am I wrong? genuinely, I'm asking. would it not come off extremely condescending?
#she blocked me after saying that it wouldn't be talking down to because POC are my peers and it's like...#that's not how talking down to someone works?#yes they ARE my peers. so are the white people I'm explicitly talking down to#they are my peers and thus i respect that they have a lot more experience and knowledge than i do about this topic#and i decide not to condescend to them about it or slap them on the wrist for saying something i think is in poor taste#like idk man#I'm trying to talk to people who might actually listen to me rather than people who have no reason to#is that so bad?#like i was literally talking to a mixed guy about this and he was like#yeah i do mostly agree with you in reality but it's hard to not bask in a little shaudenfreude when it happens#and i was like yeah i think that's whatever and you should feel however you feel but perhaps the basking should be kept private#like... idk we're all human we all have shitty emotional responses sometimes and need to vent sometimes.#sometimes you do say something off colour to your friends when youre pissed off and hurting#but i DON'T think we should be encouraging this behaviour publicly. because it emboldens people#you say your shitty things in private to your friends who get it or you keep them in your mind and then you get up and try to help people#regardless of if theyre shitheads or not you should be feeling compassion and you should be offering them your hand#THAT'S what i have to say to POC who have been venting like this.#what do i have to say to white people who are venting in this way? shut the fuck up and go do some work.#stop self victimising and celebrating racist violence against people you see as your enemy#grow up#there IS a difference between lateral violence and punching down and that difference matters in the discussion of how to stop it.#the system speaks

Yandere 42! Miles Morales feeling grumpy all day at school and getting a little more upset when his girl wouldn't answer his texts. Only to see her surrounded in a circle of students cause she's beating the breaks off another girl who was riling her up talking bout her man.
And miles ain't know she could fight like that‼️and how would miles feel about her extreme jealousy?
I absolutely love this wait a damn minute…
A/n: Finally got out of writers block smh, I’m sorry that this took so long to do cutie pie😞 I also made the reader poc cause I gotta give my poc girlys including myself some love yk? I hope you don’t mind that!!<3
Warnings: Violence, fighting, yandere theme, jealousy, blood, pet names (mamas and mami), and cursing
Continue reading below the cut! Be warned as this contains dark content!!
Miles: hey mami, good morning
7:44 a.m
Miles: why ain’t you answering me?
9:57 a.m
Miles: at least leave me on seen or sum shit so I know you seen it.
11:32 a.m
He closed his phone and groaned as he feels his grumpiness getting to him. “Yo Miles, you good?”
His friend asked him seeing Miles is more grumpy than he usually is. “I’m fine.” He replied as his friend knew he was lying but decided to not push it and just thought that he was just having an awful morning. The only times when he did have awful mornings is when Y/n wasn’t around, and this was one of those awful mornings.
The bell rang and Miles got up to leave and as he walked out the classroom whispers were surrounding him. The soft voices going in and out of his ears, they filled the hallways. He managed to make it to his class and sat in his usual seat by the window in the back.
All of a sudden, students yelling and running could be heard outside the class, curiosity got the best of Miles as he got up from his seat to see what the ruckus is about. He used his taller figure as an opportunity to see over the crowd.
He was shocked to see his girlfriend, Y/n on top of another female, punching her as the girl below her was screaming and crying. One of Y/n’s hands was gripping the girls hair to keep her head down and her other hand was in a fist as she laid blow after blow to her face. Her nose was bleeding and bruises started to form on her face.
The female under Y/n was kicking and squirming, trying to get out from under her but couldn’t from Y/n’s body weight being forcefully pushed on her to keep her down.
Students surrounding them were recording and yelling as others just watched in horror.
“You wanna talk shit about my man!? You’re shady and pathetic, say it out loud to me instead of going behind his back.”
Y/n’s voice spat coldly in her face as the girl looked terrified while tears were running down her cheeks.
He was shocked seeing the scene, he never expected Y/n to be the jealous type let alone fight someone who talked bad about him. Miles didn’t and couldn’t care less about people who talked bad about him. Cause he knows that he can easily beat them with no issue.
So seeing Y/n get jealous and protective because another female talked bad about him behind his back, almost made him feel proud, thinking about how he knew that Y/n is really the one for him.
After a while, the principal came and broke up the fight then took the girl and Y/n to his office. Teachers who were there, escorted and told the students to get back to their classes. Everyone went to their classes and as Miles was in his seat, he was wondering what the girl said that made Y/n so mad.
While he was thinking, he smirked to himself, knowing that his girl, his only, did that to another female for him. Pride filled his chest knowing that any other girl wouldn’t have done it. He was proud to call Y/n his and his only.
The school day ended, and Y/n was walking out of school but then was stopped by Miles.
“Ay Mami, what happened back there earlier?” His hand placed on her shoulder as he turned her body around to face him.
“Some girl talked shit about you, and I couldn’t let that slide.” She huffed out pissed off and crossed her arms. He only smirked down at her before letting out a small chuckle.
“Who would have known that Mami would be jealous and protective of me.” His voice teased her with a smirk on his face. She looked at him before rolling her eyes.
“I wasn’t jealous…I was only doing what I had to do.” She glanced at him which only made him laugh as he wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her body closer to his before he started to walk.
“Plus, why would I be jealous of a white girl? One thing that I do question is why would that little white girl talk shit knowing that we don’t play around when it comes to confrontation?”
Her voice spoke as she scoffed with a small laugh.
“You know…I would kill any guy who even dares to breath in your direction..~”
He bent down to her ear to whisper in her ear. His voice was low and deep as it sent shivers down her spine, causing her skin to grow goosebumps.
“You don’t mean that though, right?” Looking at him with a raised brow as he just smirked and stayed silent.
“Don’t play with me right now…you don’t mean it right?!” Her voice slightly raised, giving him an almost flabbergasted expression.
“I don’t know Mamas..do you think I’m playing?”
The tone of his voice was low and deeper than before. It was almost concerning, she knew how possessive he could get. But the way his voice got deeper, it sounded dark.
She stayed silent, his hand reaching over to her chin as he lifted her head to look at him. He had his usual cold expression but this time it was even..colder?..
His eyes were completely lifeless. No sign of shine or life in them which made her a little nervous when he stared down at her.
“I asked you a question Mamas, and I expect an answer..”
The sound of his tone was like he was a robot. It didn’t sound human, no hit of emotion behind it. She thickly swallowed before answering.
“No, I don’t think you’re playing..”
She said and he smiled, giving her a soft kiss on her forehead.
“See? It isn’t that hard now was it?”
His arm wrapped around her waist again as she walked with her close to his side. He didn’t let her answer his question before speaking.
“Now let’s go out. I gotta reward my girl for doing something, right?”
Requests are still opened btw!<3

Suck it Up: The Problem With White Woman Tears
“She said you insulted her. You made her cry. Don’t you feel ashamed? Is this how we raised you?”
— Were my aunt’s words, after a distant relative told her that I called her overweight, and suggested she lose a couple pounds so people wouldn’t ask if she was pregnant.
Of course, I hadn’t said any of those things. I was confused as to why my aunt thought I did. But when I tried explaining what I had actually said and how our relative had blown things entirely out of proportion, she told me (in less kind words) to shut up. She spoke over me and wouldn’t let me defend myself. I was in trouble for the rest of the day, most of which I spent crying because I felt so guilty. I didn’t want our relative to think I thought she was ugly and needed to change, and I didn’t want people in our family to think so lowly of me.
I was, like, nine. I didn’t know what the feeling was, but I can identify it now; I felt silenced. My voice, as small and insecure as it was, felt like it wasn’t being heard. Events like this one would keep happening, until eventually I just stopped talking to my family. If we barely had any conversations, they couldn't get offended, right? And I wouldn't get in trouble for things I didn’t say. I knew what was and wasn’t a safe space, and quickly identified that my family wasn’t one. I couldn't speak up about things that bothered me without someone pointing me out as the bad guy, and I couldn't call out their problematic behavior because no one would listen. It was easier to remain silent than deal with the aftermath of speaking up.
Though this specific incident happened within my family, the weaponization of tears/emotions (specifically by white women) is an issue prevalent in our society. Its capable of causing disasters such as the murder + brutal torture of Emmett Till, who was only 14 when he became a catalyst for the civil rights movement. They’re the reason 35 city blocks were burned down in the Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921. White people have called the police on black people for waiting in a Starbucks, for selling bottled water, for using the private pool in the gated community that they live in. This weaponization of fear + helplessness is particularly effective on POC due to their villainification in the media. Studies have shown that when people see a black man they perceive him as larger, more aggressive, and potentially more harmful than a white person. Because POC are always the one causing conflict, their voices are silenced and any explanations they could come up with are brushed aside.
More often than not, this is caused by white women. White women have the unfortunate tendency to believe that because they’re part of an oppressed group, they can’t be the oppressor too. But let’s not forget that 53% of white women voted for Trumplethinskin in 2016! White women are experts at making themselves the victims, at silencing the voices of POC who did all of the labor and get none of the reward. White men often get blamed for everything, and while that is completely warranted, white women are the ones who support them. They’re the ones hiding behind white men and whispering malicious things in their ears. They’re the ones supporting racists and then turning around and demanding that WOC band together with them. White women hold more power than they’re willing to admit. They are women, yes, but they are still white. And their tears are notoriously dangerous for POC. All white women need to do is bring out the tears, and every man in the vicinity will feel obligated to “protect” this poor, fragile woman. There’s no doubt that she’s telling the truth. There’s no chance to be heard when you’re going up against a white woman's accusations. No matter how we conduct ourselves, we are seen as the aggressors.
I’ve told you how harmful that kind of environment is. I don’t even feel safe around my own family. Society has set the precedent that white women are to always be believed, which in turn creates a dangerous environment where POC can’t even speak up for themselves, because the white woman might feel targeted and get emotional. POC run the risk of getting fired, being ostracized, and possibly being forced to apologize, because they’re the one who hurt her feelings. Part of this stems from how society views the white female. They are the symbol of femininity, or as New York Times best-selling author and speaker Luvvie Ajayi Jones phrases it, the prototype of womanhood. WOC are never seen as fragile/delicate, so they can never be the one in need of help. They’re never the damsel in distress, which allows white women to use this trope to their advantage as much as they want. The moment a white woman gets emotional all attention is turned to her and WOC are shoved aside in favor of accommodating and pampering the white woman. Eventually, WOC will get tired. They won’t bother speaking up when they were wronged. It's an effective way to rob POC of their voices while voiding white women of any accountability.
But yeah, go sisterhood, or whatever.
I don’t believe in giving white women the benefit of the doubt.
The problem won't go away until white women start holding themselves accountable. Call out each other's bullshit. Call out your own bullshit. Do the research, work on bettering yourself and the people around you, don’t expect WOC to do the labor for you. And stop crying when WOC call you out. Take the advice and fix it. It is not the responsibility of WOC to police their tones so white women can feel comfortable.
It’s certainly not an easy fix. But it starts with white women making a conscious effort to change.

Reacting to reactions: Kynicole s4 ep1 (comments edition)
Okay, so you know when something comes out and you need to talk about it with other humans because you can’t hold it in?  This is me right now with the youtube comments on kynicole’s reaction video. I am about to burst 🤯.
**First and foremost lets thank kynicole for doing what most of us aren't willing to do for ourselves which is revisit the trainwreck that is wtFOCK s4.**
Disclaimer: This is long as hell
Ok so literally first comment I see is this:
Tumblr media
People!!! Moyo from all the information we’ve been given as a fandom am pretty sure is not blocked. You know that saying, actions speak louder than words?Well let's analyze the actions of wtFOCK(particularly Rutgers) and Noa. I have asked sooo many people about the block question and I always get the same answer “I don’t know”. Which coupled with everything else that has played out tells me a lot. Ok firstly, we are all aware that wtFOCK is yet to comment on or even acknowledge s4. The newsmonkey article wtFOCK did after every season they skipped entirely after s4. You know what wtFOCK did do? They sent out Nora b4 s4 even ended to calm down the fandom. Oh lets send the WOC out to quell the screams from all the fans that are screaming at the injustice of giving this season to Romi(who was a way less experienced actor, who had no previous backstory on the show, who no one asked for, who was white, a legitimate model, and to put it simply didn’t work anywhere near as hard as Noa for 3 seasons). Anyways here is why I am pretty sure Moyo isn't block.
Think about everything we know about Noa as a human being the way he treats the fans, his demeanor and just overall vibe. To me he seems like a very nice person, he writes back to most of you guys when you talk to him. I saw him comment heart emojis to fan accounts that commented on his award acceptance the other day and you know what he said at the award “That the fans are the most important thing”. Now connect the Noa we know from his actions to his own words on the day the main was revealed:
Tumblr media
To me this tweet implies whatever he is speaking about involved a choice and the chooser chose to make money over morality. Now lets exam Rutgers actions. He has never publicly spoken about the season and the reason I believe he doesn't speak is because any decent journalist is going to ask him to explain his casting choice. Also your telling me that if Moyo had been blocked after week 4,5,6,7,8 of having the fandom hurl insults at wtfock and also Romi calling a meeting they wouldn't have used their end of the season interview to confirm Moyo wasn’t an option to shut the fandom up? Oh and last week Noa accepted the award for wtfock and Rutgers posted Noa on his story??? Moyo wasn’t the main of s4. Wouldn't it make sense to have a main accept the award? Why Noa? Rutgers is not stupid. I don’t believe for one second that Moyo was blocked. What I believe is that wtFOCK’s leadership who happens to all be white men are to embarrassed to go on the record and say “yeah Moyo wasn’t block but we still didn’t chose him” and that instead of giving the season to Noa who worked his ass off for 3 seasons they gave it to Romi because they thought “her look” was more appeasing to advertisers. Her look was obviously what sold them on her because next to Noa we know who the better actor was and Noa literally landed a feature film to prove that. Anyways everyone needs to stop pushing this idea that Moyo was blocked because if you actually look at everyone’s actions involved its pretty clear to me he wasn't blocked and Rutgers and the team are refusing to confirm what to me is fairly obvious answer because they know they are going to get fucking dragged. Also whoever this commenter is they know what's up. I agree with everything you stated:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
☝️☝️☝️Say it louder sis. wtFOCK bypassed Noa on purpose they chose to do what they did to him. I do genuinely believe they regret the decision now because from everything I heard I really do believe they wish they could go back and chose Noa but the damage is done.
Next YT comment:
You know when early on in the season a bunch of POC said that this season was merely a platform to embolden and give free reign to those who already harbored racial micro-aggression 👇👇👇
Tumblr media
Oh surprise, surprise..... this commenter sees no redeeming qualities in both black boys who in their respective remakes are written as being homophobic, with undertones of aggression and as bad friends. Oh and then this commenter points out how poor Moyo treated Kato. Bwahahahaha what?? Yea Moyo insulted Kato but he never accused her of being a drug dealer, or implies she has a drug problem, or racially profiles members of her community or manipulates her with saying I love you as a form of keeping her but Moyo treats Kato badly. GTFO!!! I am sure this commenter is a Mailin stan too and would say Ava isnt someone she would be interested in seeing main either. Wonder what all these characters have in common🤔. This type of commentary is what created the divide that still resides in the wtfock fandom to date. This shit is what tore the fandom apart and eventually led people to leave the fandom or take time off because people went for each others throats as the season got worse and those who defended wtfock at the beginning were eaten alive. Honestly tho I dont want to excuse people’s troublesome povs on race but wtFOCK’s decision to make a season where their white main never fully apologizes or owns her behavior with the appropriate language perpetuates a pattern of bad behavior so am kinda of not shocked no one came out with some insight on race relations after s4 if anything probably with less of an education then they began with because wtfock themselves peddled the agenda that its ok to silence people of color (as they did with moyo at the end of the season, he never says his piece to kato and stays with her) and Kato never takes ownership of her actions and states that her actions stem from some form of racial micro-aggression.
Final Comments reviewed:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I mean.... look I will always adore season 2 & 3 of wtfock. Nothing will ever change that for me but these people ☝️☝️are right. It takes a real fan to be honest with themselves and to me this is the worse season in the universe and it makes me so sad mainly because it could have been the most fearless, ground breaking season but wtfock made a choice. They literally had the opportunity to go big and do something that had never been done before and in the end they choked and paid the ultimate price. What a waste.......could have been amazing the had the perfect actor to main and they fucking blew it because in their mind Moyo wasn't an important enough story to tell 😞.
p.s. I noticed kynicole said at least half a dozen times in her video I still dont get why this wasn’t in Moyo’s pov? Literally said EVERYONE!!!
