Any insight into Songfall’s family?

Songfall and Featherwhisker were foundlings, and they were named after avian elements :D “birdsong” and “feather”, ofc… Featherwhisker’s feathers also contributed into their naming quite a bit lol. They were raised by the sovereign of their time, and were very close throughout their lives, growing even closer when Songfall became an orator after… less than adequate conditions, and Featherwhisker found that he had to keep his brother’s secret to prevent mass hysteria.

Although he harbored something of a crush on Dovecloud, she was the only cat who ever caught his eye; he was grayromantic. Despite his potential to have a love life swiftly going up in smoke, Songfall was a family man at heart; he always wanted a family of his own. He acted as a father-figure to Rainfall, and was overjoyed and deeply flattered when she requested to be named after him (she would have been named Rainclaw, otherwise), and considered himself to be more of a parent to her than anyone else. However, he still desperately wanted kittens of his own.

So when the opportunity arose, he would go out and have multiple various flings. Just doing his best to get pregnant to have a litter of his own. Finally, he did so! With a Riverwarden, in fact, who expressed that they didn’t want a family and thus wouldn’t claim them at all; Songfall was overjoyed. He moved into the nursery immediately, and when his litter of two was born, he became a very hands-on parent; he adored his children, and cared for them fiercely, and was overwhelmed with pride as they grew into fine members of his faction.

Songfall has a rare case of: “actually happy, healthy family” lol

Good thing he died long before his family was caught up in so much drama…
