"omg yass Furina is such a girlfailure! HaHqhAhaa 🤭 Just a silly gaaal!" The Furina who assumed the role of the hydro archon for 500 years? The Furina who endured 500 years of isolation and paranoia? The Furina who felt as though she has no one to turn to, no one who would have her back, no one she could possibly trust and unfold to? The Furina who watched her people sink right before her eyes helplessly and yet she managed to not let it completely devour her no matter how painful it was? The Furina who did not even dream of receiving an apology for the things she had to endure? The Furina who managed to keep this act up for 500 years? The Furina who was just a human, in each and every way and yet she kept herself up regardless of how drained she was? The Furina who actually cares about her people and her nation, and yet some people have the nerve to call her an horrible archon?
Yeahhh don't y'all ever use that term for her as if she hasn't been enduring 500 years of something that none of y'all would probably manage to keep up with, including me of course. Don't y'all fucking dare use those cheap labels on her. ^^

iansan relevance right off the bat let's fucking go
#personal stuff#delete later#cannot believe she's electro. cyno treatment#also nice to see they're at least making an effort with the npcs if not the playable characters. hm.#ALSO I WAS RIGHT ABOUT THE FROGS AND SQUIRRELS BEING RELEVANT TO NATLAN. HAH.#we finally get to see what the pilgrimage referred to in the pyro gemstone is!!!#natlan being entangled with the abyss. that's fun. looks like we get to go there / a tainted part of natlan and get trapped!!#really appreciating the idea that natlan is the nation of war because it's constantly at war *with the abyss* and not with itself#and that its competitions are to keep the abyss at bay#CAPITANOOO. HIIII . I'M TWIRLING MY HAIR. I LOVE HIS DESIGN.#when he threw off that coat i went WHOOO. also my man how were you not dying of heatstroke in that#CRYO CAPITANO...#the pyro archon is giving lantern vibes except i KNOW she's going to have a better personality and playstyle. trust#also the big fight being between a pyro claymore user and a cryo sword wielder....... don't look at me.#something REALLY interesting to me is that throughout the entire trailer the traveler's ornaments are still glowing blue for hydro#do we not get to resonate with a statue and get pyro? do we have to earn it? is it just an oversight? i'm intrigued#OHHH OKAY they clarified. we can't get it right away. interesting#they say it's because of the abyss. i wonder if that has anything to do with childe's vision not working in fontaine? interesting#capitano *is* ranked first. don't talk to me i'm inconsolable#not that he's ranked first necessarily i think he's cool as hell i just hate that the theorists were right on this one#bc the second half of that theory is always dumb as hell. head in hands#no xianyun rerun..........#it's fine i have more time to save for her. i guess#the new natlan forgeables look cool. really funny to me that the pyro archon is using one in the trailer...#like ik it's probably because they haven't modeled her actual weapon but man. could you imagine#[looked at leaks] they're def and hp based... thank god. yun jin is getting treated well#also i bitched about the liyue > natlan skip but then tumblr axed my tags. fine. it's whatever i just don't like it#also the extra benefits are fine. THEY FIXED THE WEAPON BANNER that's all i care about. free 5 star means free diluc cons for me#THE MUSIC THOUGH. THE MUSIC IS REALLY GOOD

how does it feel to get mr. chief alchemist 👁️ and the fact that your bias is focalors, that seems like quite the difference,,,
good luck shiro :D
"To be honest, I don't hate Albedo. I can't, not when I barely know the alchemist, anyways." They shrug, unconsciously moving their eyes away as they recall the few memories of Albedo in their mind. "I just find it weird how he can spend so much time on Dragonspine."

as much as i love the "furins not actually being the hydro archon" plot bcs so much of furina's bravado relies on her being the ruling god of her country
im so glad genshin also killed the theory that neuvillette was the actual hydro archon

eyes of silver and gold
Tumblr media
soulmate au! everyone has heterochromia, one eye is your natural colour the other is your soulmate’s natural colour. once you meet eye contact, all eyes return to its natural colour.
featuring: neuvillette
word count: 1075
cw: soulmate!au, reader is a liyue adeptus, gn!reader, reader’s eyes are GOLD because GOLD, traveler can be lumine or aether (they/them pronouns), intentional lowercase, not proofread
author’s notes: super duper rushed IM SORRY,,,, this could be written better but yeah 😭😭 i’ll do better next time !!! (i love soulmate aus)
_________ ׂׂૢ་༘࿐
neuvillette blinked at the reflection of himself on the mirror for the nth time. it was not the first time he had done so, but every time he observed the eyes of the citizens of fontaine it made him question what made his soulmate so special.
because one thing for sure, he was almost certain his soulmate was not human.
the chief justice knew the eyes of a human when he sees one. their round iris, and the common eye colours of brown or blue could easily tell that they’re merely human.
however, his soulmate’s eye replacing his left one did not look like the eyes of a human. it was an unnatural colour, usually similar to the eye colours of those who wield a vision. what caught his attention though, was the pattern of his soulmate’s eye that stood out amongst the others. like how his eyes are of a dragon’s, and lady furina’s eyes are of dewdrops, his soulmate’s eye, igniting a warm colour, shouted gold.
the first thing he had in mind was the land of gold where the geo element usurper resided. he knew liyue was a land of the adepti, where many immortals who once battled in the archon war still lived in the mountains of amber.
yet for centuries living as the hydro dragon, he had never once encountered his soulmate.
was it because of the distance between them? it was understandable, after all, for an adeptus to remain loyal to their homeland.
he had visited liyue a few times but failed to find this soulmate of his. maybe they were not residing in liyue after all?
neuvillette chose to let fate decide.
he heaved a small sigh as he turned away from the mirror, back to his office desk to continue checking the documents for the next trial.
“monsieur neuvillette!” a loud, squeaky voice which he knew belonged to a certain floating alien chimed through the door. he watched as surprisingly, only paimon, flew her way into his office with an excited expression.
he blinked confusedly at her unusual demeanour. “miss paimon,” he called, “how may i assist you today?”
he allowed her to take her time as she panted heavily. “your—“ she looked up at him and he swore he saw her eyes sparkling a lot brighter than usual. “my?” he asked.
“soulmate! we found your soulmate!! they’re outside!” paimon exclaimed excitedly.
neuvillette’s world stopped for a millisecond, for he had not known that his soulmate had just traveled kilometres from the southern liyue to the northern fontaine. he did not realize his legs moved on his own, allowing paimon to drag him by the sleeve towards the outside of the opera house.
“monsieur?” he heard paimon called before snapping himself out of his thoughts. he noticed her looking at him in concern, realizing he had stopped his tracks right by the door. “are you okay?” she asked.
is he okay? he wondered the same.
he felt an uncomfortable feeling in his chest, as if someone— or something, was banging the drums inside. he felt the drums getting louder and faster, and he could not feel his legs anymore.
he inhaled sharply. “i’m perfectly fine, miss paimon,” he paused in between, “well, let’s meet my… soulmate, shall we?”
his gaze turned towards the entrance of the door, sensing the melusine looking at him eagerly as she patiently waited for him to get ready. “monsieur neuvillette! are you going out?” she asked.
he nodded. “yes, i am. thank you very much.”
the melusine by the door clapped her hands excitedly as she immediately skipped towards the door knob before opening it for him. “well then, enjoy meeting them, monsieur!”
neuvillette watched the door opens before the light outside instantly came greeting him in an embrace.
and the first thing that entered his vision was a pair of heterochromatic eyes that matches his.
you were there with the traveler, dressed in foreign attire not befitting of fontaine. your vision clinging onto your waist like a proud medal. you were by the entrance, surrounded by melusines who were saying how your eyes match their chief justice. he watched how your confused expression tries to have a conversation with the little melusines while the traveler laughed next to you.
the cute moment did not last when the melusines notice the presence of their chief justice, immediately rushing towards him excitedly wanting to ask him about his soulmate. yet his widened eyes had locked with yours, watching your eye adorned with his blueish-purple colour slowly changing back to gold— the familiar gold that greeted him every morning in front of the mirror.
“monsieur neuvillette! your eyes!” he heard a melusine exclaimed, their hands holding his sleeve as they jumped happily.
he blinked confusedly at the tugs of his sleeves when a melusine appeared with a mirror in their hands. they showed a reflection of himself where his eyes were back to his original form— the mixture of silver, blue and purple.
he averted his attention to his soulmate who seemed to be doing the same. you were looking at your own reflection, realizing your eye has reverted to its original form. he watched your surprised expression until you noticed his attention had diverted towards you.
your flushed expressions felt a little foreign to the iudex of fontaine, but he was certainly relieved at the sight of your comfortable state in a foreign region.
he gave you a sincere smile as he placed a hand over his chest as a form of greeting.
“greetings. i’m neuvilette, chief justice and iudex of fontaine. it’s a pleasure to meet you.”
since birth, neuvillette never understood the concept of soulmates until he was given a chance to experience such phenomenon. from when he had awoken to a change in his appearance to encountering the partner that was given to him by fate, it was a surprise that a being like him could have one too.
in fact, his own soulmate was not mortal either. an adeptus originating from the land of gold, you began your exploration in the continent with the fellow traveler when they could not stop persuading you to follow them to meet someone.
a smile was formed on your lips in return as you introduced your name to him, which sounded nice to his ears. “and it’s a pleasure to meet you too, mister neuvillette.”
maybe he could give this concept a try.

You're the Most Beautiful Person I've Ever Seen
♡♡-Request: Blind reader who tells them they're the most beautiful person they've ever seen after touching their face for the first time.
Content: Blind reader, gn!reader, fluff. Furina. Wriothesley. Neuvillette. Drabble.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Furina
You were lying on her lap, the tea table still full with some delicious treats as you simply stared up at her. Though you couldn't see her, you got the general sense of where she was looking. And you knew she was contemplating which dessert to partake in first.
"Hmmm…mm?" She made a noise of questioning, your fingers poking at her shoulder. "Come here," you said softly.
You could feel her body hesitate but lean down, your hands now resting on her cheeks. Immediately they felt warm. "Ahem. What do you think you're-"
"You're the most beautiful person I've ever seen."
Immediately, you felt yourself knocked out of her lap as she stood abruptly. At least that's what you heard. "H-How bold of you to say these things to the Hydro Archon!" You shook your head. Dramatic as ever no matter how long you'd been with one another.
Wriothesley
"Thank you," he blew over the top of his tea, taking a tentative sip before setting it on his desk. You felt for his desk before placing yourself on it, legs dangling as you looked forward.
You heard him chuckle before offering a hand, placing it on your thigh.
Of course, you took it graciously. Feeling the scars that littered his hands, moving up to his arms, and eventually to his face. You cupped his cheeks, thumb rubbing across the scar underneath his eye. "You're the most beautiful person I've ever seen." You felt his body stiffen but soon relax, a deep chuckle rumbling through his chest.
"Is that so? Regrettably, I'll have to disagree. I'm staring at the most beautiful person right now."
Neuvillette
"My apologies. I have a few more documents to file and then we can head to dinner." You shook your head, using your hands to feel around for a chair to sit in. "It's okay Neuvi, I don't mind waiting." You rested your chin in your hands as you listened to him shuffle papers. Vaguely seeing his outline but that was all.
About an hour later he let out a sigh, pushing his chair back as he walked over to you.
"That took longer than expected but I'm ready now." He held out his hand, brushing it softly against your cheek so you'd know he was there. You took it, pulling yourself up. And with the other, you pressed your hands to his cheeks. "You're the most beautiful person I've ever seen."
You vaguely heard a cough and him clearing his throat. "Is that so? I thank you for your kind words…I find you to be the most beautiful. But perhaps I am biased."

Neuvillette and his arranged marriage with fem!reader - NSFW
Tumblr media
Summary: so... Furina is such a gossipy and she's kinda boring so she wants Neuvillette to marry to some random girl that can be a challenge for him... would he like this traveler?
TW: smut. Has a plot. Kinda angst? p i v. Breeding kink, praising. Unprotected sex with this daddy judge. I think that's all... MINORS DO NOT INTERACT PLEASE JUST KEEP SCROLLING.
🎨: @zlidbhypy/@zljdbhypy
💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦
The judge had lived long enough to be carried away by appearances, his image in society was expected of a man with his profession, with his knowledge and his stature. However, in the eyes of Lady Furina, as much a lover of spectacle and scandal as possible, the great judge needed a slightly more modern image to present to the citizens of Fontaine-and perhaps to bring a little gossip as well.
The idea had consumed her so much that at the moment she met you she could think of nothing else but arranging an engagement with Monsieur Neuvillette. You were the living image of what she was looking for: a young woman of society, a foreigner with a wide knowledge of the vast continent and above all, ambitious.
There was a flash that Lady Furina highlighted in you, a furious soul difficult to tame, a challenge for the great judge. How fun it would be to see that: the distinguished gentleman try to control the disdain of his future wife, lover of saucers with spicy mixes, so friendly to those with vision Pyro... almost as contrary to him.
You met Neuvillette a day before the wedding, when Lady Furina had given him the wonderful news that he would marry you. He could not refuse, not the Archon, and she was aware of that-that made the matter more fun.
Neuvillette looked serene during the announcement, did not give the Archon the joy of a grimace of disgust... of course not, he was not like that...
On the wedding day rain fell so much as to drown the neighboring nations, tormenting those present of the ceremony. Monsieur Neuvillette was outside the compound, admiring the horizon, yearning for the freedom he possessed years before. To this had its existence been reduced? To be a puppet for the entertainment of the Archon? To tie himself for life to a woman he didn’t even know? If only he could return to his old form... spread his wings and get out of that place...
"The rain is wonderful," you exclaimed beside him, tearing from his chest an impression he managed to hide. "I hope the tears of the Hydro dragon are of happiness for the wedding and not of misery".
"They’re just legends, stories for children," he said, though an inch of him, deep down, was delighted by the idea that unlike the rest of Fontaine’s inhabitants, you didn’t dislike the rain... the one he was provoking...
"All legends have some truth in them," you whispered, giving him a sincere smile.
The ceremony had been short because of the rain, yet your happiness was overflowing. Your dress was drenched, your hair was alike... Everything was ruined, Lady Furina kept saying it, and yet you seemed to be living the best day of your life. Neuvillette could not look away from you at any moment, you had bewitched him, a single phrase had sufficed to achieve that...
The room was spacious, exquisitely decorated, illuminated to depth, the details and finishes seemed measured with hard effort... very much like the great judge. You had been unwise to ask if you had separate rooms, that had upset him for a moment... You certainly didn’t seem to have the same scruples as him.
You opened the window of the room, resting your elbows on the frame and sucking the dew that the rain brought with it. Neuvillette stood still in his place, looking at your figure, analyzing every detail of your silhouette, trying to perceive your essence, your energy... There was definitely something special about you.
"Can I come out?" you asked, were you asking permission?
"You must not ask for my consent to be free in the place" actually, he did not think it proper from you to ask permission for something… he perceived you from the first instant as a free being in tune with nature.
"It’s my way of asking you to go out with me to enjoy the rain," you said, approaching him and extending your hand.
The thick drops of water hit the roofs, the fountain of the courtyard was about to overflow with water, the surface covered of the leaves that the wind had brought with it. You got rid of your coat and your shoes, went into the fountain and sat in the middle, above the water level, your legs dipping, you picked up the dress on your knees. The fabric was thin, almost transparent now that you were soaked and uncovered. Neuvillette scanned the surroundings, hoping no one would look at you, you were his wife... was he jealous? No, it was a simple sense of duty now that he was a married man...
"Come closer" you said from your position, pointing your finger at the place in front of you. Neuvillette, almost hypnotized by your loud attitude, dragged his feet towards your spot, sitting across from you, likewise, his legs underwater. The familiarity of the rain on the current that had formed under his feet was pleasant, almost satisfactory, so much so that it incited him to move his hands on the surface of the water, forming figures that allowed his hydro vision. You smiled at the small spectacle he displayed for you, admiring the sublime movement of his hands, the way his fingers flexed on the leaves and the drops of water ran down his hands.
You leaned toward him, taking him by surprise, joining your lips with his. He did not turn away, but, on the contrary, he dropped his hand against your neck, drawing you closer to him, tasting the nectar of your lips and your tongue.
"I want something to be clear" you dictated separating yourself from him, "we’ll have children... not because the charlatan Archon wants it for her entertainment, no... we will have children because we both want it, it was clear?".
For all the Archons... those words coming out of your mouth, pure poison, so hostile to the Archon, calling her in a way that he could never, with your face framed by your soaked locks and your lips swollen by the kiss... There was nothing he could want but a woman like you.
The matter of your affinity for the falling flood, added to your folly of calling the archon such a derogatory name... you were an interesting, exceptional creature whose behavior went beyond his control and knowledge. You were a challenge... his challenge... and his enthusiasm grew in his chest as well as in his pants.
You had both returned to the room in sultry form, between kisses and gasps, getting rid of your clothes on the way. He cornered you on the wall of the entrance, his hand in fist resting above your head, his forehead against yours, the other hand holding your chin, joining his eyes. Neuvillette’s chest rose strongly, seeking air, bewildered by the growing ecstasy, the desire among you that was born.
Taking you by the waist, he turned you against the wall, your face crashing against the cold marble and your palms resting at your sides. You felt his breathing on your neck, his chest against your back, his hands sliding over your curves, right to your hips, over your panties. You let out a soft moan as you felt the fabric slip under your legs and fall to your ankles.
"Monsieur..." you whispered trembling as the cold pouring through the room brushed your thighs and bare ass.
"You don’t look as bold as you did a few minutes ago," he whispered... low, almost growling, you swore he was smiling, you sensed it in his voice.
"It’s... just... ah~" you cut the phrase in half when you felt him slip into you, separating your folds, forcing you to suck it. Your hands in fist, your hips rising, trying to avoid its passage inside you, your shoulders gathering at the sensation that flooded your center, your sex.
"Monsieur~" you moaned, your forehead wet against the marble, your hands scratching the wall looking for something to soothe the burning between your legs, the feeling of its length between your damp walls.
You didn’t think the judge would be so vocal. When he slipped into you, he grunted, so pleasantly your legs seemed to melt. You felt the breath of his groan in your ear, your name coming from his lips.
"So soft" he whispered, resting his hands on yours, his forehead on your shoulder, "so tight..." continued advancing, rising to the bottom, "so mine"...
Neuvillette fucked you against that wall as if he was in heat-and perhaps he was-as if you were going to escape at any time from his grip, though you couldn’t.
The moans and gasps were embarrassing, thanks to the rain they did not cross the walls, the sound of wet skin crashing during each penetration was burning, lustful. The words that came out of the judge’s mouth every time you girded your limb were a sea of incongruities, just as the phrases that your mouth dropped when he caressed your clitoris, that little lump had become his favorite toy.
The onslaught was strong, your breasts pounding against the wall every time he burst into you, rubbing against your delicate interior, which seemed made for him.
"You take me so well," he groaned, as he continued his beat against you, your breasts rising and falling down the wall. You were trapped between the wall and the monster of pleasure the judge had become.
"I will fill you with my seed, I swear..." he gasped again, his voice raspy, with flashes of hunger and lust.
"Neuvillette~" you let out a high-pitched moan, had touched your point, that felt so fucking good, the way he arched to hit that gummy dot on your cervix. He kept going, and kept going, you didn’t want him to stop. Fuck, he was so good at it, who’d say a gentleman of his countenance could be taking you like an animal in heat.
He kept hitting that delicious spot inside you, stroking your sensitive organ, one, two... three times, you suddenly felt a knot forming in your belly.
"Oh my~... don’t stop Neuvillette~..." you begged, eyes closed, lips separated by groans. The sound of his gasps flooding your eardrum... you both were close…
His onslaught lost rhythm, the intensity was almost unbearable, he came out one last time to get into you, fucking you so hard that you felt your orgasm burst and you let out a scream. He would not take long to reach his climax similarly, unloading all his seed inside you
The bed was warm, you needed it after what happened... Neuvillette lay beside you, caressing your cheek, watching the way you fell asleep.
He looked out the window, the rain had stopped. He was completely happy... so long ago that he did not feel the fullness he had at the time...
He placed a soft kiss on your forehead, curling your head in his chest, feeling the warmth of your gentle breathing. He closed his eyes, falling asleep beside you, yearning to tell you one day about his identity... someday…

Trial By Combat - 5
Requested By: No one. Original Work
CW: None that I know of!
Summary: The Creator is gone.
Note: This has indeed been a LONG LONG wait. Your patience is and will always be appreciated.
No spoilers for the newest Archon Quest!
Part One —> Part Four Part Six
Tumblr media
A foul smell lolled you awake. Your breath caught in your throat at the intense smell of saltwater. Your mind felt dazed and your body felt sore all over. As though you were being pulled from side to side. Slowly, you try to sit up, despite your limbs screaming not to. You were laying on a berth, the cushion below you was stuffed with some material to make it more comfortable while a thick blanket was placed meticulously over your body.
“You’re finally awake…”
Your head turns into the direction of the voice.
Although they sat in the dark corner, it was evident how intently they were staring, as if they were drilling into your soul. Suddenly they stand up, their shoes making a sharp noise as it comes into contact with the wooden floor.
Instinctively you scoot away, your back hitting the wood behind you, the aura this woman gave off screamed that you were in danger. Her movements were slow and concise, and once she was right in front of you, she spoke again.
“I will not hurt you, Your Grace, you have no reason to be afraid.” her voice was soft. You looked into her eyes and saw a gentle nature about them. Odd, considering how different she presented herself.
You recognized her face, she was there right before you passed out from drinking the ‘medicine’ that nurse gave you. Where exactly did she take you? You definitely weren't in the Court Of Fontaine anymore. Your senses felt like they were at an all time high.  She had you cornered, and in your inebriated state with a healing wound, you couldn’t fight her.
“Who are you? Where am I?” Your voice was raspy as the questions left your mouth quickly. You bring your hand up to your neck, rubbing it slightly, wanting to ease the dry sensation you felt in your throat.
“My name is Arlecchino.” She introduces.
Arlecchino notices how you rub your throat, she walks over grabbing a cup of water off the table nearby. “You look thirsty, you should drink this.”
Once she holds out the glass, you quickly smack it out of her hands. The glass shattered on the floor. Her eyes widened slightly, staring down at the puddle by her feet.
“Y–Your Grace..?”
“I'm not drinking anything you give me.” Your eyes narrow.
Arlecchino lets out a sharp breath through her nose.
“I apologize for my actions, Your Grace, but I had no other way of getting you out of Fontaine.” She shifts slightly, glass crunching under her feet.
“Wait? Get me out of Fontaine? Where am I exactly?” You ask.
“We are right outside of the city.” She explains, “Soon enough, we will be heading to Snezhnaya.”
Your eyes widen. Snezhnaya? With the Tsaritsa?
Furina, the Hydro Archon, already tried to have you killed and now you’ll be meeting the Cryo Archon.
And if her subjects were willing to kidnap you for her…
As if she read your mind, she quickly says, “You needn't worry Your Grace. We are not as foolish as the Hydro Archon and will never intentionally harm you.”
You let out a sigh of relief but you knew you couldn’t let your guard down. You still had no idea what her intentions for you were yet.
Arlecchino kneels down in front of you, “I know considering the circumstances it is wrong of me to ask you this but I must.”
She gently grasps your right hand with both of hers, holding it in a delicate manner just in case you want to pull away.
“Did Focalors ever mention the prophecy to you?”
Your eyebrows furrow, “The prophecy?”
Arlecchino lets out a quiet sigh as she closes her eyes slowly, she almost looks disappointed.
“Fontaine is in danger, Your Grace.” she states, “the nation and all the people within it.”
Her grip on your hand tightens, “I want to find a way to save my home, and I believe that you returning to Teyvat at this time was for that exact reason.”
You shift awkwardly, “How am I supposed to help? I don’t have any elemental powers.”
Arlecchino's eyebrows furrow, “You do not need a vision, you have abilities above any of our comprehension.”
Powers above their comprehension? You couldn’t even beat that Champion Duelist in a fight, and if you actually had powers, they would’ve come in handy then. Not to mention even if you did have these powers, wouldn’t they have made themselves apparent by now?
Arlecchino takes note of your bewildered expression, “You don’t remember? Maybe your sudden reappearance caused some side effects. Amnesia perhaps.”
You wanted to dispute what she said. You weren’t some omnipotent being, you were you. You weren’t suffering from memory loss because whatever she's talking about wasn’t true.
“Your Grace.” Arlecchino says again bring your attention back to her.
“The Hydro Archon has taken no action to save Fontaine from utter destruction. She tried to accuse you of a heinous crime all for her own entertainment, and even now, she's too much of a coward to face her own people for what she's done.”
Her dark eyes narrow, a hint of desperation in her voice, “Please hear me out, Your Eminence, I will do anything to save your world from losing another nation.”
You could see more behind those red X’s in her eyes, an underlying feeling of dread of what would happen if you said anything other than yes.
“Tell me more about this prophecy and how we can stop it.” You state.
A smile spreads across her red lips, “As you wish, Your Grace…”
Tumblr media
It was raining in Fontaine once again.
After only hours of clear skies, the clouds returned and another downpour began. Many children looked up to the sky and begged for the Hydro Dragon to not weep but to no avail.
Neuvillette sat at his desk in silence, staring down at the paper in front of him with his elegant handwriting on it. A letter meant to be sent to the Dendro Archon.
Neuvillette was aware of his duty, to honor the word of the Creator, but he couldn’t bring himself to send this letter. He had hope that if he had just a little bit more time, he could earn their forgiveness. He just needed to keep them in Fontaine a bit longer.
Their Grace took his gift last night, surely that must be a sign that he’s moving in the correct direction. Perhaps he could tell Their Grace he sent the letter but delay it for another week? No. He can't do that. It’s his job to uphold the truth and lying to his creator is the biggest crime anyone could commit. (well, besides falsely accusing them of being an imposter)
A soft knock at the door makes him lift his head up and sit down his quill.
“Come in.” He says in a soft authoritative tone.
The door opens and two Melusines enter, the deadpan look Neuvillette had on his face is quickly replaced with a small smile.
“Kiara. Liath.” he says softly, “what can I do for you two?”
Neuvillette stands up and pats the two girls on their heads, but that doesn’t ease the panicked looks on their faces.
“Their Grace.” Kiara says.
Neuvillette’s eyes widened, “What about Their Grace? Are they okay?”
The Melusines glance at each other then back at the Chief Justice, “They’re gone.”
Neuvillette feels himself freeze for a short moment, “Gone? What do you mean gone?”
“We went there at dawn like you instructed but they weren’t there. The room has also been trashed as well.”
Neuvillette leaves his office immediately, his mind racing through the endless possibilities of what could’ve happened. Did Their Grace leave on their own accord? Or was someone able to sneak in and…
“I will go investigate the matter myself.” Neuvillette states, his tone and expression not giving away what he actually felt in that moment. “Inform Lady Furina about the situation and tell her to meet me at Their Grace’s room.”
The Melusines nod and walk toward the door leading to Focalors abode.
-
Not long after Neuvillette arrived at the medical room, Furina rushed in. Her appearance was slightly disheveled, a tearful expression on her face.
“Is it true? Is Their Grace actually gone?”
“It would appear so, Lady Furina.” Neuvillette states.
The room was a mess just like the Melusines had said. Glass and water was all over the floor, and the bed was a mess. If you did leave on your own accord, you certainly left in a rush.
Furina walks around the room taking in the surroundings, “W-we should reach out to the other nations. Maybe one of them has already welcomed Their Grace?”
Neuvillette crosses his arms, “Are you sure that’s a good idea? Fontaine has already received enough scrutiny for what we’ve already done to Their Grace. If the other nations learned that we’ve lost them..”
Furina's lip quivered as she let out a sigh bringing her gloved hand to her forehead, “But surely they can look past that right? For the sake of Their Grace?!”
“I suggest we find out what actually happened to Their Grace first, then we can act accordingly.”
She nods at his suggestion, “Yes, you're right…”
Furina moves over to the window, making sure not to step on any of the glass that was on the floor. A large crowd was still surrounding the building, hoping to hear any news on the creator's condition.
Neuvillette clears his throat, “Lady Furina?”
She perks up, “Hmm? Yes Neuvillette?”
“Have you done the other thing we’ve discussed?”
Focalors shuffles awkwardly as she looks down at her feet, “You mean the diplomatic discussions with The Knave?”
The Chief Justice narrows his eyes, “You know you cannot agree to this meeting right? Although Snezhnaya had said they wanted to discuss Tartaglia being in the Fortress of Meropide, we know they are going to bring up the situation with Their Grace.”
“But wouldn’t it only look bad on us if we were to deny their request for a meeting?”
“Yes that’s true, but if they ask to see Their Grace and we still don’t know where they are–”
“I know, I know.” Furina interjects, “Let’s just not worry about that for now. We need to focus on finding Their Grace.”
“I’ll keep guards posted around the room.” Neuvillette says, “As of now, we are treating this like a crime scene.”

For the first time since they came to Fontaine, Aether and Paimon had nothing to do. After helping Navia clear her father’s name, they hadn’t left the Spina di Rosula’s hideout. Using these past few days to get some needed rest.
“Aether! Hurry and wake up you lazy bones!” Paimon whined, “we're gonna miss all the delicious cake!”
Aether pulls himself off the bed rubbing his eyes. Late last night, Lyney and Lyntte had showed up and offered to treat the pair to some baked goods. As a thank you for proving their innocence at the opera house a few weeks prior. Although, Aether still had his reservations about the two since they hid their connection to the Fatui, he could never pass up on some free cake.
The two leave their room and Paimon’s mouth was already watering. A small trail of salvia dangled from her chin as she spoke excitedly. “Come on! Come on!”
The trip to the Hotel Debord was oddly quiet. Not that the Traveler and Paimon were celebrities, but it seems like almost no one was around. None of the shops seemed to be open and there were no children running around playing, Fontaine would’ve resembled a ghost town if it weren’t for the gardes.
“Is it just Paimon, or does it feel like we just missed something major?”
Aether silently agrees wiping the rainwater off his cheek, it certainly did feel like there was some tension in the air.
“Aether! Paimon!”
Lyney had a large smile on his face as he waved over his two friends. Lynette stood close by, as silent as ever.
“Lyney! Lynette! Long time no see!” Paimon says happily as she floats over to the twins.
“It has been a long time hasn't it?” Lyney says with a chuckle, “Lynette and I had been working so hard on more magic tricks, time just seemed to pass.”
“Something even better than the water tank magic trick“ Lynette chimes in.
“Oh! Sounds like fun! Hopefully we’ll be able to see it once it's finished.”
Lyney turns his attention to Aether, who was just quiet, taking in his surroundings. “Is something wrong there? You’re quiet, more quiet than usual.”
“Doesn’t it seem odd around Fontaine? Where is everyone” Aether asks.
Lyney and Lynette share glances, “I think there’s a huge trial happening in the opera house today, that would explain the rain.”
Aether brought a hand up to his chin. That did make sense, Fontainians did love their drama and he does recall Lyney telling him that it did rain on the days trials were held.
But why did it feel like something was being left out?
“Let’s not stand out in the rain anymore, Paimon is ready for some cake!”
The four sat down at one of the tables on the second floor, it wasn’t long until the entire table was covered in plates of sweets, pastries, and drinks. More than enough for the group to enjoy.
“Um, excuse me?” A kind voice calls out, “Are you two Paimon and the Traveler?”
Aether turned to the owner of the voice and it was a woman with sandy brunette hair and blue eyes, she had a small smile on her lips as her eyes darted across the whole group.
“Yep, that's us!” Paimon chirps, “who are you? Did you need the Aethers help?”
“Oh no.” she shakes her head, “My name is Isadora, I work at Palais Mermonia. Monsieur Neuvillette had sent me here to retrieve you two.”
“Oh Neuvillette?” Paimons says, “Isn’t he judging a trial right now?”
Isadora’s eyebrows furrow, “No he isn't. There’s no trial being held in Opera Epiclese at the moment.”
Lyney rubs the back of his neck, “Oh really? Ha, who would’ve known!”
“Anyway,” Isadora says, “Monsieur Neuvillette had said this manner he wished to speak with you about was very important and for you two to come as quickly as possible.”
“Well, we’re pretty much done here.” Aether says, “why don’t we just head over there now?”
“W–wait!” Lyney suddenly calls out. “You two are leaving already? Lynette and I were hoping to show you our newest magic trick.”
“We really should stop by and see what Neuvillette wants, he promised to keep us updated on anything related to Childe. How about we come by later to see the magic trick?” Aether suggests.
Lyney gives them a small smile, “Only if you promise to share with us what Neuvillette had said about Childe. ‘Father’ has been trying to get information out of Lady Furina and the Iudex ever since the guilty verdict.”
Aether and Paimon stand from their seats, “Sure we can meet and discuss it later.”
The twins glance at each other again and Aether can’t help but notice the looks on their faces. Was it panic? Fear? Or is he just being too suspicious of them since he’s aware they’re a part of the Fatui now? He lets out a sigh, shaking off the feeling as he and Paimon left with Isadora for Palais Mermonia.
-
“Aether… Paimon… You made it.”
Neuvillette’s voice was as tranquil as he stood from his chair, he walked to the front of his desk to stand near them, his hands laced behind his back.
“Yeah, Isadora made it seem like you had something really important to tell us.” Paimon begins crossing her tiny arms, “Is it about Childe?”
“Not necessarily.” Neuvillette responds, “Although he does have something to do with it.”
Aether perks up, “What’s this about then?”
“You’ve heard that the Creator is in Fontaine, correct?”
Aether’s and Paimon’s eyes widen, throughout the entire time they’ve been visiting the Seven all of the Archons have mentioned the Creator and their benevolence. Aether had even used some mora to buy books to learn more about them himself. He believed that if he still couldn’t find his sister even after meeting the final Archon, he would have to find a way to reach out to the Creator themselves.
But they have been here, in Fontaine this whole time and he didn’t even know?
“T–the Creator is what!” Paimon exclaims, “Where are they! When can we meet them!”
“Calm down for a second.” Neuvillette orders, “That's the reason I’ve called you here.”
Neuvillette explains to the two the string of bad events he and Furina had committed against the Creator. From calling them a fraud and putting them on trial and watching a Clorinde duel them and almost killed them on the spot.
“...They have been recovering in the hospital ever since. However I was informed by some Melusines that when they went to check on Their Grace today, they were missing?”
Aethers eyebrows furrow, “Missing?”
“Indeed. It appears that late last night that they were gone without a trace. Clorinde has checked all around Fontaine, above and underwater and we still haven’t found them. However,  after some investigating of their room, we don’t believe they left by choice. The room they were staying in was trashed like someone was deliberately trying to conceal evidence.”
“Who would do that to the Creator? Wouldn’t that be the biggest crime you could commit in all of Fonta– actually in all of Teyvat?” Paimon exclaims.
“Correct.” Neuvillette says, “But we found this weird vial in the trash by the door. I guess the culprit didn’t believe that we would look there.”
“What was in the vial?” Aether asks.
“I had it inspected by a nurse I trust personally, she had explained how some of the ingredients originate from Snezhnaya.”
Paimon stammers, “Snezhnaya! Of course! Only the Fatui would be willing to do something so cruel!” There was a frown on the fairy’s lips as she stomped her foot in the air.
“I do not know what kind of beliefs Snezhnaya nor the Fatui hold toward the Creator, but we must make rescuing them our utmost priority.”
“How did you want us to help?” Aether asks, his kind nature shining over like always.
“If the Fatui really did manage to capture Their Grace, there’s only one person here in Fontaine who may be aware of what they'll do to them.”
Paimon and Aether look at each other.
“Childe.”
Neuvillette nods, “Indeed. Mr. Tartaglia is a harbinger. He should hold some of the highest secrets within the group. Including those about Their Grace.”
Neuvillette walks back over to his desk, sifting through the papers on top of it. “If you’re willing, I will file false charges against you and allow you to enter the Fortress of Meropide to question Mr. Tartaglia about these plans.”
Aether gives a firm nod, “I’m willing. I need some answers from Their Grace once we find them.”
“Very well.” Neuvillette, “You two should prepare yourselves. Once you enter the Fortress of Meropide, It’ll be hard for me to contact you. You’ll be treated like an actual prisoner.”
Paimon places her hands on her stomach, “Oh no. After hearing that, Paimons suddenly feeling hungry again.”
“I will begin making the arrangements.” Neuvillette says as he sits back down, “I hope that you two will return with good news.”
“Neuvillette?” Aether calls.
The Chief Justice meets the outlander's gaze, “Yes? What is it?”
“After what you’ve just told us I can’t stop thinking…” Aether begins, “do you think that this could be the Prophecy? That this is the sin Fontainians committed?”
Neuvillette cast a wide eyed look, and looked back down to his desk, an almost shameful look on his face.
“... I am hoping that’s not the case.” He whispered softly.

When reticent rainfall restricted the outings of the common-folk, Neuvillette tended to blame himself for causing these complications.
But storms in the Court of Fontaine symbolized sadness; and such sadness, he noticed, matched so simultaneously with his own demeanor. Rain always resembled the frown on his face—downpours always dawned from his despair. The weather was only a weaving track through his withering tears.
So why, now, was it beginning to pour when he caught sight of you patting the head of a Melusine?
The sight was what those old romance books would describe as heart-warming; endearing, too. Your hand ruffling through her little head of hair ( especially one that he speaks his morning greetings to every day ) was a sight akin to sweet Fontainian desserts. Who would’ve thought that you’d grace him with your appearance during his morning routine? Such a pleasant occurrence—and yet, he still feels cold rain begin to land at the top of his head.
“Oh no!” you exclaimed in quite a silly manner, talking to the Melusine whilst not noticing his eyeful presence from the sidelines. “It’s drizzling, let’s take cover aside the building!”
A twinge of guilt settled in the Chief Justice’s stomach immediately, blaming himself for the rain. To make matters even more confusing, he just couldn’t figure out why rain was beginning to fall in the first place. Were these droplets not the resemblance of his tears? Pitiful feelings of sorrow from the Hydro Dragon—was this gloomy weather not the definite denotation of that?
“Don’t worry, my body is accustomed to water!” the Melusine waved off. Then, she tossed her little guard hat to you, ushering it into your hands. “But your body is not, so please take some cover!”
The working Melusine clearly liked you; Neuvillette’s heart might have skipped a beat. Rain started falling a bit harder.
“Oh, Monsieur Neuvillette!” the little Melusine suddenly waved, calling him over. You looked surprised to see him yourself, but he tried his hardest to rid of this sudden nervousness. Somehow, for some reason, it was taking him a bit of adjusting just to walk over to you. He sweared he’s never felt like this before. “Good morning!” the Melusine brightly smiled.
“Good morning,” he responded shortly, slightly ducking his head in a makeshift sort-of bow. The man joined the two of you underneath the overhang of this quaint shop, standing across from you such that the little Melusine stood in between.
The little one turned back up to look at you. “You know, the Chief Justice greets all the working Melusine’s every morning!”
“Every morning?” you repeated, almost like you were talking to a young girl.
“Every morning!”
There’s a gentle smile on your face as you look down at the childlike excitement radiating from the Melusine between you. And despite all this energy coming from the little guard, Neuvillette found it impossible to take his eyes off of you, instead. How kind you looked, staring down at her as you listened carefully to her words—Neuvillette might’ve been entranced.
“The Chief Justice is a very good man,” you spoke down to the Melusine, “isn’t he?”
“Very much so!”
Neuvillette could feel his chest tighten once again. The currently light drizzle suddenly had a random burst of a downpour.
He cleared his throat, “Thank you.”
You hummed, finally looking up at him. “The rain is quite peculiar today, isn’t it?” His cheeks suddenly warmed from the way you looked at him. He couldn’t quite tell what was different this time, for you always looked at him like this—such a look of normalcy. Every time he came to see you during work, you looked just the same. Just another human; But now, he might’ve felt a bit insecure. Archons, perhaps you made him a little sick. He did not reject your attempts at small talk, however.
“What makes you say that?” he asked in response.
“It’s still sunny, good Monsieur.” And when he looked up to the sky, he found that you were right. Water only fell from a few, light clouds. Otherwise, bright blue skies could still be seen. Following his gaze to the lightness above, you continued, “The rain seems to be a bit happier today.”
Happier… Happy rain…
Was it possible to cry from happiness?
He’s never heard of such a thing.
“Maybe the legendary Hydro Dragon is crying from joy right now!” the Melusine perked up, agreeing wholeheartedly with your comment. You immediately laughed at her statement, finding some measure of endearment in her enthusiasm.
And when you looked back down at the Melusine with such a kind expression—an expression that trapped all air in his lungs—he might find himself agreeing with you, too. “Crying joy,” you repeated with a smile in your eyes. “Oh, I bet he is.”

Can i request jealous furina,hu tao or march7th? Im so desperate for these cuties😢
(Genshin Impact/H:SR) Jealous Furina, Hu Tao, Noelle, Xianyun, and March 7th HC's
SAAAME, also adding Noelle and Xianyun just cause!
Tumblr media
(Furina) "S/O, I demand that you pay attention to me this very instant! It is important!"
Furina pouts and crosses her arm, waiting for S/O to notice her (admittedly adorable) glare.
Failing that, she will march straight over to where S/O is.
And if that doesn't get their attention, then her Vision will summon her friends to hit them over the head!
You do not simply ignore the Hydro Archon!
And Gods forbid if someone is trying to hit on S/O. She is going to create the biggest scene to show that they are HERS, and hers alone!
Tumblr media
(Hu Tao) "Hiya, I notice you're talking a lot to my S/O! Unrelatedly, did you know we're having a sale on our coffins?"
Also unrelatedly, Hu Tao is about to turn someone into a ghost!
Hu Tao shamelessly clings onto S/O's arms, laughing at the whole situation.
But the grip strength tells S/O that she's not joking.
But if it's just a task that's holding S/O's attention, she'll either suddenly spook them, or wrap her arms around her neck, sighing dramatically.
Tumblr media
(Noelle) "Excuse me, S/O is taken!"
Noelle shows zero hesitation and her usual shyness is nowhere to be seen.
Noelle was easygoing on a lot of things, but S/O was the one person she would not relent on, no matter what.
Even if it was a Knight, she wouldn't back down!
She sweeps them off their feet (Very easily) and walks away from the rude individual.
But, if it's something S/O is working on, she'll poke her head in, slightly more nervous than usual.
She didn't want to be rude, but she did want to spend time with them as well.
Tumblr media
(Xianyun) "Hm...is that paper so important that you must ignore the dinner One has prepared, S/O?"
Xianyun adjusts her glasses after she sighs. S/O couldn't possibly work on an empty stomach, much less bereft of the meal made with such large amounts of love.
So it was only natural for her to try and drag their attention away from work and onto more important matters.
Herself!
And if someone was trying to flirt with S/O, then she portrays a shocking amount of calmness, simply sitting next to S/O and giving them an intimidating glare.
If they didn't get the message, then she'd simply vanish with S/O in tow. They could have dinner in peace away from these other mortals, after all!
Tumblr media
(March 7th) "HEY! Shoo, S/O is mine!"
March hugs S/O tightly to her, ready to throw hands with whoever was flirting with them.
She'd show them her phone's lockscreen of them together, and if they still tried to do anything, then March was ready to show them the back of her hand!
Until Dan Heng, Caelus/Stelle, or even S/O themselves stopped her.
But if something mundane is keeping S/O's attention, March will whine as she puts her head on their shoulder.
(March) "S/O, I'm bored, pay attention to meeeeeee!"
