to his ear, and purr. “How about you kick all of them out right now and fuck me on that buffet. I’m on the menu tonight…”
“Fuck, I knew it was the best decision of my life to order food from this catering company…”

Echoes of love (Steve Rogers x Reader)
Summary: After a few months of living with Peggy, Steve couldn’t help but feel unhappy. Turns out, Peggy was not the one he truly loved after all.
Word count: 475
Requested: Yes
Warnings: unrequited love (kinda), heartbreak, sadness
A/N: I know I said “Greatest love” was going to be the last part but someone requested it, so I had to oblige hehe. So, here it goes. Also, please check my series, ‘Forsaken – The Fallen Soldier’. Feedback is always appreciated, don’t be shy to share your thoughts on this :)
When the opportunity arose to return to the 1940s and reunite with the love of his life Peggy Carter, Steve didn’t hesitate. He didn’t even think about this ex-girlfriend. Peggy was the kind of love he believed only happened once in a lifetime, so it was a no-brainer. The quiet streets, the dance halls, and Peggy’s warm smile were a refuge from all the battles that seemed to have defined him before.
Months passed and living with Peggy seemed like a dream. She was happier than ever, to have her Steve back, something she never thought was even possible. But for Steve, things were different. Of course, for the first couple of months, everything was like a dream, but things started to shift. Something was missing – she was missing, his ex-girlfriend. Peggy knew him like the back of her hand, so she sensed something was off with him.
“Darling, is everything okay?” Peggy inquired, her voice a gentle comfort in the air.
Steve, fighting with his emotions, could only manage a faint smile. He couldn’t shake the thought of the one who had slipped through the cracks of time.
After almost a year of living with Peggy, Steve finally made a choice. The idea of going back to her became too hard to resist. He said goodbye to his past love, who was very understanding of his feelings and went to the year 2024.
The modern world looked almost the same as when he left. Steve was determined to rewrite the love story that was lost in the pages of history. He finally found her again, but the reunion was not as he had hoped.
The restaurant he found her was near her place. She hadn’t changed, not even a little bit. Even her laugh was still the same. For a few seconds, he couldn’t help but smile to himself – he missed that infectious laugh, the kind that could uplift everything and everyone. However, his smile soon turned into a frown – she was sitting in front of a man, tightly holding his hand. From the shadows, he watched as a spectator to a life that had moved forward without him. A life that could also be his.
“Logan, I love you so much…” he heard her say to the unknown man. The weight of those words, who were once meant for him, now belonged to another. He was witnessing a love story that was no longer his. The woman he loved had found comfort in the arms of someone else.
Steve decided it was best to not bother her and potentially ruin her new life without him. He walked away, carrying the heavy weight of his decisions on his shoulders. The hero who had once stood frozen in history now faced the challenge of disappearing into a world that had gone wrong beyond his control.

Aim for the Heart (Chapter 9 Teaser)
It's Day 3 of Steggy Week over at @steggyfanevents! The theme is AU's and Crossovers, which means I would be remiss not to update Aim for the Heart as I tend to do once a year, particularly on this theme day.
Unfortunately the muse was a little slow on this one this year, so I don't have a full chapter ready, but there was a little snippet that I have already written, really loved and wanted to share!
I mean, Peggy has a party to go to now, after all ;)
Aim for the Heart - Read on AO3
Fic Summary: Though from her angle she couldn’t see too much of her surroundings, and the lights in the room were dimmed, she knew immediately that she was no longer in Howard’s lab. Bloody hell.
Chapter Teaser:
Peggy was slightly sceptical about shopping with Pepper, Natasha and Maria together, considering she hardly knew them. It was clear that the three of them were good friends, so for the first two stores, Peggy mostly allowed herself to listen to their banter as she discerned through the dresses in the rack before eventually settling for a couple to try on.
“Kinda tough, huh? Being fashionable.”
Peggy arched her eyebrow but didn’t turn her head from the offensive orange fabric that deigned to call itself a dress in front of her.
“I’ll have you know, Romanoff, that outside of army requirements, I’m actually quite fashionable.” She continued thumbing through the options in front of her before tugging on a dress made up of three contrasting shades of neon. “However, that word seems to have changed its meaning in the last seventy years.”
“I’d say the definition technically changes about every six months, so I wouldn’t be too hard on yourself,” she joked.
Peggy hummed, not taking her eyes off the dress.
“It’s not just the dress, is it?”
“Is this how you normally make friends?” she retorted. “Try to diagnose their troubles?”
“No, normally I fight them first.”
Peggy snorted, but finally looked over at the other woman.
“And for what it’s worth, Carter, I’m sure you made that army uniform look hot,” Natasha winked.
“Oh I certainly did,” she smirked.
“Steve ever see you out of it?”
“Twice,” she allowed herself to admit. Natasha had already made it clear that she and Steve were still as far from obvious as they were nearly 70 years ago, there was no shame in sharing certain facts. “Though the first time was really only a few minutes-”
Natasha’s low whistle cut her off.
“You work fast, Carter.”
“Oh, not like that,” Peggy scoffed, gently shoving her shoulder, which made Natasha nearly cackle. “I was talking about dresses and you know it.”
“It must’ve been good though,” she prodded.
“It was my favourite,” Peggy admitted. “But with the war I hadn’t worn it in years, particularly because it was only appropriate for special occasions.”
“So what was the special occasion?”
“I… had a message to deliver,” she answered.
“And it worked?”
“Quite well, for the most part.”
Natasha’s eyes lit up mischievously.
“What colour was it?”

It had been easy to find a store selling dresses made to look like they were from the 1940's. The Brandon Center, the little store that could only be found in Brandon Briar, had an overwhelming amount of them. You'd left Bucky to find whatever he needed, you instead opting to browse through all the pretty dresses. There was a large selection, filled with pretty prints and colors.
Bucky, perhaps ten minutes ago, had interrupted your browsing to tell you that he was going to wait in the car. You had simply nodded, quickly glancing at the bag he carried.
A stunning red dress caught your eye. It had a little belt to go around your waist, with 3/4 satin-cuffed sleeves and a matching satin heart-shaped collar.
Sure, there were other dresses in a similar color, but once you saw this one, there was no going back. You checked the tag, making sure that it would fit.
Grinning once you saw that it did, you took the hanger off the rack before looking through the jewelry stand. When you found nothing that fit your style, you sighed. You walked to the register, and you were greeted by a woman, probably in her sixties. Her hair was dyed blonde, which looked good with her blue eyes. She wore black eyeliner all the way around her eye, with thick mascara to match. She grinned, a heavy country accent coming in thick when she spoke. Though you'd only spoken to a few locals, they all seemed to have the same accent.
"Hiya! Will this be all for you today?" She had a nametag on her floral blouse. Brenda.
You nod. "Yes."
"Okay. Oh..this is a pretty thing. You plannin' on comin' out by the old diner for the dance tonight?" She laid the dress out on the counter, examining it.
"Yeah. It's..it's in that little square, right? I saw the string lights this morning when I was driving by, but I didn't really have time to look."
"Yes, yes. The decorations are always gorgeous. Wait a minute..oh, this is from Mr. Lee." She said, beginning to fold the dress. When she noticed your confused expression, she grinned.
"A while back, we had a guy donate a bunch of old dresses like this after his wife passed. His wife was friends with Peggy Carter, funnily enough. Anyway, we kept a bunch of those dresses in the back for a few years. Forgot all about them. Until now, that is."
You nodded, though the mention of Steve's almost-kind-of-basically girlfriend startled you. A younger girl, maybe a college student, stepped out from the door next to the register. The creaky wooden floor announced the presence of another customer, as did the bell on the door.
"Aunt Brenda, can you help Ms. Owens? She wanted to look at that green dress I told you about." The girl said. Her hair was brown and straight, going down to her waist.
"Oh, yes." Brenda turned back to you. "Stacy will ring you up." She explained, placing the folded dress into a white paper shopping bag.
She walked out from behind the counter, Stacy taking her place.
"Sorry about that." She apologized. "That'll be $23.99. Hero's discount."
When she glanced up to you, she smiled a little. "Don't worry. You blend in a lot. Most of the people here are older, and anyone who isn't is just a young couple coming here for the festival. My great aunt and my grandma live up here, so I stay here every summer to help with the store." She assured.
Once you paid, she waved you goodbye as you walked out of the shop. Bucky was waiting in the driver's seat of the truck, scrolling on his phone.
"Y'know it starts at 6:00, right?" He asked when he heard the truck door open.
"It's 3:15, we'll be fine." You rolled your eyes, buckling your seatbelt. You didn't say much on the drive to the hotel, instead thinking about what else you were going to wear.
--------------
Bucky stood inside of his hotel room, not sure what to do. You had decided to close your door to his room, and he decided to do the same.
He showered quickly, before getting dressed. He felt stupid as he glanced at himself in the mirror. He knew how he was supposed to look, but none of this felt...right. He tied his hair into a low ponytail, just to keep it out of his face.
He opened his door to your room, just to be met with your door closed. He knew it was going to be closed. Of course it would be closed. There was no reason he should feel so...disappointed.
Disappointed? No. No. Bucky was sure of it. He barely tolerated you. You were annoying, and you liked starting fights for no reason.
But he couldn't deny the feeling of excitement he got when he saw your name light up on his phone.
Ready. That was the entire text message. And somehow, a single word made his stomach feel light. Without typing a reply, he stepped into the hallway of the hotel, before he saw you.
--------------
"You look..fine." You mumble, refusing to say what you really meant: hot.
He nods awkwardly, before tilting his head towards the elevator. Nodding, you walk with him to the elevator, and you try and study his expressions as you wait to get to the first floor.
He looked lost in thought. Shit. That was never good. If he wasn't talking, whether that meant exchanging insults with you and Sam or marveling at modern technology with Steve, he was lost in his head.
One thing you'd noticed about him since he'd moved into the Compound was that he was getting better. Better, in the sense that he wasn't staying holed up in his assigned bedroom pretending that the world didn't exist. Better in the sense that he was talking to people now. Better in the sense that he wasn't waking up violent or screaming in the middle of the night. Yeah, sure, he's a petty asshole who's extremely good at pissing you off, but even semi-joking insults are better than eerie silence and pure fear of the outside world.
When he'd arrived at the Compound, he'd avoided everyone, even Steve. He didn't speak, barely acknowledged people unless he had to. He didn't eat. He could barely sleep. It was like he was a ghost. The first time Peter came over while Bucky was around, Bucky seemed to have shut down a little. Peter was a good kid. He stayed over in his room during weekends, or even occasionally during weekdays in the summer. He didn't ask intrusive questions, and he really did try his best to make Bucky feel welcome. But it really just terrified Bucky.
After a few months of court-mandated therapy, which slowly evolved from twice a week to once every two months throughout the span of a year, he seemed to recover. He slowly learned to get out of those post-HYDRA habits he'd picked up. He'd eat with the rest of the team. He'd join in on weekly movie nights. He'd even help Wanda when she cooked for the monthly 'nice-family-dinner' days. She always loved making the food for those. He started watching baking shows with Vision. He'd hang out with Natasha. He pestered Steve in a way only a best friend ever could. He made jokes. The first time you ever heard the former brainwashed assassin make a joke will be forever ingrained into your mind. It had been some stupid joke about Steve's old costume, and it had shocked everyone in the room. Except for Steve.
He only went silent like this on particularly bad days. Nobody ever said anything, because they knew that would only make it worse, but it was obvious whenever something rough went down. 'Bad days' meant days that followed nightmare-filled nights, or days that involved flashbacks or recovering from flashbacks, or days that were ruined by something triggering him.
"You good there?" You decide to speak up, just as the elevator door opens.
He nodded quickly, beginning to walk to the truck. He hops into the driver's seat, and you don't fight him on it.
"We're a bit late." You note, glancing at the time. 6:13pm. Technically, it started at 6:00pm and ended at 10:45pm.
"Holy shit." You say aloud, looking through Bucky's window at the beautiful decorations. There were string lights strung from light posts, and hay bales for some reason, and other cute things. There was a little stage set up, with a small band playing vintage songs. There were little stands set up where you could buy food or random 1940's themed shit.
"You ready?" You looked to Bucky, before checking in the mirror to make sure the red lipstick you'd applied hadn't smudged.
He nodded, parking the truck against the sidewalk. He waited for you to walk around the front of the vehicle to join him.
"I'll grab us some dinner. You up for this? We can always go back--"
"I'm fine." He said, and at first you thought that he was getting annoyed at you, before a quick glance to his face assured you that he was just trying to convince himself of this. "I'm fine." He repeated.
The air was warm, and the yellow light of the string lights combined with the street lights made Bucky look..really nice.
"Ooh! That place looks good. C'mon!" You grabbed his hand, pulling him forward.

Unpopular Phase 4 & 5 Opinions
Quantumania is the worst Phase 4/5 movie. And it wasn’t even because “kang got beat by ants.” (I liked kang in this movie). It’s just that the Spy Kids aesthetic & bad acting & overall weird vibes just weren’t for me.
Love and Thunder is no worse than Ragnarok. I would argue that it’s better in a lot of ways, actually. I really liked it.
Taika Waititi ruined thor with bad humour all the way back in Ragnarok tbh, but y’all weren’t complaining about it then 😒.
BuckySarah is better than sambucky every day of the week.
The Marvels was a good ass movie & they’re one of my favorite teams in the mcu. I’ll never forgive cbm sites & online dudebros for killing the hype from the moment the film was announced.
I adore America Chavez & Kamala Kahn and I want to see them in everything. They must be protected at all costs.
Multiverse of Madness had shitty characterisation & basically just copy-pasted the ‘grief made me go off the deep end & hurt people, then I realised and stopped myself’ storyline from Wandavision… but Wanda was extremely selfish & apathetic to other people’s suffering from the time she was introduced in the mcu. MoM didn’t make her like that.
Wanda should’ve been looking for Vision (her actual real life boyfriend whom she spent years with irl) in MoM instead of the kids that weren’t even real that she spent like a week using as characters in her sitcom.
Making everyone forget Peter Parker wasn’t profound or poetic in any way- it was just frustrating and needlessly cruel.
I’m begging marvel to understand that heroes don’t have to be in constant suffering to be heroic & villains don’t have to sacrifice themselves to achieve redemption. Let characters heal and atone, you absolute weirdos.
What If…? is the most boring show ever. I’d rather watch Secret Invasion or She-Hulk.
Season 2 of Loki is, in a cinematic & artistic sense, the best marvel project period.
Loki season 1 was meh- more of a fun au than anything because his characterisation kinda sucked. Season 2 fixed it, though, and made it way easier for me to incorporate this version of Loki back into the larger mcu.
Having Steve stay in the past with Peggy was stupid af.
I don’t hate Peggy (or Captain Carter), though. I actually think she’s pretty cool.
I don’t really love Steve. He’s arrogant & they never really let him have flaws & something about him being a perfect metaphor for the American military industrial complex (and marvel painting that as a good thing) doesn’t sit right with me.
The Illuminati got done dirty and the only reason they went down so fast was because Wanda had all that plot armor.
I thought the retcon of having Wanda be “destined” to become the Scarlet Witch since birth was an annoying cop-out. Her powers originating from being experimented on with an infinity stone was way more interesting.
Loki & Wanda have almost the exact same powers.
Nebula deserved a bigger rule in killing Thanos & everything else moving forward.
I love Kathryn Newton but her acting as Cassie Lang was the worst acting I’ve ever seen in the mcu, like it was outrageously bad.
I’m glad Sam is the new Captain America and not Bucky.
The fact that Bucky probably isn’t gonna be one of Thee lead characters in the upcoming avengers movies feels sick and twisted.
Secret Invasion was actually passable until the G’iah scene at the end. That ruined it. And Nick Fury deserved way better for his solo series.
Kang is so much more interesting than Doctor Doom. I really hope they just recast him.
Carol Danvers does NOT deserve the hate she gets.
I actually disliked Carol until The Marvels. That movie made me a stan.
The way people treat Monica as Wanda’s little inferior pet creation or smth & then brag about it is uhh very sus.
I don’t like sylvie (bc she’s an amalgamation of 3 different comic characters- which killed any hopes of them appearing individually in the mcu, the creators used her existence to butcher Loki’s genderfluid rep, & she was written poorly) & I HATE sylki (bc it’s weird & unnecessary).
Marvel isn’t dead. I actually love where they’re taking things. But that’s just me.

I’m really into Marevl Superhero’s right now, I can tell you all about Squirrel Girl and how’s she peak, or how Peggy Carter could be a great captain America.
This brings me to the reason why I send you an ask, what super heros do you think the characters in the CoD-verse would like?
DC, Marvel, so on and so forth
I personally think that Simon is big into comics only because 09 Simon has his own comic series.
And despite loving characters It feels weird to assign them favorites, I struggle with this with my own OCs. I also like hearing others thoughts and opinions, I like to learn. I’m sorry for rambling, I just like superheros a lot.
Ayyy, I like a good DC hero and I fuck with the X-men. I fuck with Marvel depending on what it is because their newer stuff is kinda meh but I hold some classics close in my heart. Anyway, on to the good shit and this is coming from my completely biased opinions about superheroes, prior warning.
Simon likes Watchmen. Not a fan of the movie, almost all comic fans aren't but he likes the TV show and appreciates the fact that Trent Reznor was responsible for the soundtrack. As do we all.
Kyle read V for Vendetta way back when and still likes to watch the movie on or as close to Bonfire Night as he can get.
Johnny and Alex share a fondness for Spiderman, in my soul I can feel that I'm correct about this. Comics, cartoons and movies. They each have preferences for live action. Alex appreciates the look of Garfield but prefers Maguire and Johnny just straight-up prefers Garfield. Farah has been made to watch the Spiderman movies with Alex and she's of the opinion that Aunt May deserves a drink.
Batman is the guy. He is the superhero. Bruce Wayne has bitches slobbering on it, including John Price, Rodolfo Parra and [because it's Bruce Thomas iykyk] Adler. John likes the live-action movies, preference for Kilmer. Rudy always liked the cartoons and the comics. Adler likes Keaton's Batman and a bunch of silly Batman commercials that they did in the 2000s. Once again, adding this in for my own silly little joke.
Graves [and someone will disagree with me here but I simply don't care] was an X-Men fan. I won't comment on him as a person but I feel he liked the X-Men and Scott Summers was usually his favourite but he always did have an appreciation for Storm.
Kate Laswell as I have said before and will say again, has an appreciation for pretty much every Catwoman. Never really got into the comics but she did watch Batman Returns as a lesbian and damn. Damn.
Also members of the Jason Todd support group, whether they have read comics or for some reason or other watched Batman: Under the Red Hood and just felt bad for him:
Simon Riley [runs the club]
Kyle Garrick [runs the club when Simon is brooding]
John MacTavish [didn't pay attention to the movie but if Ghost and Gaz tell him to support the cause then he will]
Rodolfo Parra [would bundle kiddo Jason Todd in a blanket if he could]
Kate Laswell [watched it with a nephew, wants to smack Batman]
Phillip Graves [thinks he could domesticate Jason Todd like a stray cat]

Chapter Nineteen – Army Training Grounds, 1302 hours
WAC is an acronym for Woman’s Army Corps FYI
Word count: 1916 words
Warnings: Phillips is a jerk >:(
Addie had no idea how busy the recruits were really before she got to Camp Lehigh where Erskine and Steve would be working together. Phillips was ticked, of course, but Erskine knew what he was doing. Addie soon learned that Phillips would have rather picked the largest and fastest man in the outfit before considering what he was made of. Idiot.
Before the first day of actual training, Addie was sent to the WAC’s side of the camp to stay with another lady. She didn’t mind, but it would be strange since she hadn’t lived with another female, let alone spoke to one in almost a year. Whatever. Besides, Lieutenant Carter was nice, strict and quite passionate. Plus she would take you anytime, anywhere. Scary wasn’t quite the word Addie would have used, but it was pretty darn close. “I hear you’ve already received the serum.” Agent Carter asked as she helped the other make out her bunk. “Long story short, yes.” Addie nodded, stuffing her pillow into the fabric pillowcase. “I really don’t know half the details.” “And you’ve never met Dr. Erskine before?” “Nope,” Addie shook her head. “At least, not that I remember. I was out of it for a long time.” “A whole year.” Carter informed. “The Colonel briefed me on your file before you arrived.” “Oh,” Addie wasn’t quite sure how to respond to that. Anything involving Phillips couldn’t have been very pleasant. “Don’t be worried, hon. I’m not one to gossip. The little buggers.” Addie snickered as she tugged her dress off to change into her uniform. It was similar to Agent Carter’s but a different color and cut. “And this whole place is ours?” She turned to the English agent with a grin. “There’s a revolver in the drawer to keep any prying eyes away,” Carter winked. “Only a six shot though.” “Aw!” Addie made a mock pout. “C’mon, then—“ The other opened the door and shooed her out. “Supper’s not going to eat itself.” “Thank goodness, I’m starved.” “Erskine tells me the serum boosts your metabolism to four times faster than the normal person.” “Great, now that I know the numbers, then I can use an excuse to get fifths.” They shared a laugh as they passed the buildings and bungalows of the camp, the mess hall just a few hundred yards away. “So how did you meet Rogers?” “Oh, lets see…” Addie scrunched her brows. It felt like centuries ago. “The library. I was with another soldier and we kinda bumped into each other. No, it was Bucky first, then Steve.” “And who’s Bucky?” “Oh, Steve and mine’s best friend. He’s a hoot, to say the least.” “Hm, sounds contagious.” “Well, flattery gains you nothing, Lieutenant.” Addie tried to pull some of her wit from her fragmented memory, and to her delight, the words seemed to flow right and she actually made her other laugh. “Oh, please, call me Peggy.” She smiled sweetly as they entered the mess hall. “Besides, they’re going to bump you up to Commander from what the Colonel tells me.” “Oh—really?” Addie gave her new friend a strange look, genuinely surprised. “But…I don’t think commissions work that way.” “Not with the government behind it and a research unit, they do whatever the hell they feel like.” Peggy nearly deadpanned as she handed the super-soldier a tray. Addie shrugged and followed the Brit through the line. Erskine knew what he was doing. They’d be just fine…
The Next Morning, 1109 hours
Peggy and Addie walked to the training grounds where the lieutenant would greet her platoon and begin working with them. Turns out that platoon was selected for the Strategic Scientific Reserve, and it included one Steven Rogers. Looking almost like a boy among the much taller recruits, Addie couldn’t help but feel a little sorry for him since he would have to keep up with competition like this. “Recruits, attention!” Peggy ordered as she walked in front of them, Addie hanging back behind and next to the truck. “Gentlemen, I am Agent Carter. I supervise all operations for this division.” The recruits looked a little uncomfortable at a woman would be in command of them. “What's with the accent, Queen Victoria?” One recruit smarted off, his tone unyielding. “I thought I was signing up for the U.S. Army.” Addie scrutinized his face, remembering he might be a trouble maker. She didn’t like bullies, same as Steve. Peggy simply stepped closer to him, her expression still. “What's your name, soldier?” “Gilmore Hodge, Your Majesty.” The recruit grinned. “Step forward, Hodge. Put your right foot forward.” Hodge obeyed with a face, his brow raised. “We gonna wrassle? 'Cause I got a few moves I know you'll like.” Peggy landed a punch right on his jaw, laying him sprawling on the dirt. “Agent Carter!” Phillips called from the jeep where he climbed out next to Addie. “Colonel Phillips.” The lieutenant spun around and faced her superior. “I can see that you are breaking in the candidates.” Phillips said as he approached Peggy. “That's good!” Then he turned the Hodge who hadn’t gotten off the ground. “Get your ass up out of that dirt and stand in that line at attention till somebody comes tells you what to do.” There was no argument in his tone. “Yes, sir!”
Colonel Phillips glanced at Addie as she came to stand next to Peggy, her eyes wandering to Steve as the Colonel spoke. “General Patton has said that wars are fought with weapons, but they are won by men. We are going to win this war because we have the best men.” He paced up and down the line, still unimpressed with Steve’s scrawny appearance. “And because they are going to get better. Much better.” He looked to Addie again, pointing to her. “This is what you’re going to go up against at the end of the week. She may look small but she has been enhanced in ways I doubt you could imagine.” Wait—Phillips said nothing of this…! “If you can beat her, you’ll be considered one of the best.” Addie felt her heart drop. This wasn’t supposed to happen! Was this a test for her?? Was it a plot by Phillips to get his man and kick Steve out?? But she kept her unmoving demeanor as Phillips continued. “The Strategic Scientific Reserve is an Allied effort made up of the best minds in the free world. Our goal is to create the best army in history. But every army starts with one man. At the end of this week, we will choose that man. He will be the first in a new breed of super-soldier. And they will personally escort Adolf Hitler to the gates of hell.” “With her too??” One of the recruits pointed at Addie, her blood was boiling. It was not Hodge, unfortunately… “Unless you want to conduct your own test right here and now??” Phillips offered, like Addie was his personal toy to flaunt. “I wouldn’t mind.” The recruit dared. Addie rolled her eyes as Phillips motioned for her to step forward. She didn’t want to fight the guy, but he did deserve a kick in the pants. “If you can keep her down, I’ll be impressed.” Phillips said before he let them begin to spar, stepping back. By now they were drawing the inquisitive looks of the other recruits and even some of the instructors. The girl freak was going to fight a man right there. “Now don’t go easy on me, sweetheart.” The recruit taunted, his hands reaching for her middle and lowering his center to knock her to the ground. She retaliated with a firm knee to the shoulder knocking him off his balance. They both hit the dirt, Addie on top as her hand came down and clutched his neck, pressing those arteries before she felt smaller hands try to yank her off the recruit. “Adds, don’t!” It was Steve, thankfully. She might have seriously hurt the other… “Rogers!” Phillips barked. “Get back in line before I put you in next!” “Yes’sir..” Steve looked at the Colonel before reluctantly stepping back into formation. Addie frowned but reached down and offered her hand to the very surprised recruit. He took it, but his expression was evident that they weren’t done here. “I think you’ve made your point, Colonel.” Addie turned to Phillips. “Oh, shes speaks.” Phillips sneered, barely even registering her comment. “Last time I checked, you volunteered for this project, girl.” “And that means I can leave any time I wish.” She shot back, struggling not to show the bite in her words. “I’m still your superior officer, Barnes.” This made her go quiet, not because he had made the winning goal, but what he had called her. True, she never gave a last name when she first showed up in 1939, but hearing Bucky’s last name used to address her was…frightening as well as euphoric, all at the same time. “Carry on, Lieutenant.” Phillips said with little hinderance as he stalked back to his jeep as Addison stood watching him. So far she had made two enemies in less than an hour. Lovely.
Thursday Night, 1728 hours
Addie was impressed that Steve had kept up decently as the week seemed to get harder in their training. She’d tagged along with Peggy and even participated in some of the marches or runs they did in the afternoons. She wasn’t free to choose which ones she would do, but she did join the WAC’s drills on the other side of camp when she wasn’t with Erskine or Peggy. She’d been…welcomed to say the least by the other men. Catcalls and hollers were normal procedure when she passed the recruits on her way to Erskine’s building. Some of them even had the gall to ask her on a date. All declined. Only Steve was allowed to take her out. And then there was the incident. She and Steve were coming back from a pass and were just about to split to go to their separate parts of the camp, when two men jumped the smaller man, tackling him to the ground with three other larger ones holding Addie back before she could attack any of them. “Let him go!!” She shrieked, trying to kick the knees of her withholders. She made contact with someone, a yelp of shock and pain sounded. “Get her!” Someone barked, awful familiar, but Addie didn’t pay attention, she was too busy yanking off the man who was pining Steve to the dirt. Something in her mind called back to her time with HYDRA, being shoved to the dirt for punishment, the air rushing from her lungs as dust filled them. A cough refusing to come from lack of oxygen— “You animal!” She howled, barreling into the man and grasping his neck. “Addie, don’t-!” She barely heard Steve wail. “You’ll kill him!” She felt hands pry at her wrists, the hands of her victim. He couldn’t pull her vice-like grip away, she felt red cloud her vision. She wouldn’t let anyone hurt Steve…-- “Addison!!” Steve shouted, grasping her shoulders and calling her name to snap her out it. “Not your mission!” She felt the air snap back to the chilly New York air, not the freezing Siberian terrain, she was choking a man to death, someone was calling her name and another was calling for the sargent of the guard— She was in deep trouble…

Timeline: From Age Of Ultron to Civil War
Warning: Old Lady Peggy Carter coming to swoon a few hearts ♥️ She is in her 60s-early 70s
@gcthvile - Elizabeth Stark mentioned ✨
Characters mentioned: Howard, Tony, Jarvis and etc
++—++—-
The hospital has not been a favorable place to be in. Even a nursing home wasn’t sure of the difference between both anymore. But either way they both brought back daring memories and darling one.
Like when Tony was born
Or Hank’s only kid was brought into the world
And for better or worse, seeing Miss Margaret Carter in and out of hospital for different occasions. Some were good like the birth of her children and others were odder cases like an injury or two.
Today, it was a hospital but other people like to called a nursing home.
The nursing home has been brighter more days than not, having new paint jobs done and welcoming decorations put up during special events. Especially a simple well designed holiday.
Plus it helped that the people working there were kind young folk like himself, aside from the adults in their 30s and 40s.
He made his way holding up a beauty of a bouquet filled with daisies and a small little teddy bear holding a heart. He knew it was cheesy but anything to put a smile on the lady he was going to see.
His lady.
The founder of the very organization he sweetly applied to help protect.
The women who drive him nuts and who he loves to annoy just to see her crack a smile.
Mrs. Margaret Carter. Peggy. His Peg.
He knocked on the door, opening it with a soft smile saying, “Where’s my favorite lady? I sorta owe her a date night.”
“Aww my knight in shining armor.” She chuckled in her bed, her curls loosen and smile lines more promptly found, “Your a sap darling.”
“I know but you love me for it.”
“Sadly I do.”
“Sadly?!”
That caused Peggy to laugh at his reaction, patting the bed to sit down next to her. And he happily followed suit, lazily wrap an arm around her, smiling.
“How you doing, doll?” He asked with a soft grin, “Hit anyone lately?”
She playfully slapped his chest and grins, “No. I’m an angel here, they treat me right. I got chicken and white rice today. Yesterday it was Ham.”
“Oh lucky girl you can treated like royalty. Can I stay with you? Technically I should be here with you.”
“No, you wouldn’t like it. You will get bored and impatient here, my darling. You’re time will come, I promised.”
“Nah babe, I kinda stopped looking to see what happened and how I can fix everything.”
“You know, our very own godson suggested you drive off a bridge and see what happened for science purposes once.”
“He’s trying to kill his old man with that scientific idea.”
The two of them laughed out loud at that. He handed her a glass of water, just in case she ended up with a coughing fit but he was lucky, she didn’t.
“How are your kids?” Jason asked with a smile.
“Oh Thomas is good, working on his degree and Lilly is working at the children’s hospital downtown today with her sister.” Peggy explained, “They called and talked for hours.”
“Aww.”
“I wish Tony called or visited me. I’ll pull him by the damn ear one of theses days, i don’t care if he’s grown!”
“Go ahead I ain’t stopping you! You’re his godmother.”
“…I miss this. I miss you, why do you come and see my more often? Like twice a month.”
He sighed, “I’m sorry, I will make it a habit to do so, I promise.”
“Good, because if it was the other way around..” She started but didn’t have to finish her sentence cause he knew.
“I know you would and I love you for it.”
“You Muppet…You know I was always fond of your sister.”
Over the years the older she got, Peggy developed this small habit to ending up randomly blurting out a comment which lead to a different perspective on things or a completely new conversation in general.
He never minded it. He loved it actually, since it showed her mind was still fired up with things to say and she would say her mind no matter what. Especially if it was a witty one hand comment or clever wording on a subject.
It was a good thing as well considering her Alzheimer’s made her forget things, faces and relive memories in her head. So seeing her ramble on a topic, made him smile, because it showed that she’s doing fine.
And due to him spending so much time around her and their friend group, he developed the odd but silly little habit too.
“Oh how so?” He questioned with a smile, surprised that she remembered Dottie that well but then again, she was a chancing point for the brunette.
“She had a special spunkiest to her that I adored.” She exclaimed, with a grin as if she’s looking into a memory, “Gorgeous, honestly a brilliant blonde and she was crazy about me.”
“Ohh really now?”
“Oh please as if you didn’t know. Dottie kept me on my toes and I would say there was a certain amount of chemistry there. She kissed me and it was unexpected but..I sorta liked it.”
He mocked gasped, “Margaret Carter! You shady lady. How long have you had theses thoughts about my sister?”
Peggy smirked, “She only ever asked to be interrogated by me and it made me feel impressed that she respected me.”
“You hated her!”
“But it was rather refreshing chance of cat and mouse between us!”
“She was obsessed with you.”
“And with good reason.”
“Margaret!”
“Hey! You like my friends. Angie was your favorite.”
“She’s was a peach, stubborn, playful and a little snappy. I liked it. But it’s my sister we’re taking about!”
“Oh hush! Let me have my fun memories.”
“Yes ma’am. Go ahead and keep those memories.”
~~~
That’s when Peggy went into another memory that was sweet but stung a little for Jason.
Elizabeth Stark.
Howard’s sister and a love in his life.
Yes, he loved Angie and then Violet for plenty of years. But with her, it was different. Cozy even.
The one that got away from him, that he never got a chance to see if those feeling could actually take full force due to respect he had for brother.
Yes, him and Elizabeth over the years have sneaked off to test out a few short lived dates but it didn’t last long. Even a couple of shared kisses underneath the mistletoe during Christmas were made.
But he always assumed she liked other people in the end and he respected her too much to string her along. So he let her do her own thing and he went along to do his own.
Even though he lived together, raised their nephew under the same roof and saved one another life a plenty of times. They never actually got together, where marriage could’ve been involved one day.
But he did have a promise ring in which he gave her the day before they lost her. She died with that diamond wrapped around her finger and he was left with the tiny box.
And here was Peggy talking about her, as if she was still alive in front of them. It made him smile brightly that her spirt lived on forever.
“You love her?” She asked, resting her head on a pillow watching him pace the room for another glass of water.
He handed her a glass and nodded, “Of course i do. We both love her.”
“It hurts she went down that day…”
“I know Peg, but she still lives on in spirt.”
“..would you have married her?”
“I..”
“Grey.”
She used the nicknamed on him. His middle name is Grey, which is one of many nicknames people refer to him as such but Peggy used it catch his attention at times and she prefer it a lot more.
“Grey.” She repeated with a soft smile, sipping her water.
“I think so.” He replied with a smile.
“Good. I want to be there as the maid of honor when it happens.”
“Maid of honor?”
“Well, I most definitely won’t be standing on your side of the alter, now would I?”
“You sounded so British right now, you know that?”
“I’ll take that as a compliment my darling.”
He grinned and shook his head, “You’re like the sister I never had.”
“You do have a sister.” She added with a grin.
“Did I stutter, Ms. Carter?”
“Oh. Well aren’t you cheeky today? I like it!”
“But I’m serious, you’re like a big sister to me.”
She smiled as she blushed, “Aw darling stop. No please go on, I didn’t think you thought of me that way. I assumed you did but never actually thought it would be confirmed.”
“Oh of course I have. Dottie never treated me like she should have, nor loved me a way a big sister should, leaving me in the dust to pick up the pieces but you didn’t.” He added with a smile.
“You know, after Micheal I never thought I would have anyone else.”
“Hmm.”
“But then you and Howard came along, I felt almost whole. You’re like the little brother, my mother never gave me because she thought two nutty children were enough!”
“Oh really?”
He couldn’t contain his laughter at her sudden choice of words at the end as she smiled laughing around, feeling sportful. She toss a pillow across his face to shut him up as she laughed smirking at the sight of spilled water all over his shirt.
~~~
Yup they were like siblings, despite never actually saying the word out loud before until now. They didn’t have to say they acted like brother and sister, they just did. Every fight, every save, every argument they had and even the small moments between the built a united bond between the pair. Each hug, hand hold and even looks they shared meant more than words combined.
They lost many people over the years, either by death or losing touch due to some kind of issue. They have faced a lot together, she couldn’t imagine a world without Jason in it. After the war, Peggy felt lost and undersign by others, reduced to a lousy sectary or told she wasn’t much less than Captain America’s little lady.
A part of her almost believed it for some time until Howard, Elizabeth and Jason stepped in. 3 of the only people who believed in her at the time.
Yes she knew the three of them for a while but it was Jason who was working at the SSR alongside her with Mr. Jarvis, who fought to keep her on payroll. Encouraging her to keep going, fighting in restaurants together, saving each other’s skin and just having another person to talk to. She didn’t know she needed that at the time. Hell, when Jarvis wasn’t around, he cleaned up her wounds.
But Peggy wouldn’t lie about the times she wanted to punch the blonde for doing something stupid or saying something he shouldn’t have admitted in the first place. She even slapped him a couple of times over the years with a glare.
He would tease her about something like a crush saying she blushed and she would raise an eyebrow yelling, ‘I beg your pardon! I did not do such a thing.’ Or when they would mock each other’s accents in annoyance of the other person.
She didn’t even realized she had a goofy little grin on her face until Jason pointed it out. She rolled her eyes and smiled replying, “I was thinking about all the times you mocked me.”
“I never mocked you. Okay, maybe? Or twice..” He admitted chuckling knowing the truth to that query.
“You would mock me behind my back and I’ll always walk in and catch you.”
“It’s because you always had to make a point or worse run into danger.”
He mocked her English accent stupidly as she gasped, “Good lord man! I don’t sound like that.”
“Oh really? ‘Mr. Jarvis was with me. We’re completely fine!’, ‘I was merely getting the job done.’ Oh and my all time favorite, ‘I made a horrible decision. When’s lunch?’.”
“I hate you. I don’t sound like that and I never treated Jarvis like that!”
“You once came home and Jarvis was hit in the back with a dart, that knocked him out cold.”
“He was fine!”
“He was hilariously asleep and thought he was hallucinating ponies for the rest of the afternoon.”
“To be fair, for being my right hand he wasn’t the best for escaping targets..”
“He said and I quote, ‘Oh mummy it's the biggest horsey ever!’”
That got a real laugh out of Peggy as she remembered it so clearly, Jarvis was laying down on the couch with his eyes closed after saying, ‘Jarvelous!’ Then he fell right on the thick ground outside of the house, afterward they brought him inside to see if he was aright. Which he wasn’t.
Jason and Daniel questioned the situation saying she should’ve called for backup as she told them, ‘I did have back up. Mr. Jarvis was with me!’
Cue in, Jarvis lazily laying down on the couch pointing his finger muttering ever so clearly, ‘Oh mummy, it’s the biggest horsey ever!’
Jason couldn’t help but snorted as he got flashbacks of the memories in his head. Him and Peggy also remember the time Jarvis knocked over a two time Oscar nominee, Whitney Frost, with one of Howard’s precious car.
Elizabeth was just in shock as Howard looked out the window and yelled, ‘Jarvis, you just hit a woman with my car!’
‘I know, sir’ Edwin Jarvis said with a simple tone.
‘She’s a two-time Oscar nominee.’
‘Miss Frost is quite resilient. She’s fine. Trust me.’
He laughed remembering the look that Elizabeth and Peggy shared conveying shock but with a mix of pride towards the accident. They were all almost sued for it though but then again the women caused them so many issues and she basically killed her husband. With was also deemed as Jarvis’ revenge on the same women who came to their home and shoot his wife—Ana Jarvis lived of course, with a few minor yet sad complications to her surgery—but still!
Everything was fine after that, she was put always for good for her insane behavior and things slowly went back to normal for a while.
~~
Jason and Peggy spent the rest of the day together in her hospital room chatting, drinking gentle coffees and snacking on the fruits that were served to her room. On occasion, a call from friends or relatives would appear to be made, but it wasn’t immediately apparent what was being said over the phone.
The two of them even stayed in peaceful silence as they watched whatever was available on the tv screen.
All in all, it was nice.
They may be old enough and oddly fit for this position in the universe but they wouldn’t have it any other way.

Any Fan's Dream, Part 8
Any Fan's Dream Masterlist
Synopsis:
When you look around and see Avengers Tower in front of you and Peter Parker beside you, you wonder how the hell you managed to get into the MCU.
Taglist: @secretly-sirens, @zeeader, @imdoingathingmom, @x-theolivia, @ainsley-official, @huntress-artemiss, @hoohoohope, @ourgoddessathena, @wiintaersoldier
Sorry if I missed anyone, please just message me again and I'll add you.
You rubbed your face, hands running down your face wearily. It wasn't that you felt bad(well, you kinda did, but that wasn't what had you looking so tired) it was that you hadn't slept in 48 hours and you were glad Peter had been gone yesterday because otherwise he would've made you sleep and your mind was far too occupied to rest.
You were running on anxiety and coffee, not the most healthy combination, but it kept you awake so whatever. You hadn't let yourself go completely though, showering to make sure you didn't get all stinky and nasty and "your" parents had made sure that you had eaten. You were thankful to them. They had been there for you the whole time, your mother taking off work yesterday and your father bringing you comfort foods. Both had made it clear that they were there for you when you needed someone, and you had never felt more grateful(even if it was bittersweet because you knew that your real parents would never do so).
You heard the knock at your bedroom door and responded with a: "Come in."
In walked Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff, surprising you because you had thought it was one of "your" parents.
The smile on Natasha's face faltered when she saw the mess your room was in, and how exhausted you looked. Steve was so distracted by grief to notice the deep bags under your eyes, they were big enough to hold Tony's ego in.
"What happened?" Natasha asked, eyebrows knitted together, concern in her voice.
"I-" you rubbed the nape of your nape, "-don't know what you mean." You weren't sure what to say, not wanting them to see your distress at the situation and worried about revealing too much.
She gestured at you and your room and you forced a laugh. "Oh, that. Yeah, I'm not very good with keeping my room clean." You didn't even know why you bothered with trying to hide your emotions, there was no way Natasha bought your lies.
"So, uh, how did you guys get in?"
Steve answered you, "your mom let us through."
"Reluctantly," Natasha added, "I didn't think she was going to until your dad came to the door and started fan-boying over the old man." She jutted a thumb at the super-soldier at her side, trying to lighten whatever tense atmosphere permeated the room. It managed to bring a weak grin to your face, but had no effect on the distracted look on Steve's face.
"Oh, really?" you responded, "I hope that wasn't too bad, Steve."
The excitement your dad had felt was definitely understandable. You had almost passed out when you had hugged like, any, of the Avengers. But who could blame you? The people you had looked up to, the heroes, stood before you so what exactly was the right reaction?
"It wasn't." Steve's eyes seemed to focus on you for a second before darting away. "I came by to tell you that I'm leaving for a while."
Your lips twitched as you tried to keep up the fake smile, the effort a struggle mentally and emotionally just as much as it was physical. Oh, but you were used to that struggle, the hiding of your true emotions, a familiar battle that you grappled with long before appearing in the MCU. The only problem was, these people were not just classmates or passing strangers, they were your heroes.
You knew exactly why he was leaving for a couple days.
Peggy.
Or as you really should say, considering the woman was one hell of a badass and deserved your complete and utter respect, Agent Margaret Elizabeth Carter.
She had just died.
After the Sokovia Accords discussion, Steve had received a call, exactly like in the movie.
"Oh," you spoke softly.
You let your smile drop, hoping that they wouldn't question the abrupt change in expression and would leave it at the fact that Steve was leaving. You were sad that he was leaving, but your sorrow was more from how much pain he was in than in that you wouldn't see him for a little while. Not even mentioning the massive amount of grief that hit you when you thought about her. She was a hero to you, like the others, but she was such a badass and didn't take any shit about being a woman. She was a role-model for you and it broke your heart that she was gone.
He left, barely looking at you as he stepped through the doorway. His shoulders were stooped, almost like he was folding in on himself in the hopes that he would shrink to nothing. In the moment before he turned away from you, you couldn't get over how vulnerable he looked. Even before the serum when he was 90-something pounds of righteous fury he still had this strength to him. Sure, he wasn't built or tall and his body was frail, but he was never a weak person.
Your eyesight began to get blurry, causing you to blink rapidly in the hopes of stifling your tears before you broke down again. It wasn't fair, you had finally managed to calm yourself and now this brought tears to the surface so quickly.
You managed to hold back until Natasha left, her concerned actions not going unnoticed by you and only making it harder for you to hold back tears. It wasn't easy, but after they were both gone, you managed to calm down completely and center yourself without breaking down again.
You steeled yourself, breathing deeply and steadying your erratic breaths. Crying was fine, it was healthy. Everyone needed to break down sometime so they could build themselves back up and it was your time to get to work. Natasha, Tony, Steve....they had all helped you get through tough times back home, they had saved you more times than you could count, and now it was your turn to save them.
~~
You walked into the workroom, a frown on your face when you looked around and Tony wasn't there. Every time you had come into the workroom, Tony had been there, he never left you alone(he was afraid you'd blow up the building after....that's not important) so it was beyond weird that he wasn't there to greet you.
You checked your phone, looking to see if you had received any messages from Tony to stay home. Your last messages with him were still the same though.
3 days ago
You: i wont be able to go in for a couple of days
Stanky Playboy: ok, just text me when you're coming back
You: k
2 days ago
Stanky Playboy: how are you, kid?
You: im good hbu
Stanky Playboy: I'm fine
You: cool
47 minutes ago
You: im coming in for the internship today
Stanky Playboy: about time. I need someone to be sarcastic with, kid.
You cringed at how dry the conversations had been while you had been AWOL from the internship, but there were no new messages so you pocketed your phone.
You walked around the room, searching for Tony in increasingly unlikely places(he's Tony Stark. Maybe he has a secret passageway in one of his drawers, who knows?)
"FRIDAY, where is Mr. Stank?"
"I'm sorry, what did you just call me?" Tony asked, hands on his hips in a classic sassy pose. He stood in the doorway of the workroom before entering further.
"A nickname? Only cool people get nicknames."
"I am not a 'Stank'."
"Stan Lee would beg to differ," you mumbled.
"What was that?" Tony questioned, an eyebrow raised at you.
"Pants leave wood leg sniffer."
"You couldn't have at least tried to make it sound like a real sentence?"
You shook your head. "Too much quick thinking."
"Ah," Tony nodded. "Well, I have a surprise for you. FRIDAY, hit it."
The lights went dim, a spotlight shining on a wall that was sliding open(so there was a secret passageway!) and out flew an Iron Man suit. But not just any Iron Man suit, it was yours. AC/DC blared on the speakers, accompanying the appearance of the suit.
Your jaw dropped in disbelief as it landed in front of you, standing there. You turned to look at Tony, who was grinning at your expression.
"You....you finished-I...holy shit....this is....this is SO COOL!"
You bounced on the balls of your feet excitedly, ecstatic at seeing it in front of you. The grin on your face was brighter than the lightning Thor summoned, pure unadulterated joy making you glow with happiness.
You looked at Tony and he just had a soft smile on his face when he looked at you, something gentle and tender in his eyes when he looked at you. He couldn't help how you had wormed your way into his heart and for all his sarcasm and snark, he couldn't deny that you were like a daughter to him.
You threw your arms around him, surprising him with the sudden act of affection. He stiffened for a second then relaxed, wrapping his arms around you in what he hoped was a good hug.
"That's mine?"
He nodded. "Yeah, it's yours."
"Really?"
Your voice was hushed, hesitant. You were scared of the happiness. Worried that as soon as you accepted it, you would be taken back to your world. You would wake up and find out it had all just been a beautiful dream. Being in the world you were in now, you were so afraid of going back. Back there, you had never felt such happiness. Of course, you hadn't felt the stress and worry and concern, but the positive emotions far outweighed the negative ones in your eyes.
"Yeah, kid. Really."
And you squeezed your arms around him just a little tighter, hoping that the embrace would anchor you to this reality. When you weren't zapped back to your world, you let a couple of tears of relief fall, so damn happy about where you were.
You let go(not because you wanted to, you could hug any of the Avengers for hours. You just didn't want to make Tony uncomfortable), and smiled at Tony, wiping the tears from your face.
"Thank you so much," you said earnestly.
And there it was again, that small grin that showed just how much he truly cared about you being happy. "Don't thank me, kid. You made most of it. I just finished it."
"But like-" you looked at the suit, "-it is so incredibly awesome. And so are you, Mr. Stank." You grinned at him, all sincerity and happiness.
He smiled back and patted your shoulder. "Come on, kid. Test it out."
You almost stopped breathing. "Can I really?"
"No, you can't. And we spent all that time making it just so it can stand there and look pretty." Tony answered, "of course you can test it out. I didn't bring it out just to torture you."
Your eyes roved over the magnificent machine standing before you, excitement and disbelief mixing in an intoxicating mixture of emotions. Every joint of the suit gleamed underneath the lights of the workroom, the metal shining in a beautiful display. It was like the suit Tony had in Captain America Civil War, the technology not yet at the level it was in Infinity War and Endgame, but it was still amazingly cool.
You moved closer to it, lifting your arm up and reaching out hesitantly and brushing your fingertips over the gorgeous machine gently. Realistically, you knew that it should be able to withstand something much stronger than a simple brush of fingertips over the metal, but you didn't want to see a single smudge or scratch across the amazing device. Tony Stark had worked with you and finished it for you, giving it to you in an incredible decision that you would be forever grateful for. You were not about to let any damage befall something so important to you, especially knowing that Tony had put his time and effort into making it just for you.
"You know it's made of a gold-titanium alloy, right?" Tony prompted, "it's not gonna shatter from you touching it."
"I know," you breathed. "But I can't just be careless, I mean- you worked on this. I have an Iron Man suit. Holy shit. I have an Iron Man suit! That is so cool!! But like...because of how cool it is, I have to take really good care of it, you know?"
Tony laughed. "You do you, kid."
You spent a couple of minutes circling the machine, looking over every beautiful part of it. Tony eventually managed to get you to actually turn it on, not that you didn't want to, you just didn't want to end up, like, breaking it or something because that would just suck.
You thought of something:
Later on, most likely you would end up going to space at some point. The regular Iron Man suits can't do that.
"Is there any way we can make the suit so it can work in space?" you asked Tony.
He tilted his head. "You are not going to space."
"But- what if I want to visit Thor?" you questioned. "Or if we make some new alien friends?"
Ooh what about Gamora and Rocket and Groot and Drax hehe Drax is funny-
"We're not making any more alien friends."
"You never know," you said. "Come on, pleaseeeee?"
You smiled at him in what you hoped was a convincing way, clasping your hands together in a pleading gesture. You tried to do the puppy eye thing that TV people could do but stopped because damn it felt weird.
Tony sighed. "Fine."
"Yesssss!!" you cheered, pumping your fists. "Thank you, Mr. Stank!"
"Yeah, whatever, kid."
For the rest of the day, you and Tony worked on the suit, talking and hanging out like it had been before the proposal of the Sokovia Accords. Occasionally, one of you would remember all the shit that was going down, but for the most part, the two of you managed to have a genuinely fun time. It was fun and different and a very welcome distraction from the turbulent feelings that the shitshow had stirred up.
And when you waved a good-bye to Tony and thanked him again for the amazing gift he had given you, you were still all smiles. You couldn't help it, not only had you received a gift from one of your heroes, but that gift had given you a better chance to change the timeline.
He hadn't just given you an amazing present, he had given you another tool to save all of your heroes.

Peggy looked beautiful today, standing and chatting outside your office in her suit. You just stared mindlessly, remembering the evening you shared not long ago. Her red lipstick is still all over your white pillowcase, and you can't remove the stain. Much like the imprint she's left on your senses.
"You're truly a work of art, Agent." She told you before sucking on your nipples hungrily. It had been a long time coming after eye-fucking each other in meetings since you started at S.H.I.E.L.D.
A knock at your office door broke your trance, and you found yourself wiping away drool with the back of your hand before calling them in. Of course, it had to be the star of your head movie. "Am I interrupting something?" Peggy asked thoughtfully. You started shaking your head, maybe a little too much.
"No, not at all. How can I help you, Captain?"
"I wanted to go over the plan for our mission later if that's alright?"
"Oh, of course! Go for it."
As Peggy started speaking strategy, you found yourself lost in her lips and body movement as she pointed to places on the map you hung on your wall with her right index finger, dragging it slowly from point to point. Before long, you found your eyes dropping to her pelvic region.
"Don't be gentle." You told her before she buried her cock in you with a shallow grunt, bottoming out as you stretched around her girth.
"Earth to Agent Spacecase!" She interrupted your daydream once more, catching onto your not-listening.
"Apologies, Captain. I've had a lot on my mind." You admit, trying to avoid the detail of "a lot" being the time she fucked you senseless. It was then you remembered how you got to that point in the first place.
"Just got a lot of my mind."
"Then let me help you forget for a while."
As if it was a code phrase, Peggy went to your office window and let down the shades. "Stand up." She urged. You did as instructed, unsure of where it was going but delighted all at once. She moved slowly and gracefully behind you until you were trapped between her and your desk.
A broad hand moved your hair out of the way of the left side of your neck before you felt hot breath next to your ear. "You don't care to hear about the mission, do you?" She spoke softly, bringing a hand under your skirt and between your things. Her middle finger plunged into the dampness of your underwear, roughly stuffing the cotton between your slit.
It was almost enough to make you forget where you were as she set the fire. You could feel her length growing hard against your ass, rutting on you as she felt your cunt.
"Peggy," You said breathlessly, nearly ready to protest until she took her free hand and shoved you forward, bending you at your waist over your desk. A cup of pens and a file flew to the floor as your hands braced on the wood.
"I know we're in your office. You'll need to be quiet for me, darling." She said, sounding completely casual. Her fingers curled under your skirt and pulled it up, leaving your panty-clad ass exposed. She gripped your cheeks, running loving hands over your roundness and admiring the red lace. "My favorite color. I'll have to keep these on."
Just as you found your breath, you heard a shift behind you and felt her cock spring free and slap against your right buttock. Peggy then moved your panties over, exposing your cunt to the open air. You shivered as you felt her grind between your asscheeks, making herself good and hard for you.
"Please." You let out, nearly whispering the single plea. Peggy wasted no time giving you what you wanted, harshly slamming her cock into your dripping hole. "Fuck!" You said, using every bit of self-control you had to keep it under a yelp.
"Be quiet, love." She demanded, stilling her cock inside you, getting used to the tightness around her as she yanked at your underwear, stretching against your hip and crook of your thigh until you heard a loud rip. "I really did love those." She said before reaching over for your body and stuffing the wad of your own panties into your mouth as a gag.
Peggy started ramming in and out of you, pistoning her throbbing length as you quietly wail into the thin, ripped fabric inside your lips. "Such a good girl for me, as always." She praised. "Been thinking about making you cum again."
The more she pumped, the harder it became to stand. You felt your knees begin to buckle under you, and Peggy noticed just as fast, wrapping an arm under your pelvis and holding you up as she fucked you roughly. You continued to moan and cry, tasting yourself on your panties.
"Your cunt was made for me. So tight." She rambled. Every word from that English accent pushed you further and further, ready to combust. "You're gonna cum for me. I can feel it. Do it now, darling." She commanded.
Your orgasm burst through your core with a gush as you beat your hand on your desk, needing to express your pleasure. Your wetness coated every inch of skin between you and ran down your bare thighs as Peggy continued to fuck you through it.
"That's a good fucking girl." She praised more as her pounding grew faster. "I'm gonna fill you up, love."
You felt her warmth fill you as she came with a low moan, deeply pushing herself into you to ensure she came as deep in you as possible. A couple of sloppy, slow thrusts followed before she pulled out of you with a pop. You clamped your thighs tightly together and stood, not wanting to lose any of it as you removed the wad from your mouth.
"Now that that's out of your system, shall we continue with strat?" Peggy offered between heavy breaths.

Summary: The four times Peggy apologises to Angie, and the one time she doesn’t. With an extra few chapters of Angie being (always) right.
Or: Peggy falling in love with another scrappy Brooklyn kid, in a mostly-canon re-write of Agent Carter season 1 and a non-canon-re-write of season 2, because we all know how that went down. Domestic shenanigans from New York to L.A.
//
Peggy Carter pushes open the door and takes a corner seat, still feeling like she’s somehow betraying her Queen by being publicly seen drinking coffee twice in a week (and /enjoying/ it, too). Angie spots her from across the Automat and comes hurrying over, a huge, shit-eating grin plastered to her face. “English!” She bends down and pulls the woman into a tight, brief hug.
When Angie finally pulls away, Peggy isn’t sure what she’s more concerned about – the fact that this waitress doesn’t seem to understand the meaning of personal space (of which she herself places great importance) or the fact that she actually finds herself enjoying the said invasion of personal space. She clears her throat. “I have a name, you know,” she says. “It’s Peggy. Peggy Carter.”

In secret.
The One Where Clint is Wanda’s Weakness (ao3) - JinxQuickfoot T, 5k
Summary: Agatha dragged her hostage around in front of her, yanking the strings so he was forced up onto his knees. “Told you I had a very special surprise for you. Now—standdown, dear.”
Slowly, still not quite believing this was real, Wanda lowered her hands, trying to find her voice again. “Clint?” ————————————– So that’s where Clint was during WandaVision
The Third Option (ao3) - Uncertainty_Principle M, 220k
Summary: Homecoming A/U.
Ben and May divorced before Peter’s parents died, so when Ben is murdered Peter goes into foster care. It takes just a tiny taste of superpowers for Peter to decide he doesn’t want to put up with his horrible foster father anymore—the streets are infinitely more appealing. All he wants is to be Spider-Man anyway.
So he leaves.
Simple.
Simple, that is, until Iron Man needs Spider-Man’s help. Peter isn’t about to turn down an opportunity to fight alongside Tony Freaking Stark, but he also isn’t going to let his hero know that his recruit is a fifteen-year-old homeless dropout. So they strike a deal. Peter will help Tony. In return, the mask stays on.
And that’s when things get complicated.
Three Deaths (ao3) - glorious_spoon peggy/daniel T, 1k
Summary: Three ways it could have gone for Jack, Peggy, and Daniel, and how it went instead. Inspired by this prompt.
Two Hours (ao3) - parkermunson_bright G, 1k
Summary: Tony’s in a meeting. It’s been two hours. You can only imagine how bored out of his mind he is. Luckily a certain Spider can get him out of this.

Pretty sure it's mostly common knowledge that Peggy's classic red lipstick in Agent Carter is Beasame's Red Velvet. She wears it pretty constantly in both seasons.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/66a6345988301b5a04f1de65a9070219/c6733d08784099cd-a6/s540x810/b81eb0993966f1e8aa4d857be9b51546861c9cbc.jpg)
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/d3fedc0cab388f1ca3f5ead3856af9eb/c6733d08784099cd-6a/s540x810/6734b4048949ab1ed1fcac04a1f132b7cd119b46.jpg)
I've wondered of they used it in TFA too but kinda doubt it. Maybe Age of Ultron. would be cool if they used it in Endgame and/or Multiverse of Madness. But what no one talks about is Peggy's lipsticks that aren't red. Besame also has a shade called Dusty Rose and it's included in their Agent Carter collection. I SWEAR I've read somewhere that she wore it in season 2 but now I can't find anything official the same way they advertise Red Velvet as Peggy's Color. But I'm pretty positive she did wear it in season 2.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/439d21f95bee5aad4bcd939079ff190e/c6733d08784099cd-07/s540x810/b20fe4579f3f0e8f4b0dd9231caa53bf14ef4ba7.jpg)
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/7eb16297bfca5668f46a192e0f25ce6a/c6733d08784099cd-97/s540x810/bc45cda4442d3849899679f3b8f243b3ac68ea15.jpg)
The shade is from 1969 which is a bit far off but Besame doesn't have many pink options. Peggy pretty much only wears pink lipstick if she's wearing pink clothes that Red Velvet would clash with. Besame has another shade from 1952, still a few years later but closer, called Wild Orchid. I can't find exactly when it was released, but an article from February 2017 said it had previously been a summer shade/stocked sporadically. Idk how long it takes to replicate decades old lipstick colors but I would assume they had it at their disposal in 2015 based on that. And it really looks like Peggy's wearing it in episodes 1x03 and 1x08.

I'm rewatching season 2 rn and seeing if I can identify any colors on her and other characters. The thing is I don't know definitively if they had Wild Orchid while making the show and Red Velvet is the only one they always connect to Agent Carter. But if you ask me Peggy's colors are Red Velvet, Dusty Rose for light pink, and Wild Orchid for a deeper pink
