Like I understand that Anon said it would be their reputations ruined if she didn't show, but then why didn't they just make her show? Does she even know that Anin is the princess? Cause I feel like having the royal family sorta indebted to you would be a much better card to have than Kuea keeping you and your baby a complete secret in a hidden away house. But IDK, IDK.

One thing about BG3 that I feel like should have been included is the ability to call Shadowheart out. She is SUCH a bad sharran. She even gives approval if you decide to save Isobel and that right there should be all kinds of fucked up for a Sharran to do. Beyond isobel being a selunite, she is thwarting the work of Shar. Shadowheart should have the thinking that those people should be left to the curse as they do not follow Shar. And if they did, they would be protected like her.

Shadowheart is just kinda left to carry on in that weird ass headspace of saying pro Shar shit but doing anti Shar stuff or liking anti Shar stuff. Throughout act 2, the stuff she says gets a bit more extreme (like in the house of healing) but her approvals are still pro help people.

I just wished that my Tav or somebody, had the ability to be like, "shadowheart, why do you like it when we save people from this curse? Why do you not want people to perish in it? If the ending of where your lady's darkness reigns Supreme and all those who do not follow her perishes, why do you not want that now? Why do you like helping people?"

Shadowheart just really needed to be grilled about how her actions do not line up with what she says. Granted, if that was done, then she probably wouldn't have had the whole great scene of her true moment of defying Shar occurring in the Shadowfell but I digress.

It's like sure, I did this stuff prior to adulthood, but that was out of obedience to my mother. Now I am an adult living on my own and now I am doing these things because I have to for me and only me and have to willingly choose to do them

And it's like wow I did it I'm so grown up!

risette loves dropping hints that like, she lost everything in becoming what she is now, and she often mentions specifically losing her connections with people she knew and her memories when she became what she is but like, it hasn't come up if like...she willingly took on the orbal robot body or if like...marduk just saw an opportunity to like plop someone (did she work for them prior???) into one and i'm sure it'll come up in the 2nd game or something but it also feels like the game isn't toooooooo interested in analysing the fact she doesn't even own her body? let alone the cost of the highly specific and super expensive parts that make up her (experimental) body, like girl??

you can have a convo with her in the finale chapter where she talks about earning enough to eventually buy her body from marduk so she actually owns herself and doesn't need to be in service of them and it's like. we're just going to put that in a line in the finale??? that's so fucked up...???? she's a pretty cheery and supportive type of person so when she does divulge information like that, her personal situation, it's like....oh that's kinda grim...

never stops being funny to me how everyone at the gym assumes im FAR more competent than I actually am without question. went to a roped sesh w one of my clubs bc they asked for novices to come along so the ppl training for the climbing qualification could get some hours in teaching ppl the basics & I wanted to learn. two climbing friends ask me if I've memorised the handbook for the assessment yet and are genuinely surprised when I tell them I'm not on the course. the instructor running the qual course (again, who I'm friends with) goes around and points out who's on the course and who's here as a novice to the assessor who had just dropped by, gets to me and goes oh yeah you're on the course too right? nope. then he goes ah but still they're a competent climber. nope again. pure novice. literally here bc I don't even know how to tie in and belay mate, u know that bc you've rope climbed with me before and had to fill out a supervision form bc im not signed off!! theres not even that many ppl DOING the course i dont know why he associates me with it. the first time I rocked up at one of the rope sessions the same guy (who, btw, has a hyperfixation on climbing safety & gear and is a fucking stickler for it & calls literally everyone else out abt it!!) asked if I could lead belay him - IM NOT QUALIFIED. TO LEAD CLIMB LET ALONE LEAD BELAY!!!!! then today they move on to gear and everyone is surprised I don't have my own belay device or harness. IM NOT SIGNED OFF. TO BELAY. I DONT EVEN KNOW HOW. THATS WHY IM HERE. I EXCLUSIVELY BOULDER. YOUVE NEVER SEEN ME DO ANYTHING ELSE. WHY WOULD I OWN ANY ROPED GEAR???? also bear in mind I'm a solid 10-15 years younger than the instructor & most ppl doing the course like where the hell are u getting this impression from guys 😭😭
