Another open tag for this one and I wanted to do it mostly to be funny.

rules: pretty self explanatory. include physical descriptions or pics, and propaganda. the “other” label can be used for “sexuality misalignment” (ie: oc is femme and you’re gay, vice versa or you aren’t into smashing but have a specific thing you wanna do with them like perhaps hug or study them under a microscope idc)

“Wow Aki I really want to read ghost punch but I’d only do it if Shay was a guy and also hotter and funnier” boy oh boy do I have news for you, he exists! Shay’s brother, Duncan!

Duncan is a librarian and he’s very invested in his community.

He’s pan!

He loves puns and is very funny. His sister calls him Donuts (get it? Duncan Donuts?). He’s also a really good older brother.

Also the hair and dressing exclusively in cardigans and weird tshirts like some sort of millennial grandma.

AND he’s a good cook and can bake! What’s not to love?

(I’m a lil late but) I’ve decided to talk about Ghost Punch so let’s meet our main three!

Shay O’Brannon never believed in ghosts. At least, not until she gained supernatural sight and the ability to touch them.

Shay is funny, full of bad puns, and is stubborn to a fault (and sometimes just for the bit).

Max Patel has always believed in ghosts, even has a YouTube show about ghost hunting (which they drag Shay along on). They’re just about the best friend anyone could ever ask for. Kind, caring, and loyal.

Finnias is a ghost who does not remember who he was. He’s blunt and kind of smug, but he might just be the key to saving the town of Teton Falls.

Duncan O’Brannon from Ghost Punch is my fave!

He’s the older brother of the mc (Shay) and he’s hilarious. He loves bad puns. Like, really bad puns. And he’s a librarian! He really cares about his community, even goes to town meetings

He has some weird abilities emerging regarding memories and ghosts but that’s trailing behind being a big brother, a librarian, and being very hot.

(My favorite thing is you can tell he basically raised Shay because they have the same sense of humor and deflecting coping. Some people pun? To cope??)

Aaagh the fifth book is about him and I wanna get to writing it so bad but I have other projects *gnaws on the walls*

Happy Blorbo Blursday! Which one of your characters would benefit from modern medication the most? If your characters are modern, what medication would help them that they're not on?

In Last Light, Blythe has a bad knee and would definitely benefit from painkillers (she has a topical one but)

In ghost punch it’s PRETTY OBVIOUS the O’Brannon siblings have ADHD. I don’t know if they’d benefit from medication, but having some more coping skills would definitely help. (Literally the first thing in the series Shay is doing is fidgeting lol)

I think a lot of my characters would benefit from anti-anxiety meds but if I’m unmedicated they have to be, too, lol.
