i have Very few braincells atm but both wren's parents disliked traditional school for very different reasons, thus why they decided it wasn't necessary to send wren to school if they could just receive homeschool education in the circus.

#headcanons. ◜♣ / ❛ 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐬. ❜◞#like? sonthi for example was very very biased bc he also grew up homeschooled in the circus #he despised the way lessons are taught in public schools; he believed the classroom to be a very stifling environment #that wouldn't rlly benefit his child at all - especially considering their hyperactivity and difficulty regulating their attention #he also just? believed that the only way to learn about the world was to Live in it #and the circus would give them the perfect opportunity to do that #meanwhile farren just doesn't have positive memories from school abkxbid #she attended private schools her whole life which strove for excellence and put a lot of pressure on their students #which she Hated™#eventually she had to drop out for reasons unrelated to her dislike for school but. she didn't exactly miss it either #farren had a lot of concerns about leaving wren under gilmore's supervision in general but she made sure to intimidate him enough to like #soothe her worries a bit abkdbksnocni #she agreed for wren to try out homeschooling and since their grades were decent she was like !!!!#'ok sure why not. traditional schools are horrible anyway.'#anyways this was spurred on by all the uni work i need to do tonight #while wishing i had grown up homeschooled in a circus as well ABKXBKBXN
