“Fuck,” Toji grunted before letting out a deep sigh, sweat dripping off his skin as he placed the weights down on the floor. He looked around the room, glancing outside the window.
“That was three more than the last time,” Gojo spoke with a smirk, leaning up against the wall. He took a sip from his water bottle before speaking again, “who’re you tryna impress?” He teased.
“No one. Just tryna get back into the gym.” Toji grabbed his water off of the floor along with his towel, wiping the sweat from his face. Gojo causally walked over towards Toji, standing over him with his arms folded. “May I help you?” Toji glared at the white haired man. As good of a friend gojo was to Toji, he was also very annoying at times, which eventually he had to get used to.
“You never told me how your talk with y/n went? How is she anyway? Single? Not single? Just wanna know when I can make my move.” Gojo quirked a brow, clearly trying to get a reaction from his friend.
“Very funny. She’s doing just fine.” Toji stood from his seat, pushing past Gojo and walking out of his gym room towards the kitchen to grab a small snack. Gojo trailed right behind him, laughing.
“And?” Gojo snatched the box of granola bars from Toji’s hand, slamming them on the counter as he waited for more of a response. “Come on man, I want the details!”
Toji rolled his eyes with the shake of his head, snatching back the box. “We talked about us as parents and our kids. That’s it. What more do you wanna hear?” The crinkling sound of a wrapper filled the silent kitchen.
“That’s it?” Gojo’s brows furrowed, genuinely confused. Toji nodded in response, chewing on his food. “You two didnt have sex?” Gojo questioned, eyebrows now raised in surprise. “Not even a kiss?”
“Nothin. Just a hug and a see you later,” Toji explained.
“Holy shit! You two are actually over. Wow, I never thought I’d see this day come,” Gojo scoffed, grabbing a granola bar from the box. “Have you met or seen her new man?”
Toji shrugged. “No, not really. I’ve seen him, but I haven’t properly talked to him. Don’t think I want to. I want her to be happy, she deserves it. I just can’t stand seeing her happy with someone else. Is that wrong of me? I still get jealous, possessive. But it’s no longer my place to say anything.”
“Who are you and what did you do with Toji?” Gojo had a scowl on his face. Toji let out an airy laugh, shaking his head at him. “It’s weird seeing you all…mature.” Gojo shivered before taking another bite of his granola bar.
“I know. I’m still getting used to it myself.” Not a second goes by where you’re not on Toji’s mind. He thinks about what you’re doing, how you’re doing. He wants to text you, see you, hear your voice, touch you again. He hates that it has to be this way now, but it’s for you, for your family.
Though he has these thoughts in the back of his head, imagining you forgetting about him, acting like he doesn’t exist anymore, you getting remarried to someone that isn’t him. He’s scared of fully losing you, losing his family. You and the kids are the only thing keeping him together, giving him hope that things we maybe work out in the future. But every now and then, he sees those flowers on your table, the kiss your shared with him, the smile on your face when you hugged him. It haunts Toji.
Tumblr media
“I forgot to ask, how’d your talk with Toji go?” Kento questioned, his arms snaking around your waist as you wiped your makeup off in the bathroom mirror. He peppered kisses down your neck as he waited for your response.
A smile crept on your face before speaking, “it went well actually. No argument. He was actually very understanding.” You softly smiled, continuing to wipe the makeup off. Of course you wouldn’t mention how Toji practically told you he was still in love with you, held you in his arms while you cried into his chest. It still felt like you smell his cologne in your nose each time you took a deep breath.
“Well, that’s good, right? Now you won’t have to deal with him anymore,” Kento chuckled, pulling away from you. Your brows furrowed at his comment, something in the way he said it didn’t sit right with you, but you decided to ignore it. “He seems like a pretty shitty person, but who am I to judge. I’m just glad you’re doing better, sweetheart.”
You turned around to face the blonde haired man with a puzzled look on your face. “Yeah, who are you to judge?” You asked, tossing your makeup wipe down on the bathroom counter. “Me and Toji may have not had the best relationship towards the end and we may not agree on some things, but I do not need you coming up in here and bashing my children’s father to my face.”
“Woah, woah, calm down, I didn’t mean it like that, okay? I’m sorry, it just came out wrong.” Kento grabbed onto your hands, rubbing his thumbs over your knuckles. “I just seen how much he’s put you through and I don’t like it.” You pulled your hands from his, leaning Nanami with a slightly shocked expression.
“That is not how you meant it. Calling him a shitty person? Really? He’s a good dad, takes care of his kids, he cares about the people in his life, Kento.” You started to get defensive. Toji had his bad moments, every one does, and your relationship showed that side of him, but you also saw the best of him too. You knew deep down Toji was actually someone trustworthy, a good person at heart.
“Yeah, like the way he cared about you towards the end of your marriage?” Kento questioned.
You stared at him, unable to form words, trying to process the ones that just came out of his mouth. “What did you just say?”
Kento stepped closer towards you, realizing what had just slipped from his mouth, an apologetic look on his face when he saw the saddened look in your eyes. “I’m sorry, I—”
“You have no fucking right to talk about my marriage with him. Just because I told you what happened doesn’t mean you know the whole story, you understand? He was my husband, he’s the father of my kids! How fucking dare you? Get the hell out of my house.” Anger lined your tone. You never thought that someone like Nanami would ever judge someone’s character, let alone, speak about them in such an ill manner. He seemed understanding, open to the whole situation, even offered you advice—which you took.
“Y/n, I didn’t mean to upset you. Forgive me. You’re right, it isn’t my place to speak about your marriage. I just thought—”
“Let me make this clear again…get out of my house, please.” You sharply inhaled, eyes fluttering shut as you tried to control your anger. And to think you were going to have a nice night while the kids were at Shoko’s and you had the house to yourself. You stood there looking at the tiles of the bathroom floor, Nanami stepping out of the room to grab his things. A shaky breath rattled through your body as tears began forming in your eyes, but just as quickly as they came you wiped them away even faster.
The front door shut, leaving you in complete silence.
Tumblr media
Toji rubbed the towel over his wet hair, sweats hanging low on his waist as he walked into the living room to settle down for the day. He grabbed the remote, turning on the tv to find an interesting moving to watch before bed, choosing between horror or thriller. “This is same shit as the other one,” he spoke to himself, sucking his teeth.
Toji’s phone began vibrating as he clicked through the movie selections, not bothering to look as he picked it up. “What do you want, Gojo?” Toji asked with an unenthusiastic tone.
“Toji,” you sniffled. He immediately sat up, eyes going wide at the sound of your voice.
“Y/n? What’s wrong? Are you okay? The kids okay?” He asked with panic, standing to his feet.
“The kids…the kids are fine, they’re with Shoko.” You could barely talk, trying to control your emotions.
“What’s wrong, mama?” Toji questioned, walking over to the front door to slip on his shoes. “What happened? Talk to me.” He opened his front door, walking to his car, unlocking it.
“Can you just come over? Please?” You asked.
“I’m already on my way, okay? Stay on the phone,” he demanded. The sound of your cries made Toji fill with worry. You wouldn’t tell him what was wrong or what was going on, but he’s never driven anywhere else faster before. “I’ll be there soon.”
“Okay.” You nodded as if he could see you.
Toji didn’t even turn his lights or tv off. Hell, he can’t even remember if he locked his front door. But at this point he didn’t give a damn. All he knew was that you needed him right now. He wasn’t going to leave you like he did all those times before. “I’m around the corner, be at the door.” Toji hung up the phone as he turned down your street, slowly breaking as he pulled up to your house. He noticed how there was only your car in the driveway.
He saw your front door open, the light from the house illuminating your figure as you stood on the steps. Toji quickly got out of the car, rushing towards you. He could hear you crying the closer he got. You reached towards him with open arms, Toji took you in his, nearly out of breath. “Mama, what’s wrong? What happened?” He asked, soothingly rubbing your back.
“I’m sorry for calling so late,” you sobbed.
“No, no, shh, come on, let’s go inside.” He noticed how you were only in your nightgown in the cold. Helping you into the house, he locked the front door behind him. He stood there with you in his arms, embracing you, comforting you as you cried. “I’m here, baby,” he said softly.
“I just…we got into a fight…and I started drinking and I—I can’t stop crying. I needed you,” you explained, tears rolling down your cheeks. Toji could faintly smell the alcohol on your breath as you spoke. Toji wasn’t going to intrude on your business when it came to your new relationship, but if he had to guess, the argument was pretty recent.
“He didn’t touch you or anything, right?” Toji sternly asked. You immediately shook your head no. A weight of relief lifted off of his shoulders at your answer.
“I’m sorry for calling you so late, Toji. You didn’t have to come I was—”
“I don’t care about that, okay? I don’t want you to be alone while you’re feeling like this. Not anymore. Let’s go.” He guided you towards your bedroom, the plush carpet under your feet as he sat you down on the bed. You finally stopped crying, wiping the tears off of your face as you sat there to collect your thoughts. “I’ll be back.” Toji felt a tug on his hand as he went to step away, looking back to see you staring up at him.
“Stay.” It almost looked like you were begging him. Is this what you were like all those years ago? How he just ignored you? How could he do something like that to you? You squeezed his hand tighter as you crawled into the bed, pulling him with you. Toji reluctantly followed, but still gave in. His arms wrapped your body, pulling the blankets over you as you snuggled into him. You inhaled his scent, hugging onto him like you never wanted to let go. “Don’t go,” you mumbled against him.
His fingers ran over your skin. “I won’t, mama. I’ll be right here when you wake up.” He kissed the top of your head. Toji laid there as you fell asleep his arms, bedroom light still on, his hair still damp from his shower. He doesn’t know what to think right now, lost in his head. Was this real? Or were you just drunk? He doesn’t want to think about it too much, but yet he does. Will you hate him when you wake up? Scold him, yell at him? God, he hopes not.
“I love you, Toji.” Those three words made his heart sank, his movements came to a halt.
She’s drunk. She’s doesn’t mean that. Don’t read too much into it. This will never happen again. It isn’t real.
It takes everything in him not to say those three words back. He doesn’t want to give into something that he knows won’t even be a second thought to you the moment you open your eyes again. His jaw clenched as he stared at your bedroom wall. “Just sleep, baby,” he quietly spoke. He slumped the lump in his throat, continuing to trace patterns on your skin.

I shouldn't make headcanons before I finish the game, but here's some Vanillacupcakeshipping(Larry x Katy; kinda like this name better lol) headcanons!
They've only been married for 2 years now. They were dating for about 7 years before, though.
I like the idea that Giacomo is Larry's son :) so he is their son :) well Katy's step-son anyway! Maybe Larry was married before, I dunno lol
Larry tries everything Katy bakes, especially her newer pastries/experiments. Theres no garentee theyre added to the menu, but its pretty likely it will be.
Katy loves it when her husband comes home! She stays up as long as she can to wait up for him. She ends up falling asleep most times, however. Larry finds it very sweet of her, but worrying for her health.
Larry tries so hard to call her at the exact same time every day to say hello and check in on her, but sometimes he gets so busy that he cant call until the evening or not at all.
Though most times Katy cant answer anyway. Shes often too busy herself.
Katy really loves cute clothes so Larry will often come home with a cute dress or blouse he saw in the window and thought Katy would like it. She doesnt always find the chance to wear them, but its a nice gesture and she appreciates the thought behind it. They do have a couple date nights every month though and so she wears them then!
Speaking of date nights, I think they simply see a movie or go out eating. Larry makes it a point to spoil her on these nights because he thinks she deserves it. He also thinks she's a queen so he maybe a bit biased lol
He doesn't show it whatsoever, but on the inside Larry is a flustered mess any time Katy is around.
Larry worked a lot of over time in order to afford the ring he proposed with. She doesn't wear much jewelry due the risk of losing it while baking, but even so he wanted to give her a beautiful ring. It isnt fancy, the diamond is small but that was the point (since Katy doesn't wear much and prefers simple jewelry when she does wear it). What made it beautiful, and Katy can agree, are the custom web engravings on the outside and her name and the date they met was engraved on the inside too. Its very special to Katy and she wears it on a chain when she's working.
Their wedding wasn't anything special really. It was just their small families attending. A quick ceremony with a small reception at the bakery.
Giacomo is pretty okay with Katy. He didnt like her much when his dad and her started dating though. He mostly lives with his bio mom, but on the weekends he's with Larry and Katy— well when school isnt going on. Speaking of such, Larry had given up on trying to get Giacomo to go back to school. It was more so his ex-wife telling him to give up and let Giacomo make his own mistakes. Katy still feels like she may cross a line so she doesnt really say anything on the matter despite wanting to.
I don't think either of them want their own kids right now. Maybe in the future if its not too late, but for now they're fine.

Gale's Analysis: Abuela Alma: Generational Trauma
Tumblr media
Now this analysis will be talking about Encanto, so before any of that.
Spoilers down below.
Alma Madrigal is the most divisive character introduced in Encanto. People saying she is the villain of the movie, to saying that she didnt deserve to be forgiven. or she got off too easy.
But lets actually talk about Alma.
We see her backstory twice.
The first time its told, it is stated more as a message of hope and Magic. Painting the loss of her husband as a heroic sacrifice. But then leads to the magic/ Encanto being discovered. Alma tells Mirabel that the Encanto protects them and that she will get a gift, that she will use to help the community.
The second time the. story is told, it is a lot more vivid and real. Alma's home was burnt down by invaders, and she had to flee with her town and her JUST BORN triplets. Pedro's sacrifice to try and stop the invaders was shown as more of a tragedy, showing how she broke down. Showing Alma was in grief.
This is when we see a bit more of the true Alma Madrigal.
The truth is that Alma isnt just some perfectionist Abuela that just wants things to be perfect for the sake of tradition and respect.
Alma Madrigal is a widow that lost everything and doing her best not to lose it again.
Before watching the movie I thought the powers that were distributed were random and just for fun.
Pepa's Weather powers
Bruno's Future Vision
Julietta's Healing food
Isabella's Power to grow things
Dolores' Super hearing
Luisa's Super Strength
Camilo's Shape Shifting
Antonio's ability to talk to animal's
But after thinking, all of these abilities represent something Alma Madrigal had to do since the passing of her Husband. Each power is a representation of something she had to do.
Weather the storm,
Look towards the future
Heal the damaged community
Grow the town
Listen to the problems of the town
Bear the burdens of everyone
Be whatever was needed
and
Be understanding to everyone and make order out of chaos (talk to animals.
The house was giving the children the powers to better understand Alma and help her work through each burden. But it ended up just having the children bear those versions of the problem. (The Generational trauma)
She was giving each of her descendants a power she wish she had. Something that she wished she could be.
But the most important representation was when Mirabel didnt get a power.
Feeling powerless and trying to prove yourself worthy.
Alma Madrigal is a tragic figure because she bears the burden of not just her family but every single person that fled with her when the invaders destroyed her home.
Because of the Encanto saving their lives, she felt that she needed to lock away her emotion and give her all to helping others and proving Worthy of the encanto.
Mirabel is the one that could understand Alma the best, because she is the only one that truly understood what Alma went through in her darkest moments, and what Alma fears the most.
Alma in the start of the movie sees all of her worst fears the moment she sees Mirabel not get a power. The potential of losing EVERYTHING she has done her best to avoid.
Her cold action and her constant need to prove that SHE and her family were worthy of this Encanto has made her turn the power/room giving ceremony into a spectacle. Made her demand better of her family, believing that things not going perfectly is a sign of her world falling apart.
This mentality explains all her interactions with her family. How Mirabel's actions that seem counter to her tradition is such a shock to her.
Alma realized when the house is cracking, that its been falling apart. That with Bruno gone, there was no way of knowing how to fix it. So Her response to this was to Triple down and try to hold it all together, to minimize damage by not trying to prod and poke. The best thing she can do is what she always done when horrific events hit. Internalize and keep quiet.
Mirabel is the opposite. She sees that the house is breaking and believes that it needs to be fixed, that they need to find the root of the pain, even if it means for a brief moment to cause pain.
Alma and Mirabel's arguement is this clash in ideologies which then brings the truth to the surface, and it causes the house to break apart. Because the foundation has finally broken down.
After Alma sees her house destroyed, losing her home for the second time, it made her realize that this wasnt the worst thing that could happen. It was losing her family. It was seeing Mirabel go missing that had her have this revelation.
Alma needed to realize how far her loss had impacted her, how it was damaging others because she refused to seek help.
The foundation was cracked and it needed to be fixed.
And sometimes that foundation needs to break down so a new can be started.
Alma needed to see what her expectation and her trauma had been doing to her family.
She wasnt purposefully putting this pain and expectations on her family. She didnt realize how damaging those expectations were.
So when people say that Alma got off too easy or she didnt deserve a second chance, i vehemently disagree.
Alma isnt Mother Gothel or the evil step mother. She is an abuela with Trauma from losing her husband that is just trying to make sense of a miracle and doing her best to try and prove herself worthy of something she had no way of proving.
(There is an allegory of the Encanto being equivalent to God's love and Blessings. But thats something for another day.)
Alma deserves a chance to see that she was misguided, to try and rectify the damage she done.
While the movie doesnt go deep as I would like to discuss this.
I feel that Alma didnt get off to easy.

I low-key wanna write an angsty fic where Magnus can't get his magic back and after a while and finally starts to adjust and even love that he can be with Alec and still be loved for who he is and not what he can do for them.
Cut to a bit later after they are married and they are all on an intense mission, Alec gets injured, severely, and no amount of healing runes will save him and they have no way to portal to safety or get Alec help. Magnus laments not being able to heal him without his magic and is forced to watch as Alec slowly slips away.
"But we... we were finally going to grow old together Alexander..." Magnus chokes out, tears falling down his cheeks, staining his face with dark streaks from his makeup.
"I know... I was, I was," Alec coughs up blood, "excited about seeing you go grey. Of watching our kids grow up and..." Alec begins slipping away faster and faster.
They tell each other they love one another, but Magnus can't deal with this. The only reason he was able to overcome losing his magic was his future with Alec and now it's being stolen from him.
Thats when Simon gets an idea. He gets someone to take Magnus out of the room, despite his pleas he has to stay by his beloved's side in his final moments.
When everyone looks at Simon he just says "we don't have much time. Alec will be dead in a few moments I hear his heart slowing. We have a choice to make."
Half of them don't understand, or are too distracted by Magnus wailing from somewhere in the hallway beyond to get it. Then Isabelle speaks up.
"You're going to turn him." She doesn't say it accusingly, it's matter of fact, shellshocked.
Jace recoils as Simon drops his fangs and holds his wrist up. "No. Absolutely not! Alec wouldn't want this!"
"Do you want your brother to die? This is the only option. No one here wants to lose Alec." Simon inches closer to Alec, testing his pulse.
"Magnus wouldn't want this. He loves Alec but he knows that Alec wouldn't want to be a vampire," Clary says, but her voice is filled with uncertainty.
"Do it." Isabelle commands, taking action. "Do it before he dies and it's too late Simon."
"Izzy, you can't be serious?! You know Alec wouldn't choose this!"
"I know. Thats why I'm choosing it for him. I'll be to blame, I accept that. My brother had worked too hard, suffered too much to find his place, to find love, it can't end now because of some stray demon. I won't let it. Do it Simon." Isabelle moves closer, taking Alec's hand as she watches Simon bite his wrist and drip blood in Alec's mouth. "I'm sorry big brother. I know you might not want this, but I'm not ready to lose you, none of us are."
By the time Magnus manages to finally barge back in Jace has lifted Alec's now lifeless body into his arms and is heading for the door. Magnus is inconsolable, rushing to his husband's side, touching his face and feeling it cold.
"Magnus... let Jace through. We have to bury Alec."
Magnus whips his head around, eyes turning dark. "Here?! No! He deserves a proper funeral, he... He deserves to be honored with the greatest Shadowhunters not, not dumped in a hole out in the middle of nowhere."
It's Simon's turn to step forward, trying to herd Magnus away. "We have to bury him now... So he can come back."
For a moment Magnus just stares at Simon, grief overloading his mind until he finally understands. His hand comes up to cover his mouth, a soft, pained "no..." breaking the silence.
Magnus wants to scream, to yell, but as he looks around at their faces, so many mixed emotions, he can't find any words.
They bury Alec fast, luckily Simon has some blood reserves on him just in case. When Alec claws his way out of the grave there are gasps, cries, both of fear and elation to see him alive once more. At least, for certain values of alive.
Once Alec collects himself he's shivering and Magnus holds him as Simon sits in front of him. The Daylighter gives Magnus a cloth to wipe the blood from Alec's chin.
"Why am I so cold...?" Alec asks, cuddling next to Magnus who is trying his best to maintain some semblance of control.
"Oh Alexander..." Magnus sighs, enveloping him in his arms, no longer feeling that warmth Alec always admitted, at least not physically.
Simon and Isabelle take Alec aside, explaining to him what's happened. Everyone else waits inside as Alec screams and cries, rages, but soon it's all over and he comes back inside.
"Thank you... For knowing I didn't want this," he says to Jace before moving towards his husband. "I'm sorry..."
"It's okay. It's not your fault. It's not... I didnt..." Magnus chokes out.
"I know you didn't. They should have given you the right. You should have made that decision..."
"I'm sorry, I know you would never want to be this. Even if there's nothing wrong with being a downworlder."
Alec shakes his head, voice coming out strained as he takes hold of Magnus hands. "No its... I don't care about that. I care that... I'm sorry that we won't get to grow old together..."
That's when it hits Magnus, the terrible, awful truth. For so long he'd wondered how he would deal with Alec eventually growing old and passing away, but now they were in the opposite situation. Magnus was a mundane now and Alec was immortal. Now he would be the one that grew old as he watched as Alec stayed the same, never aging, never changing. He remembered his own life, so much sadness and loneliness, so many memories, and for the first time he truly understood what Alec had felt when they'd first gotten together. How it must feel to know the person you love most in the world will outlive you, that one day you'll just be memories of a love they once had.
"Alexander..." Magnus said, clutching him tightly to his chest. They sobbed together, openly, unashamed. This would be different, they'd have a long road to go to understand how to navigate this life, but he knew they'd do it together. Maybe jist not the way either of them had ever envisioned.

some context:
i revisit the legion of doom au set out on legends of tomorrow 2x16, but alter it so its set in the future
in the show, sara and amaya take felicity but that didnt exactly work in my thing so we just pretend its random henchmen
its been a while since i posted fic (thus the tumblr and not ao3 thing)
warnings for major character deaths. but we already know how this world ended.
They’ve fought bad guys before. They’ve had moments where it seems like it may be impossible to win but they always find a way.
But then Damien Darhk comes back.
It makes no sense, he should be dead. But he’s back, and somehow stronger than before, with an army that seems impenetrable.
This time, the lives he takes rise exponentially.
It’s all hands on deck for this one, which means their friends in Central City were called for backup.
Barry and his family were the first to go.
It sent them all into shock, and for the first time Felicity had to consider their team of superfriends may not be successful this time.
Cisco followed in Barry’s footsteps not long after.
When Damien Darhk took the Mayor’s office and gained control of Star City, Oliver insisted that there was still a way to fight this and win.
After Rene and Dinah’ funeral, they started to make contingency plans and arranged safehouses.
The day they buried John Diggle, Felicity knew for certain that this was not a battle they could win, only prolong.
The night of his funeral prompted Oliver and Felicity to have an important conversation about their now uncertain future.
They’re sitting in their room. It’s sometime past 3 in the morning, but neither of them even bothered to try and sleep. They lie on the bed, facing each other and hands intertwined tightly.
“If anything happens to me, Felicity,” Oliver finally says, his voice is gravelly and she can see in the faint light that his eyes are tired, “You pack a bag, you take William and you run. Go to the other side of the planet if you have to, I don’t care.”
“Oliver,” Felicity starts to prop herself up on her elbow, but he shakes his head.
“I mean it, Felicity,” he insists. “None of it. Don’t look back. Don’t open that box in our closet that I know Cisco sent you months ago. Leave this place behind.”
She doesn’t agree. She doesn’t even want to entertain the idea of ever losing Oliver, much less what she would do without him, but she nods anyway. And rests her head back against the pillow. Wordlessly, he reaches out and pulls her in close to his side, tracing his hands up and down her arms as if to try and commit the feel of her to memory.
Two weeks after that conversation, Felicity finds herself as a widow.
It happens all too fast. It’s just him on the field, just her on the comms, and as they’ve gotten older it’s just not enough. Darhk’s army is too powerful for them now. The last thing she hears is a small gasp – “I’m so sorry, Felicity,” before a sickening sound she doesn’t want to identify.
She doesn’t need to look at the security cameras she hacked to know her husband is gone.
The funeral comes a few days after that.
After burying all her friends for months, Felicity thought she would be numb to the pain by now. And to an extent, maybe she is. She doesn’t cry as her husband’s body is lowered into the ground. She holds her stepson, who at sixteen has long surpassed her in the height department but still leans his lead on her shoulder.
William.
If she can’t feel anything for herself right now, she feels for him. The boy who lost is mother and now his father, has no more relatives he can call his own blood. He’s just a boy, but she can see as he accepts condolences that he’s stepping into a different role, forcing himself to grow up all too soon, all because of the cards life has dealt him.
In that moment, Felicity feels.
It’s not the grief she should probably be feeling right now.
It’s anger.
Anger at the unfairness of circumstance for William, a kid who doesn’t deserve to lose everyone.
Frustration at how it’s been years of watching her friends die, and being absolutely hopeless to stop it.
For the first time all day, Felicity realizes what she’s been feeling.
She’s furious, and she wants to find Damien Darhk to take him apart limb by limb herself.
She’s done losing to him.
The car ride home is quiet. Felicity drives back on muscle memory alone, because her thoughts are far too preoccupied with something else.
William goes into his room without another word. He doesn’t stick around for dinner, and she doesn’t ask. She knows meals will just seem empty now that they aren’t made at Oliver’s hand. And though their fridge is sufficiently stocked with casseroles from kind neighbors and concerned coworkers, she doesn’t feel like eating much either.
Instead, she walks into their – her – room and pulls the door open to thei – her – walk in closet.
The scent of his cologne, sandalwood and something, hits her a little harder than she expects, and for the first time all day she feels her throat get tighter, but she pushes the feeling away.
She finds a box, hidden in her collection of winter jackets and pulls it out. She hasn’t touched it in months, but it’s been on her mind for a while now. she pulls the lid apart and pulls the coat out.
Black leather, with purple lining. A space on the sleeve where she can add a small bit of hardware she’s been quietly designing for weeks. The matching mask sat in her work desk for weeks – the only place Oliver could never find it – and she moved it over yesterday. It sits in her bag.
For a long time, Felicity just stares at the suit, holding it up in front of her until her arms start to ache. Oliver’s words from the night of Diggle’s funeral float through her mind. It’s not the outcome he would have wanted for her, or one that she would have wanted for herself, if she’s being honest, but it’s necessary.
She’s so lost in contemplation, apparently, that she doesn’t hear the footsteps approaching.
When William’s shadow falls over her, she drops the outfit back into its box.
When she looks up, her stepson looks resigned.
“You’re going to go out there,” he says. It’s not a question, like he already knows he can’t stop her.
For the first time all day, her eyes fill with tears. “I have to.”
“You don’t.” he insists. He points to the duffle bag sitting on the other side of the closet, one that Felicity and Oliver had made just last week. “We could find another way.”
She’s shaking her head before he finishes speaking, rising to her feet as she does. “I need to stop him,” her voice shakes. “I need to – to save this city.”
“You don’t have to,” the boy insists. His fist clenches at his sides. “You don’t owe this city anymore.”
“He took everything from me,” the first tear finds its way down Felicity’s cheek. “I have to stop him.”
“He’ll take your life too.”
“I need to try,” she insists, “How could I live with myself, knowing I let all my friends… all of my family die fighting just so I could run away somewhere?”
“And what about me?” William asks quietly, and Felicity feels her heart crack just a bit.
The only reason she isn’t already out there, tearing through the city until she finds Darhk is the boy standing in front of her, with red eyes and still in the funeral suit that was just a little too short on the sleeves for his gangly figure.
She can’t leave William alone, but she can’t stay here either.
When she doesn’t answer, William crosses his arms and looks down, “You know, Dad would want –”
“I know what he would want,” Felicity stops him, and the words come out louder than she would have wanted. “But he’s gone. He left me – he left us here because he tried to do what we did for the last ten years, which was fight against evil. And I lost him – I lost him, when I told him my biggest fear was  –”
She has to throw a hand over her mouth when a sob escapes, and all the grief she should have felt for Oliver’s death finally comes to surface. Loud sobs shake through her body and she has to lean over when it makes her head spin. Her wedding ring presses into her mouth as she tries to gain some control of her emotions.
William stares at her, eyes wide, as if he doesn’t know how to handle her sudden outburst. She doesn’t blame him, she doesn’t know how to handle herself either right now.
When her breathing starts to even itself out again, he finally speaks.
“You have to go out there, don’t you?” he says.
“I’m so sorry,” Felicity says. Her voice feels heavy. “If I don’t – look, John sent off Lyla and the kids a few months ago, before all of this started. The address is in my nightstand. If I don’t come back, go there. Please.”
“You’ll come back.” William insists. “Promise me?”
Fuck.
She can’t.
“I promise.” The words feel like lead on her tongue.
When she pulls the leather over her shoulders, she feels like she’s dressing for her own funeral.
But she has to try.
xxx
All in all, she thinks she did pretty well for her first attempt at masked vigilantism. Shame that her first (and, reading her current circumstances, only) go at it didn’t allow for much margin for error.
She lasted all night, and really only one bad fall down a flight of stairs took her down before two women grabbed her by the black wig and forced her into the Mayor’s office that once belonged to Oliver.
It’s then that she finally finds herself staring down Damien Darhk, her first look at him since all of this started. She can see he still has a penchant for monologuing in that easy going, casual voice of his. Her eyes travel over to a shelf by his desk, where a familiar set of masks sit side by side.
There is so much she wants to say to this man, who took her friends, her family, the love of her life away from her. When he finally does come to a stop in front of her, all she can spit out is an icy “fuck you” that makes the woman behind her dig her knee into her back.
Worth it.
“My pest problem. Though, that term may be giving you vigilantes a little too much credit. Even a cockroach knows when to pack up and head out of dodge,” Darhk comments lightly.
“Star City is my home,” Felicity says, the grip on her is tightening and she’s not so naïve to know these are likely her last words, “And I will never stop fighting.”
Darhk only gives a bored smile “You will,” he looks over her head, “Kill her.”
Felicity doesn’t want to close her eyes, doesn’t want to give Darhk the satisfaction of knowing how much she fears this moment.
She sends a silent apology up to William, for failing him and leaving him alone once more.
The blonde woman’s hand comes down on her neck, and Felicity knows this is it.
The second last thing she can think of is that at least she died in a way that makes her feel proud.
And the last thing is that wherever she goes, she hopes she’ll see Oliver again soon.

So angst with rfa+v mc being dangerous (like Seven dangerous but more) like shes been chased by many countries and she has killed (if u want that lol) someone and then she decides to leave them. Like say she cheated on them (but didnt) or dont just love them anymore bc she doesnt want them to get hurt. No happy ending plz (but dont kill anyone plz)
Thank you for your request, i know you told that i couldn’t kill anybody, but i killed someone. I’m sorry, that was the ending i thought so.But i hope you like it!
Yoosung
“Dangerous people don’t get hurt” This is what you’re trying to tell to yourself.
You’re too dangerous, and Yoosung is so young…With so many plans for his life.
He’s just an angel that deserves a bright future.
You can’t think about losing him, you can’t think about getting him hurt.
You can tell him the truth, but you know he’ll be by your side even by that. But you feel bad, he almost lost the sight of one his eyes because of you…
But now you’ll have to leave him.
You made your suitcase, and he saw you leaving “MC…Are you leaving?” He runs to you, with a confused yet set face.
You look at him, your eyes want to tear up, but you’re being strong, you just sigh “…I can’t be here anymore Yoosung…I’m breaking up with you.”
“What…?” He froze, and then he got closer to you “Honey…Don’t say that! Why? We love each other…!” He’s getting closer, this made the situation harder than it was.
“…I cheated on you!” You yelled, and then you saw Yoosung, his eyes are filled with tears…His face just says one emotion: Sadness.
“…What…?” He said with a broken voice, you close your eyes, you can’t seem him like this, it’s too much…
After some minutes of silence, he said like a whisper “…We can talk about this…” He was reaching for your free hand, you just give one step away from him.
“No. I’m in love with that person.” He froze again, almost not believing it, you heard the horn of the taxi you called, and like that you run for it.
You heard Yoosung screaming your name, but you tell to the driver to go, you will not look back…You can’t…Your eyes are just filled up with tears.
You don’t know what’s going to happen with Yoosung right now…But you believe that he’s going to be fine…Nobody will hurt him…
This is what you believe.
Now he feels worthless, depress, because he believes he isn’t good enough for nothing.
He just can’t go further in his life…
Not without you.
Zen
Your story is sad to tell.
And you can’t tell anybody that, you fear for his safety.
What’s left in your life now?
Your love, Zen.
But you fear his safety…He has so many dreams ahead of him…He has already fought so much for them…
You can’t mess up his life, he has a great life ahead of him.
This makes you smile…Just to think about it.
Every day you’re more distant from him, and he can see it.
He’s making breakfast for you, coming earlier from rehearsals, just to be with you.
Nothing seems to change.
You can feel his sadness.
This makes your heart break…But it’s better to forget about this sadness…You need to leave him.
You were with the suitcase on your hand, you walk to him “Zen…I’m going away.” He was not so surprised by it, he was feeling you so distant from him…But his eyes are filled with sadness either way.
“MC…I don’t know what have i done wrong…Or if you need something…Please tell me…I’m your knight…! I can protect you!”
“…You always think you’re such a dream…But i’m seeing another guy…He’s better for you…Even in looks.”
Zen just froze, with tears in his eyes, this was your opportunity to go.
You had to say such things to him…It was so cruel…But otherwise he would be so in shock and he would stop you…
After you left…Zen just don’t feel the same.
Your words hit him every day…He thinks he wasn’t good enough for the love of his life…And to be honest…
He thinks he isn’t good enough for anyone.
He’s smoking and drinking so he can numb the pain…
But nothing seems to work…
Zen is finished.
Jaehee
You’re living a great life with Jaehee.
You helped her reach her dream, she is so thankful for that, and she is in complete love for you.
And you’re for her.
She’s just smiling too much, you can’t help but smile too!
But this has to end…
You were preparing to leave, Jaehee runs to you “MC?!You’re going on a trip without me?”
You look at her “I’m living my life without you.”
She looked confused “What?”
“Jaehee…I’m not into you…Did you know what i mean? That was just for fun…A new experience that i didn’t like it…”
She looks really mad right now “What do you mean? We build a cafe together!”
“It would be better if we just kept being friends… I’m sorry… But now I can’t even be friends with you…It’s too weird.” You sigh and you enter the taxi holding back your tears.
You cried when the taxi goes.
Jaehee is angry…But also…She is broke.
She slowly comes back to her house, with tiny steps…She can’t believe that.
She sits on her couch, with a blank expression…Then she starts to cry.
And she cries all the day, she doesn’t want you in her mind,  but she still loves you so much.
She just works in the cafe and go home to cry…She wants to forget you, forget she is missing you…
This pain is too much…
She’s there in the cafe, with a broken smile, trying to hide all that sadness.
She thought she was going to live in eternal happiness because of you…
But she’s living an eternal suffering because of the same person.
Jumin
He is finally happy with his life.
He thought was satisfied with it, but now with you in it, he realizes the had a huge hole in her.
And now you made him finally happy.
But you can’t help to feel the blame when you think about how your life can mess his life.
His life was too cold without you, now it’s warm enough.
You know Jumin wouldn’t let you go that easily, it doesn’t matter what you say.
He would insist more and more, and he would want all the details to know why you’re leaving.
You know he would try to change everything you don’t like…But he can’t change your life.
Why you accept all this…?
You were gone before he could notice, you left a note, saying you needed to go…You wanted another life, another husband.
All lies.
Lies that he didn’t believe.
He pays who needed to find you, but nobody could.
He wants to feel your hand in his again, he wants to kiss your lips again, he wants to see you again.
That black hole that was in his life is back.
He doesn’t mind spending all his life searching you…Because he wants to find you.
You didn’t mess his life…You messed up him.
Jumin Han is destroyed…Because of a broken heart.
Who would think this was possible?
707
You should have been away from him when he said he was dangerous.
He doesn’t suspect you, you know how to erase your trace if from him.
Now you’re trying to do the same thing as he did in the past…Making him get away from you.
You wanted him to save you from this mess, but you don’t want to involve him in this.
You’ll fight on your on.
You were ready to go when Seven saw you with all those things, he runs to you “MC were are you going? What are you doing?”
You don’t say anything, while you were going to the door, he holds your arm, making you stay “Answer me!”
You look at him and then you sigh “I can’t live this life anymore…You’re too dangerous…Your head is messed up…!”
“What?” He gave a little laugh like he wasn’t believing it “…MC…My problems are in the past, we already beat all of them!”
“No…” You sigh “I just…Don’t love you…I mistake my feelings…I love 707…Not Saeyoung…Even if you want me to stay…I’ll go.”
Seven let go of your arm, looking at you, with a serious expression, he isn’t believing in any of those things you were saying “…I won’t let go of you…You can go now…But i’ll find you.”
You walk away, with a sad smile on your face…You wish he could find you.
But he doesn’t give up…He’s hacking any camera, anything, any files…He’ll know where you are…And why you were running from him.
But sometimes is too hard to type when the keyboard is too wet because of his tears that keep falling.
V
He was happy about this life with you right now.
Even if he is always terrified that he might lose you one day.
And this day came.
You know what V already suffers in his life, and another “lost” would be too much for him.
But you don’t want him to get hurt or killed because of you.
You’re too dangerous.
Your heart will sink, your happiness will disappear.
But you hope V will have a good life. You really do.
You have to go away…. This is hard, but you must do it.
Your things were ready to put on the taxi that was waiting for you.
V’s vision is worst, it’s more blurry than ever, but he could see your movement and that car outside
“What are you doing MC?” He said calamity, smiling.
You looked at him, sighing, your expression was sad, but you know he can’t see it “I’m leaving V.”
“….Leaving me…? Forever? But…I love you MC…” V didn’t even ask why, to be honest, he doesn’t know why you gave him a chance to be happy…It’s your right to take that happiness back.
“I just don’t love you anymore…” You could see tears falling from behind his glasses…You’re happy that you can’t see his eyes.
And you know if you stay there just a little more…He would make you stay.
So you took the opportunity and you enter that taxi…And then you go away.
V even asked Seven and Jumin to help him find you.
But all that effort was nothing.
He always says he forgot about you…And he’s happy that you’re finding your happiness.
He’s faking his smile to the other members, saying he’s ok.
He doesn’t know why he smiles. Maybe that way nobody will be worried about him.
But he is miserable now.
God knows that…
So he is hoping that God accepts him in heaven…Even if he’s shortening his life.

1. What is more difficult for you, looking into someones eyes when you are telling someone how you feel, or looking into someones eyes when they are telling you how they feel?
- Looking into someones eyes when I am telling someone how I feel.
2. Think of the last time you were REALLY angry. WHY were you angry? Do you still feel the same way?
- I was angry because I didnt feel like I was being heard or appreciated.
3. You are on a flight from Honolulu to Chicago non-stop. There is a fire in the back of the plane. You have enough time to make ONE phone call. Who do you call? What do you tell them?
- If my husband was with me then most likely my mom.
4. You are at the doctor’s office and he has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live. Do you tell anyone/everyone you are going to die? What do you do with your remaining days? Would you be afraid?
- I would slowly tell people, starting with the closest family members. I would spend my days doing what I've always wanted to do within reason. Tell people no more often. Push out of my comfort zone way more. I'd go visit hospitals and read/spend time with those in palliative care, those who have lost children, etc.
5. You can have one of the following two things: Love or trust. Which do you choose? Why?
- Trust. I choose trust because I'd rather be alone and have people see that they can rely on me with anything. I don't need to be loved to do so.
6. You are walking down the street on your way to work. There is a dog drowning in the canal on the side of the street. Your boss has told you if you are late even once more, you are fired. Do you take the time to save the dogs life? Why or Why not?
I do take the time to save the dog's life. A life is a life, a job can be replaced.
7. Would you rather be hurt by the one you trust the most or the one you love the most?
- That's the same person so as long as they're happy that's all that matters, I would handle anything that came my way.
8. Your best friend confesses that he/she has feelings for you more than just friendship. He/she is falling in love with you. What do you (or did you) do/say?
- It depends on if I had feelings for them too, what we have been through, if I was single or not, etc.
9. Think of the last person who you know that died. You have the chance to give them 1 hour of life back, but you have to give up one year of yours. Do you do it? Why or Why not?
- Definitely worth it. I'd give it up for my husband. He really misses his grammy and I wish he could spend just one more hour with her.
10. Are you the kind of friend that you would want to have as a friend?
- Most definitely. I'd want someone to tell me the truth, no matter how much it would hurt. Be there unconditionally but also have the boundaries set to let me know when they need space and when I need to figure something out alone; I am capable of doing so.
11. Does love = sex?
- For myself, I think love comes first, and also develops while having more and more sex with that person. Everyone shares energy during sex.
12. Your boss tells your coworker that they have to let them go because of work shortage, and they are the newest employee. You have been there much longer. Your coworker has a family to support and no other means of income. Do you go to your boss and offer to leave the company? Why or Why not?
- I would go to my boss and ask if thefe were any other options, like myself taking less hours to give the other employee at least something, but also making sure that they were not taking too much and being unfair.
13. When was the last time you told someone HONESTLY how you felt regardless of how difficult it was for you to say? Who was it? What did you have to tell the person?
- Almost every single day. Usually its my husband, but lately its been my brother. It also varies, but usually about important decisions that affect the future greatly.
14. What would be (or what was) harder for you to tell a member of the opposite sex, you love them or that you do not love them back?
- That I don't love them back.
15. What do you think would be the hardest thing for you to give up? Why would it be hard to lose?
- It would be hard to stop letting people walk all over me, be abusive, to know my true worth. It would be hard to lose that because I hate conflict, and I also have never been taught I was worth something and that I deserved true happiness. When youre used to being treated like an object all of your life and then you have someone come into your life and show you how you should be treated, its extremely difficult to let go of the previous mindset you were brainwashed with.
16. Excluding romantic love, when was the last time you told someone you loved them. Who were they to you?
- Yesterday, high school friend.
17. If there was one moment and one time in the last month what would you change and why?
- I would change the self sabotage I started when I found out I wasn't pregnant... again.
18. Imagine it is a dark night, you are alone, it is raining outside, you hear someone walking around outside your window. WHO do you wish was there with you?
- My husband.
19. Would you give a homeless person CPR if they were dying? Why or Why not?
- Definitely. Because every life deserves to be saved, unless they had a DNR and asked me to not attept to save them.
21.You are holding onto your grandmother’s hand and the hand of a newborn that you do not know as they hang over the edge of a cliff. You have to let one go to save the other. Who do you let fall to their death? What was your rationale for making the decision?
- My grandmother. I know she would want me to, it's just the kind of person she was.
22. Are you old fashioned?
-In some aspects, yes.
23. When was the last time you were nice to someone and did NOT expect anything in return for it?
- All the damn time. Lol
24.Which would you choose, true love with a guarantee of a broken heart, or never loved at all? Why?
- True love with a guarantee of a broken heart. You learn a lot from loss.
25.If you could do anything or wish anything, what would it be?
- Go back to college, graduate, successfully carry a child.

Quote
Going into the wedding-dress shopping experience, I knew that not everything was going to be fun for me. At the time, I was around a size 14 - just big enough to qualify as plus-size. And I knew from reading about other plus-size brides' experiences that I'd probably have to try on dresses in sample sizes way too small for me. Still, I wasn't fully prepared for just how mortifying the experience would be. My mom and I had a complicated relationship with dress shopping, but it ended in my parents generously buying me a wedding dress that I loved. But before my mom arrived in New York to go shopping with me, I visited one local store without her - and the experience was a disaster. I was shopping at a department store with my now-husband. We had our wedding registry there, and we loved browsing the housewares. We passed by the bridal salon while looking at kitchen items, and we decided to stop in, just for fun. (I didn't care if he saw me in the dresses, because I didn't think I was actually going to find one I loved on the first go.) Related: My Wedding Was What Finally Helped Me Truly Get a Healthy Lifestyle It turned out that the bridal salon wasn't technically a part of the department store but an independent salon within it. And it didn't take long after we walked in for me to realize that this would not be "just for fun" at all. The entire time we were there, I felt like a second-class customer because of my size. While the shopping experience may be uncomfortable, a wedding dress will likely be made to order based on your custom measurements if you're at a place where you have to try on a sample size. So theoretically, it should not have mattered that I was a 14, because the store would be taking my measurements anyway. But the saleswoman who was attending to me made me feel like I didn't deserve to be shopping at her salon. Related: I Spent Way Too Much Money Trying to Lose Weight For My Wedding, and I Totally Regret It At first, I tried to tell her which styles I liked, based on the dresses that were on display in the showroom. But she quickly told me that all of the ones I preferred wouldn't look good on my figure - and she wouldn't let me try them on. Instead, she made my try on styles that weren't my taste at all. I'd pointed to understated gowns, and she had me trying on things covered in feathers. My feedback didn't matter to her, because she was convinced that this was what I needed to hide my body. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when I saw myself in the over-the-top dresses. The worst parts of the experience, though, were her efforts to make sure I knew how difficult it was for her to stuff me into the sample sizes. Struggling with each zipper, she made exasperated grunting noises that my then-fiancé told me he could hear all the way from the showroom. I have never felt less beautiful than I did in that fitting room. Related: On My Wedding Day, I Was the Heaviest I'd Ever Been - and Also the Happiest I know that I am fat. So do the people in my life. Wedding guests are friends and family you've known for years - they know what you look like. I'd much rather be in a dress that I feel beautiful in and one that is my style; I could care less if it's "flattering." I was insulted and surprised that this saleswoman didn't care what my preferences were, considering it was my wedding. If I had been able to try on the styles I liked - "flattering" cuts be damned - maybe I would have brought my mom back to the salon with me. Instead, we took our business elsewhere. And I never felt body shamed at the fittings I had at the salon where we did get my dress. I hope that if that saleswoman encounters other plus-size brides in the future, she'll be more sensitive to their shopping experience. from POPSUGAR Fitness https://ift.tt/2rwIiI4 via IFTTT

Kobe renders and Tebow thrives: our bold sports prophecies for 2017
On the heels of a boasts year that was chock full of amazes, Guardian US contributors make their bold prognosis for the months to come
Here are our daring projections for 2017. Please memo the daring ( or should that be bold ?) in bold prophecies these are to be taken with a pinch of salt. Especially the Tebow one.
Kobe Bryant will return from retirement
Few contestants are as prepared for their own lives after basketball than Kobe, a husband of diverse fascinates and prodigious worldwide prestige. Few athletes too are as ill-suited for retirement than Kobe, who burns to be on the court. These last-place few months away have to be killing him. He will mount a comeback, though probably not with the Lakers, who are building around a gifted young core of participates. Hes always wanted to play for the Knicks. Would Phil Jackson dare lower him on the same flooring as Carmelo Anthony? LC
Tiger Woods “re going to win” again
The notion that Woods could challenge for, let alone prevail, major championships was shortcoming even before his last and lengthy absence through injury. The depth of talent at golfs conference represents Woods will always be overawed and outplayed in such surroundings now.
Still, he can and will win lower tier PGA Tour events. Timbers has a inclination to prevail on the same tracks, as shows up his register. He holds more competitive ability than some of the individuals who win once or twice on Tour in any generated year. If fitness hassles certainly are behind Lumbers, he will return to the platform. Then? Cue more major consideration. EM
An American not appointed Serena will win a grand slam title
Serena Williams did acquire Wimbledon six months ago, so gives not make her in the soil just yet. But shes now closer to 40 than 30 there are still no question her stranglehold on the womens tour was faded during a year that determined the late-blooming Angelique Kerber triumph a duo of major entitlements to inherit “the worlds” No1 grading on deserve. The door has never been more open for the boasts 90 s babies. Garbie Muguruza and Karolina Pliskova took advantage in 2016; Madison Keys are as follows this year. The 21 -year-old from Illinois, who has played into the second week at the last six majors, has all the fires, and power on both wings. Look for her to give it all together and become the first American woman not reputation Williams to capture a major singles title since Jennifer Capriati in 2002. BAG
A wildcard crew will win Super Bowl LI
The NFL playoffs do not favor wildcard teams. To prevail the Super Bowl as a wildcard you have to win on the road three straight weeks and thumped three of the conferences top teams. That said, it has happened six hours before. Three of the last 11 Super Bowl champs came into the postseason as wildcards and 2017 s will as well. With no great, dominant crew, the footpath is wide open. The Lions stumbled late in the season but still have a potent offense and the Patriots would rather forget their Super Bowls against the Whale and Eli Manning. LC
Villanova will finish the regular season undefeated
Villanova are gazing red-hot again this season. Photograph: Steven Branscombe/ USA Today Sports
The Wildcats have moved to No1 in the canvas, but virtually no commentators predicted a recur for a Villanova team that rendered most of its title-winning 2016 crew. Aside from a shaky rendition against DePaul late in 2016, the Wildcats have been stellar this season. Josh Hart has been best available actor in the country, Jalen Brunson renders offense at will when he has the dance and Villanova are touching their threes something they didnt do until the tournament last-place season. Ken Pomeroys stats say the Wildcats have less than a 2% chance to go undefeated in the regular season, but with this unit I like those curious. DM
Sebastian Giovinco will return to Europe
Arguably the best actor in its own history of Major League Soccer, Sebastian Giovinco has stimulated himself a superstar at Toronto FC. But his success has come at a cost. Italy manager Giampiero Ventura, just like Antonio Conte before him, says the playmaker has no international future as long as he is a MLS actor. And so Giovinco could be tempted back to Europe, especially with the 2018 World Cup coming into view. GR
Tim Tebow will expand as a baseball player
At first glance, it seems that New York Mets farmhand Tim Tebow, super-athlete and sun of all of our lives, sufficiently flunked during the course of its stint in the Arizona Fall League, and thats maybe because of his measly slash course of. 194/.296 /. 242 over 70 plateful illusions. Tebow did not punched a single home run, but he did help save a fan having a seizure, staying with him until the paramedics arrived, and so its perhaps safe to say that the outfielder is more Moonlight Graham than Babe Ruth, right? Not so quickly: Tebow was emulating against some of the best potentials baseball has to offer, and picked up steam as he went, finishing with an 11 -game stretch where he stumbled. 281 and posted an OBP of. 425. In 2017, the Mets elude all logic and hopes by their May promotion of a surging Tebow to help with their droop mid-week attendance. The Wilpons exchange a package they call Tebow Tuesdays, which predicts at the least one pinch-hit image per-game and private autograph conferences for the first 50 to sign up. Tebow not only lives, but prospers, becoming a cornerstone in the Mets lineup as they acquire their first name since 1986. DL
Tom Brady will finally show signs of age
Tom Brady remains ahead of the youngsters … for now. Photograph: Reinhold Matay/ USA Today Sports
Tom Brady will turn 40 before the 2017 season. Saying a 40 -year old athlete in a contact sport will appear his age doesnt seem specially bold, but in Bradys case, it is. In his age 39 season this year, hes the favourite for league MVP and is having one of the best seasons of his vocation. But Peyton Mannings performance fell of a cliff from his age 38 to 39 seasons and Brett Favres did the same in the only season he opened as a 40 year-old. Perhaps Brady extends his youth a year or two beyond that duet, but the end is coming. Soon. Time, unlike the 2007 New England Patriots, is undefeated. DG
Floyd Mayweather makes a face turn
No one guesses hes genuinely retired, even if more than 15 months have legislated since he last clambered through the ropes. Not when one more contend could promote him to the singular differentiate of 50-0, one better than Bumpy Marcianos accepted epitome of fistic perfection. Not when he can effectively identify his own toll as a free agent, having fulfilled his six-fight contract with CBS and Showtime.
Many insiders speculate a rematch with Manny Pacquiao towers, which, despite the tart aftertaste of their first installment, would still be the second-richest engage in biography. But it says here Mayweather will instead opt to fight Adrien Broner, an adversary who scarcely deserves the possibilities of but one who would allow Floyd to take on the unfamiliar capacity of good guy in the promotion.
Eight-figure paydays werent the norm for Mayweather until he swerved heel, trading in his respectful and humble Pretty Boy Floyd persona for a pantomime scoundrel whom more love pay to watch lose than watch win. But simply because he made the business decision to break bad doesnt signify he doesnt am worried about beings liking him. By going against the one fighter in the world more disliked than himself, Mayweather will exit video games as the cowboy in the white-hot hat. BAG
Los Angeles will be awarded the 2024 Olympics
Maybe this doesnt prepare as a bold prophecy, after all most of the other competitors have put out. But Los Angeles was formerly killed as a hopeful after the USOC opted Boston as the American city to push. It has never seemed like LA was a favorite of anyone to legion video games for a third time. The other competitors Paris and Budapest are more pleading choices. And hitherto LA might be the perfect Olympic city. The facilities are already in place. It is likely to be host the Competition next year. For the foregoing reasons Los Angeles will be the safe option. Probably the only choice. LC
Ronda Rousey redoubles down … and wins big
After being embarrassed by Amanda Nunes in Las Vegas on Friday, many have conjectured that Ronda Rousey wont fight again. Shes noncommittal but we say she will penetrate the octagon during the first half of the brand-new year, before Conor McGregor even books another combat, and get back to her winning practices. It wont is currently under 135 lbs, nonetheless. Rousey will venture up to the featherweight department and chase down a fight with Cris Cyborg Justino( presuming she available after a PED tussle with Usada) in a last trench effort to rebuild herself as a competitor and secure one more big-money fighting. JG
The Washington Nationals will miss the playoffs
Although the National did triumph the NL East by eight competitions in 2016, reciting in 2017 will be substantially more difficult. They should not expect Daniel Murphy to have the demon season that he had in 2016. Washington was also apparently chasing some bigger reputations this offseason including starting pitcher Chris Sale and closer Kenley Jansen , amongst other, but were unable to territory them. While having Max Scherzer and Bryce Harper on a listing can make any team a playoff hopeful, there are questions encircling their role players including an oft-injured Ryan Zimmerman and an aging Jayson Werth. With the Mets power limbs rendering from trauma, and other NL units including the St Louis Cardinals and San Francisco Giants becoming moves this offseason, the Nationals will have a rockier road to October. An NFL player will come out as homosexual
Michael Sam was the first openly lesbian musician drawn up in NFL history. Photograph: Jasen Vinlove/ USA Today Sports
An active NFL player, one known to casual devotees, will come out as homosexual. As of now, the specter of Michael Sam, the defensive goal who came out prior to the NFL sketch and discontinued up never playing in a regular season activity, looms over the conference as a missed opening. Sams story isnt one that anyone wants to see recited. Because of this, I amply expect the first out player in the conference to be someone who is already established as an NFL-caliber player and has had significant know dealing with the national media, two advantages that Sam never had. HF
The NHL takes actual steps to increase scoring
Yes, I know. This is supposed to be a bold prediction, and suggesting that a pro boasts tournament will try to boost offense doesnt exactly definitely sounds like going out on a limb. Every league knows that tallying exchanges, and every conference manufactures sure the rulebook helps abundance of it. Its plays sell 101.
But this is the NHL were talking about. The tournament has talks to boosting offense for over two decades literally but they never actually do it. This time, the decided theyd tweak the goaltending material. Then, shrieks, they didnt constitute such adjustments in time, so good-for-nothing changed. Thats just how things go in the NHL.
But I think this year could be different. Maybe its wishful thinking, but todays NHL is parcelled with agitating young endowment like we havent considered to be in an entire generation. Surely now is the time to let them glisten. Surely now is when well lastly get some forwards fantasizing from a league addicted to its past. Surely we cant do three straight decades of throwing tallying charges while the powers that be twiddle their thumbs and wonder why ratings are down.
Or maybe we are in a position. But you asked for something bold. In the NHL, unhappily, this prepares. SM
The Los Angeles Lakers will construct the NBA playoffs
I can hear you rolled your eyes through personal computers. Real cute, but these projections are supposed to be bold, right? The Lakers are currently exclusively two games out of the eighth seed in the Western Conference. Granted, they are also only three games ahead of the cellar-dwelling Phoenix Suns, but that just goes to show you how mushy and undefined the merits of the West is right now. Anyone could catch fire for a few weeks and find themselves volunteering to be razed by the Fighters in four tournaments this spring.
The Lakers were poising around. 500 before Thanksgiving, then misplaced 12 of 13 during a brutal superhighway journey made worse by injuries to Julius Randle, DAngelo Russell, Nick Young, and Larry Nance Jr. A health Laker team still cant performance much protection, but they are unable score against anybody, as triumphs over the Warriors, Thunder, Rockets, and a short-handed Clippers team proves. Most importantly, they have as good an opportunity as anyone in the West basement. The Kings, Pelicans, Mavericks, Timberwolves, and Blazers all have genuine hotshots, but what the Lakers can offer is something close to the team cohesion that defines the elite forces in the NBA. This is still a bumpy gang that is dragging a few laughable contracts down special courts every night, but they have as good as possibility as anyone right now. DS

Shes noncommittal but we say she will penetrate the octagon during the first half of the brand-new year, before Conor McGregor even books another combat, and get back to her winning practices. It wont is currently under 135 lbs, nonetheless. Rousey will venture up to the featherweight department and chase down a fight with Cris Cyborg Justino( presuming she available after a PED tussle with Usada) in a last trench effort to rebuild herself as a competitor and secure one more big-money fighting.

DS
