Ayzeelia dreamed of endless deserts, of raptors, of guns and blood dripping into sand. Ayzeelia dreamed of sun in her face, wind on her skin, heat and leather and blades. And when she woke, she learned of Elona. Her true home. Until she died, and her home became a prison.
Ayzeelia was killed during an ambush and awakened soon after. She lived a simple (after) life under Joko, mostly tending to animals in a little village. It clearly wasn't what she had wanted when she was a sapling dreaming of the vast desert, but that didn't matter now. It wasn't like she could complain, or think on her own at all. It wasn't like she could run away, she was a slave, with no mind. Until he died, and her prison became escapable.
And if there's one thing an outlaw is good at, it's escaping.

#there's symbolism in there somewhere#like#one of her ... issues with her immortality is how little people care about your wellbeing when they know you Can't Die (for good)#blah blah blah the thing that makes life so beautiful and precious is its ephemerality#which she doesn't have anymore#and the delicacy of roses is often symbolic of that#but PAPER ROSES..... which do not wilt and will last much longer than real roses if kept safe#will hold their shape so long as the integrity of the paper remains intact#are still fragile if handled carelessly#they tear they burn they crumple etc#✨ symbolism ✨#also the fact it's something she'd put a lot of time into making FOR him with her OWN HANDS !!!!!!!

who hurt my coworkers that they think birthdays suck and are the worst thing ever?

Obsessed with the fake naughty religious film in the Immortality game, based on a real book called "The Monk" by Matthew Gregory Lewis. I did a little study of my favorite shot with Noa - this book/faux film has inspired a VTM: Darks Ages AU of my girl so of course...
In the scene - a stabbed girl bursts into the halls of the church during a celebration to finger the abbot who had tried to trap her in the crypts beneath. His prized cross in her hands. SO good.

My only gripe is with myself because I’ve been too scattered lately to read for very long which sucks because I want to read it so bad but I just struggle to. 🙃
