“Uuuugh, this is what I get,” Brian groans for the fifth time. “Why didn’t I look at the date? How did I get that wrong?”

“Still?” John asks. He’s been keeping an eye out on Brian practically all day, wondering when will the effects of hella expired food will rear it’s ugly head on Brian. In some attempt to alleviate the stomach ache, Brian flipped himself up on the couch. John hopes that that won’t backfire. 

“Yes, still,” he shoots back. “Ugh... six months. Expired for six whole months.  I am gonna die because I ate some friggin’...” He doesn’t finish the sentence, but ends it in a pathetic sigh. “My tummy hurts.”

The way Brian says this, pulls on John’s heartstrings. It’s being pulled anyway, but this was extra. “You want your tummy rubbed?” 

“Are you serious?”

“Couldn’t hurt to try. I’ll be gentle.” John sits besides him and gets to work circling in a slow, clockwise motion. He was definitely true to his word on being gentle. It’s soothing too! 

Where did he even learn this? Brian wonders. Eh, it doesn’t matter. It’s not even a matter of pride either; he’s definitely seen John at his lowest when he was throwing up until he couldn’t anymore and it left him a weeping mess. Comparatively, this wasn’t anything. 

But... it is nice to get doted on, even if it’s a stomach ache. 

“Feel any better?”

Brian opens an eye. Am I gonna milk this? he asks himself.

“Noooo,” he whines. “It still hurtsss...”

Might as well.

(I always wanted to make the s4 version of Boone and my Courier Bee. I role played the heck out with these two more then I played the game itself sometimes. God the memories flooding back for sure. I am not good enough in cas but I am very happy how they turned out still. I had a modded Boone in NV so he is look different then the original.)
