#just finished act 1 of arcane s2#i've never devoured something so wonderfully nutritious and delicious#i was lukewarm on caitvi (and caitlyn as a character) but boy oh boy i am so into their drama#she just skyrocketed like 10 places in my ranking of arcane characters#shows you how making a character plot essential AND giving her ties to the main themes in your show can do wonders for them#ehem ehem#and the parallels between silco and jinx are so fucking good#i was pretty meh on silco (outside his relationship with vander) but this made me like him more!!! on retrospect!!!!#i get it everyone. every relationship is a million times better when it's fucked up#GOD!!!!!!! this show knows me in such a deep level.........#sorry i'm over the moon i'll find something to grumble about later#imagine having a show that looks THIS good and has such impeccable direction and production value#AND also happens to have an incredibly interesting and thought-provoking story played by wonderful characters#is this what happiness feels like
